What is if a nother dev would like to participate in the nxt projekt, would BCNext give him the source code, or will he be the only possibel dev until jan 03 ?
He didn't want to give me the complete source. All I got were some pieces like vanity generator. Hmmm, ok...that is sad  ....I just thoght about maybe it would be nice to get some nxt investors together and every investor donates to a fund for a dev....this way we could get all those bugs rid a lott faster Another rambling nonsense idea: may I know how are we supposed to employ some more devs in place to get rid of the bugs faster, when the codes will only be published after 3rd of January 2014  (that is a must, since some dudes just got ready to make a fast copy cat clone of this too, I could smell it) Anyway: continue your spamming! |

I predict that price will go down a little but after the decentralized exchange is launched and ppl see a lot of opportunities for new business models the price will skyrocket. Yes this is true. There are some few guys who are trying to sell big chunks but most of the people are holding and waiting With the arrival of decentralized exchange and colored coins enabled, the price will get some jump for sure! Still I am desiring to sell and distribute 5% of my stake to people interested to buy, as we need more mining nodes to secure the network, but I won't sell at a price less than 0.000001 for sure! Noitev was the first guy who promised to open the google doc and manage it. Pouncer, you may pm him and see if he could do it or not. For escrow help, the best thing to start from, is to get the help of some known people who have previous escrow backing history in btt community. While appreciate your readiness to help escrow the coming trades, but we first need some known faces to provide the initial escrows for the sake of safety. Then we can add some more volunteers by asking them to back up their escrow service by putting some BTC in reserve! Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303898.0 is the first pure POS coin and was launched yesterday 24/11/2013. Nxt uses brand new software, it’s not a fork of Bitcoin source code. Nxt improves different features of Bitcoin, removes some disadvantages (e.g. bloated blockchain) and resolves a big environmental issue. Mining is 100% proof-of-stake, Coins are earned solely by charging transaction fees. Time between blocks is one minute. Also the colored coin feature for p2p security exchange has been natively coded in a decentralized format into the Nxt platform and will come along in a few days too! This thread is opened by me (a Nxt stake-holder) to inform and project the state of available bounties supplied by stake-holders donations, to get some projects done by the community in a competitive rewarding manner. Each bounty has an initial deadline but the period could be prolonged if it seem necessary. I created this thread as a self-moderated one, to keep the focus on the bounty projects. Nice thread Pouncer Sure you need some help, perhaps people who are ready to help could pm you or post here to let you know! In general it is much wiser if people try to not trade very big chunk of coins at once in a single trade. A good solution is to divide the trade amount into smaller parts and do the trade several times instead! Also one very important point: if there is a bid or ask offer which gets matching by someone but the initial poster and owner of that offer do not answer or react to the matching trade request for a while, that posted offer should be void and removed from the order book (two or three days deadline) until the poster guy come back and renew his offer again! (this is to avoid fake non-real bid or ask offers) |

Let's wait when BCNext fix found bugs. ok, but we need to extend the login screen, explaining the brainwallet. otherwise we will have many users with simple phrases just for a test and wondering why the account has coins or more worse why they are gone. if users stating that nxt-coins are not safe to hold, you won't get back the trust easily. hear me now and believe me later...I don't get why you are doing this, but what you ask for should naturally be covered in a wiki (which arafel started today, you can help him too) Initial bugs are usual.. I am not saying everything is alright with Nxt, yes we may wake up tomorrow and see a crucial bug that fucks everything has been found, but unless such a thing has occurred, no need to scream.. Yes some people may lose their coins, yes some kids may be lost on the way from school to home. Is that the fault of Nxt or the school or the home!?! |

A giveaway thread giving 100 Nxt per user for 1000 users would also create momentum. Only 1x per BTT account, and the account must have at least 20 posts.
In the Mastercoin Giveaway people should promote the project to get' em - I think we should use it too (but not so strict rules, maybe only a reference in signature etc). That's the way I am trying to go after, as I explained four or five times in my previous posts in this thread too. I ll apply mastercoin founder approach of giving away (with some minor modifications) to push spreading the word and popularity of Nxt. People will post the link of what they did to advertise Nxt+ an account id. number. I will review new posts every 3 days once and award posters some coins proportionally to the effectiveness of their effort. But I won't be running it for a long time and we need volunteers to continue running it after me (in a week or so). One guy already volunteered, but more help from you guys will be great for sure! |

I think it will be better to play on the safe side and get advantage of these 2-3 days for familiarisation & testing! I think we can wait a bit before start trading... Sure and yes, we should first try to recognize and report the bugs, and we all welcome such an exchange. Still an internal buy/sell thread won't hurt and may add some more momentum (extra trade volume) too. It would be free, but yes, it needs more trusted escrow help. (in any case my advise is not to trade a very big chunk of coins here or there for a week or two) Pouncer will open that thread and you can add your bid or ask there for reference. I ll open the bounty and giveaway thread tomorrow morning! Where will you find the coins for this? No time to read upthread! I am interested in providing escrow too and some coins for the givewaway... One guy donated 4M Nxt and I am sure we can receive more donations from other stake holders in future (I ll donate some myself in continuation, if it gets good feedback) I plan to spend them in a more advertising way (you remember dacoinminster way of giveaway for sure) to help spread the word of Nxt and also spend a part for pushing bounties to get important things done (video-article-chineese translation...) Okay I went out for a walk and now I see a lot of posts among which some few nice points and bug reports came up.. I made 2 or 3 transactions after the launch and it proceeded well and quickly and everything looked alright at my end.. didn't try mining, may try it tonight! Some news: 1-Pouncer will open a Buy/Sell thread soon, so people can go there and put their bid or ask offers, a google docs page is attached to project the spread in a table+ an escrow request form is added, let's hope we get more trusted escrow guys there to help processing the future deals. 2-I am waiting for a guy to start the giveaway thread and manage the bounty pool as well, but if he doesn't show up, I may start the giveaway thread tomorrow morning and post the bounty thread as well. Anyway I won't run it for a long time, perhaps one week to show another volunteer guy about how to do it. I am just a stake holder like you, so instead of spamming this thread, please move your ass, come ahead and help! Wish Nxt success and all of us wealth |
