3801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / This project might be a small cap gem on: August 30, 2021, 06:03:37 AM
The project is called the Media Network.

https://media.network/

This project is creating a peer to peer bandwidth market, a decentralized media streaming application and a peer to peer content delivery service.

The marketcap is presently only at $11,152,168 according to coingecko.com

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/media-network

Also, this project is part if the Solana ecosystem that is known to be supported by Sam Bankman-Fried, the CEO of FTX, the Binance killer hehe.
3802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana Pump on: August 30, 2021, 05:38:12 AM
The expectations of Sol are happening very quickly, as many are waiting at the price of 100usd, it is something that can happen and according to the technical indicators they are pointing that it may soon reach 63usd if a very bearish attack occurs:

Quote
The bulls have pushed the price above the all-time high at $82 today. If buyers sustain the price above $82, the SOL/USDT pair could start its journey toward the next psychological barrier at $100.

According to many articles that I have seen, it is likely that solana will continue to gain more investors, it is making a lot of noise and it is an ideal time to enter investing.

I am quite certain that Solana will be $100 by September 5. Also, if many of you missed the low buying opportunity, I reckon that there are some very good projects in the Solana ecosystem that are quite undervalued. Serum, Step Finance, Oxygen Protocol and Maps.
3803  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-08-29] Cuba to recognise, regulate cryptocurrency on: August 30, 2021, 02:21:30 AM
This might not be positive news. This proposal will be similar to what the regulators want in America and anywhere else. They will allow you to use cryptocurrency if they can tax you for using it, know your identity and monitor your all of your transactions.

I think we should just refer to him as "Covid Cam", sorta like Typhoid Mary. Smiley

I strongly speculate Covid Cam’s irresponsibility have Bill Belichik talking to his men and will either declare Mac Jones play as the first quarterback after 4 weeks or trade for the best available quarterback. Massage Watson, Jimmy G? Who is available?

Also, the spread for week 1 are only -3 for Greenbay and only -6 for the Chiefs?

There is a reason that we are almost assuredly going to see Cam and Jimmy G starting, as well as the same reason why Andy Dalton has already been declared the starter.  If you think about it, if any of these 3 rookies end up as the day one starter and they struggle right out of the gate..say they struggle hard core, then you end up putting in the Veteran and it just kind of hinders the growth of these rookies that these teams hope to have leading the squad for years to come.  It's better to let the veterans come in and have the rookies learn a bit.  Then if they struggle you've got a new fresh start with the rookies, vs if the rookies struggle and then you put the so so veterans in...well that's just deflating to the whole team.

Justin Fields might be another draftee that we could witness become a starter by week 4, I reckon. Unless Andy Dalton performs very good and saves himself. There is also Zach Wilson who might also surprise everyone hehe. There is not much news updates on him.
3805  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-08-26]11% of young Americans have invested their stimulus checks into cryp on: August 29, 2021, 05:45:46 AM
11% is a small number, however, yes it might be a very noticeable trend for the regulators. I reckon this is why they want to create stricter rules and impose more limits on those who want to buy and invest in the cryptospace. I speculate that everything in the cryptospace might become similar to Hong Kong where it is needed to be a professional licensed trader to directly buy and sell cryptoassets.
3806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 28, 2021, 08:10:58 AM
Either Inoue vs Casimero or Casimero vs. Donaire is good. But I am honestly more excited to see Casimero vs Inoue. That would be more explosive. I'd definitely watch that fight and be entertained no matter who turns out the winner.

I'd rather see Donaire vs Casimero first. I like to see Casimero having another match first before entering the final stage which is dealing against Naoya Inoue. We didn't see Casimero at 100% during the fight with Rigo as the latter is always on defense and running mode. And for Donaire, he's no chance for a rematch against Inoue if he won't pass Casimero first to finished the unsettled business.

There will be more good impressions and possibly more recognition if Casimero will pass Donaire first. Winning against Donaire will create a bigger market too for Casimero.
Bottom line, the next match should be just between these 3. If Arum will spoil it and find other boxers instead, which I found there's a chance, we won't know.

Casimero Vs Donaire would be best. Its unification and the first time in the history of Philippine boxing that there will be Pinoy vs Pinoy unifying a world title. Donaire should just forget about that trash talk, it's part of the game now in boxing.

Casimero receives a big approval from a lot of boxing analysts. talagang mag ibubuga ito. among the top fighters in the Philippines, he stands out.

We like to see that fight happen but the camp of Donaire cancelled the fight, so that dream is already over. Now, Casimero after his win against Rigo, he is targeting Inoue and probably if he is lucky and upset the monster, he could go up and challenge a champion in the next division.

Casimero mentioned 2 names after Rigondeaux. He declared that he wants to fight Donaire and then Inoue. However, after the boring fight that made Casimero appear like a chasing clown with no technical boxing skills, I reckon a Donaire versus Inoue unification might be organized next before Casimero.

It appears we have another pretty fighting kitten for this event hehehe. Her name is Vanessa Demopoulos, she was a confirmed exotic dancer before she became an MMA fighter. She is very flexible and she likes to do high wide kicks!

I will mix that beauty with something more topic related Cheesy That kitten is a real tiger. Not many will return into sport after getting that kind of damage.

What did she use to shield her opponents kicks and punches? I hope that she did not use only her face hehehe. Also, her opponent JJ Aldrich has a reach of 171 centimeters, she has 151 centimeters according to the fight metrics website. This is an 8 inch reach advantage if converted. I predict the fight will be similar to a practice punch mits session with Vannessa’s face as the mit.

3809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: August 28, 2021, 02:25:36 AM
Aging wrestlers like Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley have accumulated many injuries and serious surgeries over the course of their long competitive careers.

While Jake Paul is a very young 24 year old who as far as I know has never dealt with a serious injury/surgery.

Jake Paul has around a 20 pound weight advantage. 190 pounds isn't where Ben Askren or Tyron Woodley competed in MMA. But it is the weight they'll be facing Jake Paul at.

Jake Paul said he wants to fight Canelo but Jake Paul fights at 190 lbs while Canelo fights at 160-168 lbs. So I wonder how that's supposed to happen.

However, 190 pounds might also be near Tyron Woodley’s normal weight and he might not anymore have the same problems caused by dehydration from weight cutting.

This is Tyron Woodley’s hype for this fight hehe. Will the fight be a comedy show similar to Ben Askren or will we witness a real fight? Ben and Tyron hate Dana and I speculate this might be another comedy show to embarass the sport of MMA. Jake Paul wins with a knockout in round 1 hehehehe.

During an appearance on Showtime’s ALL THE SMOKE show, Woodley explained how Mayweather is training him to win world titles in boxing.

“Make sure you tune in because it’s gonna be something different than what you expect. It’s not the YouTuber vs. the TikToker. This is a real motherfuckin’ fight. It’s gonna look like one; I promise you that. It’s gonna look like a real fight, it is a real fight, and when it’s done and it’s over with, they gonna be like, ‘Tyron’s gonna be a world champion in boxing.’ Floyd said, ‘I’m not training you so you can beat this guy. As long as your mind is there and as long as you’re in shape, you’re gonna beat this guy. But I want people to look at you in your first fight and say, nah, this kid’s gonna be the world champion.’ And my training camp has been nothing short of it.”

@GamblingBro. It is not technically stealing, however, yes it should be understood that you were using the word as an expression that they are charging too much. But similar to movie theatres where they also make money in snack and drinks, I reckon small sportsbooks also try to have additional revenue from withdrawal fees.

Is Cam Newton unvaccinated? It appears then that this has made Bill Belichick’s decision much easier hehe. I predict that we might see Cam Newton play on week 1, lose that game and Belichick will decide to let Mac Jones play week 2.

@wheelz1200. Who has the higher chance to take the Patriots to the playoffs? Cam Newton or Mac Jones?

New England Patriots QB Cam Newton returned to practice Thursday after sitting out the NFL's five-day entry cadence under COVID-19 protocols, giving him three days to prepare for the club's preseason finale on Sunday against the New York Giants.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick has had little to say on Newton's situation, instead standing on a statement the club released that explained the quarterback's absence as a "misunderstanding" of the league's protocols regarding COVID-19 testing done away from team facilities. Only unvaccinated players are subject to the five-day re-entry policy.
"He didn't go against team rules," Belichick said of Newton, per NFL Network's Mike Giardi, adding, "All the QBs will get work today."

Belichick has been mum about who will start between Newton and rookie Mac Jones, who has been impressive in training camp, and reiterated Thursday he doesn't have a timetable for naming a Week 1 starter. He did acknowledge Tuesday, however, that Jones had a big opportunity in Newton's absence. He apparently took advantage of it in joint practices with the Giants, while Newton's contact with the Patriots for five days was relegated to virtual participation in meetings.

3812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: August 27, 2021, 01:30:42 AM

Paul is a professional boxer. Last November, he knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson.
He recently signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime Sports. I wish him new spectacular victories!

Jake Paul is not a real professional boxer. He is only a youtuber with 3 professional fights. Also, his boxing matches were versus people who were not real professional fighters with the exception of Ben Askren and presently his next opponent, Tyron Woodley.

I predict a knockout hehe. Each of them can knockout the other.

You might be overestimating the government’s capabilities. Why then did they not stop those terrorists from crashing 2 airplanes on the twin towers and another one on the pentagon in the 911 incident?

Comparing apple pies and superglue.
By the same logic, if the government is unable to stop you from crossing the street on the red light they are unable to drop two atomic bombs in a war...
Are you seriously comparing the average user who most likely had already lost his seed phrase or never actually printed it with a terrorist cell?

Also, you reckon that the government can fully enforce their laws on the cryptospace? How would they know and stop me from sending 1 moneroj to pay someone who sold me an unlicensed firearm?

Try to do that in NK, and if you think that's an extreme thing, just try to get that firearm in Japan.
And to do a bit of crossposting, we're going to see it live as in one huge country experiment what cryptos can do in a country with a hostile government in Afghanistan, are you willing to bet on it? Behind every keyboard, there is a warrior, 2 hours behind bars in a cell and the numbers dwindle to 0.0 something

Again, the fact that they aren't doing anything is not because they can't, it's because is easier to let some small fish think they are free, it's easier to let a few people get some money crypto trading and keeping them occupied rather than having them queueing at the unemployment office and asking for food stamps or taking the matter in their own hands and rob somebody.

However, it has clearly showed that they could not monitor everyone similar to the way that you have described. You reckon they can monitor all Monero users in their country and know where and when they send their coins?

Hehe the argument does not need to be about firearms. How would they stop someone from sending 1 moneroj as payment to a prostitute or for drugs or stolen credit card numbers? The argument is about enforcement of the rules.

I think the Bears will suck this year tbh.  We will certainly be a bit better than the Giants however that is for sure..not that that is saying very much lol.  Outside of Saquon Barkley the Giants are going to be very, very, very BAD lol.

If Cam stays in we will be fighting for the bottom right there with you! Cheesy

Agreed, they might also not reach the playoffs with Mac Jones. However, the trade deadline is on November. If the 49ers should resolve that they make Trey Lance their permanent no.1 quarterback before the deadline, is there a chance that Bill Belichick might try to get Jimmy Garoppolo?

No way not after taking Mac with the 1 this year and cam sitting there.  Jimmy isn't a huge upgrade.  Now if Aaron Rodgers becomes available that's a whole different story.

However, if Bill Belichick had the choice of only Cam Newton, Mac Jones or get Jimmy Garoppolo, who among these quarterbacks could be the most possible to bring the Patriots to the playoffs? Certainly this would be the return of Jimmy Garoppolo, I reckon.
3815  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Bull Attempts to Break $50,000 - A Psychological Hurdle as well as The Next on: August 26, 2021, 06:42:53 AM
It is best to add charts because they show the information you want to convey quickly.

Personally, I do not see that there is a psychological barrier at 50 thousand dollars, but rather at one trillion market capacity, which represents about 54K USD, and therefore all prices below this top mean that the price will fluctuate until it is broken, and therefore it is difficult for the price to return without that.
In other words, if the price breaks the 50K USD, it will not constitute a change, or we will not return below those levels (a psychological barrier).

The RSI in that chart might be wrong. All of the charts from major exchanges show a descending RSI and form a bearish divergence. Bitcoin is also presenty breaking the trend, however, if this day’s candle returns above this trendline it might be okay hehe.

What is everyone’s comment if Jack Mallers went to Afghanistan and talked to the Taliban leadership to bring his Strike technology to hyperdollarize the country through a stablecoin with bitcoin used only as the medium to send value similar to the original plan for El Salvador?

Why do you think the Taliban would embrace a new technology when it comes to people who are quite traditional and don’t allow some fundamental things like foreign music, movies, and beauty salons? Although it is true that they currently have a problem with payment services, because Western Union has currently blocked its service for Afghanistan, and $800 million in foreign remittances came through it.

I don't really want the Taliban to start using Bitcoin, do we want to link to terrorism, even though the US suddenly says they are no longer terrorists - what's next, an apology to kill Bin Laden and put Al-Qaeda on the list of friendly organizations?

That is outside the argument. I am only asking if Jack Maller’s original idea to hyperdollarize El Salvador through stablecoins would work in dollarizing a country in disorder similar to Afghanistan.

Also, it is not for you, me or anyone who dictates who should or should not use this technology. They might presently be using it and we do not know, similar to criminals use of American dollars in the black market.

The SEC chairman knows the government has no power over the internet in this age of VPNs, TOR and other privacy tools.

Sorry to burst your bubble but all of them proved to be total failures when the government actually wanted to track somebody! If the government doesn't send the military to knock at your door, break all your fingers and then ask you if you have downloaded stuff illegally doesn't mean it's not cable of doing so, it's just they don't want to.

In all the western world there was never a real war on privacy or what stuff is illegal or not on the internet, the governments only acted on serious cases, they let you have some freedom knowing too well they can cut it in a matter of seconds. No power over the internet? It takes one major ISP to power off its infrastructure and you're going to miss the old dial-up days.

Do not underestimate what they can do, if they want!

As for the title "desperation", sorry but I don't see anything like this, you would see a totally different course of action if they would be "desperate". What have they actually done other than talking and proposing stuff o a date?
