381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REQUEST FOR GAS FEE TO GET PAID ARE SCAM. on: October 05, 2019, 03:09:55 PM
I have participated some airdrops before and to be honest it is just like bounty ,
It is gone now you would only get some useless token for your effort,
But if I am not mistaken back then I also tried this gas fee for their token and I could say out of 10 I manage to get at least 1 airdrop that actually have a value.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice - A small mistake emptied my wallet. on: October 05, 2019, 01:35:18 PM
For the record you are not the only one who made that mistake .
I have done it before but I was lucky to win on the game.
And this is what most newbie's in crypto have faced before those zero's are really something that you always have to double check before sending or starting a game.
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: is the market building up towards another bog FOMO? on: October 04, 2019, 08:24:51 PM
i am always fascinated by the FOMOs that keep happening in bitcoin market. earlier this year i created two topics on two different occasions about it the small inital FOMO in first stage and another FOMO with a bigger leg up.

with the current situation where price has come down below the $10k support line and the fact that a lot of weak hands were flushed out, i am guessing pretty soon after the drama ended we are going to see another FOMO market shape up bringing in a lot of money like a tsunami. this time if the momentum could build up we could see $20k before the end of the year.

what do you think about the size of the upcoming FOMO? can we see a bubble in short term this time or will it be like last time (small just to kick start the rise)?
Surely after the drama ends we would see or hear a lot of people regretting on not investing while it was low or something like not holding on to their crypto.
But I agree with you I think after this drop we could see a big batch of money going to enter again and pretty sure those weak hands that sold their bags would try to get it back again.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think majority of the people heard or read Bitcoin one time or another on: October 04, 2019, 07:29:28 PM
I think majority of the people have already heard or read it .
It is being published every where and people tends to attract or share information to their family and friends so I really think that majority of the people have already heard or read about it even once since Bitcoin started.
But not everybody who hear or read it got interested there are always who would look at it at a different view ,
Like those people who thinks that it is a criminals money because it is being used too much for illegal things like black market, Money laundering and scams.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 ways to help you not be emotionally dominated when trading cryptocurrencies on: October 04, 2019, 06:19:52 PM
For me it is always good to have a plan and you should stick to your plan.
Know when to quit or cut loss and when to take your profit.
This is the problem most of the traders could agree on or most of us have experienced.
Most of us are too greedy to take the profit and thinks that it would continue to grow and it is the main reason why some lose their peofit and sometimes also their capital,
Same way to cut lose we often thinks that our investment or crypto would go up again and sometimes we would lost more because it would continue to drop.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2019, 05:29:26 PM
TBH I think that it is a bad idea I know that you believe too much in Bitcoin and that is why you are willing to take the risk .
But we should always remember that in investment only invest what we could afford,
And I think you should be contented on your own progress as you've said ypu are buying Bitcoin regularly so why would you even take a loan?
You are accumulating monthly and I think it is enough .
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8 Ways to Make Money with Bitcoin in 2020 on: October 04, 2019, 04:11:51 PM
I clicked up the link and just check it out. Those advises are just common points and i fully disagree on one of those which is  Gambling.
https://youtu.be/yyYTaZUoMUI?t=148 I post up the correct timespan on where its being mentioned. Its never been considered to be a good
source of income. This is somewhat misleading if i were to say.
I agree gambling shouldn't be consider as a way to earn in crypto ,
Unless of course you are the owner or an investor to a gambling site then it would be a different story but if you are just a gambler who would rely on luck then it shouldn't be considered as a way of earning.
And I disagree with the intro earning online has never been easy you would work hard and you need to learn a few things if you really want to earn through crypto.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee To Launch New Decentralized Exchange – McAfeeDex on: October 04, 2019, 03:10:03 PM
I don't know but I think McAfee already lost his name in crypto industry.
I think only few believers would really take him seriously but most of us see him as a big joke in crypto community,
He has been destroying his name by making some prediction and most of those who believe him have lost some money for sure.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if ETH hold above 168, downtrend will be over. on: October 04, 2019, 02:13:47 PM

if ETH hold above 168, downtrend will be over.
just an idea, the market is still very weak and bearish

Well it already surpass your expected price ,
But I don't think that it would really end the down trend but let's hope that it would stay higher than $170 .
And down trend is part of the cycle so no matter how much the price gets always expect the down trends of the market.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: 20% price drop 7 months before the May 2020 halving? on: October 03, 2019, 07:02:00 PM
Why do people always want to make things complicated?
I mean 20% drop before the next halving is an issue or what?
We have seen it gain more than 20% in the last couple of months surely a 7 months period before halving would also make a great up trend .
We couldn't know what is the real reason behind this 20% price drop because there are so many reason that could be used to it.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not use Exchange instead of Mixer? on: October 03, 2019, 05:47:16 PM
So, Mixers provide service of shuffling bitcoins or provide addresses loaded with bitcoins along with private keys. In short, they provide service so to create anonymity between sender's and receiver's address so that no one can trace the transaction.
My question is why not use Exchanges? When we deposit funds on exchange, bitcoins get deposited on exchange's cold wallet. But when we withdraw funds, withdraw gets processed from exchange's hot wallet. So in short, it is very easy to do anonymous transfer by depositing funds on exchange and withdrawing to other addresses. Why to pay 1-3% fees on Mixers when it could be done for much less on Exchanges. Exchanges like Binance charge just 0.0005 BTC to process withdrawals.
It all depends on our needs and our capital.
Lets say mixer would just get 1-3% fee from using it while on exchange we would pay some transaction fee us well and if you would only send a small amount then using an exchange would cost you more,
And of course it would be different amount of fee in every exchange.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Online Casino has the Most Fun Games? Recommendations? on: October 03, 2019, 04:31:10 PM
The only fun games that I know in gambling is crash game and the Satoshi mines.
Those two are the only games that I play besides dice I would rather play crash game or the minesweeper game than other games,
But who knows maybe they would come up with something new and fun to play in gambling industry.
I wonder if there would be a game like a fight mode where we would design our avatar and place some bets on each fight something like that.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COLD Wallet For USDT ERC20 on: October 03, 2019, 03:28:49 PM
Just visit https://www.myetherwallet.com/ and they will let you create every kind of wallet you like. It's not only ledger or trezor, there are many ways of creating a wallet over there.
Yes this would be the best option since it looks like OP doesn't really trust the hardware wallets like ledger or trezor.
In MEW you could create tons of wallet and it is up to you on how would you protect it .
I would also suggest paper wallet but I haven't used or tried it before so I don't really know if their safe or what but I like it's idea and it seem's to be so easy to use just don't forget to keep your private key safe.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck happened to the prices? on: October 01, 2019, 04:11:24 PM
^This.

Everytime the market dumps, it's manipulation.
Everytime the market pumps, it's manipukation.

Don't stress yourself trying to figure out what happened because you will never know unless you are the person who sold or bought at a huge quantity,

It is true every time a price drop happens we would hear some says it is manipulation ,
They are stressing their own in this kind of stuff why don't they just focus on their portfolio or how to gain back what they loss.
Most of those people who cries manipulation are the one's who doesn't have some plan or cut loss so they lose so much because of this sudden drop,
But if they are aiming for the long term then they shouldn't really be bothered about this dump because surely the price would go back again as we have seen this before.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is in Short Term Accumulation Stage before Halving FOMO on: October 01, 2019, 02:47:11 PM
Very informative and well explained thread ,
I just want to add up if I am not mistaken every halving we would have another crypto or a copy of Bitcoin ,
Just like Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and they are trying to gain free crypto by holding Bitcoin before the halving (just my thought about FOMO on halving) .
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance on: October 01, 2019, 01:39:14 PM
How could it bring down Bitcoins dominance when it is the one who is being brought down by some issue's from governments and other stuff.
And I don't really see the reason why people would compare something like that to Bitcoin I mean it is clear that both of them are very different the one is decentralized while the other is centralized ?
So if you think that it could destroy the dominance of Bitcoin then there are already some centralized crypto that tried it before but Bitcoin is still standing tall and still the King of all crypto.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: $5,000 is the number - so get used to it. on: October 01, 2019, 10:32:10 AM
It is fine for me as long as it wouldn't stay too long in $5,000 and move up again after it hits it .
I really hope that we could see it around $15,000 again before the year ends and we still have some time for it to happens,
So if it would drop down to $5,000 again it is better to grab that chance to get some.
And I think it wouldn't really go down to that road again  Smiley (crossed fingers) .
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done to promote the Blockchain technology & cryptocurrencies? on: October 01, 2019, 09:39:34 AM
I introduce it to my friends and family so far and some of their friends also knows that I am earning through crypto currencies,
So whenever someone wants to know something about crypto in our place they would try to ask me about it and I would explain it as long as I could and as long as I know it.
So far that is the only thing that I have done to promote crypto currencies I also tried posting it in my social media so my online friend would be aware of it and some got interested and ask about it but that's just it after I talk to them it is up to them if they would continue to invest or get into crypto.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts you won't invest in on: October 01, 2019, 08:17:56 AM
A lot of discussions on forum are all about "what coin should I buy? Why?"
Here's the opposite - I want to ask what alts you would never buy and why so.

My example:
Never buy BTT, Tron, Stellar and other coins where the tokens are giving away with all kinds of airdrops. Why? Emission grows with no influx of investors.
Doubting about Peercoin. Hybrid emission system doesn't seem reliable too, though lately PPC began spreading itself via well-known exchanges (changheangel or changelly - don't remember).
+ Libra. Not sure if any explanation needed.

80% coins, tokens and ICO its SCAM. If you want to buy. For start, study in detail all coin information and search detail information about coin developers.
Yes and this is why most of the bounty hunters and investor's already left the ICO's and IEO's .
There are so many project and most of them are scam and if not the price would end up being dump in the exchange .
Only small percent of the new project could keep up to their initial offering price I don't really know if there are still some who could come up to their initial price when they hit the exchange so what's the point in joining?
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we ready for another price bump? Reminder for the shortsighted people. :-> on: September 30, 2019, 11:11:47 AM
On 6th of July 2019 the Bitcoin price was hovering around $7700 and within 20 days it went up to almost $12600+ and nobody even anticipated that it might happen. This was just over 2 months ago and a lot of people with a very short memory are already panicking and selling their coins.  Roll Eyes  https://www.blockchain.com/charts/market-price?timespan=1year

I am posting this as a reminder to those people with a short memory that things in Bitcoin change at a very rapid pace and if you are too focused on the immediate price, you might just miss out on the next big price bump.  Wink

Also remember that we were playing around with a $3000 to $4000 Bitcoin price back in January, so it is not the end of the world, if we see a little correction.  Grin

Buy low and hoard those coins, you will not be disappointed if you do. <It might take 1 month or even 3 years, but I would rather be prepared ...than jumping the ship and being out of coins when it happens.>  Roll Eyes
But not everyone is investing for the long term and there are some who are just new in crypto so this kind of things would provably drive them off and let their emotion take over.
Not everyone is brave enough to hold on and take the risk but I do get your point and I agree with you ,
When it comes to investment in Bitcoin it is better to look at it for a long term sight rather than just a short sight where if the price drop happens they would tend to panic and sell.
