interesting :: https://checkoin.org/Since such a thing can't seem to be done in a trustless manner (as you allude to with talking about adding a reputation system) and could lead to a full monopolization, forced standards and extortion type thing, then complete hijacking of bitcoin and trying to convert it into a more physical based than digital currency, I tried to look up your background and it seemed like constant pictures of liberal, hippy type people walking around in jungles (whether fake or manufactured background, who cares). Anyway, you obviously spent a A LOT of effort in coming up with all this so far, which means it's obviously not a one man, non-profit operation and there's an actual motive behind this, probably by a larger group. So the question is, what exactly is it that you hope to accomplish with this, since while, yes, you would raise TPS by doing such a thing, you would inherently, drastically weaken Bitcoin security at the same time if such a thing was massively adopted, to the point where if this became "a thing", it would lead to the eventual derailment of the blockchain in general, and converted entirely into a centrally issued physical currency. A trojan horse in other words. There is also the fact that this idea is completely irrelevent since gold and silver coins already exist and would be far superior for the task, so I can't really view your ideas as anything but a trojan horse to try and weaken or derail Bitcoin. Using Bitcoin is best for moving value frictionlessly in the digital world, and gold and silver for the physical world (except for it's enormous granularity issues that would likely just end up with you using Bitcoin instead for both)

So it is cntered arounds planned projects
Yes it is. SMC is about finding the smartest projects to invest your time and your money into. Think of it as crowd funded intel. Any cool feature in code?
Yes. The coolest feature is there is no feature. That means it works. SMC is x11 algo. And x11 will always have programmers fine tuning githubs. That means distributed R&D. That means distributed mining teams. And if you read the thread you will see that the SMC dev is very active, and I would suggest one of the most consistent/committed devs that I've witnessed in this crazy industry. SMC is a solid yet simple product. How's that for smart? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

quote of the day 59:00 - He (Szabo) wishes Ethereum would not switch to proof-of-stake. He speculates about combining proof-of-work with proof-of-stake, but gives no details.
I've thought long about this issue before. Since mining is inherently a futures market, there are many ways you can try to replicate this feature, either with time opportunity costs, or proof of burn combined with strange economic systems. Most of the methods of trying to do so with time opportunity costs just replicate some form of proof of stake and create another closed entropy, permissioned ledger like all proof of stake coins. However, you might be able to utilize proof of burn and some weird economic system to combine the two while still being an open entropy, permissionless ledger. I say "weird economic system" for a reason, because the last time anyone tried making a coin like this was "Slimcoin", and I think people proof of burned half the entire money supply just for the fuck of it.

where can trade?
does not matter the 'exchange' scene is a constant parade of pop, hack, and fade to black there will be 2-3 more 'evolutions' in what types of coins get traded on what type of exchanges it is a lossers game ... really ... honestly ... what is the success rate 1%? RBBT is at sustain levels ... aka 'a mature' chain ... and was traded on the most popular alt exchange, that time can not be repeated, few get this concept but it is key ... all pre-2015 coins that can survive will become of value ... the trick now is to keep the chain alive and forget trading until the time is right ... secure that and RBBT secures a future.
