3801  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 03, 2022, 09:01:09 AM
This Saturday, we detected that the group Witmer Locos Salvatruchos, of the MS13 Freedom Program, was still active and responsible for the killings in Comasagua.
2,000 soldiers have surrounded the entire municipality. We know the gang members are still there. Source: https://twitter.com/nayibbukele/status/1576495647016247299

What is really happening in the country of El Salvador right now ? is there an internal conflict being resolved by the government of El Salvador ?

What is happening is the reality in more or less all countries of Central and South America, and since El Salvador became interesting to the rest of the world, the problem with their local gangs has only come into public focus. There is no doubt that the country has a huge gang problem, and even Bukele canceled his trip to a conference in Miami this year because of it.

However, I think that in the context of general security and tourism, the problem of gangs is not so pronounced, because supposedly the income from tourism has increased, and some have even linked it to the fact that Bitcoin is legal tender in that country. However, I rely more on the experiences of those who were there, and can tell us from personal experience something more about when it comes to paying with Bitcoin, and if we read this post, then it becomes a little clearer that it is not easy to pay something with Bitcoin in that country if you are not using the official Chivo wallet.
3802  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitstarz is a scam casino (full proof of their actions) on: October 02, 2022, 03:56:41 PM
they allow vpns :  https://prnt.sc/GfOoHCb5CPRu

I wrote to you that there is a difference between what a member of their customer support thinks, and what the system that detected your suspicious behavior thinks. Maybe now you should ask Emma why they didn't pay you your winnings - obviously players who play hidden behind a VPN have a different experience, which would mean that you can lose, but you are not allowed to win Wink

3803  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 02, 2022, 03:31:27 PM
I don't blame anyone because I also was not able to buy one bitcoin this year. But those sharks converted all stablecoins into busd to manipulate the market even more. We should do something before they buy all bitcoins from the exchange and withdraw them to their own cold wallets.

I think you are exaggerating a bit in your concern, because we have 19+ million Bitcoins in circulation (of course, some of it is surely lost) and a little less than 2 million Bitcoins that have yet to be mined. Those sharks, as you call them, simply don't have enough money to buy everything, especially not what smart people keep in their cold wallets and don't plan to sell at all - because for some, Bitcoin is a currency, not just an investment.

In addition, this is perhaps the first time in history that small ordinary people could outwit these sharks because they realized the potential of Bitcoin before them. They joined the game only after 2017 when they felt a possible profit, but with all the money they have, they can't make up for the time they lost.
3804  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Email on: October 02, 2022, 02:37:26 PM
I have checked Kongxx posting history, he is from Malaysia. The government of Malaysia banned Binance. I will also advice him to use VPN.
But the VPN location should not be set to US or other restricted countries.

I don't know what the TOS of that company is when it comes to VPN, but if Malaysia is on the list of banned countries, the OP could have problems in continuing to use their services, especially if he is a verified user. By that, I mean primarily if his account is connected to the account of a bank in a banned country.

Maybe someone who is in a similar situation can say something more about it, but I personally would be careful in such a situation because it doesn't take much for them to freeze anyone's account.
3805  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitstarz is a scam casino (full proof of their actions) on: October 02, 2022, 02:01:54 PM
Every online casino will be suspicious when it comes to VPN, and I'm surprised that you don't know that, since it seems to me that you are not a beginner in online gambling. The fact that someone from their customer support told you otherwise does not mean anything, because the only thing that matters is what is written in the terms of service.

I would say that you can consider yourself lucky that they allowed you to withdraw your deposit, which is really rare in these cases, and in addition, various checks can take weeks. Considering the reputation that casino has, I would be more concerned about the personal information you sent them, especially your passport.
3806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: October 02, 2022, 01:38:17 PM
Bitcoin price is currently 19302 dollars but the possibility of Bitcoin price increase from here is very high. And I think Bitcoin price in 2023 Chances of reaching $100,000 per year are very high so if one wants to invest then now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin.

If you invest at this time then you will definitely be able to reap huge benefits as I believe that Bitcoin price will increase greatly by 2023.

I read a long time ago that by the end of 2023 the price of 1 BTC will be at least $250 000, but this is just a speculation that seems very unlikely from the current perspective. Therefore, it is quite frivolous to make statements like this, which have absolutely no basis, but are just the result of someone's imagination.

So far, every bull run has always started after the halving (6+ months), so there is no reason why it shouldn't be the same the next time as well. This of course does not question the moment to invest in Bitcoin, "now" is always a good option. I think most people agree that the magical (for some) $100k will come at some point, we just don't agree on when it will be.
3807  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation in Germany hits double digits for the first time since WWII on: October 02, 2022, 01:16:12 PM
It seems that everyone is worried about inflation, but reading this part of the forum in the last half year I got the impression that everyone is fascinated with Germany or the US, as if the rest of the world lives in prosperity and inflation no longer exists. Although Germany is always perceived as some kind of leading economy of the EU on which everything depends, I think that this will gradually come to an end, because as the leading country of the EU, it was they who created the policy that created such a great dependence on Russian gas and oil.

Now that Merkel is no longer present in the political arena, the political influence of that country will weaken considerably within the EU, and even more so in international relations. In addition, Germany's position in terms of military aid is very bad when it comes to Ukraine, so the question arises as to why they are so restrained in contrast to others, but perhaps one should ask their Israeli friends who share their attitude.

It is incredible that in the light of what is happening, some things come to the surface and that those who have experienced great suffering in their history have no sympathy for the suffering of others. Regarding inflation in Germany, there is a very appropriate statement that says "as you sow, so shall you reap". The only problem in all of this is that Germany is part of the EU and the Eurozone, so everyone will suffer the consequences - but that's why there will be more and more countries that will go in the direction of Hungary or, more recently, Italy.
3808  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor hardware wallets can be used without verifying and backing up a seed on: October 02, 2022, 10:51:27 AM
I personally have no problems with the way people will handle their money, whether it is something tangible or in the specific case with digital assets in the form of cryptocurrencies. What I have a problem with is that these same people don't blame themselves and their actions for their losses, but in most cases, they publicly say "Bitcoin is a scam", and all because they didn't make a backup or saved it in the wrong way.

I agree that people should not be forced to do something, but they should be warned several times about how important it is to act exactly according to the instructions. The option that allows someone to avoid the backup or not to verify their seed is bad in my opinion - because this way every user will save a few minutes of time, which is insignificant with the possibility that they wrote down the seed with one or more wrong words.
3809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Net Bitcoin ATMs growth drops globally for the first time ever on: October 02, 2022, 10:25:45 AM
First of all, I want to say that the news source is probably one of the worst sources you can find for news related to cryptocurrencies - I wonder why people still promote their links on the forum?

The following data may show how insignificant and absurd the news is :

According to data from the coinatmradar website, there are currently 38 179 crypto ATMs in 79 countries around the world. Of these, 33 924 ATMs are located in the US&Canada, which means that there are only slightly more than 4000 such devices in the rest of the world, with a note that you cannot find them in 2/3 of the countries. The fact that 796 ATMs have allegedly disappeared means absolutely nothing, because perhaps it is only one operator who has decided to exit such a business, and this month a new one may appear to replace it.

As for Japan, they can install 5000 such devices if they want, but the fact is that Bitcoin has never been very interesting to the Japanese, and somehow I doubt that will change. In addition, anyone who wants to buy or sell Bitcoin will certainly not be satisfied when they pay a 10%+ ATM fee, because it was and still is the most expensive way to trade cryptocurrencies.

But don't forget that paper is vulnerable material and it can be damaged with water or sunlight. Even if you will kepp that sheet of paper in drawer for long time, it might be that later you won't be able to read what is written.

Not only water or sunlight, but also a lot of other things like chemicals, fire or the fact that a child or a pet can get hold of the paper on which the important information is written. Therefore, in addition to the quality of the paper and ink, everyone should also pay special attention to where they store the paper, and at least laminate it to protect it from the humidity.

What many forget is that one copy is never enough, but also that multiple copies in the same location do not guarantee absolute security.
3811  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How I Increased My Bitcoin and crypto Portfolio by 36% on: October 01, 2022, 03:46:47 PM
What is the relationship of obtaining the maximum benefit with the 36% mentioned in the title? In addition to this, the topic is vague and does not give anything new unless the user clicks on the link, so I hope to add more details.

He is obviously just playing with numbers and trying to promote his website, and if you look at his post history, it is clearly visible that every post contains at least one link. It seems that he did not read the rules of the forum, and the brutal truth is that if he continues like this, he will end up with a lot of deleted posts - much more than 36%.

I checked his website, and in addition to articles on how to buy this or that token, it seems that he also has some kind of online wallet and swap option, which for some reason does not work in TOR.
3812  Other / Meta / Re: Why forum search taking years to load on: October 01, 2022, 02:12:49 PM
We have already concluded that the search option on the forum is not exactly the ideal search method, especially if you are searching the entire forum for a keyword. I have often encountered that instead of the results, I only get some kind of error page, or that I get a blank page with no results that appear after I reload the page. I couldn't find a topic where we discussed this, but in general the advice is to use a search outside the forum.

Maybe these two topics can be useful.

3813  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don’t Always Flaunt Your Wealth And Wallet Online on: October 01, 2022, 01:46:31 PM
Not only that but they kidnapped another person and had the funds from the exchange sent to that person's bank account and withdrawn from it.
Why? Why lose more time with this second bank transfer when it's going to be fairly obvious who were the guys that sent the money and who used the second victim's ATM card, ev en for the donut police to find out?

Ok, I know some robbers are just stupid but here we're supposed to deal with ones that at least know a thing or two about currency exchange and everything else, it's just that, l mean, If I were a robber, I would just point a gun at him, make him unhand his smartphone, unblock it, send the coins to an address, and just to make sure smash the phone and the sim card so he can't do anything in the next 10 minutes.
The most important thing in all of this is that if I ever get caught I would face only a robbery charge, not a kidnapping on top of that.

I'm skeptical about some things from this story, so although it's not impossible that it happened exactly like that, it could be that the story was made up by the OP, or he misunderstood what someone told him. Besides, is it that easy to add another bank account number to your crypto exchange without verification?

Something similar happened in India, but according to the report, everything lasted only 3 hours. Something skeptical in me tells me that this story from India could be the inspiration on which the OP wrote the story.

3814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Favorite Misconceptions About Bitcoin on: October 01, 2022, 12:45:07 PM
~snip~

This is a good example of what most people don't understand when they try to understand some things about what Bitcoin actually is. Any group on a social network that has the name Bitcoin in it is considered something official, so many people think that there is a Bitcoin bank or that everyone called Satoshi has 1 million BTC that they will share with anyone who sends them their personal information.

People should really start thinking for themselves a little more, otherwise they voluntarily agree to live in a world of misconceptions that can often result in financial losses and great disappointment.
3815  Economy / Economics / Re: SO MANY BLACK SWANS FOR ONE YEAR on: October 01, 2022, 12:27:52 PM
I clearly know that but, its the first time since the cold war we see one of the two power nations making the step forward.
We always heard about a war can come bla bla but that war never comes, but now yes, the war has begun.

Russia may have been a world superpower on paper, but in practice it turned out that they were far from it - but if I remember correctly, Ukraine was in 20th place in terms of military power, which is far from being called a superpower. If by any chance it were so, then Russia would never attack a country that is stronger or equal to it.

Maybe you are too young, but in the last thirty years, many bloody wars have been fought in the world, and even in the heart of Europe from 1991 onwards, in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria - and the difference is that no one cared too much for countries that are not nuclear powers anyway.

For some, the new war in the Balkans might be a "black swan", but the part of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the control of the Serbs has been announcing its annexation to the Republic of Serbia for a long time, and has the support of Russia for that - and for me it's just a question of when that powder keg will explode.
3816  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 500,000 BTC Pieces needed (It could be less if you do not have up to) - We help on: October 01, 2022, 12:12:46 PM
what exactly is the problem with the post?
What i posted is what i do and that is it, if it is a treat to anyone due to hatred thereby hitting on negative score, that is their problem not mine.

The problem is that you want to buy half a million Bitcoins, or at least it seems so from what you wrote - that's why I asked you to clarify if you mean maybe 500 000 satoshis or maybe 500 BTC? If you still insist on buying half a million Bitcoins, then calculate for me how much money is needed for that and why do you think that anyone on this forum could have so many Bitcoins?

As far as I know, only one crypto exchange had a larger amount than that in their possession, and that's because they keep it for their clients.
3817  Economy / Economics / Re: SO MANY BLACK SWANS FOR ONE YEAR on: September 30, 2022, 03:53:24 PM
I wouldn't exactly call the events from the OP a "black swan", because considering the situation from the beginning of the pandemic, it could be expected that everything that resulted from excessive measures to protect ourselves from a disease that had less than 1% mortality would mean that it all backfires on us in the end.

Also, the war in Ukraine started in 2014 and culminated in 2022, and the fact is that many believed that aggression on this scale would not happen, but some warned all the time about what the consequences of such a war would be, but no one was intelligent enough to understand the message in time. Therefore, more or less everything was predictable, as is what will happen in the future, and it depends on what some senile old man or madman who thinks he is defending Europe from Nazism will do.

Can you imagine the shitcoin for example without the change to PoS?.  A lot of people who put his money in mining can lose his money easily because of:
- LOW price of shitcoin
- High and in some cases exponential increase of the cost of energy.

I corrected you a little, because people who invest in anything must be aware that it can turn into ordinary garbage at any moment. That "merge" was known a long time ago, so anyone could either sell the token, or sell the devices they used to mine it - and all those who didn't do it still believe it's worth being in the game, which I personally call "proof of stupidity" (POS).
3818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Favorite Misconceptions About Bitcoin on: September 30, 2022, 02:29:19 PM
1. You can only buy whole bitcoins.

One of the most common misconceptions, but also an excuse why someone has never bought Bitcoin - because if they can't have 1 BTC, they don't want to have 0.01 or some similar amount.

2. It's a ponzi scheme/ tulip bubble/ some other kind of scam or shenanigans.

Bitcoin is unfortunately largely a victim of all those online scams that have happened in the past, so for some people everything on the internet is a scam in one way or another. Those who think this way have never even bothered to see the difference between Bitcoin and some Ponzi/MLM scheme.

3. I would love to buy some Bitcoin, but (whatever the current price is) is just too expensive for magic internet money. This one I think is due to people feeling like they missed out at being an early adopter.

I think this has something to do with what was described in the first case, because there is not much logic if someone says that 1 BTC is expensive for him, and when you explain to him that he can buy an amount worth $20 or even less, then it all boils down to the fact that such small amounts do not have sense. Being jealous of those who knew about Bitcoin in the first years of its existence is completely stupid, because Bitcoin was not a closely guarded secret, anyone could be among the early adopters.

What are your favorites?

Bitcoin is destroying planet Earth and we will all be left in the dark because of POW + it is only used by criminals and drug dealers, and of course the ever-present terrorists.
3819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency information surface collection on: September 30, 2022, 01:50:38 PM
News are things following market ups and downs, and the market does not move ups and downs because of news.

Back in the day when the crypto market was much more manipulative than it is today bad news had much more impact than today, but good news could also cause the price to rise. Today, there is really rare news that we can classify in the category of important to the extent that they would affect the crypto market. Mr.Mars buying again, or company Amazon/Apple in some confirmed news for Bitcoin would very likely have a positive effect on the price

I don't agree to read news from censored that is full of low quality news.

Not only is the quality questionable, but also their way of promoting on this forum, which is why some members ended up getting a permanent ban. Admittedly, not because of link spamming, but because (somewhat ironically) they forgot to put the link as a news source and fell into the trap of plagiarism.
3820  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is crypto hot wallet that bad on: September 30, 2022, 10:48:12 AM
Hot crypto wallets that have a good reputation and have been around for several years are not necessarily a bad choice even for storing larger values if a person has no other choice. However, what is important to emphasize is the environment in which such a wallet is located/used, so it is not the same if someone uses such a wallet on a computer that is used for surfing various suspicious websites, where pirated software is used or where torrents are downloaded.

The possibility that something will go wrong is then significantly higher than if such a wallet is used on a computer that has a good AV/Firewall and is not used for any of the above. If, in addition, the user is aware of the way to download and verify wallet files, then he is quite safe - although it is undoubtedly much safer to have coins in cold storage, or in a hardware wallet.
