Ok, Warning Noobish mixer questions.
My mixer is running on my old wallet.dat which have several address in them already.
Do I have to create a new wallet and have one address for the mixer for best results?

No, actually it works better with different address's as the mixer will automatically select the inputs from the various address's. |

There's no way in the world you can tell because it really could be from any one of of the inputs. Even if they guessed... there really is no hard "proof" that it's really true with undeniable plausibility.  Thanks to IE delayed but this is a heavy zoom in on that transaction with just 1 level of in/out selected (excl. the other TX's in those blocks) on my poc/alpha site: Coins flying everywhere  btw: im pretty sure atm i can comment out my code to identify wallets after rc7 That is a great visual... can't wait to see what it would like over time |

I have received numerous PM's from users running multiple wallets behind a single IP address, you can't use the XMIXER in that setup, you can only have 1 wallet with port forwarding

I think the low conf time is crucial as well! However, when I open the client, at the help>about XC I read the client as RC6, is this normal? I gues it wasnt updated? I downloaded ur RC7 dl link ofc Ah, your fast.... that is actually RC7 and I just fixed the build, so if you want to re-download you can, it will say RC7 if you re-download although you can use that as it is the rc7 code |

What you have ... Anon and masternode working since 4 month and getting paid since 1 month ? Don't speak about open source because right now its not ! There is no foundation behind your coin and its not coded for scalability without taking 4 month to add a simple new feature ! Its like building a house without foundation, if you add another level to it its going to fork the base... think about it ! Yes its working , i really like the simple autonode over the top bar ! Good way to show this is working ! The shortcut in the start menu is ok with all the argument but not the one on the desktop there is no argument in it, just to clarify  One more question ,you was speaking about "stacking=0" to add in the Xcurrency.conf file to stop the minting of the wallet, i have add it but i always see that its minting , that's right ? With this version, you can stake provided you have enough coins in your wallet.. so you can get stake interest and mixing fee's to turn off staking though use staking=0 (not stacking=0) Dan |

Dan i have installed XCurrency-XMIXER-Installer_2.49_RC6.exe but i dont see in the property of the shortcut the "-dismix-autonode" argument ? No need to add it ?
If you check the start menu/XCurrency, you should have a shortcut there called XCurrency-XMIXER-Installer Use that shortcut The wallet will say [autonode] on the top bar |

btw, am I reading this correctly, I think it means EVERY1 UPGRADE for best results?  If you want to run an XMIXER or send private transactions, yes upgrade. |

I would download the latest version and do the private transaction. tell me if you see the time scale of the transaction on the send coin page. like "processing" or something similar. You will need to wait a bit for the transaction to process is not like a regular transaction. if it fails it will said failed in the send part of the wallet in the same spot as there was "processing" before

You will need it open for private transactions I got 2 laptops, checked the port was open on my other laptop yesterday and it was, so presume it is? do you remember the site where you can check? P.S tried about 6 times now. keeps failing. edit - checked again, yes that port is open. V2.47 won't work... You need to be on v2.49rc3 |

Ok so I am back home after a very hard day at work lol ahah.. since yesterday at this time until now my RC3 Xmixer got two transactions mixed I believe, with a reward of 0.00042 and a fee of 0.00001 connections are now at 50

Dan Are you Here? Revenue is a bit low Indeed if we want mass adoption people will need to get more money from mixing then staking
The fee's can be adjusted if needed, but I think it is too early yet to quantify the revenue. Granted several updates are already in the pipeline which should improve those numbers |

Quick Question about this version... The link seems to be dead now, but this is the version I installed yesterday. Just checked the desktop shortcut and it doesn't have -distmix-autonode at the end of Target: Xcurrency\XCurrency-qt.exe" Should I add it? I've got 1002 coins in there and wallet unlocked completely but nothing since yesterday... ? Cheers. Have everything setup as per above, how can I see that its running as an xmixer?? wallet looks just the same as before :S
you cannot see it in the UI for the moment you will know that it is working when you will start to mix transactions. It will look like this: And how long will that take? Ive followed instructions to set up mixer but nothing has happened these last 8h... that port is open and my wallet is unlocked (for staking only though). Have I missed sth?? I believe the wallet has to be unlocked completely. Also a page or so back Dan has posted an installer for XMixer to be sure it is set up correctly. << my wallet is unlocked (for staking only though). >> You need to fully unlock for an xmixer to work |
