381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VPN - Differences between countries where gambling is legal and not on: February 04, 2024, 10:14:51 AM
VPN is something that is popular and widely used, including for gambling. Regardless of privacy issues or access to sites that are prohibited in a country. Regardless of whether a casino's policy allows the use of vpn or not, are there any differences in protection for gamblers when they come from countries where gambling is legal?

Such as protection for gamblers who are cheated by casinos because their games are considered suspicious or because their accounts are blocked unilaterally by the casino. If yes, how do report it? if there isn't then there is no difference between countries that legalize gambling and those that don't

Crypto gambling space is a wild west! A lot of crazy things happened before, so if we can draw any conclusion it's that sometimes it can be difficult for the player to get justice. Those who live in well-arranged countries can turn to some institutions I guess, but for many of us who live in fucked-up countries the only way to for solving issues is by reporting it to this forum, CasinoGuru, and AskGamblers.

I have been using VPN for a while, but just to play some providers. I only used it in casinos that allow VPN and I never had any problems. But as some other members pointed out using VPN can be a double-edged sword, that's why I don't use it anymore. I play providers that are allowed for me, I simply don't wish to get into a situation where a casino can decide to just ban me because my country is restricted.

I would love to but its mixed hold'em though so there are varieties to be played on the table. We all know how bad freeroll could be when people keep throwing their chips away on all in because its 'freeroll' after all and now we gotta deal with this type of situation on a mixed hold'em. I'd imagine atleast half of the people that register there wont have a single clue about omaha let alone the other variants

I feel the same about free rolls, but I was curious about poker on Telegram and how that poker actually works. I must say I am presently surprised, I played from the laptop and this poker looks cool on the browser, I think I can even say I like how it looks. The start time of the tournament suits me, so I think I will try again tonight... Last night I was out after 20 minutes of the game (two kings vs ace and a lady... one lady on the flop and the other on river busted my two kings). Hopefully, I will have better luck and get a better place, I would like to try the cash tables. For now, the only deposit option is USDT on ERC20, and I am not a fan of that.

I agree with you; I ike the concept of dividend based casinos, but too bad that the mining already stopped a while ago. It was always fun to keep chasing more BFG by playing on the casino. All my BFG I received by playing, so I never bought any but it is strange that there is no like focus on it anymore. In the past, they talked about listing it on bigger exchanges, but they never pursued it.

This is how we mine BFG's, this is a rakeback from playing today:

I was surprised that I could play Pragmatic without a VPN, I couldn't before. Pragmatic was banned for me almost everywhere, I couldn't play it without a VPN, but now I can in several casinos without a VPN. On the other hand, I could play ELK provider almost everywhere, but now it's banned in every casino where I am regular, I wonder where I can play it without a VPN. Strange things happen with these providers!

Anyway, Betfury looks better than ever with all the features they offer now. Instead of focusing on BFG people should focus on the casino and maybe try it and play some games. Good luck all players! Smiley

Telegram poker is something new definitely.

I noticed free roll games, so I decided to try it! I haven't played poker in a long time, so it will be interesting... Anyway, this is a nice opportunity to test Telegram poker, to be honest, I'm not sure what to expect. Does anyone else plan to join? 25 free seats left. Good luck all!
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: February 03, 2024, 10:21:02 AM
Do you really see gambling as more of fun than a means to a financial end?

how much can you put into gambling before it removes the fun aspect of gambling out of it?

Every gambler would like to win such a big jackpot that will provide us financially for the rest of our lives, but that does not mean that we should risk everything we have to achieve it. But we need to be realistic, something like that doesn't happen so often and it doesn't happen to everyone. So we need to gamble for fun & entertainment, and if we win some nice amount of money that is just a bonus, but if we lose some money we will not lose our minds. In the end, it's nice to have some positive expectations when we decide to gamble, but we need to know it's gambling after all, so keep your mind on the game and try to be realistic. Don't expect a financial end if you chase x2-x3 with some small bets on crash or dice game. Wink

It's individual how much money can someone spend on gambling... some people can spend less and some more money, it's not that important! What's important is that you play with the amount you feel comfortable with, the money you can afford to lose.

BTCGosu: Metaspins Casino Review

When it's "BTCGosu approved" you don't have to worry about it. I like MetaSpins because there are no restrictions for me, I can play any provider I want without a VPN! It's not just that, a lot of "free spins", "reload bonuses", "deposit bonuses", "lottery tickets", etc...  Deposits & withdrawals are fast, I am playing there for months without any KYC requirements.

https://www.btcgosu.com/review/dailyspins-casino/ - Metaspins sister casino, trust them for sure

Well, I haven't tried them yet, but I will probably test them shortly. Smiley

Good luck all players!

Keep the community updated on the progress of your wd. Whether they do or don't process the wd is going to say alot for them. It's kinda odd they made an account and have 1 post so far as well. Hope that's not a bad sign, Reps need to be active IMO.

I didn't try them just like that:

I knew I had seen the Weiss casino somewhere before:
BTCGosu Weiss Casino Review
Since they have a BTCGosu review I decided to give them a try!

I waited 7-8 hours before contacting support, they told me that the withdrawal can take anywhere from 15 minutes to several days. Maybe I would have waited longer, who knows, but BTCGosu provided support and speeded things up.

We are glad that you give us a try!

Yes, as your Loyalty rank increases, you will receive more tokens and bonuses from the casino.

Thanks for noticing our identity in brighter colors!

I am glad that I gave you a try! I had a great evening with some crazy nice winnings! In the end, everything was good for me and I made a nice profit! I am lvl 5 and I need just a few points to lvl 6! I guess I will be there in the upcoming days!
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent have you hated yourself due to your gambling losses? on: February 02, 2024, 04:59:06 PM
In your entire gambling journey, have you ever had a series of losses to the extent you hated yourself so much for being so unlucky?

I had a series of losses... When I was younger and without family I had situations when all my wallets got empty! But I never hated myself, that's a very wrong thing to do. I can throw some hard words in all directions, but I usually calm down after a few minutes and I just continue with my life. Of course, I made some promises to myself that I would "never play that game again in my life", but that never lasted too long.

Now I am much more careful with money. It's important to be careful about deposits/spending on gambling and to take breaks after some consecutive losses. As I said many times, it's all fun & games as long as we play with amounts we can afford to lose. As long as it's like that it's never "the end of the world" even if we lose some money.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are people still interested in bankroll investment ? on: February 02, 2024, 02:40:14 PM
Well bankroll investment is like pooling money with others to ride the ups and downs of Bitcoin. It can be a way to hodl and potentially make gains. Just be careful, check out the platform thoroughly and watch out for scams in the crypto world. Its basic

It's exactly that, and we had some casinos that had done that in the past. One of the lists from many years ago:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1389266.msg14114671#msg14114671

In the end, it all comes down to how trustworthy a casino is. I wouldn't like to deposit and stake my coins in some new casino without some guarantees. It's one of the reasons I like dividend-based casinos, I play (or we can buy casino tokens) and earn tokens and stake them for some passive income, I don't need to risk by leaving my Bitcoin in a casino.

Please if you were able to complete the requirements (I.e the 24% that’s left) keep us updated.

I want to know how the withdrawal process went – if they do actually request KYC before withdrawal or it’s when their system flags an account as been suspicious - I’m just curious to hear your experience.

Wagering requirement finished:

I tried to withdraw and I immediately got a message that I have to be verified if I want to continue. Luckily, that process was really fast, just a few hours from the time I uploaded the documents to the moment when I received an email that I was verified.

My withdrawal is still in progress after a few hours, we will see how long it will take.

By the way, congratulations on hitting that multiplier I’ve never gotten something that high before since I started gambling.

Thanks! I had a crazy evening, after this hit I played only with $2-$3 bets. I had some good hits with these bets as well, but nothing over x200... Smiley

@iv4n, how do you compare this site to like Starbets and Betfury? Is there a daily dividend you also get?

I made a deposit and got really lucky:

Just 24% more to finish the wagering requirements:

It's a different system:

By wagering, we get WEFT tokens (current price $0.015), and we can stake them as you can see in the image. From that, we get more WEFT tokens. I think I am still far away from checking the next part:

Quote
At the end of the holding period, you will get multiplied tokens. Hold them again or withdraw to your casino balance at any time.

BTCGosu Weiss Casino Review

Since they have a BTCGosu review I decided to give them a try!

Welcome to the Forum!

the website looks good and from the looks of it, your gambling site has been operating for several years now(based on your domain). I was curious and wanted to try what the "daily spins" were about but I am kind of reluctant to register since I need to put my birthdate and number to register. anyway, AB de Royse777 gave you some tips on how to properly make an ANN thread that will gain more attention on the forum.

just a suggestion, I think it will be good for your website to have a dark theme UI, a color-sentivie UI can make a lot of difference in attracting gamblers.

When it comes to "daily spins". With a higher level we can get more WEFT tokens  & higher limits, from lvl 7 and above just more WEFT tokens:

Royse always has good advice that is worth following up on. I also agree with you about the theme, I like darker themes more, but in that case, the site would be completely like FairSpin. I mean now they look the same, but with the same colors, it would be like copy/paste.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Viewpoint of a fan gambling on: February 01, 2024, 09:40:30 AM
I want to find out if there are individuals like me. What percentage of the gamblers in Bitcointalk are wagering and not wagering to their dearest star player, club and team?

Well, I can place a bet against my favorite team/player, but I am not a hardcore fan. There are teams and players I like more than others, but everyone loses so if I think they will lose I will bet against them.

But I know some hardcore fans who never bet against their teams/players. My colleague is a huge fan of Partizan Club, so he is betting on Partizan on every basketball and football game, he bets even when the odds are pretty high and just says that he supports his club no matter what. Of course, sometimes when he is confident in their win he places some higher bets, when he plays against the odds and common sense he places some small bets. Maybe it's hard to understand it, but there are some pretty crazy fans that are ready to do anything for their club.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your multi-bet (paroli) strategy? on: February 01, 2024, 07:56:03 AM
Is it Paroli or Parlay? I've been into gambling for a while now but this is my first reading about Paroli. I checked the definition and it's not the same as what you're saying.
They meaning same thing just that people with different country calls it very term but from what I can find out they mean same thing as the op is correct. However, it could be very hard for strategy to work perfectly since gambling is periodically on a luck and I don't think if any other strategy could be implemented to work perfectly fine without being a probability states.
Otherwise single bets is more easier and possible to win, the probability of winning single bet is very high than that of multiple bet as parlay.

Yogee is right, Paroli and Parlay are two different things.

Paroli strategy is when you double your bet after every win, after 3 wins you return to your initial stake, or after every loss. You can read more about Paroli here: Popular Strategies.

Parlay bets are made up of two or more wagers. They are a way of combining individual bets into one.

So, anyone else here playing with multi-bets? Any strategies?

I like to chase goals... so my parlays are usually about goals, over or under, and both teams to score or not. I don't watch so much my final multi, I am rather focused on finding the right games, so if I think there will be more goals I will include that game whatever the odds may be.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable? on: January 31, 2024, 08:41:38 PM
Considering your capital of less than $2500, crypto investments might offer more flexibility and potential for diversification. Cryptocurrencies can be traded in smaller amounts, allowing you to explore various assets. However, real estate investments, while potentially more stable, might require a larger initial capital. Both options have their pros and cons.

I think you're overestimating how much real estate one can buy with $2500. In a first world country that's literally nothing. Maybe you can buy a patch of land, maybe a small part of the forest or a part of a field... I own some land and even 10k will not buy you a land you can build on. All you can get for that is agricultural real estate that which can be a good idea since I know people who buy small patches here and there, hoping that somebody will build a factory or a warehouse and need that patch, in which case they'll be willing to pay more than the price it goes for.
I'd choose bitcoin in almost any situation. The only one where I'd buy real estate over bitcoin is if I had a lot of bitcoin and needed to diversify.

If someone can take a look at the city plans and where some companies/roads will pass it's like you hit a jackpot. Some people who live near me made a fortune by buying properties near the graveyard... Graveyards are expanding as well, but it's easier if someone knows in which direction.

I agree with Dark here, I would buy some real estate over BTC only if I have a bunch of Bitcoin and I need to diversify. But when it's enough? I guess for some of us owning more BTC is more important than owning some real estate.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Confusion About Insider Gambling on: January 31, 2024, 07:18:13 PM
Aren't team news, injuries, and other match details usually openly available on the internet and through sports bookies for gamblers to use when placing bets?. Also, do these officials typically place their bets through sports bookies or among themselves?

Some information is available to everyone and some are not. The word "insider" says everything we need to know, someone knows much more than what is written in official announcements. Often such information can be crucial in deciding odds and in the outcome of the game itself. Why are athletes banned from betting on their games? One of the reasons is because they know a lot. Just imagine a player who knows other players, does someone owe someone a lot of money or a favor, is someone in a very bad state because of anything... Nice reading about it:
https://www.gosubetting.com/blog/betting-news/hockey-lessons-learnt-from-shane-pintos-suspension/

Insiders can't place bets by themselves, they risk a lot if they get exposed. They can be fined and banned from playing a sport for years, or even forever.

397  Economy / Gambling / Re: Most Popular Cryptocurrencies in Online Casinos | Research January 2024 on: January 31, 2024, 05:06:06 PM
Hey everyone!

The research has been updated.

Thanks for this one, I like this kind of stats. Bitcoin is still on top, followed by Ethereum and Litecoin, I guess there's no surprise about that... they still hold their positions. I am also not surprised to see BNB going up on the list, fast and cheap transactions are doing their thing. But I am surprised that Bitcoin Cash holds the position...

Well, this is a nice research. I guess that the first three will keep their position in the upcoming years, but for sure we will see some changes from 4-10 place.
398  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: January 31, 2024, 04:07:51 PM
Is this what it looks like?

The display is good. Users in my opinion will get the best experience.

It looks pretty cool, I like how they designed the home page. I see they have a lot of games, there are some competitions, and the NFT offer is pretty crazy, that is becoming pretty popular.

So far there are no bonuses as far as I could see. It would be nice if there was some promo deposit bonus with a low rollover, that would definitely attract me to try MetaWin casino. Will there be any shortly?
399  Other / Off-topic / Re: Before you start gambling, do some research first on: January 30, 2024, 09:27:52 PM
He have gotten used to this way because he started gambling all by himself and he won some money but end up even fuelling his addiction. What is next? Any tip?

You can't help someone who doesn't want help. I mean you can try it, but you will probably annoy that person and yourself. The real question is how close are you with that person, if you are close and you think he will pay attention to your words then you can try to talk with him about his life goals and what he expects from life if he continues with the same path. If you two are close maybe he we listen, but if you are not close with him then talking is in vain, and you will probably make a problem and he will start hating you. Some people don't like to hear the truth, and they don't like people who tell the truth.

I am not sure how important this person is in your life, but if it's not much, I would tell you not to interfere in his life. Maybe it's his choice and you should respect that. If you don't respect it then he will just move even further away from you.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: stop the unnecessary blame on gambling whenever you get unlucky on: January 30, 2024, 08:07:14 PM

When it comes to the "blame game" it's always easier to blame everything and anything else than accepting the blame on yourself. But that game ends once we grow up and take responsibility for our actions.

Gambling has been seen as a very dangerous thing...

And gambling can be a very dangerous thing for people who don't understand how easily they can lose everything they have. I mean, it's again about responsible gambling, but we know that some people are not responsible and for those people, gambling can be a very dangerous thing. As I said many times, it's all fun & games as long as we gamble with money we can afford to lose, but when people start playing with amounts they can't afford to lose the problems will start. The more they lose bigger the problems will be. In the end, they can blame anyone but the blame will be on them.

So the point of the story should be simple, play with the money you can afford to lose. Only like that you can relax and have fun while playing some of your favorite games.
