If the suns defeat the lakers in the playoffs it will be the biggest upset of all time, the suns need to play their A-game for 7 games to do it, it will be hard since LeBron and AD have a comeback and are really fresh, it's like they take a vacation just to prepare for the playoffs the suns team have made it this far, but facing lebron and the lakers is just an impossible task in my opinion.

I don't call it a big upset as the Suns are the number 2 team while the Lakers are in rank number 7. Besides, Lakers is just a slight favorite here, they are not really big favorites like they were in the past playoffs. This is a big challenge for the Suns but they can win against the current lineup.

We saw how the Lakers struggle against the Lakers, that kind of bad game has no place against the Suns as the Suns will make sure they will play.

Indeed.  I don't think many people will be betting on the Suns.  I don't think they have much of a chance at all unless Booker has an amazing shooting night and the rebound gods are shining on DeAndre Ayton.  Otherwise, the Lakers are just too big with too many good shooters, and they happen to have the best player in the world.  I think in the end it will come down to the Suns not having enough talent on the bench or enough size in the starting lineup.

I am hoping Westbrook is able to make it to the playoffs this year with a win today.  Not sure if I'll watch or not because, Indiana...  Pulling for Russ though.

At first i didn't believe you but i just checked it and Lakers are really favorites. Personally I think this is huge bookmakers' mistake and they will lose ton of money.

Can you enlighten us on why the Odds between the Lakers and Suns are a huge mistake? And why the bookmaker will take its toll of lossing tons of money because of this action? How was that possible?
If you're an NBA fan, you won't need to bother yourself checking the odds If it's correct or not because everyone knew who's the real underdogs between the Lakers and Suns.

In case you forget, the Lakers are the defending champs and they just added a strong center in Andre Drummond, the 6th man of the year Harell, and the second nominated as the 6th man of the year Schröder.

You know what's a huge mistake a bookmaker will make? Turning the odds around.

We can't deny the fact that Suns already improved but playing against a healthy Lakers surely it will be a tough assignment for them.

Booker and CP3 needs to excell from how they play the regular season, they need to extend more. we've seen how LeBron and AD lifted it in  the final quarter from that last game against the Warriors, they still have it, showing that once they really push more harder it change the tempo of the game.

We never know what will happened until we've seen them play against each other and bring the best out from this both teams.

Lakers have players than can match CP3 or Booker and make their lives miserable here, and then Deandre Ayton against Drummond, Harrell and then AD. So in paper it is really a close match up. As Lakers are on the top as a defensive team so this might be a close call.

You are correct that Sixers is the better team, however, all the 3 games played last season were all a high-scoring game.
Sixers won all the games, by the way, so we should not be surprised why Sixers is currently at -7 in game 1.. the expectation is so high for the Sixers.

Westbrook might struggle against the defenders of the Sixers, Danny Green alone is already a great defender, so he will be limited.

I completely agree that the Suns will give the Lakers a hard time plus the fact that Lebron James and AD were coming from an injury so they are not yet 100 percent healthy. The problem for us bettors is to know when to bet for the Suns as they will not be swept or what strategy to use so after their series we can say that we are still profitable.

I agree phoenix suns have been amazing this season and done some great results for the first time in so many years
while the lakers were most of this season with james and AD mostly injured during this season

Lebron will never guard Chris Paul, lots of players that the Suns will score if Paul will not, and Paul is a great passer, he can still make a play without scoring. Let's take a look at the Suns roster.

These are young players, except Paul, so even if they don't have the experience of a playoff, I'm sure they will give their best to win against the Lakers. "DEFENDING CHAMPION"  that means you're currently better than any team in the league. Basic initiative, how could a team became a Champion If the other team is better than them?
I know, there's a lot of changes with the current roster, but again If you're not aware the Lakers were not healthy the whole season.  
If you want to check all the sportsbook, majority of them will have the same odds. And that means, I am not the only person who thinks that
