381  Economy / Services / Re: No Listing Fees Ever at itcoinBay.com - Buy|Sell with Bitcoin on: July 07, 2019, 03:14:22 PM
Well that mindset is exactly the problem: "I don't want to pay you 1 btc today for a 10k piece of whatever and tomorrow repent having sent you that 1 btc when its price could be 50k and whatever I bought would still say the same price, or even lose its value."

Until people mature past that type of thinking or Bitcoin stabilizes, this is an uphill battle. What about the 'person' that bought that 1 BTC for a few dollars or even pennies on the dollar? They can buy a 10k piece of whatever for a few pennies or a few dollars, yea? It's like any purchase, you buy something with any currency today because you want or need it. Your scenario states exactly the hesitation that paralyzes Bitcoin users. When the dust clears and the what if's evaporate, we will be here to provide a true Peer to Peer platform for Buyers and Sellers. Why trust your Bitcoin to an exchange that can disappear with everyone's Bitcoin today or tomorrow. Keep your Bitcoin in your wallet and if you see something you like, spend a little. Very simple concept. Your banker induced mindset is a huge hurdle that remains to be jumped by humanity. True freedom is as foreign and frightening as an unknown language for most.

You have to choose between what you want to do.
Promote your business or change the mentality of how the world functions practically? Most normal people do not have Bitcoins sitting with them.

They acquire it, they sell it. You will never move past the first line of acquiring new customers if you are worried about their mentality.
Figure out what you want first. good luck
382  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for linkpartners on: July 07, 2019, 03:09:15 PM
I am looking for websites to do a link exchange with. I have a cryptocurrency website and would love to connect with other webmasters.

It is impossible for you to find a link partner without knowing what your website is. So please mention that first.
Secondly, it is highly unlikely that you are the one with a quality traffic, otherwise you would not be out here. So expect to pay some premium in addition to the link exchange.
You can also give links-pal.com a shot, they usually work out quite well if your target is JUST the traffic.
383  Economy / Services / Re: No Listing Fees Ever at itcoinBay.com - Buy|Sell with Bitcoin on: July 07, 2019, 02:56:51 PM
Sorry, can't exchange merits for bitcoins, even more so since I'm a merit source, and should lead by example.

Okay that’s understandable. When I first made the offer I mentioned the merit as a thank you to me but didn’t consider that a moderator would take us up on it.

Thanks again for joining our site. Hope you can use it and send us some Referrals which will pay you a little more Bitcoin. Just have them add your email or member number as the Referrer.

Just so you know, malevolent let you off easy here. Just keep this golden rule in mind. Never ask for merit or trust in exchange for anything you do here. I am not sure how familiar you are with the forum culture here. So far a mod has kind of vouched for you, cleared my doubt about this not being trust buying, I'd say you are in a good spot now. Don't screw it up by leaving your website looking the way it does right now.

Good grief people can find fault in anything that you do...
Cпacибo зa кoмплимeнт, a пoкaзaть нaм cвoй caйт xoчeшь?

No need to thank me.

And no I do not have my own site. I just have the luxury of visiting some of the best sites run by some of the best companies in the hospitality industry in Romania.
De asemenea, rusul meu. Nu e bine.  Grin Intelegi romana?

Hey I know it's a huge understatement to say that the site is not first class. But again, it is not clear whether a Bitcoin auction site will succeed or not. If we build it, will they come? There are a lot of obstacles. The newness of Bitcoin, the volatility of Bitcoin, the technicality of Bitcoin, will people spend their Bitcoin?, etc., etc. The site is functional and we are marketing it as the anti-establishment site that it is and as Bitcoin is purported to be (assuming the rumors about it being a CIA creation are false). We are somewhat unique in that we break from the norm as is revealed in this snippet:

Now since we at itcoinBay.com do not attach ourselves nor our members to fiat currencies, bank accounts or credit cards, we have developed a fee-based system for the purpose of accountability. It would be great to be able to just trust everyone, but until society evolves to that point, for the protection of all participants we will practice the Russian policy of 'trust but verify,' by charging a modest fee for participation. In the age of $1000 cell phones, $5+ coffee and Washington, D.C., we don’t feel at all apprehensive about this fee.

At our site, no 3rd party payment or conversion systems, downloads, platform installs, special wallets, etc. are required. We use only Peer to Peer transactions as envisioned by Satoshi Nakamoto. After all, is this is not how Bitcoin was intended to be used?

We are also trying to help lead the way away from fiat, if everyone is constantly comparing the price of Bitcoin to the dollar, it creates a paralysis of sorts. We say let's forget about what the dollar is doing and just use Bitcoin. An example of this is the non-fiat Bitcoin ticker we have created (Bitcoin compared to ounces of gold) https://itcoinbay.com/Widget/. At the moment 1 Bitcoin is equal to 8.1312 ounces of gold.

If we can gain some traction, we plan to 'up' the quality of the site. But why spend a million dollars on something that no one will use? Judging by the popularity of all of the gambling sites in the Bitcoin and crypto world, I am very surprised that our Contest/Drawing hasn't created more interest. For .01 BTC, Sellers will have a 1 in 100 chance to win either an $1800 drone or .1 BTC. Not too shabby it seems to us. And 1 in 10 will win something, the Consolation Prizes being Trezor (or Keepkey) hardware wallets.

For practical, or more conservative people, we offer a real chance to earn Bitcoin by selling things (assuming someone wants to purchase a Seller's auction) and by referring others. We offer many links for newbies to learn about Bitcoin and obtain some Bitcoin and we provide our phone number and e-mail for answering questions. Not sure that the time of a thriving Bitcoin auction site is yet at hand, but we hope to be ready when that time comes, we aren't going away.

Oh yea, no I don't understand a lick of Romanian.

So why not diversify and not just stay limited to act like an auction site? Open up your site to free sign ups, and keep the entry gate price for the auction sellers & bidders. If you want to attract customers that will stay and come back for more then you have to give them the reason to come back over and over again.
I have suggested this to some other project here in the past, that they should try to integrate the instant exchange that changelly, shapeshift, flyp.me and coinswitch offers. Try them out. This will instantly reduce the fear of volatility that dealing with crypto brings on its own. I don't want to pay you 1 btc today for a 10k piece of whatever and tomorrow repent having sent you that 1 btc when its price could be 50k and whatever I bought would still say the same price, or even lose its value.
384  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽⚽🏆🏆Earn 5 BTC Bonus & Free Soccer Bet Airdrop on Match365 App 🏆🏆⚽⚽ on: July 07, 2019, 02:44:22 PM
If anything then this new app is trying to fool customers by naming their app close to an already popular app. Shady practice but common. And it is usually employed by developers that do not have ANYTHING unique to offer.

So if you want to develop real user following op, please change your app name to something unique.

It wont really make that difference.Using up keyword 365 is just like taking a shot to the moon if this one would buy out or not.
Their first deposit Bonus seems pretty shady on my part.

Even high-end sites do not pay so much multiplier for deposit bonus.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Cupa Regelui & Cupa Reginei la Oina 2019 and beyond.. on: July 07, 2019, 02:19:39 PM
This is a long shot. I doubt if anyone of you have ever heard of this sport, let alone discuss it. But here it goes.

Let us talk about Oina or Hoyna as it is called here. It is a baseball like sport. Very similar but shorter games.
You can look in google or wikipedia about it.

Here is a video for a typical Oina match.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWivP4rNvxw

Recently, in may the King's cup and the Queen's cup competition was held.
The king's cup was won by Straja Bucharest. They don't have a website but you can find them on facebook ast @Straja.oina
The queen's cup was won by Bailesti Progressi club from Otlenia.

So is there anyone here that follows Oina or is from Romania or Moldova? Let's discuss the future of the sport.
Maybe I will have enough discussers here to do a betting game next year for the next King's / Queen's cups.
386  Economy / Services / Re: Twitter Influencer, targeted crypto promotion to +53,800 followers. on: July 07, 2019, 01:34:58 PM
I have managed some big influencers (not social media as it is not yet that big in my country) and let me tell you a golden rule.
Do not go out publicly looking for clients. Establish your brand and protect it by picking projects that your views and your audience's views align with. And then stick with it.
You coming out here seeking clients as an influencer just shows how little your brand value is.

Create contact forms and sales funnels so that your prospective buyers reach out to you based on your visibility, not the opposite way.  Cool Good luck.
387  Economy / Services / Re: Coming soon - Gamblingtec Signature Campaign | Get BTC or your own casino brand on: July 07, 2019, 01:21:23 PM
Is it a good or bad start for a campaign that chooses not to escrow to a more reputable escrow, the rate is good but surprised that they are not setting a limit on a post, we'll we see another stake.com campaign because of the absence of limit of posting.

There is a limit, 5 to 20 posts per week (we do not want to spam the boards).

Well that's good and I thought you are also going to do unlimited posting, that is not good for any project, I hope you can manage the campaign since the escrow has a bad reputation anyway you'll be going to give some people at least an income, doing bounty hunting in altcoins are not good anymore people are shifting to promoting gambling sites.

It would not be the first time a campaign manager chose to self escrow funds. When has that ever gone wrong? wink wink.
But I think we should just give this campaign a week and see whether it pays or not.

Maybe the manager really is that apprehensive about others and trusts their own instincts and choices better than everyone else's. This is not the most desirable quality in a person, but we are here to make money, not be judge of someone's personalities.
388  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism - No ban? on: July 07, 2019, 01:12:15 PM
I think the initial ban wave for plagiarism was a wave of high enthusiasm by moderators when the rule was imposed. Since a few days have passed by and the most heinous offenders said bye bye, the criteria for a permaban has reduced or at least maybe the stance has softened since then.

390  Other / Meta / I just hit 'leet' on: July 07, 2019, 12:50:05 PM
So finally I have 'leet' on my profile haha I have been posting steadily to get up to this mark since I first read about it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=619843.00

Now about why I am posting on meta.. this is a cool little easter egg. And I think there can be so many more per rank. Can these become collectibles? Like on the erc721 ? Will theymos or anyone from the old times support such a fun project? Would theymos allow creating of such custom apis that could perhaps be crafted by Loyce and other intelligent coders here?
391  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Sponsorship and Funding Needed on: July 07, 2019, 12:45:56 PM
These are the beginning stages of building something new and exciting for everyone to take part in. You as an early investor will have a sneak peek of something very unique and also special that will hopefully better us all and get us one step closer to bettering ourselves, our planet and one another. A project where we can all take part of for a greater cause other than ourselves and work together in unity as one. If you are interested in being an early investor and want to take part please send me a message. Comments are welcome.
We get this show on our TVs the shark tank and also dragons den. I suggest you find the episodes of these shows on youtube. I am sure there are local alternatives in your country as well. Look at them. See what investors look for in projects that look for early investments. Nearly no investor is interested in investing just your words or ideas. Everyone has ideas. Also, the thing about saving the planet, greater cause all comes secondary.. primary goal is to make money. If you do not concentrate on your pitch about the monetary profiting aspect, you will never have anyone interested in giving you their time .. forget about money  Cheesy Cheesy Grin
392  Economy / Services / Re: ⚡⚡ Blockium.io hiring ⚡⚡ ! Looking for a community manager on: July 07, 2019, 12:41:57 PM
I made this comment on your other thread
And let me guess, you are paying in your tokens to all these people you are hiring?
Why don't you rather use monopoly money instead of your own tokens? Since we're already relying on wannabe fantasy money?
I am not 100% sure that you are paying in tokens, I just assume that you are because 90%  projects that I come across are like that these days. So if I am wrong, I do apologize in advance.
You can take a look at the "Overview of services" by 0t3p0t here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2727673.0
and maybe post your requirement on legendster's job thread which has a lot of views. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2165225.0

But I would just like to repeat again, if you hiring people, please pay them with money that can be cashed. Good luck

And I must also say that this part of the forum is only for projects that pay in bitcoin. So you have to clarify what you are paying with. If it is your own coin, you will have to move this to altcoin marketplace
So keep that in your mind please.
And also I do not think you need so many different threads to hire for the same project.
You can also take a look at the project development section that has many people offering their service in their own threads.
393  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] LiveCoin Signature Campaign | Hero/Legendary Members | Up to 0.02BTC/Week on: July 07, 2019, 12:28:53 PM
Okay lets say that a merit farmer has joined the campaign. Can you do anything on it?? You're not the campaign manager and he has the right to pick the participants that can join in the campaign. You don't have the right to complain here.

Anyone and everyone can voice their opinion. And they should. It is not a question of right or wrong, maybe this thread itself is not the best place to make such complains. You have the reputation section for that.

This isn't really the right thread, you are right, it should be in the reputation section and Hhampuz Reputation Thread is the right thread.

I wouldn't say that either. It should have its own dedicated thread which I think it already does. Us commenting here is just making this thread for signature applicants more messy. Plus, like it or not, we also promoting Livecoin by talking here as they are getting a lot of free press. Even if that is negative.

I don't join the campaign, but I have my perspective like this: Flag or Trust, their main purpose is to protect forum users in particular, and crypto investors in general. Hence, if later days or weeks, if there are official threads from forum staffs (I don't think they will open such threads) or DT members (most likely we might see it if real scam projects proven), it will be a strong warning for supporters of Livecoin - for example (or whatever projects). In my experience, when such things happen, DT members will give supporters an acceptable period to remove their avatar and signature. I said this because I saw that approach occured with DuckDice's campaign months ago.
Please don't apply this signature, may be DT will tag your account. Whoever currently wearing signature please remove within 72 hours  otherwise may be you will got tag. Do not apply until solve accusation. OP and Escrow holder already got tag.
I also have my guide here: Guide on avoid red tags by supporting already known scam projects. It is outdated, but core idea is the same between Trust and Flags.

For now, I think that we should not discuss about it in the thread, and should not immediately judge supporters as scammers.

Duckdice was a scam case for sure and not the first one to be stopped by influential members like that. But it is not the same as Livecoin here. Just my two cents.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Token! on: July 07, 2019, 05:21:56 AM
Interesting coin name, I think it perfectly shows the whole essence of the coin itself. Can you tell us a little more about the coin before I do the research myself?

Do you actually want to waste time researching about a coin that calls itself 'shit'?
It is not even the Dogecoin equivalent.

Anyways, I tried accessing their website, shittoken.io it never loads. It could be a Romanian isp blocking issue or just that their shit site is just gone.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gatecoin - Legal? on: July 07, 2019, 05:14:58 AM

https://www.coindesk.com/gatecoin-crypto-exchange-to-shut-down-on-courts-orders

That time Gatecoin was ordered to shut down by the court. Later did the court really permit Gatecoin to resume business?

Now Gatecoin is still visible on web. Is it legal business and website?

Is it safe to buy from this site?

A similar thing happened with Bitmex when they had their wire transfers suspended back by Wells Fargo. They wounded up in the laps of Crypto Capital payment processor which in turn lead to the 900 million tether scandal.  So it is pretty much an ironclad thing when regulators decide to do something in Hongkong, it usually happens exactly that way. Even if the gatecoin website is visible, i would not use it. I will advise you to also stay away.

Your coins are shit coins and worthless.

With that said, they are still your shit coins and what this stupid fellow did is scam no doubt. So I have supported the flag. I don't think you will get your coins back, but at least this will prevent him from scamming someone else like you again.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your View of Facebook Coins? on: July 07, 2019, 03:44:24 AM
There's a high possibility that fb coin will become successful and may enter top 10 most valuable coins in the market not too long after launching. Well, what will you expect from a big and known company with lots of users and maybe an eye opener for others that crypto is worth to invest.

Well there will be 28 founding companies each with about $10 million investment. So that's $280 million evaluation right there. This already puts them in the top 40. Where it goes from there, who knows. Plus there will be non founding / non node running investors as well, they would further push the valuation.

It is nothing special apart from the huge money that is being poured into the project.
