381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price be $20000 next year? on: January 04, 2020, 06:01:04 AM
I mean the halving is here.

Guys,what do you think?
Actually it is hardly to speculate if Bitcoin will have $20,000 just like before but I am pretty sure that Bitcoin will pump. Much better if we will take the opportunity of having a cheap price to purchase so that when the market enter the bullish trend it would be quite good profit. Everyone in the community have positive speculation that this would he a great year for Bitcoin so all we need to do is just to hung in there and wait for the uptrend.
382  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Big invest in bitcoin on: January 04, 2020, 05:19:55 AM
I want to big invest in bitcoin. But I want to know your opinion. Is my invest will profitable at this time?
Short term investment or long term investment will best for me?
I saw bitcoin market price is some cheap at this time. So I can decide to bitcoin invest?
I don't think that your investment will be profitable right now due to the fact we were still in bearish trend. And due to this circumstances we have now probably long term investment will be much better compared to short time investment. Bitcoin's price are now cheap so it is better if you will take the opportunity to purchase.
383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons for traders to look at! on: January 03, 2020, 03:40:50 PM
Isn't number 1 and 4 almost the same? Like the idea of over trading happens because greed overcomes your rationality of deciding to trade slowly and effectively. Also, the 4 given are mostly mistakes made by newbies. The struggles occur because of their lack of experience and knowledge regarding how to trade and so, problems occur, so simplest solution is to let experience take its place, and gradually, newbies that trade would slowly learn the advantages and disadvantages of the certain actions they do, thereby improving their efficiency as traders.
Not gonna lie, the experience is the most important thing you can acquire. If someone has enough experience and knowledge there's no doubt that he/she can manage his trade more efficient. I am not saying that tips and guides of someone else are bad in fact this would be really helpful in some cases but much better if we ourselves seek knowledge through our own experience.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: January 03, 2020, 03:11:31 PM
From my personal experience I used, I paid about $ 70 a month, and I got a ticket every 2 days with odds 3-4, I was not satisfied, I guessed poorly (more precisely that tipser), out of 15 tickets, the hits were 7. which is very bad for that odds. I lost a lot on that, so I'm interested in your experience?
My advice is to never pay for tips and wage a bet, there is no fun in doing that, if you are a fan of the sport you will be having the knowledge about the game and make sure that you only wage a bet on the match you know and do not go with other people's predictions, everything i s available including the past performance and if you are having an algorithm to calculate the present form then you will have an idea about the match and make sure you monitor everything about the sport you are waging including injury concerns.
Exactly. I think paying just to get for a tip is not fair because there are some tips that are only working others but not yours just like strategies. If you are going to get a tip I would recommend that you should take it for free so that even if you lose it would not be that much fatal. Or else observe and explore what tips you might discover. Better if we will use our own intuition rather than taking someone else but these are only based on my experience the decision is still yours.
385  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What’s Stopping Crypto Markets from Entering the Mainstream on: January 03, 2020, 02:43:54 PM
Things may not be quite as ostentatious as they were in 2017, but cryptocurrencies are having an outstanding year. Not only has their collective market cap quadrupled since the start of the year, but they are enjoying bullish sentiment on many fronts. ( In macro look)

Whether it’s the unmistakable entrance of institutional investors into the crypto space or the fact that you can buy a latte with Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies are undoubtedly trending higher. Even Facebook, the world’s most popular social media platform, is entering the fray, introducing its cryptocurrency, Libra to its 2.5 billion users.

Consider these growth metrics for the crypto sector:

84% of respondents to a PwC executive survey are dabbling in crypto’s underlying technology, the blockchain
89% of the U.S. population has heard of Bitcoin, a 12% increase since 2017
11% of the U.S. population has invested in a cryptocurrency
34,660,975 people have created a blockchain wallet, a number that has risen every quarter since 2016.

More info and source here

Taken together, it’s clear that crypto is making significant inroads at many levels of financial and technological space. And yet, obstacles remain to crypto investment markets becoming normative and broadly accepted. Even though cryptos are outperforming every other major investment vehicle in 2019, including stocks, bonds, gold, and oil, they remain a fringe industry.

What do you think is the real reason Crypto is not becoming Mainstream?

I think Crypto is hardly entering the mainstream simply because our society is not ready yet for this kind of monetary system. Besides, due to some issues on government like the prohibition of this technology is having really a big impact. Could be one reason is that Crypto is too abstract. Though investors who have already experienced using this in their transaction there are still a large number of people who have to prefer to invest in physical objects such as golds. Therefore. there are lots of factors that could still affect Crypto upon entering the mainstream but if we will give some more time for people to understand I am pretty sure that this will eventually become mainstream.
386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: January 03, 2020, 02:02:36 PM
I always assume that Bitcoin will be able to run again in 2017. And now more and more companies and countries are embracing Bitcoin, so in my opinion Bitcoin is more and becoming more and more popular. The price of bitcoin is going down right now, but I don't think it's the end of bitcoin. Bitcoin's rising and falling prices are popular. So I'm not worried and I'm sure the price of bitcoin will be more costly in the future with all the features and benefits of bitcoin.
In my point of view, Bitcoin is not yet over and I do believe that it is just getting started hence, we could see Bitcoin in a bull run just like what it had before or probably even more. Like what you have said and based on what we have observed upon our society, the world is gradually accepting the utilization of these cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin. A lot of big business enterprise who have been acknowledged of these cryptocurrencies and by these circumstances, this could lead to massive adoption.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: I Bet Bitcoin Reaches $10k In the Next 5-7 Days! on: January 03, 2020, 12:43:47 PM
Anyone wants to take me on a bet Bitcoin price reaches $10,000+ in 5-7 days? After the bitcoin's record breaking network hash rate news come out, BTC lost $300+ (traded below $7k), then gain $500+ within hours.
I think 5-7 days is not enough time for Bitcoin price to increase around $10,000 though this currency is volatile and it happened before this will not be enough reason to grow in such a short time. Looking to the market we have now I guess it will take a month before we saw it at that price. Probably, we Bitcoins price will only play around $7-8 at the given time.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any change this year? on: January 02, 2020, 03:47:08 PM
What are you going to do with 2020, give up or continue to survive.
Quitting and give up is definitely an out of option especially now knowing that halving is getting closer. I am pretty sure that there will be big changes in crypto space this year, probably after the halving, we could see the growth of cryptocurrencies. Hence, I will choose to continue even if it didn't go to as I expected then I will still choose to continue because I have faith in it. I already saw once what are the capabilities of this technology and what it can give so I will never leave it at any all cost.
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any trading chat rooms? on: January 02, 2020, 03:26:34 PM
Trading chat rooms are existing but the problem is most of its members are dumb because they are so dependent to its fellow members. They always asking a trading tips and signal in specific groups. There are trading chat rooms also that keep giving fake information to its members so I do not join in trading chat rooms because of the high risks. It is safe if we will ignore and not seek any trading chat rooms.
Agree with it, there are already trading platform wherein you can copy the trader's style of trading on which I think is perfect if you are busy in the outside world but you're still eager to trade. But chat rooms? that will just result to spammers promoting different stuffs and prone to false information for their own advantage on which beginners are vulnerable to fall for.
Exactly. There's a lot of trading chat rooms, there are some good ones and of course, there will be some bad ones. It is very easy to join in some chat rooms but I would recommend it much better if we will still rely on our self-knowledge because not all the information in chatrooms is truth there will be some false information that could cause mislead and more.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel more lucky than usual when it's New Year's. on: January 02, 2020, 03:05:20 PM
I lived in this misconception, once before the New Year I had a good profit, and it happened again 2 years in a row.
I thought I was more lucky when the New Year.
Of course this is not true, the casino never changes under the influence of the social factor.
The casino is the same as always no change.
Or maybe there is?
As far as I know, casinos will stay the same as it always, unless there will be some changes in the strategy of a particular casino. No matter what social factor it is or event casinos will be the same. If you felt lucky every New Year then why not maximize it and use it to gain profit that would be great. However, probably it is just a coincidence where you have trigger your luck every New Year because as far as I know luck is randomly triggered it could be triggered on your normal days but not always on special events.
391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Closing Price On 2019? What do you think this year 2020 will be? on: January 02, 2020, 02:29:19 PM
For me closing price for bitcoin in 2020 will be 20,000$ or more this is because of bitcoin halving that will effect the bitcoin price,  but this is only speculation because we don't know what the problem and issue will happen now in year 2020. Hopefully full of adoption and awareness will happen so that price of bitcoin increases further.
It is possible. However, though Bitcoin halving will happen this year it is still vague if it will reach $20,000 but anyway through the help of more countries that will accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies we could able to see Bitcoin attain that value or even more. I think this year 2020 will be the year where the world will gradually acknowledge and accept this blockchain technology or we could simply say massive adoption.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to 2020, the year of cryptocurrency bull market. on: January 01, 2020, 03:07:50 PM
I really do hope that bullish trend comes after Bitcoin halving though it still vague if it will really go for the bull no to be like what happened on Litecoin halving. Much better if we will prepare ourselves and accumulate more cheap coins that have the potential to give high returns. I have a hunch that this year 2020 will be the year where crypto regains what it lost these past years and hopefully with the passing of 2019, the bear market will be over.
393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: January 01, 2020, 02:41:50 PM
what I experience now is difficult for me to be able to get a big opportunity in my day trading, and the difficulty now is to be able to predict the price of altcoin, several times I make purchases of coins that I choose to trade tend to always go down, and I beg tips with all that there are those here who are proficient in day trading so that I can trade well and can benefit.
It is really tough to earn a big profit right now probably because we are still in the bearish trend but let see if there will be some changes after halving. I guess day trading right now isn't a good option to earn big profit due to the fact that most of the crypto coins even the Bitcoin itself is almost stable at a low price. I think it should be better if you buy and hold it for now and wait till the market goes well.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: January 01, 2020, 02:16:32 PM
If someone bet and he suffers a big loss and then goes here to ask a little help from you, are you willing to give him help?
Have you ever experienced something like that, how do you deal with this loss?
Honestly, I haven't tried to bet and lose a huge amount of money upon playing gambling games because I simply use this gambling as a means of entertainment and if I hit the jackpot randomly then that would be great, however, that seems impossible. Anyway, I think the help only I can provide is to encourage him/her to not spend a lot of money in just a game but rather use it for investment. I am not totally saying that he should leave the gambling but rather have a discipline or limitations and spend only the money you can only afford to lose.
395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price in January 2020 will touch 10k, What do you think? on: January 01, 2020, 01:40:55 PM
As per several news and analysts ,
Bitcoin will touch 10k in the month of January.

Well, I think it is too sudden but who knows Crypto market is really unpredictable. Probably, after the halving Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will gradually regain and we will go back at bullish market however, it is still vague so better if we will still prepare for this. Much better if we will hoard more cheap yet really promising coins for us to get a high return as bullish market comes.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin experience in 2019 on: January 01, 2020, 01:12:44 PM
Hey I'm back. haven't been on the forum for 1.5 yrs. Been on Twitter. But yeh 2019 was a good year for me in crypto.  1. I had too much in alt coins ,tron, and didn't gain much of it. My stack went all the way up. From btc. Then I saw my stack crashed down lol. It was amazing. But yeh still got a chunk back from hodling in 2017. I have been buying the whole year from 11k down. Little by little. I stayed for the 2020, 100k price well that didn't happen. Let's see the halvening now. Also stayed for the 1 million price prediction. I feel stocks is running n gunning at a good pace. But I'm still stacking satoshis.

I think it is good decision that you have purchsed a lot of cheap altcoins because this will really be a big thing if the bullish market will come after halving. 2019 is not really bad at all though we barely saw it pump and mostly in dump state we could still use this disadvantage to buy cheap coins and earn profit as bull market comes.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020 Bitcoin halving!!! Bull run??? on: December 31, 2019, 06:06:35 PM
The crypto industries and communities has been quite expecting the upcoming bitcoin halving with much hope of another bull run coming up after the bull run failed in 2018 through 2019 now we all looking at the 2020 with the halving as an excuse to trigger the bulls to start running 🏃.

I personally is not putting much expectations on this, no one should fall for the hype. After what happened to the litecoin halving this year, I Don't expect too much from bitcoin.

Too many eyes on bitcoin now, too many interests are more reason why you shouldn't expect so much from the next halving. There will definitely be a bullish move but not as much as we anticipate or what most analysts has predicted.

The next bull run will come unexpectedly all you need to do is stay focused.

2020 is 2 days away trade and invest wisely. 2018 was hell to many investors don't be part of the sad story next year.

Happy new year in advance
Well honestly I don't put too much expectations on it but I do still hope that there will be a bull run occur after the halving and I do take the risk of buying cheap coins as well. Regarding with Litecoin halving I think it is different from Bitcoin so I guess if Bitcoin will pump other coins will do so. Perhaps halving of other altcoins is not comparable in Bitcoin.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the hot topics of crypto in 2019? on: December 31, 2019, 03:35:46 PM
I think the best event was Chinese president statement in which he emphasized that China should go for blockchain adoption and this resulted in biggest bull run of 2019 taking BTC to 12000$.

I'm not really sure if the price of bitcoin is going up because of China's president's statement about adopting blockchain technology, because as far as we know that their government now only wants to develop blockchain technology in their country but they really hate bitcoin or cryptocurrency to be used as a means of payment or transaction another.
Though China are now adopting the Blockchain technology I don't think it will have a big impact on the price movement of Bitcoin. Remember that they're just only adopt Blockchain because they want to develop their own digital currency. In addition, I don't think China doesn't totally not like Bitcoin because if they do I think they will terminate the Bitcoin mining in their country.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: two gambling games that are players favorite on: December 30, 2019, 04:27:29 PM
There are two games gamblers like this are card games and dice games ive seen people who look for this games everywhere , because this games are easy to learn and dont need too much effort how to do it, at the same time there is a bit high chance to win, aside from other games do you agree with me, feel free to share ypur opinion thanks
Personally, my favorite gambling games among them all is dice simply because it is very easy to play, doesn't require a huge amount of money to enjoy and seems provably fair since it is been randomly programmed but it depends on the. The dice game is what I've been playing since I enter in this gambling industry. I think the next one famous game across the world of gambling is poker though I never played it and I always heard it on the gamblers.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: December 30, 2019, 01:27:03 PM
You know how this is going to end. You might be trying to lie to yourself, you might be secretly hoping that some token in your "portfolio" that you have 10 million of is going to moon to $50 and make you rich, but let's be real: that is not going to happen. Even the allegedly strong altcoins like LTC or ETH or whatever is cool these days (I've been out of this game for a while) are not doing well and BTC dominance is growing. Which makes sense if you think about it. BTC can do most of what any altcoin can do and the few really useful features that BTC is missing (private transactions for example) are implemented by multiple altcoins, fragmenting their market share.

And the elephant in the room: 99% of altcoins are total garbage. They're called shitcoins for a reason.

Sell your altcoins and tokens. Take the proceeds in BTC, stick it into a cold wallet, keep some online to play around with Lightning and other things that actually matter for real-life stuff, like being able to buy something. When was the last time you were able to use for example Ethereum for something tangible, not to buy some garbage tokens or to play a game?

Do it today. Your grandkids will thank you.
I admit that most of the altcoins are not worthy of any investment or something but I do think there are still good altcoins just like Ethereum, BNB, LTC and more. I think altcoins are not doing good is just because we are still in bear trend even Bitcoin is affected just like what you have mentioned. I think you should still consider to place an investment in some altcoins like in Top-ranked coins since they have the capabilities of giving a high return just like what Bitcoin can give.
