381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some ico failed on: July 11, 2018, 02:02:58 PM
have being studying some ico this year they are failing , what are the causes of there failure

There's a few factors why ico's fail. The team, the project and the community. Either the team is not committed enough to deliver the ico project, nor the project fail to deliver and have real usage or the coin/token was not widely accepted by community. And let's not forget that there are scam ico's which are bound to fail.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in the bright future of Crypto? on: July 11, 2018, 01:59:23 PM
I knew about crypto at the end of 2017, after a short time increase and make people crazy to invest, everything is down now. I'm not a trader, i'm just a holder, but i'm still afraid of the sign of market recently. Will everything be changed in next year? or several years later? Can i still invest in crypto?

I believe in crypto, a lot of coins will die but new coins will come and innovate and some strong ones with real use case will stay in the future.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teens in the crypto world on: July 11, 2018, 01:56:35 PM
We often are asking question whether we should educate youth and teach them crypto, but for my opinion if they are interested in they are able to educate themselves, even better then we are able to do.

Hear is an article that proves the theory: https://cointelegraph.com/news/teenager-who-hacked-ledger-hardware-wallet-says-devices-still-vulnerable-devs-deny

What do you think?

If they want to learn, then let them learn. I would like to introduce my kids when they are big enough to understand how crypto works. If they are interested, I'd be happy to navigate them and then let them do the rest.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge potential earnings in bitcoin, still not interesting for others on: July 10, 2018, 01:05:55 PM
As i began my journey through the world of cryptocurrency, it comes to my mind why other people are just ignoring the opportunities that bitcoin gives..

Can you give me some reasons why it's not that interesting for others?

Bitcoin is still young and people aren't used to it. And the price is very volatile and people aren't used to things they have little knowledge and control. But if you know how to adjust and study the market it really helps and very profitable.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fear for empty balance in future.. on: July 06, 2018, 11:36:15 PM
I am very afraid for my crypto balance. At present I have some coin.I brought this coin previous december month. But at this time my balance to become very small. So I feel fear for see empty balance in future.Any one can advice me now what i am doing. Will I sell or hold my coins?

There's no point in selling at the moment as alts are beaten up heavily. If you can manage to average down so you can get out of them earlier is better. Or trade other coins and put some profit into those coins that looks bottomed out, or almost at the bottom and keep buying small whenever you have btc so you can slowly average it down.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get rid of emotions when trading on: July 06, 2018, 11:24:08 PM
Our brain is hardwired to go into a fight or flight mode under stress, resulting in emotional responses like greed (taking too large risks), anger, fear (panic-closing) or fear of missing out. While this is a good thing when fighting lions in the savannah, it is a horrible thing when trading, and you need to make smart decisions and keep to your plan to keep making profits.
This topic will focus on how to get rid of emotions while trading, or at least make the best decisions which are not based on emotional responses of our ape brain. So how can we achieve that?

1 with good preparation
2 with checklists
3 with process orientation
4 with active emotional detachment

Good preparation:
If you watch a Football game or a Boxing match usually the team or player wins that has done the better preparation. The same goes with trading. Accumulate knowledge about the subjects of trading as much as possible. Start with small amounts and small leverages until you really know what you are doing. Be consistent, create good habits early on and keep them up. Make sure that you are mentally fit, live healthy, eat well, sleep enough and regularly, and exercise enough. Have a schedule. Track your preparation, track your results and analyse them. What were mistakes you could avoid in the future?

Checklists:
When things go down and away, it is always good to have a checklist. For example: surgeons usually have checklists that prevent them to go off the rails while performing a complicated procedure. Their checklists makes it absolutely clear in which order they need to perform what step, which frees up mental brain power for the actual process. So from your past make checklists what made your trades profitable and focus on those kind of trades that have done well in your past.

Process Orientation:
With the checklist, we should be able to make good trades more often than not. All we need to do now is focus our metal brain power on the process and not on the outcome. As we have built enough expertise and a checklist that we follow, we focus on rules and our discipline, not on the outcome of a single trade, because as we all know one trade can always be good or bad, independent of how well it was thought out.

Active emotional detachment:
There is something called Tilt in Poker. Some players will actively try to insult players after bad beats to make the go tilt, or "emotional". This will result in very bad decision making. Maybe you remember Zinedine Zidane in his very last World Cup Game, head butting the italian player and getting sent of the pitch with a red card. The worst possible outcome. TILT.
If you still feel like you get emotional about trades, there are a few things you can do: Lowering your margins, lowering your leverage, take a break, breathing exercises, watch your favorite series or listen to music. Get a little distance to your trades, before continuing. NEVER trade on TILT.

How are you dealing with your emotions? Anything to add or to take away from this?

I agree, before you trade you have to make a plan on what to do. Emotions are very hard to deal with, specially when losing money. That's why it's better not to trade when you are not 100 focus and not have a backup plan.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safety can not come to the bitcoin investor on: July 06, 2018, 03:39:10 PM
Safety can not come to the bitcoin investor. Nothing and absolutely safe. Everything has its own risk, its danger. No one knows what tomorrow will be like. Only know that if we do nothing then there is no danger nor money
riskrisk

No matter what you are investing in there is always a risk. Even if you put your money in the bank it is still a risk. Nothing is safe when you are investing. There is only higher or lower risk. Important thing is to know what you are investing in...

I like your project! Credible idea, seamless website, engaging website.
smart city eco is a very wonderful platform, their website looks very promising. and the fact that they have so many different uses in one platform is truly amazing! im really looking forward of being one of the gamers in this platform.
yup, so many uses in one amazing platform.smart city eco is a one to shop that offers us a reliable and efficient use of our internet. the concept of smart city eco is out of this world and i like how they have a online job portal this would help on the current unemployment rate in our community.

i think Smart city eco concept is more like lazada , a platform which business owners
can register their business to the platform so that it can be marketed and reach many possible buyers

its more like that way i guess but compare to lazada or alibaba, it also caters online games and online casino.

I found this on page 6 of YAPPADAPPADOO whitepaper and it is really interesting to know that YAPPADAPPADOO team promotes sharing of apps which is a good thing for people who have already purchased the applications. It will somehow create new friends and encourage everyone to be generous.

Quote
Users will love yappadappadoo, because they can access a universe of Progressive Web Applications. They can try out applications spontaneously and quickly. With Blockchain technology they can buy, use, and even transfer applications to other users.

Most Probably Progressive Web Apps (PWA) are the next big thing. I believe that they’ll push the mobile web forward, and bring native apps and provide mobile specific features to web users.

So on your whitepaper you are using Waves Blockchain, what is the difference of Waves on Ethereum Blockchain?? Is there any special feature that surpasses the ethereum blockchain?? Many company, projects and ICO was using Ethereum Blockchain, how you come up using waves blockchain??

well they stated a lot of advantages by using waves wallet you can see it on the first page,
anyways im also not a fan of waves ,i just hope this would be different.

While Progressive Web Apps capabilities are rapidly evolving, there are still somethings you can’t do yet.
i have read some article stating that there still things you cant do in PWAs ,there is no full screen mode and
its not as smooth as native apps.
One thing i also dont understand about this PWA. If their goal is to be advance and to lead the application world then why do they have the less good ones like lite version? And their applications also adapts to the older os of phones while newer OS has new applications already.

oh really maybe because this PWA technology is just on their introduction stage
there are things they cannot apply and need to develop.

Is multiple account on Oline Gaming is Tolerable or Allowed on the project? Many of the gamers around the world has their own accounts in a single gaming sites or area to use as backup accounts and "to be sold" account but is these kind of multiple account tolerable or allowed on the Online Gaming concept of your project. Personally I create a backup account on my gaming sites and area in case my account got hacked or lost.
I think it is not allowed on the project. First it can't be hack, mate because it is a blockchain itself. No one can hack up your account because of its own protection and privacy pattern unless you lost your account private ID or key. Second it is too hassle using two or more account on one game is to hard to imagine, imaging this, can you play the same game on the same time, I think it a no. Lastly it is useless, you will be payed of because of leveling up what was the sense of two account when you can focus on one to get up the higher rewards if you level up.
Well in my own opinion it is very helpful to have two accounts it`s because you can actually use your second account as a storage for your extra items and just for in case that your account was being hacked because we cannot actually predict what will happen even the security of the block chain is very well secured or not, but I do understand the feeling of the person who have been hacked because I have already felt that before. People are being practical in order to prevent something happen like that, and besides person can also play the same game on the same time that`s what we call multitasking. Yes, you can actually focus on one account to get up higher rewards, but people do create second account to hide the identity of their main account when they want to trade items or whatsoever the reason.

im not an online game fanatic but i think it cannot be avoided that users or players  would create multiple accounts,
because it is more an advantage to them.

Like you just said its rapidly evolving and developing, sooner or later this things that they say PWA cant do
would be available to do. Wink

i do agree with that ,Progressive Web App is just a new and rising technology but soon it will dominate the features of the native apps.

Don't forget the online shop guys, What's the difference of your Online Shop on other projects and on the Online Shopping sites like Lazada and Amazon? It is interesting having a n online virtual shop if I'm not wrong on the project because it really helps the users to see what he/she was needed and not but what makes it different from others?
Well i think the difference of the Smart City project for other online job is that they can accept crypto currency and well just like other online shopping too, but these project is also have their own way in terms of online shopping well, i hope that the shipment is free.

I am with you in your statement. I hope the shipment is free also. This is one common problem if something like this online selling platform goes global. The item was so cheap, that shipping fee is far greater than the actual item you've purchased. Smart City Eco was really brilliant at bringing something to us that solves any problem.

shipping fees are quite understandable to be more expensive specially if the shipment is country to country.
It is subjected for more tax than local shipment.
yes shipping fees are beyond control of the platform and its normal to charge the shipping fees to the buyers.
The shipment could be free if you reach a minimum amount of purchase i guess.

im just thinking if Cash on delivery would be available in their online shopping
and how would it be made possible?
thats a good question when i order online i prefer to choose cash on delivery
or should i say crypto on delivery haha... im curios about this idea.

In my perception about this one is that since this is online were it is connected into blockchain technology, their main tools as a payment for

this one is the token of SCE, because it is not the same online shopping like Alliexpress, amazon.com, and more. But most probably in online

was COD or cash on delivery.

but i think this COD can be made possible because all you need is just an internet connection
to pay for the items once delivered.

when i order online the usual questions that comes in mind are can i trust the seller? do they do COD?
so if COD would be available in their service i think it would be a plus factor, anyways its really is not impossible.

its not easy to decide invest or no to an ico project,
many of them reach hardcap but not give their promisses  Huh
guy you should keep straigt with roadmap

i agree with you my friend you cant put 100% trust on ICOS this days
you have to consider many things such a the roadmap and the identity of the team behind the project.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta (DEX) alternatives? on: June 29, 2018, 08:07:15 PM
It has been some time since I went on a shopping tour for cryptos. But as the prices have dropped this low, its kind of tempting to fill up the pockets a little more, so I would like to know which the best alternatives to Etherdelta are that everybody is using currently?
Last time I traded on a dex was last year when Etherdelta was on its rise, but I havent heard anything about it anymore since it was hacked. What happened with ED? Is it still usable?
I have read about Idex a few times, I will surely check that one out. If there are other alternatives, I would be happy if you could point me towards the best DEX's at the moment.
Thanks in advance!

For ERC20 tokens, i'd go for IDEX over ED. IDEX has better user interface. For NEP 5 tokens, go for switcheo.
