What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I dont think it is too late for them to know about bitcoin. However, I think it is so hard for them to understand about it. I dont know, but I found my father who is 75 years old has trouble in understanding what is bitcoin and how it works. Maybe some old people can understand it very well.

It's never too late or too early. All that matters is understanding what you are investing in and why. Will BTC outperform the stock market over the next 20 years? If you think so, then it is obviously not too late at all.

As always though, diversification is key. A balanced portfolio should includes multiple asset classes, and as long as BTC is viewed as one of those asset classes then I see no problem with it. Dumping all your savings into BTC and hoping for the best, is obviously not s strategy, but pure speculation.

Its never too late to start of really something valueable and relevant as BTC. If you guys know Col. Sanders, founder of KFC, he started already old like 60s plus until he found success of that business which is very relevant today. Bitcoin definitely will soar high in the coming years.  Smiley

yes i agree everything is not really tolate only people who dont have a dream say that evrything in cryto is toolate. I believe  that if theres still life theres a hope it only depends on the person behind his determination to ingage in cryptocurrency world i believe  there is no harm on trying .things is possible only to those who try and take risk and  notbing really happen to those who dont really want to try. I believe profit doesnt reffer to your age.it is all about hard  work and beliefs and also with your dreams those are the great factor to make you prudent in the future.

Anyone can join digital currencies investment or bitcoin as long their mind can still cleary think for any decision to make. If they're old but not crazy or with no alzheimer's  disease they can 100% can join the investments even if they can't move they can urge someone to do transactions for them as long as they can think and decide what to do because there is no rules of joining bitcoin in which everyone can join.

it is risky but not late. it is never late to invest in cryptocurrencies.
and it has nothing to do with age of a person, it all depends on how much one understands the market and how willing he is to spend time and endure risks to make money.
as i said it is risky, and if you are thinking about making a living it becomes even harder to make better decisions and when you are new to trading or this market in general, you will have a hard time adapting.

I agree, it is not too late to invest in cryptocurrencies and the age of the person should not matter. Even though they might take longer to understand cryptocurrencies, this is still an opportunity as the crypto world changes very fast. However, they should only invest money, which they can afford to lose.

It depends. For bolstering ones pension fund I personally would find it too risky. But I would say the same about stocks for that matter.

However if you don't mind not being able to personally profit from your investment -- ie. in case of a prolonged bear market of 5-10 years -- and plan on potentially leaving it to your descendantes -- then, but only then, I would consider it.

No its never too late to invest, there is no qualifications in jpining the crypto world, they just need more explaination how their investment works and profits as well..every minutes there is a movement in price and It is very important that they would be open minded that they take a risk for their money and its pretty sure that for their old age they already understand how investments run.Even at their old age its good thing to know that there is still good opportunity thats knocking in their doors.

Do you think it may be too late because if they invest, they may not be around in time to pull out of the market and benefit from the profits?

Same as love, age in crypto World is just a number. But money and investments are not just a number, they are the most important things in this field.
If you have money you can invest in Bitcoin but are going to have a profit ? Personally I don't advice new investors to invest in Bitcoin because it is very risky today with the big raise which can be followed with a big drop.
There is many cryptocurrencies increasing today you can invest in, such as e-Bitcoin, Etherium, etc ....

When it's not late, bitcoin is a value investing right now, and you think you can make some money by buying it for a try. If you think it will not work, it is appropriate to withdraw from the line.

I would advise them to invest only a very small portion of their income. If you are old, you are basically speculating if you invest in bitcoin as the price may crash in a very short period. That is why the advise given to pensioners is to invest in gilts and annuities.

No way even it’s best time to invest on bitcoin because I was regular trader in all manner like equity, commodity, forex but nothing find profitable like cryptocurrency . I think it’s easy to speculate the coins are token still it’s under the control of community. So if you follow the community it’s much easier to get profit .

You are right, It's risky to invest in cryptocurrencies, because you don't know when a cryptocurrency increase or decrease, you should depend on your point of view of market. By the way, I don't think that is too late to invest in cryptocurrencies for elder, because they can even make a huge profit in 5-10 years later.
