Do you think that the announcements made in the BitConnect roadmap for 2018 (new bot version and the possibility to exchange BCC directly into fiat without going through other crypto) make the platform seem any more legit?
Haven't put any money into them myself but curious to see the developments.
It would surely be a great development for it if that were the case. IMO it is a big step if they were to accomplish it but I wonder if their bcc fiat exchanging service would be more convenient than btc intended fiat exchanging service? If they were to be more convenient then for sure it will go boom but even without it for now all I can say is that bitconnect somehow is legit. If you want in then don't hesitate to invest into them, just remember to invest what you are ready to lose. |

IMO any altcoins that are volatile right now is good to gain profit short term before 31st December. What the others suggested on the posts above are good coins to invest into for short term. I would also like to suggest KMD to you, since it is the one with most potential for growth in short term. Other coins to look into are recently finished ICO like ditcoin, it is a coin that will surely give you profit if you invest into it now although it might not give you profit before 31st December. |

4 weeks ago we started discussing in this forum that waves is likely to explode in value since it becomes more and more a much more efficient and better alternative to ethereum with lower transaction costs and better stability, and has a lot of potential people didnt believed us back then but now look:  its about to reach 13 USD now those that didnt believed back then are missing the entire market correcture, their fault but this trend will continue because waves is still underpriced and undervalued on the market, because its efficiency is still much better than that of ethereum, so we can expect the upside trend to continue. waves has an even better performance than bitcoin once there was 0,0005 bitcoin per waves now its 0,00075, but waves is not a high transaction costs garbage like bitcoin, and it keeps its utility as a plattform. That is just dollar value but the truth is that waves hasn't rises much in the past few weeks. The only thing that makes it bigger in USD value is the fact that bitcoin is on the rise. Still, I think reaching high price in USD is a big achievement for waves community and waves itself and might be a good indicator that waves will go up more in the future. For now I think it is good enough for waves to reach 15$ as peak for this rally and be stable with it to gain many more investor's trust and interest as well. |

I agree that bitcoin is king but I don't think that ethereum is queen. It is on top 2 spot for now but I am sure that there are a lot of coins having potential to overtake it because ETH tech is not that great when compared to others. It is also driven merely by speculation and the transaction volume it got only is from smart contracts that are being bought for trading. For now I would say that ETH is still the queen but who knows, maybe soon it will be overtaken by another altcoin. |

It is nice to see waves going up. How much do you think it will reach(NEW ATH) after this bullish run? For me I guess it will reach at least 20$ and it will stabilize to a price near it because achieving ethereum like price range in one bull run would be unhealthy for waves itself and will be the reason for it's downfall again. I think it will at least have 3-5 bull runs before waves reach 100$+ price ranges and it might take one more bull run for it to overtake ethereum if it will. |

WAVES: A decentralized tradig platform that can also function like ethereum. It seeks to decentralize trading by tokenization and might be the next ethereum since it's features is not that far from it. In fact, it can do more than what ETH can. Besides running smart contracts it can function as an exchange. Also, there are a lot of ongoing developments on it right now and I think it is still the best time to enter waves now that it is only sitting at 8$ price. I am sure this would be one of the most pumped coins in 2018.

I was looking at other cryptocurrencies such as Dash. I have seen several ways to use Bitcoin for daily things, in fact, Visa even has a card you can load with Bitcoin which is converted to cash called Bitpay. Which, obviously, you could use for daily purchases in your local area for places that do not accept Bitcoin, yet, and of course could be used to pay monthly bills, etc. Still, the time.when altcoins can be used for daily living will be up soon.
What I am curious about as I have just started to learn about Dash, is if there are such services available to make use of that particular currency. I live in Oklahoma, so cryptocurrencies are less adapted here than say in much, much larger metropolitan cities on the east and west coasts. If I were to mine for Dash, is there a way to conveniently use it for daily living expenses?
Altcoins for now is just things merely used for speculation. It cannot be used in real life since there ain't any services or goods that can be bought using altcoins. If it were peer to peer though some people might consider accepting altcoin as payment but those kind of people would be hard to find. For this reason it is technically better to use bitcoin as payment for something ATM rather than using altcoins. Still, I am sure altcoins can soon be used for paying daily expenses. |

CME listing seems to be making bitcoins value go up almost almost as if its a fork coming up. How many of you are selling all alt coins at the moment for bitcoin?
Well I am selling of some of my stash on altcoins atm because I have gained a hefty sum of profit in them already. Nevertheless, I didn't sell all altcoins that I hold mainly because they have more potential for growth and I don't want to put all my investments in one basket. I have a good sum of bitcoin already so it would not hurt even if I leave more than 50% of my altcoins stash on altcoins. That way I am happy to see whatever goes bullish. |

You can get free ethereum on ethbut before you can even withdraw for a fee, then you would have to work for a period of time and it is a waste of time. It would be better if you will just buy some ethereum for gas fee so that time won't be wasted. If you still want to waste your time one them, search on google there are many legit faucets out there. One good faucet I remember is the counterpart site of freebitcoin faucet. If I remember it correctly, it's name was freeethereum. It grants users hourly claim and there is a dice to multiply faucet earnings but better not gamble what you earn on faucet. |

I dont know how high it will go but that is how low it will go. Just a humble call made purely via pattern extrapolation. Since you so strongly believe it will not happen, that is exactly why it's going to happen. I have no further arguments.
Bitcoin cannot be predicted via pattern extrapolation because it follows no pattern for it's price movements but still, I think your call is possible to happen. One advice someone has gave me is to do the opposite of what everyone says because most of the time, they do the opposite. That being said, others also believe that the day when btc will dip hard to at least 3k$ is very likely to happen soon even when everyone says the opposite now. |

Let's not consider the recent price dip because we all know that it will raise again in sometime but do you think bitcoin will git the mark of $15000 by the end of March 2018?
I think that is has a chance to reach the speculated price before the end of march 2018. It might even reach it earlier than March because of continuous bitcoin price rise happening right now. Although that is the case, I am still considering the possibility of a dump because the chance of it is getting higher every time bitcoin goes in a continuous bullish trend. I also think that the speculated price might be the highest point bitcoin can reach during that year, but it might exceed it depending on what will happen in 2018. |

How much is bitcoin estimated to be worth in 100 days?
100 day mean 14 week and we can add min 500$ every week so 7,000$ price will be 18,000$ after 100 day It is too insane IMO. Remember that bitcoin is not always going up so I guess within 100 days, bitcoin would be sitting at 14000-15000$ price if things continue to go up as is and if it dumps, I predict it would be sitting at price ranges 8000$-9000$, maybe lower if the worst happens and what I am referring to here is the most awaited crypto winter. It is not constant whether how much dollars bitcoin will rise or subtract to its price every week. |

I think the bet he made is too insane. 1million $ by the end of 2020? I think that is too much and too fast growth. I think that by the end of it bitcoin would be at least 100,000$ but not more than 500,000$. That being said, I think he is gonna eat his own dick after 2020 ends. If for some reason there is a factor making him that confident about his prediction, then it is good I too am hoping to see bitcoin reach those price ranges. |

There is a possibility of it happening but as soon as that happens, there is also a possibility of a dump to follow later on. That being said, I think the dump that was sure to happen if btc will hit 13000$ will not be that big of a dip since bitcoin has a lot of source of demand now which makes it hard to make the price dump hard. The best move to do right now is to hodl and see what will happen to the price after fork before selling or rebuying. |

Of course i suggest to no one going all in, but let's see what will be the answers here.  It is a fact that no trader would go all in specially now that there are a lot of coins with potential but if I am to pick one coin to go all in within the next 3 days from now, I would probably choose any from the top 10. I think they are the most profitable and safer bet when going all in. Other than the top 10 I might not consider going all in on any project besides the top 10 coins because they are riskier and the chance of permanently losing my hard earned fiat is high on others. |

I find it odd that eth and xrp are the only top Alts still falling vs bitcoin. How low can they go?
it sucks because it's the only 2 crypto monney i own (eth and XRP).. i should have kept my BTC. went from 1 btc to 0.65 btc... thousands of $ lost here Same here 10's of thousands lost Don't worry even if you have lost thousands of dollars. Just remember to hold and sell with profit later when it pumps. Still it is odd why xrp and eth are the only top coins that are tanking. Maybe it is not merely caused by btc rising. Rather it was caused by a greater power at work here. As to how far they can go I think they wouldn't drop that far and for this reason it is a very good time to invest in them. I am sure that soon it will go up. |

I am in already who else?  cant wait for the $$$ I am also in and have added to stash now since it is one of the best time to buy stratis now while it is suffering a major dip. I also am sure that it will go up more in the months to come and we will see new stratus ATH's soon. Now it is sitting at the one of the cheapest price one can enter into. It has a lot of potential to grow when compared to other coins and also, it will be useful and will have a good stream of demand from the upcoming updates planned by team. |

I think ethereum would be a goof choice to hedge into in times like these. Power ledger without a doubt is one good coin but do not put all you portfolio in one coin, diversify it in at least three alts. For this reason, I also recommend you OP to invest onto much stabler coins in price now like waves. There are also other coins that are good to hedge into, just remember to look into altcoins that retained having a price for a long time now they might get pumped up soon. |
