What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?

It's never too late, the question is different, is it worth it? no one can know how much the risk is great. If bitcoin continues to grow further, then there is nothing to worry about, but if it falls in price then not only the elderly, but also young, there is no sense to invest. |

Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.
It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.
But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot
Fraud is very weak and lazy people. Instead of working and earning people's bread, people want to do nothing without making a profit. So it does not happen that to receive dividends you need to invest your energy and time into work, then everything will be ok. |

I recall a 30,000 coin dump in one go on Bitstamp. It certainly put a dent in things but rebounded quickly. There's a lot more dollars than coins out there.
