Well. Maybe if I would have enough BTC to buy some goods now I would perhaps wait too see what the price is going to be, but :
-buying such a luxuries is good for those who have a lot more then they will spend on them to keep the rest for higher purposes and higher prices.

so if you have enough money to save and spend why not?
