groestl is suggested by whattomine for a while. So I tried to mine those. What I basically did is I add groestl to list of algorithm in my miningpoolminer.
I see some output they produce and I tried to run it. It says your pool don't exist wrong username or something.
Notice that the -ewal in claymore that miningpoolminer set is also strange (but working). Instead of putting my wallet address it put my username at miningpoolhub. It's working
I've tested sgminer and it works with username 'aaronsace' but not username 'pornluver'. @MiningPoolHub can check your account. My username isn't pornluver. I changed it to hide my identity. The code that your miningpoolminer pop when I enable groestl and disable other algorithm is (along with the result) Bin\AMD-GenesisMining\sgminer.exe --api-listen -k groestlcoin -o stratum+ssl://hub.miningpoolhub.com:17004 -u pornluver -p x --gpu-threads 2 --worksize 128 --intensity d [22:45:55] Started sgminer 5.5.5-gm [22:45:55] * using Jansson 2.7 [22:45:56] Probing for an alive pool [22:46:56] No servers were found that could be used to get work from. It doesn't work. Any wrong settings?
Is this how to run sgminer?
You are best using MultiPoolMiner to get the most effective algorithm for your computer then set your auto exchange coin in MiningPoolHub to the coin that you want (i.e. bitcoin). https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/releases

1. Is there a way to put power calculation in? For example, equihash consumes lower power than ethash. How to tell multipoolminer to do equihash instead?
What does it mean multipoolminer earns 13% more than conventional mining?
2. Also should we donate to multipoolminer? I don't mind. I just want to know what feature will I miss if I don't.
3. Is Sia coin always the best for claymore as the second coin for dual mining?
4. Multipool miner says I would make .00253 BTC. I wonder where does it get the number. It says if I use Ethash/Sia I would make .0024 BTC. Again, where is that number come from? This ClaymoreDual30 {Ethash, Sia} {29.69 MH/s, 445.36 MH/s} {0.00180, 0.00017} suggest that I would make only .00197 btc per day. Not .00253 btc per day.
1. Power calculation is coming with real time wattage monitoring. The best way currently is to simply knock a percentage off the hash rate by editing the files in the folder called 'miners'. conventional: pertaining to the accepted usage of using one mining algorithm 2. It's completely free but I really appreciate any support that you can give to the project. 3. MiningPoolHub only has Sia at the moment and would like to support this pool. Feel free to add more pools in the pools folder if you so wish. 4. All the stats are stored as plain text in the folder called 'stats' for your perusal. You may notice a slight difference between your live stats and daily/weekly averages if you have only just started using the program. For dual mining: Is LBRY/DRC going to add anytime soon?
keep up the good work.
Oh really sorry about the delay. I'm working on various parts of pools. I'll open DCR pool first.

I would hope MPH makes a small profit....servers need to get paid, owners need to eat.
The pool fee ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) The owners are probably millionaires for a long time now. I seriously doubt that.

Dude, Check this screenshot For scrypt algorithm it is FAR more profitable to mine gamecredit or sex coin. Yet, ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ibb.co%2Fmovzva%2F2017_03_22.png&t=663&c=uqDx1RmXz_8smw) see what hub.multipoolhub.com choose You kidding me? It has to find a coin first; if it just kept switching then nobody would get anything.

Would the no-color command work in the start.bat and turn off all color?
Not sure what colour you are referring to. If it's within Claymore miners, edit the files in the 'miners' folder using notepad.

aaronsace, I have a multipoolminer questions. If I open the code up and enter my username (where it says username) and switch the above to false, I would be able to mine without entering my username on startup?
Hey, there is a custom command line included in the 'start.bat' file that should help you greatly. Could never get the start.bat to work until literally right now. Always just launched multipoolminer.ps1. Had switched you code for region and everything worked fine, blocked x11 and qubit too. I also just copy/pasted then edited ccminer v2.0 into it too (works great for cryptonight and lyra2z). There are now native commands for limiting the algorithms in v2.5 of MultiPoolMiner and have included ccminer v2. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Dude do you have a page where all the pool 17xxx is located?
For example, hub.multipoolhub.com:17004 is for groetsl. However, where in your page it is written? I sort of figure that out my self.
It seems that we can always go to hub.multipoolhub.com isn't it? Only the port number change?
hub.multipoolhub.com works for every algorithm but there are some EU and US servers as well. The ports are on the main page; 17XXX algorithm ports at the top and 20XXX individual coin ports at the bottom. You display BTC/GHzDay. Where do you get those numbers? Do you take into account the actual price of the alt coins and the actual current difficulty? What?
Everything is accounted for; it's quite accurate. Is there a table where you can match things up? I know that nicehash' daggerhashimoto is your Ethash. What about the lyra2re and lyra2rev2 that correspond to what?
No table but you are correct. What happens if I buy traffic from nicehash and send it to you and got a wrong port? Will your pool reject and nicehash close my order or what?
NiceHash will detect that kind of failure and temporarily disable the order. Be careful buying hash; you will most likely lose money.

Is it possible for the Pool to reduce the Bitcoin withdrawal fee? 0.0001BTC would be ideal. If not ,why?
I think if the fee was free then it could be abused because MiningPoolHub still has to pay a fee.

What means "normalized profit" on "AUTO SWITCHING PORTS PER ALGO. SORTED FOR AMD GPU" page on miningpoolhub? If i have 0,334 ETH/day and normalized profit is 2,2 (ethereum) - how i can calculate my real profit ( USD, BTC etc )? What means 2,2 coefficient and what it really shows?
MultiPoolMiner can calculate that information: https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMinerOh, i know that, but i want know what the difference (for example) between "normalized profit is 2,0" and "normalized profit is 1,0"? What it means? It means that i will have a double shares rate on this pool or i will have a double profit in BTC value mined? Or i will have double rate whattonmine value of a day profit in USD etc? It's just normalised for ranking; I don't think it has any proper meaning as a value on it's own.

Hello I am looking for algo switching pool.
For example, say I got a supplier for qubit
Your website says Algo switch mining (Port 17XXX) We provide auto switching port for each algo. These ports switch coins time to time to mine the most profitable coin. Best for Rental, ASIC, FPGA miners.
Where exactly I can find that?
I do not see list of port 17xxx
Also is there a way to pretty much state to you I want to mine qubit. I do not care what you mine I am supplying qubit stuff?
What's the difference between algo switching and multi algo switching?
This may seem like an obvious question. Algo switching means the algo is the same and your pool switch coins. Multi algo switching means your algo switch algo and coins based on whichever works on my machine.
However, the 12xxx is supposedly multi algo switching right? Guess what? Each algo has it's own port. It doesn't make sense. If I send to a specific port that seems like that port only support one algo.
What is your fee?
Is your simpler pool have lower fee than your switching pool?
That's one long post. The 17XXX ports are on the main page: miningpoolhub.com17XXX ports are for switching between coins across one algorithm 12XXX ports are for switching between coins across multiple algorithms 12XXX ports are hard to setup; I recommend just using MultiPoolMiner instead: https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/releasesAll pool fees are 0.9%

you are wrong, easiest check is to split your hashrate into two groups - one with multiple users(or workers if pool uses vardiff per worker and not per account) and second with a single(BADASSTHATROBUSALL) user for the pool and compare the outcome.
multipool is using coinhopping and you do not force all to coinhop by closing single port mining, all hoppers are being penalized by PPLNS, smart miner would do anti-hopping here by mining one coin straight and get that penalty as his bonus.
I think the multicoin ports switch at the right times without getting penalized; doesn't just follow the profitability. PPLNS just stops people hopping in quickly at the right moment and getting an unfair pay-out.

Will do and thanks for the super quick replies.
Does the fact that I 3 monitors from the gpu have an impact?
Not quite sure what you are referring to but if you've changed something that effects the speed just remove it. Sorry. I left out a word. I have a 3 monitor setup on this card. As I'm watching the benches it's looking like 3.5 mh/s eth still. If that is the speed that it says on the claymore screen then it is correct. Try updating the files in the bin folder to the new version: https://mega.nz/#F!O4YA2JgD!n2b4iSHQDruEsYUvTQP5_w(Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred_Siacoin_Lbry_Pascal AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 - Catalyst 15.12 - CUDA 8.0_7.5_6.5.zip)

Hi there. Big newb here. I've done a lot of tinkering and have been using the multipoolminer power shell script I downloaded. I got it to go through all of the benchmarks and have it going through the multialgorythm. What I'm wondering is why it has never chosen to mine Ethereum or Ethereum Classic. I have results from those benchmarks and some. The claymoreDual40, 30 and 20 are listed under type amd, nvidia but are never used to mine. Based on the profitbility cals on the front page and my limited experience mining Eth before I would expect there to be some mining time on them. I have GTX 970 on one machine and a 1070 on another machine and the same things seems to occur.
I'm wondering what I might need to tweak to really get through all the best algos.
Thanks.
