381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: September 05, 2023, 11:26:35 PM
I want to ask those of you who have a hard addiction experience in gambling and then you can treat it yourself, and today still playing gambling but with the principle of good management and financial management in gambling.
I want to know how you break away from the addiction, you can mention the actions taken or what kind of steps? And how long do you need time to break away from the addiction that has been experienced?

"I want to find out because I think your experience in the case as I mentioned will be useful for readers, especially for me personally"

No choice but to deal with yourselves. There's no specific thing that keeps us still in responsible act even though we are always gambling.

Being always disciplined in gambling might be tough to do for you but there's no other person who can help you but "ONLY YOU". What's your goal and want to achieve? Stay away from gambling? Minimizing your gambling activity? Taking a break from gambling? Tell us specifically.

The fact that you able to post here at the gambling section about your concern, I'm sure you already know what to do but not just proceeding yet.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes the win is right in front of us-little tip to sport bettors on: September 05, 2023, 11:19:44 PM
How many of you overlook this simple fact which can lead to bet wins?

Technically speaking, what you figured out is just "ONE" of the factors that can lead to a winning bet.

But in the end, the output is still subject to an unknown percentage of winning. If looking only at that thing you have figured out, we should already have many bettors relying on that single factor and no need for any analysis. Besides, even though there's data available about that, bettors also care about the "ODDS".

Maybe let's just put it this way, if it's effective for you then continue depending and relying on that.

After all, bettors have different approaches and criteria on making an analysis.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos Should Also Be Prepared For Health Emergencies on: September 05, 2023, 11:12:29 PM
This happened in 2022 and although I do not know the outcome of the court case, my thoughts are that the discussion about casinos should go beyond security measures to cover how prepared they are in the event of a health emergency . I think that well-equipped First Aid Kit and trained paramedical staff could significantly contribute to ensuring the safety and well-being of casino patrons. Although casinos are primarily places where people go for entertainment and profit, the operators should put in place health emergency measures could potentially mitigate the impact of unforeseen events. On the other hand, I would argue that the family of the deceased is trying to obtain money from the casino. Do you think the casino is to be blamed?

If I'm not mistaken most physical casinos do have their respective medical staff on their premises.

I believe it's already standard and mandatory for physical casinos to have medical teams that can be deployed right away in case of an emergency inside the casino hall. Part of having a license to operate is to have the same for other establishments. It's like a standard protocol for any establishment regardless of the business type, genre, and industry.

About the question if casinos can be blamed for that unfortunate incident, no. They didn't force the person in the first place.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Having a problem a Personal Finance? on: September 04, 2023, 11:58:07 PM
Not contradict the advice given by OP, but honestly, there are a lot of knowledgeable people talking about how to find the solution in personal finance without even understanding the real experience of being in that situation. Don't give a comment with a simple follow here, follow there, read books about finance, etc., etc., etc.

I'd rather look and research for a person who really knows being in a poor state and really starts from scratch.

They know more about how to survive being in a worst financial situation and what they do is more inspiring to follow.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your perception about crypto games? on: September 04, 2023, 11:48:10 PM
I am not by any means trying to advertise any these but for the sake of clarity to the discuss. Here's a link to the crypto games am asking  https://dappradar.com/tag/play-to-earn?gclid=Cj0KCQjwgNanBhDUARIsAAeIcAts-Xvi1wiZkpPs0kENByxgj5oQkaHB69EinhmXwpX6thewvaq-0UEaArkQEALw_wcB

Joined the hype while it lasted. But on the way, always take caution that no hype can last for long.

Joined their respective community channel such as Telegram, Discord, etc., or if there's an announcement thread posted here in the forum. Check your fellow followers there and collect feedback about how they looked at that said game. There are play-to-earn games that get much attention even not on a bull run, that's why you have to be careful where will you put that money of yours.

Good luck with your decision on choosing what games might meet your standards.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give Him a loan Or Partner With Him on: September 04, 2023, 11:38:18 PM
What's your best course of action in this scenario?

A common friend confided this to me.

Regardless of the reason why he's taking a loan, you know your friend more than us.

Is he capable of paying back the loan?
Has he turned down you at his promises even once?
How do you trust him in his words?

If you ask that question in the community, many might say that don't give him a loan. We can't give you any better advice. That common friend of yours is only known by you including his behavior, personality, traits, and many more. Only you can decide what to do, not us.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your security is our top priority! on: September 04, 2023, 11:30:33 PM
It's better instead that you just continue sharing articles here while redirecting to your main site.

Such a subject of yours can just simply be placed on your announcement thread. It doesn't need a discussion since you are talking about the security of your platform and not in general. There, you can explain how tough and good the security is and why users should trust their funds there.

Why not make your announcement thread alive with the use of posting how good the platform security is?
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: September 04, 2023, 11:22:07 PM
This question can be very tough to answer, but believe me, many people won't stop thinking of that if it happened to them, so I want to know your opinion about how you would feel if it happened to you.

It's not tough to answer. You just have to accept that sometimes such things happen.

I do have lots of missed opportunities to place a bet and those bets got won. In the first place, do you really have the guts and bravery to place a decent bet on it? Since you are talking a life-changing amount, that requires a decent bet too.

Just move on and mind the current one. We will never move forward if we will think about that situation.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: September 02, 2023, 11:59:37 PM
Only some of the gambling sites will ask you for the kyc.If you are satisfy with the rules of that website, you can do kyc to that website. Some websites only ask you details of the KYC,other will ask your entire kyc with Vedio recordings. The KYC with video recording was mostly the trusted website,So you can use such websites if you are getting enough bonus from that gambling sites. The bonus is also important one to create one new account to the additional Gambling site.Only the website which had video recording kyc as compulsory will not reject kyc which was submitted.

I have never saw a gambling site having video verification as part of KYC. It's just common on crypto-exchanges but not on gambling sites. Even online fiat casinos, which are known to have a mandatory KYC, don't have a verification needed but only the usual like valid ID's and any others. Video verification, if it's really asked by gambling sites, is not appropriate for me.

But I agree that if we trust the site and the said site is already reputable, I don't find it risky to provide our documents if we plan to play there for long.

These days, some people are still afraid of identity theft but use real name and posting personal stuffs on the social media lol.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A typical weekend in sport betting-Why do gamblers still do sport bets? on: September 02, 2023, 11:49:02 PM
Nothing extraordinary or exceptional as a reason but it's just that, bettors just used to place a bet regularly.

If they are following a league for a long time, expect that regular bets will be placed for these bettors. It's like they are enjoying the league while having the opportunity to earn more. With their knowledge here, they help themselves to increase their winning chance. Still need luck to win but analysis plays an important role in their decision as something unexpected result can happen in sports betting.

Others also tried to chase losses as they lost on their previous bet. A usual cycle we see in gambling and just repeating as time progresses.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 02, 2023, 11:38:55 PM
Yup, even they win this one with a huge margin there's nothing that can be done for the host team to be qualified for the next olympics, we missed our chance losing from the last 4 games, a good learning experienced for the rest of the team and for sure if being handle by the same managements it will be the same exact reason, " A good learning experienced"

Oh well, just wanna congrats all those bettors who managed to place their support betting for the home team and earned decently after the game.
We are against the top teams, and we cannot blame the whole team for this as they performed their best and yet fell short. I agree about the statement of Coach Chot that other top teams didn’t even qualify for the next round and yet and we expecting to see Philippines in the next round? Maybe we are just expecting too much but its finally good to see our first win, we wish the team Gilas for a better years to come, we still have time to play next time.

The Samahang Basketbol of Pilipinas that manages the Gilas, spends big money for that event and talking about the salary, Jordan Clarkson alone has around Php 56,000,000 salary. Just try to do the math for all Gilas salary combined. They also spend much on long preparation for this event and there are lots of adjustments made the whole year just to be fully prepared.

If it's alright to just lose as other top teams didn't qualify for the next round, why still focus on basketball preparation? It's just reasonable for Pinoy fans to expect the Philippines to enter the next round because the country prioritize this sport compared to other sports that we are much good and better in the international event.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: August 30, 2023, 11:57:05 PM
Casimero fighting against an unknown fighter who he knows is no match is just somewhat of a fixed fight for him to be tuned up. He needs to move up because by the time Inoue unifies the belt in the SBW, he'd be gone up to 126.

Casimero is getting old and got no belt that will make Inoue interested in fighting for. If he is still interested in fighting the baddest monster, he'd have to be 126lbs with the belt from WBA and IBF for him to get a shot with Inoue.

What else can he do? There is no choice but to just accept any available fight. Look at his current state now by doing so, fighting against unranked boxers with only 2 fights at 122 lbs but now currently being ranked #6 by the WBC and ranked #3 by the WBO. It means slowly but surely, the progress is good.

Don't worry about Naoya Inoue. Casimero doesn't need to rush. If Inoue moves up, then Casimero's plan to become a world champion again doesn't change. He will just go straight to his goals to have a taste again of being a champion. But if we look at the possible plan of Naoya Inoue if ever becoming a unified champion at 122, he will not move up right away at 126 and will have a series of title defense first.

Soon, Casimero and Inoue will catch up. I'm sure about that.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 30, 2023, 11:45:31 PM
Most probably yeah! Giannis already expressed that he wants to be on a team that could give him additional rings and he will not be staying with the Bucks if he couldn't win one anymore. So, the Warriors will be a perfect spot for him in his free agency. NBA fans are actually looking forward to this and the Bucks not gonna be the same anymore if Giannis leave, well not unless if they can make a significant improvement with the team next season.

Long way to go and for sure, there might be a change of decision depending on where the Milwaukee Bucks will end up next season. If able to compete again for the Finals and let's say Milwaukee Bucks is able to get into the championship list, an extension is sure guarantee to happen for Giannis.

Giannis will enter free agency after the 2024-25 season and along the way, there will be lots of happenings that can change his mind.

Too early to discuss his future with the Bucks but the fact that he opened up something about being departed from the team, the Bucks have to do something.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: August 30, 2023, 11:33:05 PM
That is really the big issue with Jerwin when he lost the belt the first time, not sure though why they insists on a rematch since he can no longer make the weight class and obviously his body is getting bigger.

Maybe before, not confident enough to climb at 118 pounds when there were lots of strong contenders during that time.

Just my guess though why he decided to just stay at 115  and we know what happened later on. It's good for me to see him being defeated at the hands of Fernando Martinez, not once but twice, for him to recognize that they need to get out from that division he reigned for a long and consider stepping up another challenge on his career. Being a contender now at one of the belts at 118, I'm sure he won't have any weight problems now. Previously in his last fight in June, he weighed around 121 lbs during his fight against Wilner Soto which he got a knockout win.

We can assume that Ancajas' comfort weight now is between 118 to 122.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Five Ways Bitcoin is Changing the Sports Betting Game on: August 30, 2023, 11:13:19 PM
When we use our credit cards to fund our sports betting accounts, we often must pay a close to 10% fee. The 10% funding fee comes from our sportsbooks.

To be fair, most online sportsbooks that primarily accept fiat currency are passing on costs to us, to their players. So the 10% isn’t always sportsbook operators gouging their customers.

First of all, credit cards are not accepted at most fiat sports betting sites. It was subject to decline by most banks.

Besides isn't it just usual and common that any credit card purchases in general do have associated fees? How come you won't face any fees when using credit cards? It's "credit". Can you name fiat sportsbooks that do have fees when depositing? Maybe on global sportsbook but there are lots of local fiat sportsbooks where the payment is 1:1. There's even a bonus on a specific payment method used.

I'm with Bitcoin sportsbook overall but the comparison of fees between fiat sportsbook seems not appropriate to me.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Glitches still affects online casinos? Or it's the casinos that sucks on: August 29, 2023, 11:59:03 PM
It's a shame that technical glitches and server errors still happen on some online casinos, games that aren't even graphically intense, they aren't even using lots of data resources to run e.g upload and download speed.

This doesn't happen to me but my very close friend and he is at a loss because of it, im just wondering what I would have done if it happened to me?

Seriously, these days where gambling technology is already at the top level, and sites are using almost the same software graphics to online games, there are still gambling sites that always experience game freeze? Most games are being provided now by popular and top game providers and even with no game providers, own-site games are not laggy and not freezing in most cases.

Can you mention the site that your friend is playing and not just talk about it in general as it happened in every case?

Since that's your friend why not give him friendly advice to play instead with the site you know as the best one that doesn't have that laggy experience? There are lots of recommended sites you should give to your friend as a regular user staying here in the gambling section for quite a time now.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How late is too late to place a bet for a gambler? on: August 29, 2023, 11:48:22 PM
In order not to over stretch this topic, I just want us to dialogue candidly on your personal experience as to the one time you were so late in making a bet, but had to do it anyways.

Did that last minute bet make you win or you lost more and regretted the decision?

As long as we are comfortable with the odds, and as you said, really had to bet regardless of anything, then should be fine whatever the result is. It really depends on how we see that said match we want to bet on because in the first place if we are really determined to place a bet on it, why regret that decision in the first place? Besides, even if it loses, then just make up for the next bet.

Risksy as might it be to the others but that's just one of the scenarios when dealing with sports betting.

I think you should not think much about it. Sports betting is already technical and yet we are thinking about things that are not even mandatory or important. What we should think about is how to properly analyze and keep up with our sports betting strategy and not anything else.

Don't add another distraction to your sports betting experience.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Slot Streamers on: August 29, 2023, 11:38:21 PM
I think we understand that in gambling there are no experts, everyone will lose in the end. But this all streamers are just promotions for the company or the gambling platform. And the more well known streamers they got the better for them.

For example, Drake playing with Stake is already a big boost for them. Just saw him with like betting $1 million per spin in a roulette, that is huge already. And then Rothstein and someone I forget. So it's a win-win for those gambling platforms.

Disagree with you. There are gambling experts and these guys really know anything about gambling in general.

It's not that even these people are called gambling experts, they are not losing anymore. There are gambling streamers who are not just showing how they place their bets for entertainment but rather explaining what they really do and sometimes do explain the gambling interface they are showing to their viewers.

About the last part of your post, hiring someone like Drake is not a win-win situation for Stake. A win-win situation does have risks and I can't apply that when Stake made a partnership with Drake. Drake is a highly popular celebrity already therefore expect that he can drag the name of Stake in a much more popularity and he already did. There's no win-win situation but rather Stake just made a good move.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: August 29, 2023, 11:28:14 PM
At last, John Riel Casimero will now finally have a fight again and return to the ring.

He really needs more fights, even against anyone or unranked, as he's building and climbing his ranking (currently at #3 on WBO) in order to be a contender again here at 122 lbs. The goal is to be recognized and he should have an impressive win here like what he did in his debut fight at 122 against Ryo Akaho. He really needs to make sound again in this division as his previous fight against Namibias' Fillipus Nghitumbwa wasn't that impressive although he won the score at all 3 judges and was able to get an unanimous win.

Prior to picking Oguni, there were two or three ranked fighters who challenged Casimero. One of them is former 118 champion Luis Nery who is ranked WBC #1, WBO #2, and IBF #7. Casimero at the moment is ranked WBO #3 and WBC #8. Maybe Casimero's team thinks that this type of fight deserves a belt which makes this a high risk with low reward. Besides, Nery is banned in Japan after being caught using illegal substances. And I doubt Casimero agrees to travel to Mexico which is also very risky IMO.

I think that's the other way around where instead, the Casimero camp is challenging Luis Nery but the latter camp didn't have an interest.

Anyway, doesn't matter anymore as Casimero just needs to take down all opponents on his way. After that, we should see a bright light on his career by having a shot to face Naoya Inoue at the WBO title or unification, if possible, if the monster wins against his counterpart champion, Tapales.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Still not a safe practice even if it works on: August 29, 2023, 11:18:07 PM
I have seen a few pieces of content online that are saying Stake, Fortune Jack, Casino Gap and few others are VPN-friendly.

Are users on here agreeing on these few mentioned online casino? I am asking this because I believe those who still use VPN on these casinos are not safe.

Because using a VPN is not openly acceptable by these online casinos, there is no where it's written on their website, I know readers might feel like, why would they wrote such on their website when the law isn't permitting such?

What is your main concern? If you think using a VPN will put your account at risk, even if it's allowed at the said site, then just simply don't use it. Knowing the terms and conditions related to VPN is a must but if you are not really sure what to do then you can totally ignore using VPN, for your own safety.

There are VPN-friendly sites and those sites you mentioned are examples. As long as the usage is detected from a supported country, no problem at all.

Are users on here agreeing on these few mentioned online casino? I am asking this because I believe those who still use VPN on these casinos are not safe.

What specifically do you mean about being "safe"?

Safe from security-related issues or safe from accounts not being banned?

Again, how accounts will be subject to a ban if they just used a VPN where in the first place, it was allowed by the gambling site? Also as I mentioned, as long as it's not used for anything crappy reason, users are freely to used VPN. Skip totally on using if users don't know about the terms.
