I think its gonna be a good thing. More people will be able to trust and consider using bitcoin, more merchandisers will start allowing bitcoin as their payments, people will invest more in bitcoin and maybe it will make it grow more and increase its value as well. It would be considered a lot more reliable than it is now. Though it will have its downs as well, as banks will be able to tax you, and track you as well. It will lessen the amount of anonymity from this world, but I feel the advantages are more than its cons.
That's true here as we already use net banking or debit/credit cards issued by banks and if bitcoins too are adopted, we'll be able to pay in bitcoins too. It will be like another trading account in addition to demat and other investment accounts and hence it will be a best thing for traders to buy/sell bitcoins easily.

If bank start using it then it is game over cause banks always try to take advantage and legally milk people as much as possible. even worse case would be if banks made up their own cryptocurrency and get way more famous because they already have majority of fiat and then bitcoin would be overtaken and the whole idea behind crpytocurrency would be destoryed.

maybe in a few country, bitcoin is intregated with the bank but in other country its not yet integrated. the banks don't know about bitcoin, i mean the don't really know what is bitcoin for sure, maybe the bank only know the outside of bitcoin and not the inside.
i think the bank will not integrated with bitcoin in this year, and i don't know when. but if the bank adopt bitcoin technology, especially in my country and my city, i think it will be good for us, bitcoin community, to use bitcoin in wide area and who knows this will make many store online and store offline that will receive bitcoin as their payment.

Well, I agree it will impact bitcoin both in a negative and a positive way if banks adopt it "Doubt that will happen anytime soon though", Positively the price will improve and it would encourage a wider portion of population to engage in BTC's, as well as possible interest in BTC for depositers. Negatively I think it would take a big portion of privacy and decentralization of bitcoin.

You are in the big country and has a lot of people and one of the country that has a lot of bitcoin user so it is okay but here in our country im talking about general im in 3rd world country i think bitcoiners is the only one that will be happy because they know what is bitcoin but others not so it is not usefull to all just for us, I do prefer not now but soon it is okay

I often find this kind of question about a bank with Bitcoin. And I think that it's a very bad idea because Bitcoin is supposed to be decentralized, so it won't make sense if Bitcoin used in a Bank.

hey, kindly explain how you arrived at 83% protection to privacy.? I think banks will not adopt bitcoin just like that. If you meant by adopting the technology behind bitcoin that is block chain, then yes not just the banks but almost everybody will adopt block chain in future. And bitcoin is definitely a good thing! Block chain can simply change everything we see in present world as it's applications are huge.

first of all bank will never accept bitcoin. because both are completely different things. and banks don't even like bitcoin. even in some countries bitcoin is illegal. but if by chance it happens then it will be very bad. because then banks will controll everyone's wallets, and we can't be our own banks anymore.

this time in my country no one BANK which accept bitcoin. I think it would be quite difficult. but the development of the current bitcoin is so good, in my opinion can make bitcoin accepted by the bank in the future. bitcoin just takes time to get into the economic system of the bank.

Yeah it's very true. I also don't see that user's bank in receiving bitcoin is an impact that is good for the growth of the bitcoin. because the bank will definitely do the policy can no longer we did previously, because the bank is central to distribute money and data center

I think that commercial banks sure will adopt in some way, but i doubt about central governments banks coz their power is based on exclusive emission rights and bitcoin is decentralized, no one wants to lose thiier power, so in some countries they will even try to stop crypto currencies

Banks will not adopt Bitcoin. At least not directly. The reason for that is pretty simple. They can not control it. However I could imagine them issuing certificates which are connected to Bitcoin and where they could try to influence the price of Bitcoin with it.Similar to so many gold certificates floating around and exist 300 times more than real gold. So if banks try to get involved with Bitcoin in any way I'm pretty sure it's not for good.

Bitcoin would be like converted into what our physical money is right now. Like taxes and such. Yeah, it can be called as basically "destoyed".

Banks adopting bitcoins would be the best option for us as we'll get the security that our coins are in safe hands and the rate of scamming that goes on here will be reduced to a great extent. I would be happy to keep my money with a bank rather than use an online wallet and living with the fear of it getting hacked or stolen.

you are right, though i doubt that banks would take risks and start using bitcoins because they would be afraid that people will not like it as bitcoin is a decentralized currency

If we will have bitcoin debit card and will have a similar system to buy bitcoins then I think we do not need any bank as we are happy with that available system of bitcoin, as with debit I am very happy and I do not use my banks any more to withdraw my money.

i dont think it will effect the bitcoin in a negative way to be honest, people will always want to have bitcoin decentralized and banks wont change that
