381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I learn to be a professional trader? on: June 30, 2018, 06:02:31 AM
I want to learn about being professional trader. I want to search and read some articles but I don't know whatelse.
What I read so far is about how to read candlestick. And I learn how to read indicator but I just learn it by myself.
So what articles to read? If you have some suggestion, please share here. I don't ask for the articles to read, I just ask for some clue what to learn

I am not a professional trader but I intend to be one hopefully. I would suggest to start with babypips.com first. It's like going to school all over again but then you can absorb what you learn there because it is a progressive learning. After studying there, you can then read some books related to cryptocurrency or blockchain technology. You can start trading too because it is only when you experience it yourself that you will truly learn no matter how many books you read or how many videos you watch. Do not rush and have a strategy that you are comfortable using.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BE CAREFUL FOR THIS ADDRESS AS THIEF!! Is there any way to fight them? on: June 30, 2018, 05:52:57 AM
I haven't been hacked, but I'm worried that one day my wallet was hacked.
How did hackers invade your wallet? Can you reveal more details, have you strayed into the phishing website? Or leaked your private key online?

Maybe OP opened an e-mail that has been sent by the hacker and then access the site that has been given and that triggered the hacker to have access to his account. I would recommend to just ignore any e-mail sent by MEW because in the first place, you didn't give an e-mail address to MEW when you made your wallet. If you often use a site then always bookmark it and triple check the address before inputting your details because it may be the way for the hacker to get your coins. Maybe OP has downloaded an app too that has a virus and the hacker has access to his PC that has all the information of his wallets.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: weak period for cryptocurrency, do you agree? on: June 30, 2018, 05:40:01 AM
It has been a sluggish period but unfortunately I think it had to happen for the future of bitcoin and the crypto market in general. The ATHs in Dec/Jan were way to high for such a young market and what we have seen in the last few months has just been a correction. I do think as we move into July we should hopefully see some healthy, positive rises upwards in the market

Maybe the pump just a few hours ago is one of the signs that the market will be excited again and the weak period is over. The parabolic movement in the last quarter of December is so sudden that the downfall of it is very much expected because that is how the market will be, there will be upwards and downwards movement. It may be a weak period of cryptocurrency market in the mean time but maybe in the next half of the year, it would be the time when crypto markets will be bullish again and the volume would come back.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell us about the dishonest bounty you encountered and remind others! on: June 30, 2018, 05:22:15 AM
That is why we need to choose carefully about the ICO projects that if possible we choose the ICO that handled by most famous and respected bounty managers because for me these bounty managers will review will the projects before accepting it because their reputation is at stake. There are only few new bounty managers are with true sympathy of the hunters so better choose carefully or your effort will be wasted.

Bounty managers are big factor when choosing a bounty that you will join because they wouldn't just manage a project without reviewing first if the team is honest with their intention. It would also tarnished their reputation if they promote a scam project. Few months ago, there is a reputable manager that has revealed he know that the team just manipulated the amount reach by the team so now, he is no longer trusted and has negative trust. If the team do not attend seminars and blockchain conferences and not showing their face then for me it is already a red flag.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2018 the most crucial year for bitcoin? on: June 30, 2018, 04:57:51 AM
its crucial but not price wise. Now is the time for the market to stabilize; for real advance in tech and real world application. This year and 2019 will decide whether real blockchain application is integrated and how the laws adapted to it

I think so too. The last quarter of the year has attracted many people to recognize bitcoin to invest on it and this year, it would be the year wherein people must decide if they are in it for the long term or they just invested for the short term profits. This year, we would see the people and then the institutions too if they decide to get involved with cryptocurrencies as one of the assets that they would make as a hedge as the financial markets is currently in a turmoil and we can see that there is an economic uncertainty.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle tough times in cryptocurrency? on: June 29, 2018, 04:36:47 AM
If you are always worrying about the market prices then the best thing to do is just read different positive speculations in order to determine what will happen in the prices for the next few months.

It's kind of depressing when we are already down and we read more negative news so the best way to counter the tough times in crypto is to zoom out those charts and have a point of view for the long term because even if we are more than half down from the all time high, there are still people who believe in cryptocurrency and these are people who already made a name in the industry. You just need to watch and read the opinion of those positive people so that you can be inspired too and believe that this is just a temporary hiccup.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: A coin issued by some country government - would you go for it? on: June 29, 2018, 04:10:55 AM
Of course, it depends on which government would support that coin, because if it is my government I doubd, that would go into it!
No matter the government that is creating the coin, there is nothing actually there to go for. Sure, I may still be trading it just the same way I trade Forex and that may actually bring about a better way to trade. However, we also need to remember that there is actually no way it would not be centralized and controlled, so holding it would really not bring about anything different from the fiat we have been holding all our lives.

It would just be the same as holding fiat then because it would centralized and controlled by the government. It may use the blockchain technology but it would be controlled then and holding it for investment purposes would not be worth it if you intend to make it as long term investment. It would be pegged to the fiat currency of the government. If I intend to invest in a cryptocurrency then it would be decentralized just like the cryptocurrencies now and maybe issued or have some partnership with reputable companies.
388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you afraid of the market now? on: June 29, 2018, 03:35:24 AM
I think the next economic crisis will affect the digital money market.
what's your point of view?

It may affect the digital market in a negative way or it may have the advantage of being the hedge to the financial markets crisis. Looks like people are losing the trust in crypto markets too when you look at its volume and some of the sentiments of the people leaving the crypto scene. We need a volume that would trigger the people to invest on crypto again or maybe an event that would make people trust it. The excitement is not there and fear is in the air especially that the price keeps going down. I still believe we would be able to get past this bear market and be able to go back up again.

391  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you really care if your data is exploited?? on: June 28, 2018, 04:56:52 AM
Ofcause we care about our personal infomation. That is why people don't post your personal information on the thread. It's safety and privacy resaons.

For safety and privacy reasons, the anonymity using blockchain technology was created. Due to advanced technology, most of the transactions are done online so it is important that you have privacy because if your information will be expose then there is a possibility that your accounts would be hacked. Financial related accounts is at risk of being hacked that's why one should always be careful when giving out information especially in social media sites because this are the sites that hackers are often lurking and waiting for their next target to show up.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think there is institutional manipulation of the Bitcoin price? on: June 28, 2018, 04:27:45 AM
bitcoin, with extreme volatility, as everyone knows. we see that the large price fluctuations of the crypto money market with the largest capitalized crypto are now almost regular. this leads to quite a negative market pressure. the first question that needs to be asked as to why this price fluctuation is being investigated is, in fact, whether bitcoin is manipulated in price. we can not know without seeing such an action. So it is not easy to say for sure that bitcoin manipulation is done.

This issue has been tackled a lot of times of whether the price is manipulated or not and now there is already a formal investigation going on. We have yet to see what would be their decision. As or me, I believe there are whales in the market pumping and dumping the market all the time. How can someone explain then those buy and sell order of thousand of bitcoin from time to time. There are times though when it is a group of traders that has the same price order that's why it looks like a single entity that is doing it.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: June 27, 2018, 04:36:05 AM
Everyone is responsible for their own decisions.I cant blame you for this kind of risky decision but my advice is to keep faith in this crypto space. Maybe one day you will find good job but i am not sure about this low prices for early birds..

OP didn't lost his job but he almost lost it because he is too much focused doing cryptocurrency related tasks and he almost forgot that he should prioritized more his main job. He realized his mistake though and focus more on his job and this is a lesson for everyone to have time management. You can do your crypto related task when you are done with your main job so that you cannot lose your main source of income. If you have more income from crypto then you can choose to leave your job but it is not advisable because income from crypto is not stable.
394  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why Banks are attacking Bitcoin ? on: June 27, 2018, 04:13:34 AM
It is not profitable for large banks that cash flows go past them.  They want to make a profit on everything.

Banks were able to get money from people and use it to their advantage but having cryptocurrencies as additional competitor now is a pain for them. Many people are shifting their attention from saving their money in banks to investing in cryptocurrencies that's why some of them wanted to destroy the reputation of bitcoin so that others would be discouraged to invest on it but the more they discouraged it, the more people would like to invest in crypto because they can see the flaw of banks.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep safe your Bitcoin from hacker on: June 27, 2018, 03:58:42 AM
Using offline wallet or hardware wallet is help you to keep your bitcoin safe from hackers. Nowadays hacking attack is very common in crypto world. And also keep the password hard as much as you think and don't share it. As well don't use public network.

Saving your coins in a hardware wallet is the best way to keep your coins safe because they cannot access it since it is offline and one more mistake that people make is that there are times when they are overjoyed by their profits they sometimes post it in social media sites. Some hackers trace it and then try to have access to your coins. It would be better to be silent with your profits to keep away from the hackers eyes and there are other incidents too when  other people would go the house of that particular person to get hold of his coins. Always be vigilant people.

397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to play fast on trading ? on: June 26, 2018, 04:28:30 AM
Smart hands are seating throough this dip in cash, since long ago and ready to buy and double positions once the market is healthy again. I am here to make money and not show how strong my hands are hehe

And I bet those who are trading successfully and profitably wouldn't dare to say what their strategy is and for those who have so much gains in the cryptotrading scene wouldn't be here in the forum because they are busy analyzing the market. As I am just practicing to trade still and trying to be profitable, I guess there is no secret at all or a holy grail in trading because you can have your own strategy depending on what you are comfortable with. Just try and try and learn from your mistakes until you can come up with a strategy.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better for you shortest or longest bounty campaign period? on: June 26, 2018, 04:06:06 AM
I used to join and did not see the progress of the project so I get a bounty of a scam. now I see the progress of the sale first. if the project has reached a minimum of new softcap I join in the bounty. I prefer the signature or article campaign.

I guess this strategy is also good because when the softcap is already reached, the project will push through which would mean most likely that you will be paid. This is the risk of joining a bounty when it is in pre-ICO stage yet or its softcap is not yet reach because there is a possibility that they will just return the investors money and your effort in the project will be put in vain.

As for long or short term bounty, it would depend then if the bounty is given in stakes or fix amount because if it is stakes and they will continue to accept participants until the end of the bounty period then your share will become lesser and lesser while if the amount is fix then it would just be okay if the bounty is long as long as there is a higher possibility that it would be successful.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the price of ethereum dependent on bitcoin? on: June 26, 2018, 03:41:43 AM
Most people have the mindset that the price of ethereum rises with bitcoin and vice versa. How true is this?

Not only ethereum but all other altcoins as well. Bitcoin has a big role in the prices of other coins because it is a base coin and since it has the first mover advantage and has the biggest share in market capitalization so whatever happens to the price of bitcoin, it is like a mirror of what happens to the total market capitalization which includes other coins. I assume that majority of people holds bitcoin and they just want to secure their funds that's why whenever the price of base coin (bitcoin) goes down, they would sell because they would know that the altcoin they are holding will go down as well which includes ethereum.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty programs on: June 26, 2018, 03:25:54 AM
I think if you want to join bounty for now you have to be careful to choose because nowadays a lot of fraudulent gifts and not paying a prize to every participant. My advice if you want to join you must be clever to choose the gift. you should see and understand the bounty. whether it will actually run its project or not. especially you should be diligent in reading so that you are not wrong to choose the project that you follow. it's a suggestion that may well be useful.

There are many bounty campaigns nowadays and many of them are scam so it is up to you to determine whether joining a campaign is worth it or not by studying the project first and knowing the team behind and for you to determine if the project is viable or not because some are just too ambitious and they cannot even launch it. There are multiple ways to find a bounty campaign.

1. Go to services section for bitcoin paid bounties. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
2. Go to bounty section of altcoin for bounties paid in altcoin. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
3. You can just click this link to filter the newly listed campaigns by the time it is listed in the forum. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0;sort=first_post;desc
