I've just talked to John. Mike is aware of the issues now and is working on it. They've been busy with PhenixEx related business, John is going to make an exciting announcement soon Wink

O look a minion spewing crap again.

All they need to do is update their sexcoin client to solve one of the glaring issues.

That probably isn't true, because there seems to be problems with other coins. The SXC client shouldn't effect any other coin.
If there is a problem, it would only exist if they are using 0.6.3.0. They are probably using 0.6.3.1 which will not have any effect until block 155000, so there is more than enough time for them to update, if they haven't already.

They have recieved information regarding the new client by e-mail, PM, and forum posts.

The truth is unless you are sitting looking at the code, and understand it, you can't assume what the problem is, and even if you are and do, you can't give a solid time to institute a fix. I have substanticial funds on PhenixEX, I'm not panicking because there's no pressing need to move them and I can still trade.

I can understand fustration of not being able to move funds in, or out but the only course of action is to be patient and allow the operators to react to the situation as best they can.

So if miners don't update to the newest client for Sexcoin, are they fucked? LOL

~BCX~

If they are using 0.6.3.0, they'll slowly be starved of nodes and that could happen anytime.. Don't blame us, that was the original code, probably written by a "coin creation" service, because the original dev couldn't even do a linux compile on a linux box, that we have been trying to rectify.. We could have created a new coin without all the drama, but does the world need yet another alt?. So we went up against it, and tried to rescue a coin that might actually be useful in the real world.

0.6.3.1 was our version of the same code, with everything we could fix without a hardfork.

Our initial plan was to release a new client while we were "under the radar" and not on an exchange, but we were listed before we had finished coding a new client, so have had to rush out a release ..

So, yes, they need to upgrade from 0.6.3.1, and do it quickly, or they are fucked, if they are solo miners. All pools have upgraded.
