381  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is religion necessary for humans? on: September 01, 2017, 03:07:31 PM
Why do people religion? The basics of human behavior are laid parents at an early age. Then reform later. Religion uses people for their own gain and therefore nothing to do with education has not. My opinion is that religion is not necessary.
382  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bill Gates is set to become the world's richest billionaire on: September 01, 2017, 03:03:59 PM
Bill gates is not interested in such ratings. He has enough money to buy all the necessary things to live happily. He spends a lot of money for charity and even restricted access to their money, to heirs. He has other values.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi Nakamoto transact 3000pcs bitcoin to test SW today? on: August 31, 2017, 09:21:34 AM
Bitcoin is now very popular and so it is a lot of rumors. I don't know what to believe, what not. I do not believe any messages. My relationship with bitcoin are based solely on my own thoughts. Perhaps this applies to undermine the credibility of bitcoin and his team.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and governments on: August 31, 2017, 09:10:30 AM
Bitcoin is a nightmare for any government. The current system in the world contributes to the fact that power always come to the thieves and corrupt officials. If people will use for calculations of bitcoin then they will have nothing to steal. What will they do then?
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: August 31, 2017, 09:05:47 AM
the hotel is one of the places that have the most enthusiasts today. if this is successful then the bitcoin financial system will increase. hotel users can book hotel rooms with great ease despite traveling overseas. so bitcoin becomes a thing that can give us easiness in doing financial transaction. so the hospitality world will have a remarkable increase in terms of number of transactions.
Yes because of that situation of bitcoin that are been used for transaction to every book hotel it can increase the bitcoin popularity that leads to the coming of the big investors and also it can help to introduced bitcoin to the individuals.
It will be easy also especially to those who doesn't have credit cards or bank accounts. It's too hassle to book reservation for some hotels now for they are first pay basis. Whoever reserve with paymemt will be acknowledged. It can get popularity more that can increase btc demands.
This is not so. My friend owns a small hotel. He accepts bitcoin, but for more than a year he had no one offer. People don't want to part with their bitcoins. And people who have on account of sufficient number of bitcoins to pay for their everyday needs very little.

387  Other / Politics & Society / Re: BITCOIN KNOWS ALL OVER THE WORLD on: August 30, 2017, 11:47:42 AM
Bitcoin known all over the world, but this is not enough. Infrastructure use of bitcoins very slowly. Perhaps this is due to the lack of its development strategy and the lack of centralized control. Bitcoin is slowly developing his own way. We need to be patient and wait.
388  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: August 30, 2017, 11:43:00 AM
Evolution is a proven fact. People can admit he was right or not, but that does not change. Evolution is present in everything. Both in nature and in science and technology. I was very surprised that people do not notice. Most critics of evolutionary development are questioning Darwin's theory. I also put it under doubt, but it absolutely does not contradict the existence of evolution.
389  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin on Drug Trade on: August 30, 2017, 11:37:37 AM
Bitcoin is the usual currency. Why not use it to purchase illegal goods? Before bitcoin it was impossible to buy drugs? Or nobody can do it for any currency in the world? Bitcoin is only a measure of the price, and everything else depends on people.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: August 30, 2017, 11:34:09 AM
I don't know how to behave billionaires, but the millionaires invest money in bitcoin that's for sure. I have a few people I know personally. One of them has over 8000 bitcoins. It is foolish to give up the opportunity to make money. Bitcoin gives the opportunity to all regardless of their income.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: August 30, 2017, 11:30:28 AM
Any currency can lose its value, but it is not possible to predict. Personally I believe that bitcoin will be an alternative to the dollar. Modern money is not secured by gold like it did before, so their value depends entirely on the confidence of users. So bitcoin has every chance of becoming a currency №1 in the world.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Discourage by our country. on: August 28, 2017, 09:52:26 AM
Nigeria is not an exception to the rule. Most countries in the world do not recognize bitcoin. Some of them allow you to use bitcoin for a limited number of operations. But you do not worry. All users use their bitcoins through exchanges. If you have coins you will find a use for them.
393  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is religion necessary for humans? on: August 27, 2017, 09:17:18 AM
My opinion is religion is not necessary. In fact, nobody believes in God. People only pretend to believe. It's certainly not terrible. The scary thing is that religion in the struggle for the minds of believers provokes hatred. The attacks from the non-existent God kill innocent people.
394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC1? on: August 25, 2017, 12:53:43 PM
I don't understand what the problem is. If there is an agreement why not to suspend payments 1 MB and when all payments will be stopped to start with size 2 MB. Is that so hard? It seems to me that someone is just trying to create panic and make money.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 12:49:03 PM
Yes of course, cryptocurrency becomes a serious threat from the bank, when many people divert transactions to cryptocurrency of course this becomes a bad omen. They will not want to go to the bank and the bank will disappear.
I'm disagree. I don't see nothing alike between banks and crypto-currencies and how one can replace the other. So, by my opinion there is no reason to banks afraid crypto-currencies. I see that the era of banking is passing. Everything has it's peak and fall after that. So, I see that banks are cutting their activity and some new option come for people's use.
You yourself have denied your own words. The banks are living due to the fact that attract money to deposits and resell them in the form of loans. The interest on deposits is very low. It is not always even cover inflation. Now there is an outflow of deposits in the side of crypto currency. It is death for the banks. That you do not understand?
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: August 24, 2017, 09:31:23 AM
Why use Bitcoins ?

I keep seeing threads on “why don't people” ? The real question to me is Why would they ?

-The average consumer will go way out of their way to save money. Bitcoins cost more.
-The average consumer will usually pay a little extra to have convenience. Bitcoin is less convenience and more hoops and complications.

I just cannot see any reason for the average consumer to use Bitcoins. Until average consumers start using Bitcoins they will just be an experiment and a small speculative bubble.

I have my personal reasons, I am interested Bitcoins them as a tech person, speculative investor and person that follows evolving treads and markets. I am just struggling to see any.. benefits for the average consumer at this stage.

Yes, Bitcoins do cost more, but you get what you paid for. If you buy x amount if bitcoins in fiat, you will get that same amount of value in bitcoins. You can then go to online retailers such as Amazon and Microsoft where you are able to spend your bitcoins in exchange for goods.

However, the main reason for why the average consumer does not use bitcoins is the fact that there are a limited number of local stores that have yet to accept bitcoin as a payment method for their customers. If an individual has no place to spend their bitcoins (locally for food, drinks... etc), then yes, there is no reason for them to start using bitcoin. Unless they want to get involved with the blockchain and maybe use bitcoin as an investment.
Something that is not developing trade with bitcoins this is very bad for him as for the national currency. My opinion is that bitcoin did not become currency. Amazon and Microsoft will not solve the problem. Investing in bitcoin puts pressure on price and deters potential users.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cartel manipulating mining difficulty? on: August 24, 2017, 09:25:46 AM
The BCash mining difficulty was adjusted (increased) two days ago, so miners expectedly and quite naturally stopped mining this coin and moved their hashpower to mining regular Bitcoin. Then the mining difficulty got conveniently readjusted again (now decreased), and miners started mining BCash all over again. I'm utterly curious where you are, all the criticasters, who had been ridiculing this idea at first. Why did you put your tongue in your ass now?

We'll see if the hash rate floods back to BCH now. It looks like you were right. What do you think the long term effects of this manipulation will be?

In fact, it looks like we are already seeing the effects of this manipulation

The price of Litecoin surged over 15% within the last 24 hours (now it retracted a little but is still well over 50 dollars per coin). This is an obvious and immediate effect of people losing trust in Bitcoin (in any Bitcoin, for that matter). If this kind of manipulation is set to continue or even become worse, people will be leaving Bitcoin in favor of other coins. So don't get surprised if you wake up one morning and see the Litecoin price over 100 dollars per piece
I don't quite agree with you. The last 24 hours bitcoin price is constantly going up. Perhaps it was triggered by the growth of the other crypto currency. Actually all crypto currencies are still dependent on bitcoin and therefore I do not believe that it ever will be a bias towards altcoins.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The OFFICIAL SegWit Activation Thread on: August 24, 2017, 09:16:10 AM
I don't quite understand all the intricacies, but I see what transactions I have no problems and the price of bitcoin has risen to 4,240 USD. The growth is stable. Perhaps our train started, and the next stop will be 5000 dollars.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: August 24, 2017, 08:52:37 AM
all my bitcoins are safely stored in cold storage. My backup system is very thorough, but insanely secure.

Even if the house burns down I can get access to my bitcoins.

The only sober person in this topic.
If you store a large number of coins in one place it may be it's a wise decision, but 100% security never happens. It is impossible to consider all the risks. I think a more secure solution is to store on different wallets in small amounts.
400  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Mood on: August 23, 2017, 04:28:31 PM
It's really funny, but we haven't seen war of bankers against bitcoin. I'm sure it will be. Never underestimate the enemy. Besides the internal contradictions which are now torn apart from the inside bitcoin very much weaken bitcoin.
