381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone [JAN 2020] Discussion on: November 29, 2019, 12:12:38 PM
McGregor is more a clown than a giant. Especially after the Nurmagomedov rhetoric before the game.

I will skip all of his future events, at least until he proves himself being a normal man, not a clown.

My bet is going to Donald Cerrone. Sportingbet is having it at 3.00!

He prove himself in the ring many times before. He won belt though having a fucked up attitude. Hated by everyone but I admired the most. Despite the attitude, and the hates he receiving from countless of people, he still accept the fact that he is a damn intelligent fighter inside the ring. It never backfires mate, it is just either the opponent is better than him or he had a not-so-good decision at the time he about to lose. So, I'll still bet on Conor because he is good fighter. I am not trying to be bias but looking upon his fighting style, he is still worthy of wearing the championship belt.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: November 29, 2019, 11:24:02 AM
Pen and paper seems a waste. You could use notepad or some computer software stuff that records. Well, anyway, I am not typically a technical gambler wherein I do some weird stuff to came up with a solution 'cause I believe in one result, it is just either you win or you lose. What must be recorded is that how much money have been taken away from you, and if you have hit your planned to stop in such day. Though I'd like to try such experiment 'cause I ain't know what mathematical formula I would derived from it for me to get more winning.
383  Economy / Economics / Re: If we can see a country with 'Bitocin standard' monetary system on: November 29, 2019, 08:42:54 AM
I'd like to see this one. However bitcoin supply is finite thus, it won't last at some point in time. Though price is fluctuating but in some point in condition. In addition, bitcoin in by default at exactly every 4 years supply is halving which on the other hand has a direct effect in the economy. Bitcoin can act as money but fiats cannot act as crypto.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: November 28, 2019, 06:03:05 PM
More a problem though, when taking it personally. However, we have come in a while untaxed by government which is why they got the idea of doing it in between of transaction so on and so forth. While, P2P is obviously the untouchable one. Mostly here are making fortune in crypto thus an income which is equivalent to a job that the nation has to offer to such individual that makes the spot left alone. Which is in the ideology of the government aren't good for economy specially when countless of people are doing it. Well, in my opinion, it may come forth a personal issue to us but we have been committing tax offenses till now on. We must at least comply to those KYC stuff over and converting crypto to fiats with tax, we must at least reconsidered it as gratitude for the government for somehow allowing us to have handle crypto currency in our nation. Imagine it like a capital asset which in reality bounded by taxes.
385  Economy / Economics / Re: Does halving really create deflation? on: November 28, 2019, 04:53:27 PM
Deflation is a decrease of price of services and goods. In economics deflation usually occurs when the supply is too high that it cannot fulfill the demand. Deflation is a wrong context in halving, bitcoin has its own limited supply. It was designed by Satoshi to keep bitcoin inflation in check. Imagine if bitcoin is infinite and it is regularly created it would make definitely bitcoin to decrease its value since there are too many bitcoin in circulation. Halving was designed to keep bitcoin inflation under control. Since the supply decreases the demand increases, and so the inflation exist.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: November 28, 2019, 03:48:31 PM
Maybe it's asked before, still, it will help us a lot.

Why do you gamble?
Some sort of entertainment. It is fun to play game and win, and in additional you win with money. It is makes the game more exciting. Well, I am not totally addicted with it I just find it enjoying.
Quote
Why do you do not invest that money instead?
I invest, I just don't think of adding up another additional money. Instead the money I save for me for personal expense is the thing I use for gambling.
Quote
Why you do not donate them?
I donate. Well, again the money I saved for my personal expenses is the thing I use whenever I play gambling.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Damaged salary on: November 27, 2019, 06:02:50 PM
Time is the absolute thing we can rely on specially on this. We cannot deny the fact that it is totally devastating to loss a money by the reason of time ONLY and we are the responsible one from it, it is not from techinical or other out door factors that cause to me to loss such money but me itself whom are responsible to loss money because of my recklessness.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 7 on: November 27, 2019, 03:22:25 PM
I was so busy for our upcoming competition for Robotics at school that's why I wasn't able to come up with a crazy idea yesterday, and actually even now I wasn't so sure about a thing so here's a little bit easy for all of you.

What if you have a kid on the house and you're currently making bets online and you accidentally have a phone call or what so ever thing you might do on that time and suddenly the kid mistook it for some fancy game and make bets on his/her own, would you be upset and get angry to the kid? Or would you rather trust a child's play on this scenario?
Either way if I bet on something still the chances are half percent. Though the kid is accidentally did and not by self purpose. First thing first is that I am responsible for what did happened; living my device hanging, and vulnerable to possible other unauthorized access. Hence, I won't be blaming the kid from what did happened and let the situation pass around. Who knows that it might be my lucky bet.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does provably fair environment ensure the survival of gambling houses. on: November 26, 2019, 01:37:17 PM
Fair environment? I don't think there is a fair environment in those gambling houses. Gambling sites are always winning this. Besides when we says fair environment we are always thinking about gambler-centered environment though it is but the thing is, it is either win or go home lose. Applying the idea of fair environment, it would be all about the player and not the system itself, it will turn out to be more like their gain came from rental stuff, entrance something like that.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: November 26, 2019, 11:40:45 AM
I usually bet on this. But as usually happens in this huge event. The one who host the event sometimes wins the medal. So i'll go with Philippines though uncertain but the spirit in their are strong enough to out play other participants. Like with Pacquiao's recent match, regardless of his age he still manage to defeat his younger opponent with just the spirit and love in the sport itself.
391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are dropping too much... on: November 26, 2019, 09:14:44 AM
Bitcoin prices are dropping too much...
Maybe on the recent uptrend are being overbought thay leads to such downfall. It happens usually right after a recent event like what did happened wayback last 2017.
Quote
Is there a possibility of a rise in the future?
Well, yes. Specially halving is near to come particularly in mid 2020. Both halving after a year rose abnomarly. Like what happened in 2012.
Quote
If you say yes, when will the trend turn around?
May be in 2021? Quite for sure since halving will come in 2020.
Quote
And how much will Bitcoin prices go up on end of this year?
Still uncertain about this. Since the nature of crypto is quite hard to predict given with the analysis, and so on chart.
392  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's a BUY flag on: November 26, 2019, 08:20:37 AM
Has Bitcoin change? Did it fork, was it hacked, is it any less useful as a medium of exchange?
The ONLY reason the price is down is because somebody somewhere out there decided to
dump it at this price, not because Bitcoin is suddenly less valuable. Exchange prices can be
easily manipulated (fiat banks) and are highly sensitive to the unpredictable decisions of big
traders who are acting on emotion. Whenever this happens, it's a huge BUY flag.
Yes, and will always be. Price changes are highly sensitive in dumping. It is always a good thing in a sense of opportunity to buy loads of bitcoin knowing that bitcoin price may soar in future specially halving is near to come. The only way this wouldn’t be a good thing is if you think Bitcoin is dead, and it is heading down to Ground Zero which is not, and highly impossible to happened.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: New bill would make Facebook’s cryptocurrency a security under the law on: November 25, 2019, 01:43:43 PM
Good sign though. And this is the thing facebook have been long currently waiting. Though it is in the way, it is still not sure on what would be the result of this proposed bill. Looking back then, government in US (if I remember it correctly) are asking stupid question about facebook stuff particularly about its own security. It just crossed my mind that, what if, they are still holding such idealism with regards to facebook and not to libra itself upon approving this bill.
394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for current bloodbath on: November 25, 2019, 12:06:00 PM
We have seen a overall bloodbath of all the crypto currencies and bitcoin being no expectation, but most of the users had predicted a dump before pump which could possibly happen post halving but isn't it too early that we are witnessing this dump? What do you think has created this dump?

It is in the nature of crypto currency being unpredictable. In addition, you have stated that majority are expecting a dump before pump but we had experienced pump early than pump in which must not happened. Though I do think that it is natural that such dump must be happened, well anyway I do think it won't get below 6k mark though it closely approach.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: November 25, 2019, 06:53:32 AM
Get rich and be unhappy. It is okay not to be wealthy but at least I am living my life to the fullest. Material things ain't always there, and surely I can't bring it into heaven. Memories, happiness, belonginess are the few basic necessities of every individual. Besides it is more good to live in a normal life rather than being wealthy but the feels are insufficient.
396  Economy / Speculation / Re: trump is the cause of drop prices bitcoin on: November 25, 2019, 05:33:10 AM
since the commentaire of trump on twitter before three month prices already starting falling
but should trump make another twitter about bitcoin but this time positive and give prices bullish trend?
is the governoment playing with prices bitcoin?
does trump and givernements love bitcoin or not?

No, and I don't think it will work that way. And besides I don't think trump does even care about crypto currency. Yes, influence plays a great role in terms of this but the thing is trump has lots of opposing followers, and looking upon that I don't think those people are willing to take the risk that crypto currency has to offer. Lastly, few governments are into bitcoin majority are not.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: Negative interest rates in Germany on: November 24, 2019, 01:18:14 PM
Maintenance as it is. If it were secured though why not stocking it, in such bank. Though talking money wise, everybody would literally be switching choices right away. And I as well, who would've like to get their money lower than it is. Besides, those wealthy enough people wouldn't care about such thing existing. Not worthy of their attention.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listed exchange matters on: November 24, 2019, 11:29:30 AM
Yes it really matter. Getting listed in such platforms specially those big one are an assurance for the users who are looking for a projects who are good, and will surely be fruitful. It became an assurance in a sense it is quite tough to get listed in those platforms when the project itself are futile, and incapable of having a place on those platforms.
399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Roles of participants in Btc market (who are hodlers, etc.) on: November 24, 2019, 04:14:27 AM
Behaviors aren't a norm here. Basically, hodlers are those who holds crypto for quite a long time waiting for the market to change into their idea for them to sell in a price where they would get a profit, while speculators are those sophisticated investors who are working in a shorter time frame that executes strategies to get profit from market changes.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 24, 2019, 01:33:47 AM
How can you control your mindset while gambling, this is really not easy I must say you are drawn to playing it over and over again it doesn't matter if you are winning or losing
This is something close to being impossible. Controlling mindset may apply prior to playing which is you recently stated.
Quote
Set your target~ before a days gambling you should have in mind what you want to win or what you can afford to lose its easier send than done I know but with constant practice you might just develop the mindset.
Well, this is as well can be applied in different things like trading. Having a plan is like being ready to any sort of problem that are possible of to came out, thus, minimizing potential loss.
Quote
Get engaged in other things~ other than this helping out it can also fetch you funds that can be used for gambling or any other uses.
Sometimes applicable specially when you are getting straight loses, for just to change pace.
