I'm really confused, whats going on with BTC price?
It's supposed to go down as people already got their free BTG after the fork but instead it rised to 5.8k?
I believe its related to whales but there's something here I couldnt understand.
In this past bitcoin fork, there was a very high drip in the price of bitcoin as to compare with that of August 1st. The price of bitcoin is coming slow and gentle, which means before there will be a huge dip again,that won't come soon. |

My first rule of daily trading is simply don't do it at all.
It truly is not a good idea doing day trading, I don't day trade, and will not advise anybody to do so. If you are not smart, you can't gain it, so, it's better you arrange well watch the market chart and know when it will be favorable for you to trade. |

Well, everyone has their way of viewing things. For me, I will say invest into bitcoin and wait for that 5 years and you will have a good profit. Investing into ETH is good too, but the margin between them will be high.
In a practical aspect, invest of them both with 50% on each and see what you get by the end of the year.

I will sell my bitcoins to make a higher profit at its maximum price peak. One thing is certain, not all will be sold. I usually sell and then I buy.. and then I sell and then I buy... etc..
Now, selling is good but not selling all, Sell some percentage and hold the remaining, cause of the increase in price which always occur. |

And you saying before the end of the year hmm, let us not wish for that, cause if that happens, people who invested hugely will be in a point of complete loss. And we who where there with bitcoin when it was at that price will not find it likely too. |

i tried to calculate how much would i make from bitcoin mining using an antminer s9, and i don't think it's worth it for me as the cost of electricity is high where i live, which is in the UK (it's 20 cents approx), i make like $300 profit a year. and obviously i can't use faucets as that will take years to get one bitcoin. so is the only way to even get any value from bitcoin is to buy it and hold it on for another few years? but it is a risky investment due to the price. or should i invest in new currencies that are cheap right now and have potential to grow to $4k a coin?  If you can't afford the risk of buying a full bitcoin,it will be better you invest into some good altcoins or join some good ICOs and wait for a potential rise in the price, sell and convert to bitcoin. Or, if you have good services to provide in the forum, that will be good too. |

Bitcoin is still going up along side with the year. All Altcoins has one good thing with the other, but when it comes to bitcoin, the changes they are possessing can do nothing. Now that it's been proven there are many other alternatives to Bitcoin which have advantages such as quicker transactions, smaller fees, and higher mining profitability, I don't see a reason to think Bitcoin will get to $10,000.
Will the price of Bitcoin still go up? It seems so outdated when compared to its competitors.
I think it will still increase before this year end, maybe as high as 7500$ only if the hardfork will be successful because it will be a huge factor on the increase of its value just like the recent one. At this moment, dumps and pumps are taking place respectively, and maybe it is because of the incoming hardfork. After the hardfork, its value will surely rise. We just need to patiently wait for it. The reason make the price of Bitcoin can increased in past days is the event receive Bitcoin Gold from the hardfork, but after hardfork completed, how many traders still keep Bitcoin while the price of altcoins are very cheap? For me, I will exchange all my Bitcoin to Altcoins as soon as possible.  For sure the price of bitcoin will go up before the year runs out, and the fork has to be successful, cause it is the major factor for the rise in price of bitcoin. Just hold your bitcoins till the end of the year and you will get answer for your question as price is already moving up in recent past few days and if everything goes fine after the fork then be ready for the extra ordinary price of bitcoin which is expected to reach at the time of Christmas. Yeah definitely it is true but I guess for the mean time we need to withdraw our savings in bitcoin, because I have a feeling that this coming segwit is a big threat to fall down the bitcoin value. However it also depends to the owners of accounts if they can hold it for long time ago or they withdraw it. All I said is an opinion and this is my strategy to lessen the risk of my profit. From your view, it's a good idea, cause till the fork is over no one knows what is ahead of the price of bitcoin. But one thing is still certain, the price will rise. |
