3801  Other / Off-topic / Re: I feel like bitcoin is a losing battle on: May 27, 2014, 05:20:37 PM
When I stumbled upon BTC in 2011, it was worth $14 or so bucks. Why didn't I just mine, or buy then? Why didn't I figure some way out then?

The year is now 2014, and I'm worn out on bitcoin. It almost feels like a joke. A bunch of people holding a ton of coins, while people like myself who are off and on about it, reaching up to grab for some, and it getting taken away by an older bigger bully.

I've had my share of heartache's in the past month, a grandmother who has 8 months to live (at best), my mother has breast cancer. My father has an auto immune disease that stripped him of his body mass/weight and has forced him to relearn how to walk, talk, and eat.

I just can't stand it. I got into bitcoin because I was excited about it, I felt it had promise, and now...

I can't.

I'm sorry guys, I'm just not in a good way right now.

omg man ... what are you telling about?
Instead of crying get yourself to do something to change life for better.
Nothing comes for free and if you will waste your time for crying around you will lose a chance to live your best life ever.

Think about it.
3802  Economy / Goods / Re: What is USD? Bitcoin T-Shirts! on: May 27, 2014, 05:15:13 PM
Want to show your support for BTC? Why not use a shirt to do it! The shirts start at $14.00 which is payed through USD (ironic i know) unless you use something like a snapcard!? They can be bought here:

http://teespring.com/whatisusd

Thanks everyone!

Hi BitPhotos.

Are those your designs for T-shirts??

Not bad but I would like it more with out this txt Smiley
But it is funny indeed.

This summer will be full of people with BTC t-shirts I hope!

Goodluck.
3803  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New faucet every 8 seconds on: May 27, 2014, 05:11:43 PM
hi i found a faucet where u can claim bitcoins every 8 seconds!!!!! also there is a site on left where u can earn 200k satoshi.
8sec-faucet . t k (remove spaces)

that's sound like another very shitty faucet.

So how many bits you can earn per 8 seconds and what is a limit to withdraw? Smiley

Simple calculation will make you understand that this is waste of time.
3804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 New Bitcoin ATMs And Where To Find Them on: May 27, 2014, 04:55:54 PM
So far as I know we will have ATM in Warsaw - Poland too Smiley it is just a matter of days

Financial Underground Kingdom – Cryptocurrency Blog wrote an article about it.

that is really indeed awesome! I love to see how fast ATMs are spreading around the globe Smiley
3805  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-05-27] Mt. Gox Revival Plan Hit With Objection from Creditor CoinLab on: May 27, 2014, 04:50:59 PM
I have no idea why anyone wants to resurrect gox. It'll forever be tarred with a bad name. Just let it die.
Well in my opinion if someone is able to build up new, reliable, and good exchange with all of the best securities used to make it as safe as possible and will keep Mt.Gox name and logo - I think that would be great!

3806  Bitcoin / Press / [2014-05-27] SatoshiPoint to Launch Three New Bitcoin ATMs Across the UK on: May 27, 2014, 04:39:27 PM
From the time when 1st BTC ATM was placed in the UK and when thousands of merchants has started to accept Bitcoin in London I knew Smiley
that England will bring a lot of support and will help to spread Bitcoin all around their country.

Quote

3807  Bitcoin / Press / [2014-05-27] Mt. Gox Revival Plan Hit With Objection from Creditor CoinLab on: May 27, 2014, 04:33:05 PM
Quote
CoinLab, the former operations manager for Mt. Gox in the US and Canada, has filed an objection to the plan to revive the now-defunct exchange issued by Sunlot Holdings, an investor group that includes John Betts, Matthew Roszak and Bitcoin Foundation board member-elect Brock Pierce. (... )

Well. So what are going to be next "Revival Plan"?

I though this plan was a chance for Mt.Gox users to get at least some of their cash but perhaps I was wrong Wink

3809  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Suddenly I stopped mining after I installed Kaspersky pure 3.0 on: May 27, 2014, 04:22:55 PM
Hi all

recently I upgraded my Kaspersky to Pure 3.0 and now suddenly when I run BFGminer.exe I can get to the mining.bitcoin.cz website and enter my worker and then my password but whereas before I would see line after line of calculations, I now see nothing. This has been happening for about two days. Any idea what is going on? Is it the Kaspersky? Is it something else? Please advise and thanks.

so why just not uninstall Kaspersky and see how will it work??

That would be the easiest method to fix the problem, isn't?

Smiley And I must ask - are you a brand new user and you registered just to ask about this?
3810  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-05-27] The Bitcoin Jet Set: Here Are Some Luxuries Bitcoin Can Buy The Ult on: May 27, 2014, 04:20:17 PM
I'd rather save my bitcoins than spend them now. I'm sure you will be able to buy even more goods for less coins in the future.

That is some way of thinking indeed.

Well. Maybe if I would have enough BTC to buy some goods now I would perhaps wait too see what the price is going to be, but :
-buying such a luxuries is good for those who have a lot more then they will spend on them Smiley to keep the rest for higher purposes and higher prices.

so Smiley if you have enough money to save and spend Smiley why not?

3811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Coin2.0 [C2.0] - The forward thinking POS (FPS GAME DEV. UNDER WAY). on: May 27, 2014, 03:29:55 PM
COIN2 DEPOSIT TO EXCHANGES STARTS NOW

Ok here is transparency for you guys

Mintpal    31,146,142.69841092
BTER      23,847,627.8478
Poloniex     2,366,428.61322783
C-Cex            6,013.758472
Bittrex      1,006,590.20254400

Total: 58,372,803.12045475

Those are the totals on the exchanges after the attack, xnigma and comkort have not responded
yet. So since bittrex is still open, were going to ask them to freeze everything for the moment, if you
guys want to you can go ahead and send your coins to either nxt-e or bittrex, both need exposure
to our community and will help us be kept in both places. The reason for deposits is to avoid wallet
screenshot scams and get an estimated total of what is still left out of the exchanges in wallets.
Failure to do this will result in lost coins.

I cannot make this any clearer:
1) Only deposit if your coins are in a personal wallet
2) Do not try to move your coins from one exchange to another
3) Do not try to withdraw your coins after you deposit to an exchange.
4) Lets try and make this swap go as smoothly as possible.
5) You have til the end of the week.

Deposit to either of these exchanges
Don't be biased and only go to bittrex.
Once your coins are in, their there til
                         conversion. Thanks.

Great news!!

I already sent my coins to NXT-E and I will wait patiently Smiley

Great job guys!
3812  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite national team FIFA World Cup 2014? on: May 27, 2014, 01:11:33 PM
Only Poland.

As you know Poland will perhaps win this cup. :-)

We have strong team.  Like always.  We were just unlucky during all those last cups :-) but ~30 years ago Poland did made to semi final :-) and I believe we can do it again.  We just need more luck as more skills we cannot have as we are already super pro skilled soccer team :-)

Anyone will agree with me?

guys thank u for the support

Don't worry :-) there are always gonna be people who don't understand what mean to create a new coin.

Many supporters are around as trolls too :-)

This is how things works.  But good support mean more than few trolls.

Do we know when exactly this week nc2 is getting back up?

No. We don't know exactly yet.

People are working on it. And if you can imagine how developers work - it is hard to say : tomorrow at 5PM it is finished.

They will finished when it will be ready.
They told us : if no unexpected problems - this week Smiley so. It is Tuesday.

We have few more days to go Smiley

The developer's work
There are so difficult?.. Maybe they didn't care
A few days?
 Angry

I am tired of people moaning about new wallet.
If you don't want to wait just don't wait and sell your c2.0  now. People will buy all of your coins with happiness.
3815  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 27, 2014, 03:18:56 AM
Price is looking very good as for a Tuesday Smiley

Another day with a rally I predict +%35 i next 12h.

 Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

35%? Thats a big move! I would be happy with a tenth of that!

Well misspelling Smiley I was thinking of $ instead of %...

Anyway +%35 would be amazing too Wink
but this is possible if the rally will not stop more like till the end of the week than in next 12h Smiley
3816  Bitcoin / Press / [2014-05-27] The Bitcoin Jet Set: Here Are Some Luxuries Bitcoin Can Buy The Ult on: May 27, 2014, 03:15:41 AM

Interesting article about what you can buy if you have more than a few Bitcoins Smiley

Quite expensive things Smiley I believe early adopters can buy some of those Wink
