387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: September 07, 2016, 11:00:06 AM
Yes gambling addiction is considered a disease and needs help if it's truly impacting your overall life, There are many organizations or help groups for those affected by it "gambling-anonymous".
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: September 07, 2016, 10:56:36 AM
I guess the only hindrance is the bad publicity of bitcoin and it's use for obtaining illegal types of porn in the darkweb+ the absence of an age verification method which is a big problem for gambling sites overall. I agree it's perfectly fit for them since BTC is an a private and instant/irreversible payment method.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do? on: September 07, 2016, 10:54:59 AM
I would keep them and wait for the price to rise! Tongue , I doubt that is happening anytime soon though and probably might be the case if/when bitcoin has taken out the place of fiat and is the main processing unit "and people might be dealing in satoshi's lol".

Have you guys ever used bitcoins like a payment method?
Yes I frequently use it online as a payment method and there are some traders who won't even take other currencies, Not used it offline before, though

How hard it is to explain to someone what's bitcoin?
Hard but not impossible, I was able to explain it to a bunch of guys and even they didn't go crazy about it they understood most of the info I said

In your country there are many stores where you can use the bitcoins?
Nope

Do your friends related to bitcoin? Do they know what exactly is a bitcoin?
Yup most of them, Mainly because I bugged them about it Cheesy .
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin worst decision you will ever make? on: September 07, 2016, 10:49:22 AM
Not buying bitcoin when I first known about bitcoin in 2012, Not spending effort to learn about it and not considering to buy some BTC. I guess it's better late than never and there are still some who don't know about it till now..
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone buy during $1200? on: September 07, 2016, 10:47:58 AM
There where people who bought at 1 cent as well so I think it's a kind of equilibrium, I bought a small sum "less than 0.1 BTC" at that price and expected the rise to continue but it got blasted back to $200's at a time, now at $600 so the total decrease in value is not that massive now.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pokemon GO and Bitcoin would be a killer combo on: September 07, 2016, 10:46:12 AM
I don't like the idea of mixing money and games together, Any player knows how annoying it is to get or buy a pro account for few dollars when a player takes months to make and the people forgetting the purpose of the game and just going online buying tools rather than playing, I like getting bitcoin mixed in things but I don't know if it will take the purpose of the game.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: September 07, 2016, 10:41:59 AM
are you are seriously asking if bitcoin can be hacked with a calculator? If I misunderstood please correct me, If I understood correctly will be no, unless that calculator is a super computer exceeding the size of the current bitcoin network.
I think bitcoin already proved itself to be a strong and reliable network, I don't think it can be hacked by any method known till now and if there is a bug, it will just get fixed.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked BitcoinTalk Data Finally Surfaces On Dark Net on: September 07, 2016, 10:39:19 AM
I suppose everyone already considered the data compromised even if they did not see it officially on sale, I changed my passwords after every recent issue occurring in BCT as well as the CEX.IO data compromise and I changed all the passwords used on these sites. I think everyone should do that as well.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the trusted list of bitcoin wallet and site? on: September 07, 2016, 10:37:19 AM
First of all, I don't think holding your bitcoins in any site regardless of how trustworthy it is "i.e it can experience downtime even if it did not scam or do not own the private keys", is a good idea. Holding them in your PC "in a non-hybrid wallet" or holding it in a paper wallet should be the way to go.
397  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: September 07, 2016, 10:35:09 AM
Probably the typical "it's going up!" type of reason, I see bitcoin as a great investment and undervalued, Therefore I think it's a good idea to buy some of it and store for an improvement in price also sometimes I use it to buy goods online from traders offering BTC as an option of payment.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another way to invest Bitcoin without Mining on: September 07, 2016, 10:33:20 AM
I think the most decent way would be doing cryptocurrency trading with altcoins and investing in gambling sites overall bankroll, there are some projects running stock sales in bitcoin stock exchanges.. Gambling is of course not an investment in anyway IMO..
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your friend just know about Bitcoin and said he just invested into cloud mining. on: September 07, 2016, 10:27:28 AM
Of course I would take the initiative and tell him more about it, That cloud mining is just a HYIP in another way, I would attempt to assess him getting a refund which is possible if the website is still running and stable, if I didn't tell him I'm sure it would impact his positive view regarding BTC.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All these banks are now useing bitcoin on: September 07, 2016, 10:25:41 AM
Well, I agree it will impact bitcoin both in a negative and a positive way if banks adopt it "Doubt that will happen anytime soon though", Positively the price will improve and it would encourage a wider portion of population to engage in BTC's, as well as possible interest in BTC for depositers. Negatively I think it would take a big portion of privacy and decentralization of bitcoin.
