I can't believe the Clippers are still choking. I thought they are an improved team this season but it looks like they are even worst than last season.
To be fair with Kahwi and Paul George, they play excellent ball, and shooting very good. It's that the bench team didn't provide any, it seems that they are watching the two and thinking it can bring them the win. While Luka and the Dallas team is scoring, it's really time for Kawhi to shutdown Luka next game.

There are only a few teams who had won the series after getting down 2-0... can the Clippers be one of them?
Kawhi and Toronto was one of them, if my memory serves me right, they are down against the Bucks 0-2 and then won the next 4 games.
3802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Donaire vs Oubaali - May 29 on: May 26, 2021, 12:00:45 PM
^^ Indeed, Donaire's left hook was the best in this division during his prime and even if he lost to Inoue, we can still see that money left hook that he possesses even if critics are discounting him against the Inoue that time.

Might bet early on Donaire because of that huge odds, unless he really grows old overnight, he can still go make an upset and create another ripple in this division. Inoue and Casimero could be in the horizon for him if he win and take the championship belt from Nordine  Oubaali.
3803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr on Aug 21 in Vegas on: May 26, 2021, 10:38:45 AM
Finally a fight that is worth watching since it's 2 years since Pacquaio's last fight, I hope that he will be on a tip top shape for this fight because 2 years is a long time of not training.

Maybe he didn't do a high intensity training but for sure he include exercise and other physical activities that can increase his stamina and other physical attributes so we shouldn't worried about that since the main issue here is his focus, Manny is politician now and his campaigns or other upcoming political activities can possibly bother him to focus on his upcoming fight.
Yes, and I will reckon that Manny walk around the ball park number of 140-150 lbs, good for the welterweight division, so he doesn't need to cut more weight. And then if he goes to training, we will see the body again of Manny, ageless fit and prime for another big fight in his career.

Of course he loves to play basketball so that will make him fit as well in those 2 years that he is not boxing but doing charity works and focusing on his job as a senator.
3804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 26, 2021, 09:35:50 AM
Seems that Ice Cube has predicted it to the tee:

This is a 2 year old video, his responds to Kawhi Leonard choosing Clippers over his Lakers.

Now it's haunting Leonard as they are down on the Dallas Mavericks series and losing two games at home.
3805  Other / Archival / Re: Paper wallet inquiries on: May 25, 2021, 01:35:56 PM
I would put few hundred bucks in multiple altcoins and planning to keep it for long time (over 2 years). I am planning to store them in paper wallets (for each).

I'm looking for:

  • Links of opensource generators of TRX, DOGE
  • ques: Where to see my address for each generator?
  • ques: After I generate wallet, Is there any kind of activation should i do? Or moving my funds to the address directly?

Thanks in advance.  Smiley

As far as TRX goes, I remember this one: https://github.com/eskakatana/tronpaperwallet.org.

You can follow the guide here: https://steemit.com/tron/@cryptokatana/trx-how-to-create-and-restore-a-tron-paper-wallet

As long as you have the private key and keep it protected, you can move your funds anymore and directly.
3806  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin starting to recover on: May 25, 2021, 01:03:22 PM
Too early though to say that we are recovering, the price is still fluctuating from $36k-$38k. If we are on the way to recovery, a good support though should be at $40k. So it might be a slow and grind to reach $40k again unless whales started to bought bitcoin right now or there is some positive news that will push the price to that range. So just sit and relax and let's see in June that we have someone on the bullish cycle again, (I hope so).
3807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: May 25, 2021, 11:56:27 AM

I agree that this is going to be big test for Haney, Linares is very tough opponent and I'm sure he is going to train seriously, but I would say that he is a B level fighter in my book, just like I said, he has a good chance against Loma, but he blew it off.

So I think the pressure is on Haney's shoulder to perform and win against a old but durable Linares. Jorge will definitely make Haney uncomfortable, but I'm leaning that Haney will win this fight.

Even though I’m not a  big fan of lightweight boxers I shall follow the  progress of the coming fight   to prove the theory that fast legs combined with the fine boxing technique may decide the outcome. Linares seems to have  both technique and legs to counter Haney ... will see, looks like the winner is bound to face Fortuna.  Grin
Yeah, but Linares is not that young anymore and he could settle down as the fight goes on. And it might be the best time for Haney to exploit if Linares will go toe to toe in the middle of the round.

Again, as I have mentioned, the ball is on Haney here, to proved that he can be called one of the 4 kings in the lightweight division. So that's I'm seeing Haney just to win by decision most probably.

I'm not hearing any postponement though, maybe sport bookies are just late on putting this fight on their platform.
3808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 25, 2021, 09:31:40 AM
Butler only shoots 4-22 in game 1, I would say the defense put on him is very effective.
Giannis may choke but this time Bucks has a lot of options.

Butler having a not so good performance last night and they managed to keep it close so i think this time around he will improved FG percentage-wise and that's the reason why i'm with the Heat here. Heat +4.5 @1.99, this will be another close game and a 5 point lead to either team will be most likely. I just don't like Giannis' performance during play-offs, he usually choked.
Not close mate, Butler and Bam continue to struggle in game 2 and they allowed Bucks to hit those 3's in the 1st quarter and it become a insormountable lead. Giannis performed really good in this game as well so it's a lost for us. Game 3 might be different though.

Luckily, I got Denver -3.5 before the game starts at boosted 2.09, so it's a win.

And what can we say, @stadus again on the roll with his predictions. Congrats as well to @danherbias07 and for those who have won in today's match.
3809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 25, 2021, 08:53:49 AM
How about the Milwaukee Bucks today?
Great win for them. The 3 point shot will really the big difference in this game for the Bucks.

Looks like they don't gonna give any chance to the Miami Heat this time. they won the last 2 games and managed to give Miami Heat the worst game in the NBA playoffs today.
Miami went into the finals last year and beat them 4-1. So definitely they don't need to sleep on them as they can still come back from 0-2 deficit. Game 3 will be crucial for the Heat, they are now desperate, so for sure it will be a good match at their homecourt and I wouldn't be surprised if they get a win.
3810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: May 24, 2021, 04:30:11 PM
Just an update of the exciting fights we will see soon.

we are going to see 2 big fights for the month of August.

August 14, 2021 - Casimero vs Rigondeaux
August 21, 2021 - Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr..(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5339133.0)

Let's hope that the Filipino fighters will be victorious.
That's a bit bias though but seeing how Pacquaio isn't who he was before, I think it is a bit of a 50/50 for Pacquiao versus Errol Spence while I think that Rigondeaux can dominate Casimero, Casimero is good but I don't think he has enough experience on big stage.
I disagree about Casimero lacking enough experience on big stage. Did you know that he travel to the champions country and beat them? And of course there will be hostilities and riots, just search the video on youtube and you will find them.

But I agree on the Spence vs Pacquiao, it's 50/50 and hard to see Manny beating a prime Spence unless he got his signature left that Spence wasn't expected.
3811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sometimes wonder whether Bitcoin has established a religion. on: May 24, 2021, 10:21:52 AM
I sometimes wonder whether Bitcoin has established a religion.
Those of us who are fixed holders of Bitcoin are believers of Bitcoin.
Those who try to eliminate or replace Bitcoin are heretics or atheists. What is happening now I want to call it a religious war
In this way, Satoshi , the creator of Bitcoin, can be called a god. He changed the order of the world and brought revolution.

Not the first time that I've heard it here:

Personally, I don't consider bitcoin as a sort of 'religion'. Everyone is just a trader or speculator here, and we shouldn't consider Satoshi as God. He just gifted us with something that we can make money, simply as that.
3812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Josh Taylor vs Jose Ramirez - May 22 on: May 24, 2021, 09:29:25 AM
Josh Taylor got the win but the fight was closer than it needed to be. In the last three rounds he was just trying to run out the clock and that's why the judges gave each fighter 6 rounds. The difference ended up being the knockdowns which took a lot out of Ramirez.
Yes the difference were the knockdowns but there were many instances in which I was wondering what Ramirez was thinking, it is true Taylor has a style that can be a little bit dirty at times but boxers have the instructions to always protect themselves no matter what and Ramirez dropped his guard many times expecting the referee to intervene and he received many punches because of it, he even showed his back to Taylor once which was a huge mistake and I think something similar happened with the second knockdown in which both fighters were in a clinch and Ramirez was expecting the referee to intervene just to receive an uppercut from which it took him many rounds to recover.
Yep, that is the difference here, I think Ramirez steals the last 3 rounds, but wasn't enough to overcome that 2 knock downs on him. That's Taylor style though, clinch and then throwing rabbit punches, good though that the referee did call it out. I like though the left hand punches, was short but it has power. Next for Taylor would probably another easy mandatory.
3813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 24, 2021, 08:41:47 AM
^^ Young confirmed that after the game, I'm just thinking that the fans are just carried away, it was their homecourt and there was fans as well so the hostilities.

For sure those top seeded teams that lost today, will have to re-adjust and will come back strong to even the series. I'm expecting the Miami and Nuggets team will even the series tomorrow.

Here is Gobert flopping for those who didn't watch the game  Grin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTFd1Ff6Mgw
3814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 24, 2021, 01:31:10 AM
We are watching a pretty good match-up, Hawks vs. Knicks. While Knicks use all players Hawks only rely on Trae Young and John Collins for scoring. It's good to see Derrick Rose back to play-off mode despite all these injuries. He looks focused today. Hawks defense looks pretty weak, they gave away a lot of rebounds. It's still head to head game, we may even see an overtime here. I'm expecting a narrow Knicks win for this game, they looked better.
Trae Young deliver though, 2 clutch free throw to tie and then the drive in with less than a second left in the clock. I'm hoping for an overtime as well. Randle only manage to score 15 points though, fans are at a disbelieved as Young silence the crowd and take game 1.

@Maasdamer  - just one game though for the Knicks, they can regroup and see how it goes. They don't want to go 0-2 in the next game.
3815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet365 just achieved a big milestone. on: May 23, 2021, 03:53:02 PM
Not surprised though, every one that involves themselves in gambling as owners, partial owners will really earn tons of money. Plus the pandemic really magnify it, with gamblers getting online more than ever as traditional based casinos all over the world are closed.

There could be other owners of online casino's specially that started like in 2013 era that could be millionaires or even billionaires by this time.

And as you can see right now, there are crypto casinos being born like every year and trying to get a slice on this billion dollar industry. But it is a cutthroat business, if you don't adopt and improved your casino won't get that attention from gamblers. So it's not that easy to be an owner, and it takes time and money to succeed.
3816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 23, 2021, 02:42:38 PM

Norrie vs Tsitsipas now, first set tied, 2-2.
Tsitsipas beat Norrie in straight sets and won the title, I thought the match would last three sets but Tsitsipas was strong enough for Norrie, so He could finish the match in just two sets.
I agree, Tsitsipas was too strong for Norrie, last time, Tsitsipas lost a set against Musetti, but it seems he learn his lessons and doesn't want this one slip away.

Good for Norrie for reaching the finals though, all other rated players exited in the last 16 if I'm not mistaken and it's only Tsitsipas ranked second in this tournament who survives and eventually win the trophy. So him and Nadal will be the favorites in the French Open.
3817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 22, 2021, 04:44:31 PM
Today the first play-off matches. I will not discover anything new by saying that in the competition LAC with Dallas I consider the Clippers team to be the definite favorites. Luca's genius is not enough for a strong and even team from Los Angeles. I believe the Mavs will win a maximum of 1 game. The rivalry between the Miami and Milwaukee teams should be more equal. Miami is a very intelligent team and as they showed last year, in the series they can be a threat to any opponent. But the Bucks are a stronger team than last season and I think they should beat Heat this time.
Yes, they are the favourite against Dallas, but last year the Clippers choke against Denver, leading the series 3-1 and then blew it all away.

So it will be interesting how they have adjusted and forgot that memory from last year. So it is expecting that they will win, but it will also be a tough one for them against Luka. Not seeing any sweep in this series.
3818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr on Aug 21 in Vegas on: May 22, 2021, 06:04:53 AM
I hope Manny still has the power and speed that he last showed against Thurman, Spence is another animal that is hard to tame, in Thurman's fight I have confidence in Manny but in this fight, I have a second thought if he can keep up with Spence's speed, power, and dominance in the ring, there's a big size discrepancy and Spence is so great on his last fight while Pacquiao's last fight was two years ago
.
I disagree though that Spence was great in his last fight, against Danny Garcia.

But I agree about your qualms on Spence here, as you have said, specially in the power department, the Pacman's chin are going to be tested and we don't know if it can hold against Spence, and we all know that Pacman's jaw has broken already and he could get knockout by Spence.

In any case it will be a good fight, an old but very experience fighter against a young and tall which could give Pacman a lot of problem.
3819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 21, 2021, 11:01:54 AM
But Lakers have the experience here, that's there main advantage here. Scratch the regular seasons game, this is play-off so everyone needs to step up and hope we will see a good first round match-up.

I agree with you, Lakers might win this series but Suns here will definitely give the Lakers a tough series. What I saw in the Warriors game convince me to bet against the Lakers in game 1 of the Suns vs Lakers series, I like the Suns here before the Lakers will figure out how to beat them.
Yes, Lakers will be a tough match up for everyone in the West because of the experience and now that they are complete, maybe not healthy but at least they have Lebron back again. Booker will be the key for the Suns, he need to produce big numbers, but for sure they will contest every shot of his. I'm thinking that Lakers might assign Kuzma or Wes Matthews and then rotation of Caruso and KCP. So let's see how game 1 will turn out to be, this is a game of adjustments.
3820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Josh Taylor vs Jose Ramirez - May 22 on: May 21, 2021, 10:10:22 AM
To be on the safe side, I would say Taylor by decision @1.84.

It seems that this two fighters are going to be very cautious in the beginning and it's more of a chess match more than the Nery vs Figueroa wherein from the first round, they really engage themselves and it's up to their stamina as to who will be the last man standing or you will get a knock out.

So we might see a lot of actions in the 6th round here and then will go to the judges decision in the end.

Yes, Ramirez is the underdog here and sportbooks are favoring Taylor to win. But since both have great records, this will be a good fight to watch and may go the distance. Now, we are seeing more valuable fights. Better than exhibition fights, in my opinion.
Yes, this is unification bout, two champions fighting and only one will win.

Forget about those exhibition fights, that's all for the money and most of them are circus fight. This is a real and solid fight in the 140 lbs and we have seen the another great champion from 135 has move up to this weight. So everyone could have an idea as how this division will turn.
