381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall below $5,500. on: October 18, 2017, 02:55:48 PM
There is absolutely nothing wrong with a healthy pullback, nothing should go up in a parabolic straight line forever.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currencies In South Africa on: October 18, 2017, 02:55:01 PM
I believe sooner or later, Cryptos are going to be in every country and widely used. It is only a matter of time. The benefits are massive.
383  Other / Meta / Re: I can't stand the capcha for this site on: October 18, 2017, 02:54:21 PM
hahah, I've always had issues with this. Sometimes it seems to just keep going and going.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling, But don't worry! on: October 18, 2017, 02:52:57 PM
There is nothing wrong with a healthy pullback, nothing goes parabolic forever. Nothing.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: October 17, 2017, 02:35:14 PM
Saving in a diversified portfolio for your kids is an amazing thing to do, and one that could make them incredibly wealthy one day, due to the power of compounding and time. BTC is part of that portfolio for me.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cash on: October 17, 2017, 02:34:16 PM
A lot of people are simply "cashing" out and buying normal BTC with them. Do whatever you like tho in the end. The choice is yours.
387  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how to break teenage video game addiction on: October 16, 2017, 03:34:52 PM
It truly has become a near epidemic within our societies. The fact is, people naturally choose the path of least resistance. This allows them to become an arch type hero in "their" world. When in reality, it is meaningless.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: What would it take to convince a billionaire to on: October 16, 2017, 03:33:36 PM
This is not how Billionaires think, they are constantly changing their stance and positions, this is how they have come out on top. If one did however, holy cow, it could be epic.  Cheesy
389  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN misconceptions on: October 16, 2017, 03:32:39 PM
It is truly stunning the amount of people who THINK they understand BTC, but have actually NO idea what it is, or its value.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin = dotcom bubble? on: October 16, 2017, 03:32:00 PM
I could see how many people would make this comparison, however bitcoin is vastly different. I do not like the near parabolic rise tho, for the long term health of bitcoin. I hope we are not going to burn a massive portion of community, forever turning them off.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto Currency is making people millionaires all over the world on: October 16, 2017, 03:30:55 PM
no, not all!

what you see is the price going up, but that does not mean people are becoming millionaires because of it.
although many have been and will continue to make profit but there will always also be a lot of others who will always continue to chase their own tails.

we have seen multiple times, people who buy on top then panic sell after things turn a little grey for their taste. like when price went above $4000 the first time, they waited and waited until price was on top and then bought at $4700+ and when the correction began they waited and waited and panic sold at $3500.

the market filled with panic sellers will only have some millionaires who become that because of the panic sellers Wink

Unfortunately, this is the nature of mankind and the markets. Fear of losing, is much greater than the joy of winning. There are whole books in the gambling community dedicated to this.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Booms in Evolving Markets on: October 16, 2017, 03:29:21 PM
This is something that I am shocked to see taking so long. Bitcoin is an ideal currency in many of these countries and I am surprised that it hasn't been even more widespread. For example Bitcoin is vastly superior to the high fees of Western Union.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Does Government Affect The Price of Bitcoin if they Support it ? on: October 16, 2017, 03:28:18 PM
Obviously, as we have seen throughout bitcoins history. This can have a HUGE impact on the short term price of Bitcoin and altcoins. However, it is very hard, as governments admit to fully regulate this marketplace.
394  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Real friends. on: October 11, 2017, 07:29:57 PM
I've learned that throughout life, there are very very few friends you will keep in touch with forever. However, those few that do, become even closer to you than your family itself. You can not see these people for years and once you do, you pick right up where you left off. Its an amazing thing to experience.
395  Other / Off-topic / Re: Future of Technology ?? on: October 11, 2017, 07:28:20 PM
This is the glory of the free market. Competition is pushing these innovations. It is going to be crazy to see what we have in 20 years.
396  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Surges Above $4900 Amid Catalan 'Independence' Declaration on: October 11, 2017, 07:27:13 PM
Its absolutely stunning to look at these charts. Remember, nothing goes up in a straight line forever however. Tread with caution.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: October 11, 2017, 07:26:32 PM
I am a strong believe in the auto pilot, dollar cost averaging method. Buy the same amount month over month, then you don't need to worry about the highs and the lows.
398  Economy / Economics / Re: each state will create its own token? on: October 11, 2017, 07:25:55 PM
I think that this is a possibility and as a STRONG advocate of a free money competition based system, I'm all for it. The best will remain, the rest will vanish.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying for citizenship using Bitcoins! on: October 11, 2017, 07:24:15 PM
That is ABSOLUTELY amazing! And very cool.  Grin
400  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be 10k in the next 6-10 months! on: October 11, 2017, 07:23:51 PM
This is a possibility, but there is also a strong chance, that it may pull back in a meaningful way also, before heading higher again.
