A big glowing button that will reset your modem and router whenever the internet goes down. Or it does it for you if you don't press the button for a while.
The Internet Button.[/url]

Make it reinstall windows whenever I push it and you've got yourself a customer.

Haha That is a pretty good idea too.

I had my XFX fan fail on me and they just sent me a cooler from a dead card they had. Very nice.

Things are slow. People sign up then never sell anything.  Undecided

Actually develoment of native and optimised ARM miner is a must for various reasons.

1) Raspberry PI at $25
2) Rhombus-Tech will be offering a AllWinner A10 board for $15 (easily twice as fast as Raspberry)
3) Mali is already supporting Directx11, OpenCL and DC on its new gpus for mobile cpus.

This.

Same minus the bitcoins thing.

Andy tweeted me back and said he's gonna ask the nerds to look into Bitcoin since he didn't know what it was. I told him he wouldn't have to give PayPal fees.

For those not in the know The Bugle is an incredibly funny podcast done by Andy Zaltzman and John Oliver of Daily Show fame (The Love Guru infamy). They were recently fired by the Times Online and have taken the podcast with them. They are doing it for free now but are asking for support on their website, thebuglepodcast.com #SaveTheBugle has become a popular hashtag on the tweets and I have suggested on their a few times that they should accept Bitcoin donations. No reply so far. Perhaps if we have a pile of bitcoins already donated they would be more interested. I have setup a donation bucket and if you make a donation post a tweet about it to @hellobuglers and tag it #SaveTheBugle.

The donation address is:  1ETB5moU8dRsG8t9XVyNiSXfs4Bvfbqyio

I have sent 1 BTC to it to get started.

EDIT: The movie is Midnight Express, Serge. NIN, I think, is Nine Inch Nails.

I love the Chase theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Akyx5iu_z8Y), by Giorgio Moroder, from this movie.

Yes, this story does seem a bit old-fashioned in the 21st century, doesn't it Grin

Past century:

Delicious.
393  Economy / Services / Re: Why is Operation Fabulous stagnating? on: January 18, 2012, 01:11:59 AM
I think it's because you have to make specific bids for specific sites and always check to see if you've been outbid. It needs to have more automated options like google adwords or a banner exchange.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTCinch.com Shuts Down on: January 17, 2012, 01:23:55 AM
not viable in the US? wasn't it a bit-pay clone? i thought they were doing okay.

Honestly, I don't think that there are many people buying things with bitcoins. These services charge a relatively small fee so they need more than just a handful of transactions per day to make it worth it.

well yeah, but what expenses would they have had? if it's a one-man programming show, all it takes is $0.?? in hosting fees and a supply of caffeine.

BitBid runs on crack.

396  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER miner overclock monitor fanspeed RPC in C linux/windows/osx 2.1.2 on: January 16, 2012, 10:26:01 AM
I'm not getting any better performance, just higher temps and snarky support. Back to phoenix I go, where my card runs full out without melting.
397  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER miner overclock monitor fanspeed RPC in C linux/windows/osx 2.1.2 on: January 16, 2012, 09:27:33 AM
CG does make an extra 4Mh/s, but if the 'price to pay' is an extra 5.5C, then it's kinda.. not worth it.
Okay, I'll bite... why?

All that extra heat is coming from somewhere. Since I believe in the laws of physics I would have to say it is using more electricity. The heat isn't coming through my internet tubes. It also reduces the lifespan of my video cards.
398  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER miner overclock monitor fanspeed RPC in C linux/windows/osx 2.1.2 on: January 16, 2012, 05:18:47 AM
My GPU temps went up 5C when I switched from phoenix to CGminer. Any reason for this?
399  Bitcoin / Pools / p2pool - Decentralized, Absolutely DoS-Proof, Pool Hopping-Proof Pool [archival] on: January 16, 2012, 02:56:58 AM
CGminer and phoenix show that they are mining bitcoin but P2pool isn't showing any hashrate or shares. Merged mining with namecoins keeps giving me getauxblock errors and litecoin with p2pool gives me a json-rpc error.

I just switched 3 miners over. Going to see how this works.
