I prefer buying ETH rather than EOS because the latter had already gained popularity and have big numbers of community that will surely help each other, developer-wise it's proven already in the crypto world though it is struggling lately but it manages to bounce and keep alive again. |

Yes there are bounty managers that really not updating the spreadsheet and even it is noted on the thread that the spreadsheet will be seen after the bounty is ending but it doesn't mean that this is not a good project and bounty managers as well maybe this is a strategy for some reason, I know who they are and I truly believed them.

It occurred to me today that with the market in this fragile state bounty hunters could end up ruining bounties and having this opportunity closed off to them in the future if the dumping continues as soon as the tokens are released and an exchange begins trading. The coins just cannot handle the dump at this time with the market so low and everyone so timid. The projects will find a different means of promotion as paying us in their tokens will no longer be an option as it would harm the project to much.
Thoughts?
Shit ICO is the one ruining bounties and a contributory factor of the recent deep, hunters immediately sell their token if there is already an exchange, they grab the opportunity when the token has listed in a certain exchange because it is seldom to have due to overload scam ICO. |

I think this is the bottom that we've been waiting for. I called before the higher price as the bottom but I'm wrong on it so I guess this can be the final bottom that we are still unsure of.
Yes I agree, sometimes we need any kind of correction in order to buy coins that are in the bottom, though it is risky but if you are already prepared for this then as for this moment you have already gaining profit if you buy ETH at it's lowest. |

Why is the market constantly falling?
When does it recover? I think ICO"S begin to dump their token in many exchanges that is why the volume of supply is high which is inversely to demand to result in the dropping of the price of altcoins especially ETH which is the most ICO's base coin, it can be a kind of manipulation done by ICO because they know that if they dump their token, there is an instant correction so probably a buyback is their goal. |

When the worst scenario start bursting the treasures in my portfolio, it shattered my belief about crypto and even came to decide in selling my coins but that was a long time ago when I was more likely a noob in this world. ETH is not about to pop right now but gradually pulling back from getting very deep, maybe if all ICO's `will no longer dump their ETH then probably it is about to pop. It was really oversold from the raising fund of ICO's token sale dumping their millions of ETH to the exchanges that make ETH price to collapse.

Everything seems to indicate that the market is mortally wounded, and the main cryptocurrency that had served as a means of payment for those who participate in bounties (ethereum), has lost the confidence of investors and developers who are looking for new alternatives to face the lack of capital willing to take risks in this market. Therefore, it is likely that the bounty hunters will have to settle for peanuts as of this year.
And now, when after three or six months of participating in campaigns you are compensated with tokens without any value and you realize that this business is dead, what are you going to do, bounty hunter?

Based on what I observed in the current market, Ethereum is the crypto in the market that is down 90% in his All-time High, based on my research this happened because of the ICO under Ethereum blockchain, all of this ICO dump their Ethereum to fund their project, and some of this ICO are Scam projects, let's say 90%, so what will happen to all the Eth they received from Investors? dump! after the dump this guys exit scam, my prediction is we can see a $50 Ethereum this year or maybe $20, but $20 is highly unlikely to happen.
I think your point of view is right everything that happens in Ethereum is mostly a massive dumping of holders especially ICO, since many ICO had been backing up by ETH, therefore, is a big stock of it in different ICO, to support the project in existence in the market they need fund for it. |

Crypto manipulation of the market is legal which is the big risk on this industry because it is a decentralized system not like the stock exchange. No one control the crypto market that is why any company, individual with wealth that can invest huge amount or group of people can possibly manipulate to inflate and diflate the price of market at anytime.
Not like in stocks exchange as according to Investopedia.com. "Manipulation is the act of artificially inflating or deflating the price of a security or otherwise influencing the behavior of the market for personal gain. Manipulation is illegal in most cases, but it can be difficult for regulators and other authorities to detect."
What is your opinion about this matter? Is there a way to control these manipulators?
Manipulation is illegal in most cases but in crypto, because of a decentralized environment, manipulators had freely done their business in manipulating the pump and dump crypto price, even we don't like it but they the best weapon to manipulate all things which are money and that is a reality. |

There is no better crypto to hold for now rather than Bitcoin and ETH though the latter is suffering a very big dip but we all know that ETH has a wide range of community that will support them, so this dip is not for the long-term, it can bounce back in the coming days, while Bitcoin, on the other hand, is really good for long term no doubt for it.

This is the market! Demand creates supply. And here everything is possible! 100 dollars is quite achievable goal. But do not forget about the creator of ETH. I hope that Vitalik and his team will solve the problem of network scalability .. Then there will be only demand.
I think this is not about the network scalability problem because every altcoin is experiencing the current situation and Vitalik and his team could not solve this problem, dumping is the main factor for this, many keepers are selling their ETH to prevent a bigger loss that is why supply is in bulk. |

I don't know if this company can be successful with this kind of payment or not. But I believe that this company will be punished by the government cause as I know there is no country has clearly rule for taxes for BTC or any cryptocurrencies income so this is also a kind of tax evasion.
Yeah I agree with you that until now if the company still in their process of giving salary through in Bitcoin form but they have a sort of arrangement regarding the volatility of the coin but I disagree with you regarding the tax evasion because the OP said that the company are having an arrangement through their tax deduction, it just a matter of both parties approval to pursue the different strategy. |

What for you is the safest and most reliable altcoin that any beginners of cryptocurrency can buy and invest in to? Because bitcoin is unpredictable I wonder if I can start buying altcoins instead, however, I do not want to buy an altcoin that will just be a waste of money. Any ideas?
I think the safest are those coins that doing great for a long time, probably coins that top ten in the list of market cap, I won't try another new at this bearish period because it might take a big risk for my investment, take a little cooldown as the market is in wobble. |
