The use of misleading uniforms to sneak into foreign territory for a secret operation does not surprise Russian military experts. One Moscow-based army analyst recalled the earlier “masquerades” or false flag operations under Soviet military doctrine, sending Soviet and Russian commandos dressed as locals in Afghanistan and in Chechnya: “Our forces conducted secret operations in the Middle East and in Africa this way. Putin’s strategy is not unique,” says the analyst who declined to be named.

about ruSSIans tanks in ukraine:

Russia tests nuclear missile, plans more launches: Navy

The mace can deliver an impact 100 times more intense that the 1945 atomic blast that devastated Hiroshima. Russia will conduct two more tests later this year, the Navy said.

Russia carried out a successful test of its new Bulava intercontinental nuclear missile on Wednesday and will perform two more test launches in October and November, the head of its naval forces said.

The armed forces have boosted their military training and test drills since the start of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, which Russia considers in its traditional sphere of influence.

The 12-meter long Bulava, or mace, has undergone numerous tests, some successful, and can deliver an impact of up to 100 times the atomic blast that devastated Hiroshima in 1945.

Naval Commander-in-Chief Admiral Viktor Chirkov said the test launch had been carried out from the White Sea and that the test missile had hit its target in Russia's far east.

"In October and November of this year, the naval fleet will carry out two more launches with two rocket cruisers equipped with ballistic missiles," Interfax quoted Chirkov as saying.

A Bulava missile weighs 36.8 tons and can travel 8,000 km (5,000 miles) and hold 6-10 nuclear warheads.

It is obvious that ‘DNR’ and ‘LNR’ projects have no support in Donbas and Luhansk oblast. The recall of the main ideologists and harbingers of terrorism in this region, Girkin and Bezler, and then the ‘people’s governor of Donbas’ and head of the mobilization headquarters of the ‘DNR Defense Ministry,’ former neo-Nazi Pavel Gubarev, shows that they have already done their job. Putin removed these failed marionettes and took the reigns into his own hands.

However, this cannot change the situation, as Russia is fighting against the Ukrainian nation, which does not want to return to any form of the former Soviet Union under any circumstances

ruSSia against the Baltic States-

"If even several years ago one could see Russia's will to distance itself from the Soviet regime, the recent events [...] clearly indicate not just legal, but also ideological identity between #Russia and the #USSR."
The General Prosecutor's Office of Lithuania has informed that the Russian law enforcement authorities are trying to reopen criminal proceedings against Lithuanian nationals who refused to serve in the Soviet army following the country's 1990 secession from the USSR.

Attempts by Russia's law enforcement agencies to re-open criminal prosecution against Lithuanian nationals who avoided military service in the Soviet army in 1990-1991 has no legal basis, says international law expert Erika Leonaitė.
Moreover, she says, such a move reaffirms that Russia is the successor state of the USSR, responsible for crimes inflicted on the Baltic States.

Brilliant article:

Russia and the Menace of Unreality

In today’s Russia, by contrast, the idea of truth is irrelevant. On Russian ‘news’ broadcasts, the borders between fact and fiction have become utterly blurred. Russian current-affairs programs feature apparent actors posing as refugees from eastern Ukraine, crying for the cameras about invented threats from imagined fascist gangs. During one Russian news broadcast, a woman related how Ukrainian nationalists had crucified a child in the eastern Ukrainian city of Sloviansk. When Alexei Volin, Russia’s deputy minister of communications, was confronted with the fact that the crucifixion story was a fabrication, he showed no embarrassment, instead suggesting that all that mattered were ratings. “The public likes how our main TV channels present material, the tone of our programs,” he said. “The share of viewers for news programs on Russian TV has doubled over the last two months.” The Kremlin tells its stories well, having mastered the mixture of authoritarianism and entertainment culture. The notion of ‘journalism,’ in the sense of reporting ‘facts’ or ‘truth,’ has been wiped out. In a lecture last year to journalism students at Moscow State University, Volin suggested that students forget about making the world a better place. “We should give students a clear understanding: They are going to work for The Man, and The Man will tell them what to write, what not to write, and how this or that thing should be written,” he said. “And The Man has the right to do it, because he pays them.”

The point of this new propaganda is not to persuade anyone, but to keep the viewer hooked and distracted—to disrupt Western narratives rather than provide a counternarrative. It is the perfect genre for conspiracy theories, which are all over Russian TV. When the Kremlin and its affiliated media outlets spat out outlandish stories about the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 over eastern Ukraine in July—reports that characterized the crash as everything from an assault by Ukrainian fighter jets following U.S. instructions, to an attempted NATO attack on Putin’s private jet—they were trying not so much to convince viewers of any one version of events, but rather to leave them confused, paranoid, and passive—living in a Kremlin-controlled virtual reality that can no longer be mediated or debated by any appeal to ‘truth.’

^^^ You need to understand some basic facts.

#1. It was the USSR, better known as the Soviet Union which invaded Poland. From 1918 to 1991, there was no Russia.

#2. The USSR, was composed of 15 constituent federal republics. These republics were:  Russian SFSR, Ukrainian SSR, Byelorussian SSR, Uzbek SSR, Kazakh SSR, Georgian SSR, Azerbaijan SSR, Lithuanian SSR, Moldavian SSR, Latvian SSR, Kirghiz SSR, Tajik SSR, Armenian SSR, Turkmen SSR & Estonian SSR.

If you claim that the Russian SFSR invaded Poland, then the facts does not corroborate that. It was invaded by forces from all the 15 constituent federal republics.

dude, tell me more about 15 republics in 1920 Cheesy If someone look like ruSSian, talk like ruSSian, smell like ruSSian, then it's probably marsians.

The Polish–Soviet War (February 1919 – March 1921) was an armed conflict that pitted Soviet Russia and Soviet Ukraine against the Second Polish Republic and the Ukrainian People's Republic over the control of an area equivalent to today's Ukraine and parts of modern-day Belarus. At some points the war also threatened Poland's e

Five Ukrainian Soldiers Killed Despite Ceasefire: Clashes continue following shaky Minsk peace deal

Five ‪#‎Ukrainian‬ soldiers have been killed since Friday's ‪#‎ceasefire‬ deal with ‪#‎Russia‬ and insurgents. A further 33 Ukrainian troops have been wounded since the peace agreement was signed in Minsk, Belarus. The death toll indicates that the fragile ceasefire is struggling to hold. There have been reports of attacks by Russian militants near the Donetsk airport and by the strategic coastal city of Mariupol, both currently held by Ukrainian forces. The news comes as Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called for talks on the future political status of ‪#‎Donetsk‬ and ‪#‎Luhansk‬.

Then why are we in Poland, Finland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, in Afghanistan

Has the Russian Federation ever invaded Poland? If you are referring to the Russian Empire, then it ceased to exist in 1917. But I have to remind you that the Russian Empire consisted of the present day nations such as Finland, Ukraine.etc and is very very different from the Russian Federation. Should I say that therefore Finland has invaded Poland?

The Soviet invasion of Poland was a Soviet military operation that started without a formal declaration of war on 17 September 1939, immediately after the end of the undeclared war between the Soviet Union and the Empire of Japan at the Battles of Khalkhin Gol (Nomonhan) in the Far East. The Molotov–Tojo agreement between the USSR and Japan was signed on 15 September 1939, with a ceasefire taking effect on 16 September 1939.[6] On 17 September, sixteen days after Nazi Germany invaded Poland from the west, the Soviet Union did so from the east. The invasion ended on 6 October 1939 with the division and annexing of the whole of the Second Polish Republic by Germany and the Soviet Union.

Filming from an ‘secret location,’ an RT journalist lent a hand in documenting further how Russian forces intentionally fire from residential areas in order to provoke Ukrainian forces with the intent of drawing return fire on the area.
"We’re going to get out of here because now it is dangerous [...] there is the fear that missiles will start coming in, so let’s get out of here."

Residential area? If so, where are the dwellings with their inhabitants on this photo which are supposed to be there? By the state of the road and the abundant foliage I'd rather say it is some rural area... Did I miss something?

"In the segment, the correspondent tells viewers that they are preparing to fire Grad rockets at nearby Ukrainian soldiers, which a Russian soldier, described as an “anti-government fighter,” says always hits its targets. In the video, a house is seen in the background of what appears to be a village."
