Are you sure about that? if that's true maybe investors will not hesitate to invest in ICO again. but according to my personal analysis that there is still a lot of ICO fraud, and not many investors believe it. ICO is no longer as relevant as it used to be especially in 2017. ICO is now more like a hotbed of fraud and investors are reluctant to invest in ICO anymore.

Even though it is true the ICO project has increased again, then I think investors will still not trust them anymore. But I see this thread is a thread in 2019, so I think OP not seen in 2018 that there have been many ICO scams, now the IEO project has begun to increase, while the ICO project has dimmed.

Where did you get the static data? I haven't seen much ICO this year, and I think many people don't have trust in ICO anymore. Projects like ICOs and IEO are now experiencing a decrease in trust, so I think increasing ICOs is the wrong result. As related to the project, that when viewed static data this forum's visitors have increased. I think you need to look back at the data from icorating sites or icoreviews sites.

Ico is still increasing right now even the IEO has become the main trend and you can try to see the icodrop site and then you will see how much the icos that have already ended and the upcoming icos too.

There are so many new projects these days and I think so many of them are reliable projects.

Well, if Binance didn't create an IEO then I think we're still stuck with ICOs. Since the creation of the IEO it has completely replaced the IEO and kept a lot of investors have profitable, and with the development of exchanges I believe the IEO will continue to exist in a long time

So ICOs were marred by the defeciency caused by different projects and also the incompetency of the team members and also the bridge in communication between the project marketing team and the community of supporters and also the scam projects that shutdowwn their platforms without refunding investors money and also the challenges encountered by projects in their vairous regions and government and enlistments. These contributively saw the ddemise of ICOs and the ushering in of IEO,STO anf the others.

The reason is that our crypto market has a new trend, it's Defi. Defi system development projects are springing up a lot and that's why there are so many ICO projects calling for capital back. But be careful, although there is a trend, but there are many fraud projects are born, please analyze carefully before investing money. The pandemic is still under control and there are many scammers out there, be alert when analyzing and investing.

Defi projects do not run ICO and if there is any Defi that confirms it is running ICO will not be able to have a successful fund raising round. I could remember seeing some Defi projects where people came to ask if it's ICO. Fundraisng is a very important part of a project it what it is captured with is very important. ICO is obsolete, there are now better ways to public sales.

Where exactly are the ICOs? If I remember vividly ICOs has decreased to the least minimum or even dead while DeFi projects are the ones increasing rapidly such that most new projects with a different idea are now gradually adding one or two features so as to be called Defi projects. Also, contrary to your opinion, with the dent on ICOs nature,  I do not think anyone will trust it again because we have now seen that ICO fundraising method is highly risky. My humble opinion is, it would be better going for IEO fundraising method as it have proven to be less risky for a long time now than engaging in something (ICO) filled with risks.

IEO is not even regulated by SEC too and I think you must see the latest upcoming ico and there was so many new coins will be coming for sure. Some of them were ico coins. I think that ICO is still existed and when there was someone who said it has already died and that's a rumour.

ICOs are dead in 2020, many of the greedy people take advantage of ICOs to make short profits then disappear without a trace.

However, it is different from 2017-2018 where ICO is very relevant, reliable, the roadmap is very clear and has accountable value.

I don't understand why it has something to do with Bitcoin's price. ICOs are not growing like they used to be because there were so many scam projects and it caused a lot of investors to lose. And no one else is interested in investing in it, IEOs are the best option for everyone and if you choose IEOs at large exchanges you get a huge profit.

ICO really have a lot of flaws for IEO, I still haven't really seen many ico projects at the moment, since many people have lost faith in it, rising ico is not correct

Due to some of the really promising projects people have again started to trust on ICO's. That's really good news for ICO's and recently many people have been moving towards crypto investment due to global pandemic and that's the great opportunity to generate money.

It is true the sentiment around ICO is changing, this was what I told my friends then that we just need like 5 ICOs perform well then the sentiments will change to positive but care need to be talking not to get greedy easily, I do not buy into the auction model some f these teams are employing because it only favours the early investors and the VCs, the only good thing now is the lock up period that is longer than before and help the project to find its feet in the market

Forget about 2017. Even now a lot of fraud is going on in the ICO sector. Even with a lot of advertisement and hype, many of the new projects are struggling even to reach the soft-cap levels. I was expecting that the new ICOs would at least listen to the concerns from the investors. But most of them continue to ignore the concerns and they seems to be after easy money.
