381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: July 25, 2020, 03:18:42 AM
I dont know what you think guys but i think airdrop and bounty kill the project let say after the project finish the ico all the bounty and airdrop hnter sell their coin/token , this make te price go low.Since all of bounty and airdrp hunter did not care about the project.
If bounties and airdrops kill the project, why in 2017 are the ICOs so shining? ICOs projects should not shine in 2017. We cannot hit evenly if the bounty and airdrop kill the project, you need to fully understand a project roadmap, there is also a lack of investment, or the project is not in demand which causes the project to fail. I understand because there are some users who justify that and that has happened, but their advertising management is also very bad which results in the destruction of the coin market. It all depends on the investment returns obtained by the project, if they get a large amount from investors, the bounty and airdrop issues will not interfere and vice versa.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 25, 2020, 03:07:35 AM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?
All types of investments have risks, the most important thing is that you can understand the investment information for profit. from here the investment risk is there, now the new coin that you use Icos or IEO? This investment is very risky if you don't see the development of the project and what the developers are planning for their coin future. So for beginners, I would recommend a new IEO coin that is on a large platform such as Binance than ICOs that have smaller trust.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are happy only when the price goes up? on: July 24, 2020, 09:33:43 AM
Especially in the wall observer, you will see people that want bitcoin's price to get increased. Although, if bitcoin price goes down, it's good for many people too. For example, I want to get decreased so I can buy more BTC

If we assume that there are only people with huge fortunes on bitcoin, then yes, it's too bad if the price goes down. But, except from those guys, there are the ones who are waiting to buy more. We never heard anything from them  Roll Eyes

If they expect the value to go down and then buy in large quantities, surely they will not announce it in the media because it is personal consumption. imagine if they announced it then it could have caused prices to explode. Besides, why when the price of bitcoin rises, many people feel happy, because it is a testament to the trust of users for crypto. That way, there will be many people who see bitcoin and support cryptocurrency, there are no hidden politics and strategies in that condition.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoins dominance coming to an end? on: July 24, 2020, 09:23:28 AM
A lot of speculations coming around this forum as well as in many other sites regarding the dominance if BTC is going to end, Are the alts going to take over???

Where as I went through few links where it states like big whales are targeting altcoins over BTC. Pretty cool 😎 but I still believe in this valuable asset because remember what happened in 2017 it rallied more than 1000%. So guys don't panic and take serious decisions have patience till it recovers BTC is still dominating and hopefully it will in upcoming. Link just for reference.

https://dailyhodl.com/2020/07/21/bitcoins-status-as-crypto-king-is-coming-to-an-end-predicts-blockchairs-nikita-zhavoronkov-heres-why/amp/
I don't know much about the predictions of a distant future, because in my opinion it's a matter of dominance where the important role is user behavior. This is very difficult to guess because many users are in the cryptocurrency market where the crypto market is divided into many coins. actually dominance can change depending on which market the whale chooses to move in, but so far bitcoin has more appeal for whales. Many aspects can change the flow of water for crypto domination and this is not a simple analysis
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Protect Yourself from Fraudulent Bitcoin Giving on: July 24, 2020, 09:07:00 AM
So the point is do not easily trust someone, because they have a hidden intention and end up deceiving you. This deceptive technique has been used for a long time by many people, the advantages are they successfully hack a famous person's Twitter account and it can convince people. From some people I know become victims and the reason is because there might be events or challenges because they come from famous people's accounts.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who said that ICOs are dead? on: July 23, 2020, 11:52:22 AM
"In 2019 ICOs are dead" not exactly dead but they are just hard to get investors because of some problems that arise that cause ICOs reputation to decline. We also haven't seen ICOs that can make the market explode anymore, we don't know yet whether AVAX will provide a good picture for the future of ICOs again. This will be good if not only one ICO gets a large investor, we need another ICOs to make the ICO trend back to what it was in 2017.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum fees are becoming like Bitcoin fees on: July 23, 2020, 11:40:07 AM
Lately ETH fees have been skyrocketing and I have been paying 50 cents for a normal eth transaction and over $1 for contract functions. Used to be a few pennies at most to get your transaction confirmed quickly.
You can make adjustments to the GAS according to the fee you want, but that will affect your transactions. I also experienced an increase in fees on transactions but that is not so much in my opinion and not so much a problem because you can adjust the GAS value according to what you want. ethereum raised their size block so I think the miners also increased their gas limit. The benefits also affect us with increasing block sizes.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: July 23, 2020, 11:32:01 AM
I completely agree that crypto will be the currency of the future. Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.
If you say the future? it looks like fifty-fifty, in terms of the concepts that exist in cryptocurrency is a concept that is needed in the future, where transactions are easy to use. Can make transactions anywhere and outside the country easily, digital concepts are also things that are needed in the future. Moreover, cryptocurrency has technology that promotes data transparency and data security.

Why do I say fifty-fifty because cryptocurrency still has weaknesses. Examples of bitcoin and some other coins that have high prices will find it difficult to make small transactions. Whereas the stablecoin that is said to be suitable for a transaction does not yet have a way to make a purchase transaction directly.

^ I'd forgotten about this self-imposed challenge  Grin

We know that he backtracked but I just want to remind everyone that even crypto personalities can't predict the market and they get it wrong most of the time. Do not fall for their "expert" opinions. Some of them are paid reviews/opinions anyway.
I really forgot, this is one of the reasons why he is called a clown. He posted the tweet to spread FUD, because as we all know, he has been paid several times to praise a project regardless of the conditions that occur. Although honestly I hope that prediction will come true because I have converted most of my portfolio to bitcoin at that time.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earn and save in Satoshi on: July 22, 2020, 06:26:38 AM
Actually it is each choice but I really appreciate your encouragement for the advancement of cryptocurrency. I think why some users leave the crypto industry because of their level of mistrust and most of it is not because of the pandemic this year. What I see is no correlation because we can do crypto world activities at home. I feel lately cryptocurrency has more appeal because some altcoins have high fluctuations.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upgrade Stole My Bitcoin on: July 22, 2020, 06:19:05 AM
My friend has also experienced the same thing, since there has been a link that has shared some discussions about fake download electrum, so you have to be more careful to act. I'm sorry for you, but this is not the end because we can get some bitcoin to cure it. More alert to all kinds of suspicious things. I personally consider this a very serious problem, because this is not an ordinary phishing action, I have already tried downloading it. It can't be helped, there is almost nothing suspicious, but we can know that it is fake when we want to download it, and also Electrum has several times reminded its users.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT? on: July 21, 2020, 07:43:37 AM
I don't know what to answer, tether.to is the official website for coin tether / USDT, and I'm sure we all know that coin. Although many conspiracy theories on USDT use the concept of stable, but so far USDT is safe. Safe or not depends on your goals and what transactions you will do. USDT is a coin that increases the type of stable coin so I think it's very funny if you keep asking that.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How possible is it to make a living trading cryptocurrencies alone? on: July 21, 2020, 07:30:59 AM
I read a lot and listen to someone who makes a profit and lives in trading stock, forex and cryptocurrency. They have expertise in good technical analysis and information gathering, so to do that you need to hone those skills. If you ask is it possible or not? the answer is possible. As most members here inform that it's not easy because we can't always make a profit, even we can lose.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 21, 2020, 07:22:37 AM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin?
If you dive deeper into this forum, you will find analysis and information about the crypto market, be it trading or investing for a long period of time. You have to hone the way you gather information, because that is what you need to invest. There are lots of coins in this industry so there is definitely a possibility that altcoin is worthy of being an investment place. Based on your characteristics, I suggest investing in stable coins because the risk is low, and you can easily get information about crypto on crypto web portals like Coindesk. Other suggestions might be in the top crypto lineup.o web portals like Coindesk. other suggestions might be in the top crypto lineup.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: July 20, 2020, 12:05:18 PM
Bitcoin's popularity has been increasing ever since the bull market of 2017 took place. Even with the pandemic, prices have recovered to their original levels (near $10k) in just a matter of months. More people are accepting Bitcoin worldwide, albeit at a slow and steady pace. I've seen many sites out there in the online world which accepts Bitcoin for goods and services. But the number of businesses and merchants accepting it for food or groceries are quite limited. In the physical world, supermarkets and even fast foods haven't even adopted Bitcoin yet. Fiat is still the predominant type of currency in the mainstream world, for buying items that are required for one's survival.

Do you think that in the future it'll be possible to buy food or groceries with Bitcoin? I know that volatility is a huge issue for Bitcoin to be accepted as an alternative to traditional Fiat, but merchants and businesses could quickly convert Bitcoin to a stablecoin minimizing the risk of loss. What are your thoughts? Huh
This is very possible, with advances and technological innovations developing rapidly. At present there are several ways that can be traversed to buy goods, food or services using cryptocurrency but with the help of third parties it takes a little time but it can be done. If a third party conducts business relations with several companies related to goods and services, what the OP said could have happened, of course, with the choice of technology and crypticurrency that is suitable for conducting such transactions.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oldest scam in the book can help you make money on: July 20, 2020, 11:37:35 AM
I also think the same thing as the OP, where we can't blame everything on the fraudsters because it can't return your money. Self-introspection then try to get back up and just consider this an experience for you to be more vigilant because fraud can occur under any conditions. However, this condition has already occurred and anger will not solve the problem. although I am very surprised at the nominal bitcoin that fraudsters can produce.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in a wrong way on: July 19, 2020, 03:52:00 AM
For those newbie in cryptocurrency in all certain platform, if you want to invest your money first, you have to think and conduct a research regarding on why do you want to invest your money. For you to be able to gain a good profit and to avoid the losing of your capital. Hence, there are some people who have insufficient knowledge in trading, investment etc.
In any type of investment, investors are required to have knowledge about what they want to invest and that is the most basic thing in investing. Investing without knowing anything is stupid, and I'm sure we all know that. But why are there still so many people doing the wrong thing? If we want to find information and knowledge we can get it quickly because we are in the era of technology and anything we can quickly access.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO increasing rapidly on: July 19, 2020, 03:35:50 AM
I think ICO started to increase day after day and people started to trust it,The future will goes to ICO, maybe because the low price or the new features which it provides.
Where did you get the static data? I haven't seen much ICO this year, and I think many people don't have trust in ICO anymore. Projects like ICOs and IEO are now experiencing a decrease in trust, so I think increasing ICOs is the wrong result. As related to the project, that when viewed static data this forum's visitors have increased. I think you need to look back at the data from icorating sites or icoreviews sites.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: July 19, 2020, 03:20:35 AM
Fake project is really frustrating if you're one of the victim especially for investors and bounty hunters.
I had read an interesting way to make sure the project is real. You can identify the project is fake by it's address of the company who is running IEO/ICO. Fake project would be indentify with this way because they put fake location. You can check it with google maps to verify if it's real.

So how do you indentify if the project is fake?
For me the most important thing is that they are transparent in terms of information and we must first research who developed the project. It's good enough to search for project addresses, but there are some projects that make the addresses of other offices as their addresses. try not to choose anonymous projects/they hide their information, and be sure to look at their official website, because usually fake projects don't pay much attention to their web functions.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction price Bitcoin on: July 18, 2020, 04:14:27 AM
I was a little surprised because I saw the time of this thread and the current transaction fee. seen feenya currently still the same between 25 - 35 sat bytes and depends on the number of input in each transaction. And for some wallet providers also set a standard amount for their own fees and that sometimes varies by wallet provider. The point is that bitcoin transaction fees are still expensive, especially for fees that use wallet exchangers.
