October Development Updatehttp://syscoin.org/syscoin-october-development-update/We’ve been hard at work on Syscoin 2.1 and Blockmarket M1, we wanted to provide the community with an update since there is a lot going on internally but it may seem quiet from the outside. So here are some updates since our last blog post: We are now listed on Bittylicious. Bittylicious is an exchange in UK for purchasing cryptocurrencies via bank or credit card. They are especially known for their simple interface and quick process. This is a big step for SYS (Syscoin’s Ticker Symbol) as Bittylicious represents our first gateway for enabling users to move directly from fiat to SYS. Check out Bittylicious ( https://bittylicious.com) and grab some SYS today! Next, we’ve followed Bitcoin’s lead and are now on Transifex for translating our wallet to different language locales through crowdsourcing. We ask that anyone who’s interested in helping, please visit our project site on transifex.com and click “Help Translate Syscoin” to join. ( https://www.transifex.com/blockchain-foundry-inc/syscoin). As mentioned in previous posts, the Syscoin 2.1 update will be a mandatory update. Standard procedure for a mandatory update involves contacting mining pools and exchanges to make sure they update, a process we’re very good at but it does involve a significant amount of time and effort to coordinate successfully. Because of this overhead when making major beneficial changes to the platform, we try to pack in as many features, fixes, and upgrades as possible. After careful consideration, and noting the above, we decided to rebase Syscoin 2.1 from Bitcoin 0.12 to Bitcoin 0.13. This follows the ethos we announced when Syscoin 2.0 was first launched- Syscoin will be constantly merging in updates from the Bitcoin core as it progresses and improves; and this is us putting that statement into action. We noted that the Hierarchical Deterministic Key Generation feature included in 0.13 is definitely something our alias identity platform can leverage. This rebase contains 866 changed files with 12,441 additions and 2,977 deletions, so we are very cautious testing thoroughly through the code merge. Furthermore, we’ve heard the community asking if we can escrow bitcoin transactions in addition to Syscoin transactions. We dwelled on the idea, and based on the potential we see with this feature, decided to also add this functionality to Syscoin 2.1. This means that we will support bitcoin-escrow in Syscoin 2.1. Even with the large number of code changes in this update, our release target is still Q4 2016 for both Syscoin 2.1 and Blockmarket M1. We have further news on Blockmarket M1’s progress and MS Certification as well which we’ll share in a separate post from Blockchain Foundry. It’s something we’re very excited about as it will mean a fundamental change in how users experience the Syscoin wallet across different platforms. It aims at making the experience and access to the marketplace not only easier, but also consistent across a wide variety of platforms with room for extensions by the developer community as well! TL:DR: We are rebasing Syscoin 2.1 from Bitcoin 0.12 to Bitcoin 0.13, keeping up with BTC core dev as promised when 2.0 launched. SYS 2.1 and Blockmarket M1 on track for Q4 2016. Separate post on BlockchainFoundry blog next week about Blockmarket progress. All excellent news. Thanks for keeping us informed, as usual, and, thanks for all the work you are putting into this project. Success is a thing that is earned, not found, good job.

any updates on this coin? i love SYS and i hold but would like to hear more the price really deep now but good opportunity to hold more and earn in return for sure. No worries. It goes down every time they post an update, opportunity to buy more sys is coming Question: Do you have any SYS? If you do then, why continue to trash your own investment? If you don't, well, thats a different matter entirely. I do have of course. I am not trashing anything, you cannot trash a good project with constructive criticism like mine (I hope). I am pointing out unprofessional actions that in return affect the price of syscoin. Announcement of setting up the company is a perfect example. Uncertanity with 2.1 is another. Inability to communicate properly with the community is next. So I'd rather hear: good job l3sny, go on! Sorry, you won't be hearing that. If you really cared, you would use private messaging to inform the team of things YOU consider an issue instead of public posting. That would be constructive, as opposed to the destructive nature of your comments.

98% of people in the crypto world dont know about Bitbay and about its decentralised market and pegging. When people start to see what it does it will rocket to a top 15 coin for sure!
I like to keep myself in the know about all coins & their dev world and projects and see Bitbay as a must for any portfolio at the moment.
Old hype is past, don't dream any more. Bitbay is dead, dev raised 2500 btc for fun, house, car Get a life would ya! We are WAY past all that crap and Bay is doing well. Also, your information is incorrect. If you want to know what really happened, then do a little research, or, is that too much trouble?

The 'add coin' form has been filled in about 5 - 10 times by community members in the last 12 months, so they are aware of it or have considered it. They must have decided that we dont have enough volume maybe
That's where the irony comes in, if we WERE on Polo, we WOULD have enough volume!

Distinct lack of patience here on BCT.

sys is getting lower and lower the developers are cheating the investors.Where is 2.1? Be careful about making unsupported accusations in public. Oh no, this is not cheating or anything. This is just lack of professionalism, no marketing strategy, no PR and probably some other bad decision. Perhaps we will hear now an explanation of the situation with 2.1 to the community and what to expect. Why would you market something that is not finished? Now THAT would be a bad decision. Give 'em time, Rome wasn't built in a day and neither was Bitcoin.

notice the array of sock puppets turning up??
people are getting worried about bay...
David why could you not trace these old hoarding scammers wallets and nuke them? parasitic scum that they are. Not only stole 100s of BTC but got millions of BAY for nothing.
Well, considering how much negative PR it was for Ethereum to revert their bug, I think nuking their wallets could backfire. Personally I like the idea but the hard core coin enthusiasts will argue against centralized maneuvers. ETC "Classic" was such a monkey wrench for ETH and I'm not sure they will ever recover from that. They might but it causes tons of confusion to new buyers. Also it would be difficult to prove which wallets were theirs... perhaps freeze them until they identify themselves or carefully track it, however there is a lot involved in that. Our slack group seems to have a good idea of who owns what. Consider that anywhere from 30-60% of Bitcoins are stolen from exchanges or government seizure or escrow failure. Not to mention "Satoshis wallet" who nobody seems to know who owns it. So considering that, its probably just best to build a good coin. A lot of their coins have been bought by the core team already too. Our distribution is actually pretty good compared to other coins. All very good points. Yes, best to just let things go. Hopefully they have sold most of their bay trying to destroy the project early on. I remember they drove the price down to 18 sats at one point. The thing that bothers me the most is that these guys continue to pull their scams on others and there is no mechanism to stop it. I remember the day David made the first post about the group and what had transpired. Not a pretty thing after buying from the ICO and honestly, until I researched the issue, I wasn't sure who to trust. It didn't take long to figure that out however and the rest is history but, it still amazes me how people can pull off blatantly illegal stunts, with no consideration for the people who are being hurt, and not suffer the consequences. At least not in THIS life...

Is it possible that Wormhole Event won't occur during one of epoch?
Could you specify Block Rewards Table. It doen't match current situation. It's 31 epoch block reward should be 16 EMC2(according to the table), but it is only 8 EMC2 in fact
Wormholes don't appear in every epoch. They are more like once a month averaged. Alas, yes we will update OP, it sure needs sprucing up. It's a cumulative effort, I need a couple of things done to justify spending time updating OP which might change shortly after. What is the current wallet version?

We're still targeting the release of both Syscoin 2.1, and Blockmarket M1 within Q4 2016. We've been adding more features to Syscoin 2.1 (like BTC escrow, amongst many others) which is why things got delayed a bit, as these would be forking changes it made sense to add them now rather than wait and incur the overhead of an additional hard fork/mandatory update.
We may be including a surprise in the Blockmarket M1 release geared toward making it an even larger success for both merchants and buyers. I'm not going to go into any more detail than that as I'm not trying to create hype just explaining why some things have taken longer. These changes, along with forming a company (BlockchainFoundry) and working on our MS Certification took a bit more time than projected. We're still on track for delivering within Q4 2016.
As has been mentioned by other team members we are constantly working on this project, every day, trying to get to a release point as soon as possible. We take the development of Syscoin and our software development in general seriously and aren't going to release a half-baked product. We've got some key improvements and massive experience upgrades coming in this next release. We'll continue to keep the community updated as we have always done both here on in our Slack channel.
Thanks for that, makes sense to me. You have a lot of support here, rock on...

What's wrong with Einsteinium network? There were no block found for about a day) You can check this at Einsteinium explorer since Mon, 26 Sep 2016 10:20:18 GMT to Tue, 27 Sep 2016 09:30:07 GMT no blocks found.
EMC2 Suprnova pool also doesn't show correct statistics, and no payments for about day and a half
Any ideas what is going on? Any chance to obtain payment for that period?
Or better stop mining it while network has such issues
My wallet quit updating at "29 hours behind" yesterday. Bad block somewhere?

I wish we can hire Peter Todd. Didn't he invent it?. Can someone on Slack ask him what his rate is? https://twitter.com/petertoddbtcApplied Cryptography Consultant (what the cool kids call 'blockchain tech') PGP: 0x7FAB114267E4FA04, pete@petertodd.orgWhy would you want to do that? You already have a Dev who can do it, are you in a hurry? Being in a hurry and profiting from Crypto in the long run do not jive...

No coin swap was done, we are continuing on with Pandacoin as designed when we went full proof of stake. We have a rather low inflation rate, actually lower than the designed 2 1/2% since many Pandacoins have been lost and only proof of stake mining in your PandaBank or wallet will generate new Pandacoin. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/pnd/#@inflationOk, great. Glad to see activity, will there be future development? Oh well, wishful thinking I suppose...
