3801  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin could be use as unified currency for all fiat money around the world? on: September 12, 2018, 07:15:42 PM
Usually bitcoin is sold in USD or EURO, even locally when you exchange, firstly you get bitcoin exchanged in one of them, it depends on which currency has major impact on country's economy. Bitcoin -> USD/EURO -> Local currency. There is no need to bring physical money, have a card like Xapo or debit cards with good terms, can't see any idea in your proposal.
Oh, also if you only hold bitcoin, you don't know how will price change, so better to avoid any unwanted issues.
3802  Economy / Goods / Re: [Raffle] Huawei P10 32gb 2017 - Tickets 0.003 BTC on: September 11, 2018, 08:52:31 PM
I'll take the slot "e", been in the market for a Huawei lately. Been having a strange time getting one reliably in USA. How did the phone manage to accumulate small scratches from daily use, and managed this daily use without a charger? Cheesy

Ah well, I suppose chargers aren't that expensive anyways. Might grab another ticket or two depending on the interest and how quickly it fills up.
Huawei p9 and up series are great, there is a good combination of quality and price. But I adore sony's design, huawei m4 aqua has amazing design.
Maybe I'll buy ticket here (my luck stops me from taking it lol) but why don't you include box? I ask this because in need, legally it's impossible to pawn a smartphone.
3803  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: September 11, 2018, 08:09:22 PM
To be fair I have never interested in blockchain based gambling websites but I am a huge fan of blockchain technology because it's really amazing, it's future. But I can't agree you in one task: A Casino that integrates crypto isn't more progressive to new technologies than others who doesn't. Usually owners do this because there are less opponents in crypto market, they are more anonymous and they have one payment way which is pretty easy to handle.
3804  Economy / Economics / Re: How do crypto exchange help a cryptocurrency? on: September 10, 2018, 10:15:03 PM
It's funny to read what others post here, let me state my true (I think so) opinion:
After all USD is most widely used currency and we convert bitcoin in usd. Without crypto exchange, it would be impossible to determine it's price and no one would use it. What is crypto? Just virtual thing. From it's nature, price is determined by last buyer overally, it's decentralyzed. Also people need price in usd behind bitcoin to use it in real life.
3805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: September 10, 2018, 09:35:34 PM
If you are honest person, do only legal things and think you won't have problems in future, then banking is safe in any way. But on another hand, bitcoin of course. For example if anything happens, bank can freeze your account and funds, no one can freeze your bitcoins when you own them on cold storage. If you are getting caught and you run away, escape somehow, your only relationship with money can be done by bitcoin. I think everything is clear now.
3806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market is going down, is it a good time to hold the coin? on: September 09, 2018, 11:35:27 PM
Usually such threads are useless but now to my mind it's really good time to discuss about it. See price of ethereum, it's lower than bitcoin cash and also lower tham 200 usd as of currently. To my mind bitcoin's price won't go high currently but 200$ ethereum isn't a solid price so what do you think guys, will it double soon?  Another coin I think to buy is ripple, it's prettly low in price too.
3807  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying from bitcoin.com? on: September 09, 2018, 10:38:32 PM
It may sounds that Bitcoin.com is trustworthy yeah? Since it Top Domain? No man, a big NO. This website is owned by a bitcoin cash slave called Roger Ver. This website is untrusted from this community and believe me bitcointalk is N1 here than roger's failure. So they try their best to promote bitcoin cash, you'll read a lot of silliness on their website regarding to bitcoin. Why I posted this? To know you, this website isn't something you have to visit, so nothing to buy from them, all they try is to sell and promote bitcoin cash.
3808  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scared Of Taxes on: September 06, 2018, 11:16:26 PM
Where do you live? I ask this because usually some countries don't ask you to pay taxes on earned money which comes from outside (it's usually on small countries). Also some country doesn't take care of online income seriously.
Your only problem can be if you get a huge amount of money regularly on your account, if your monthly profit is 1000$ and so low numbers, then I highly doubt you'll have problems but still everything depends on where you live.
3809  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Does anyone need new ASIC technology for Bitcoin mining? on: September 06, 2018, 09:29:15 PM
Have you heared anything about company called "Bitmain"? They are so shitty that they invented ASIC miner for ethereum and for this reason GPU mining slowly does (mostly ATI cards since Nvidia 1070+ is optimized for neoscrypt). Well, I may speak a lot but if you have something potent, better than bitmain, bitfury and baikal can create, then you have possibility to become billionare. You know what to do after that...
3810  Other / Meta / Re: Let’s do an experiment: allow signatures on the Ivory Tower for one month. on: September 06, 2018, 08:05:45 PM
It's even hard to find Ivory Tower child board when you visit bitcointalk's main page, lol, also disabling of signatures isn't a big deal.
One way I can think is to not count post/activity on bitcoin discussion, trading discussion sections (some others too) and also remove send merit option on posts on these boards. After this I have no idea why the hell to post and abuse these sections? Ehh, what about to just hang on?
3811  Economy / Speculation / Re: What strategy we should take when Bitcoin price fall on: September 06, 2018, 07:17:07 PM
It's really hard to have a strategy. For example you can do following: When you see that price drops and you are in loss, sell bitcoins, wait a little bit, if you are lucky and price continues to fall, then buy it. This way you'll have more bitcoins and main idea here is to hold as much as possible and wait for high price. For me it's gold rule: Bitcoin will always reach it's all time maximum price.
Other thing you can to do is sell bitcoins and buy altcoin you think it will rise and then move again on bitcoin or hold the same amount and wait.
3812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 50 GPU Mining Farm Earns Less Than $10 A Day - VoskCoin Mining Farm Profits on: September 06, 2018, 10:13:19 AM
Oh, you have 68K subscribers, you are popular on youtube Smiley Congrats... Liked your video.
Bitmain made asic miners for ethereum and other altcoins but GPU mining will not end in near future. Personally the only GPUs I would hold currently would be Nvidia's cards like gtx 1070 and up. Did you remember that ROI for gtx 1080ti was 2 month at the moment in winter? They worked amazingly for NeoScrypt coins as I remember so there will come time when their price go up and GPU (especially Nvidia) mining will become more profitable than asic for ethereum and so on.
3813  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂CASINO/12 COINS AVAILABLE 🎁28 BILLION BETS PROMO🎁 on: September 05, 2018, 10:20:57 PM
It's very sad, despite the fact that I am only promoter, Bitsler means something for me, Bitsler's team is amazing, very supportive and polite. This website did and attracted a lot of customers, every month it had upcoming billionth bet, it's not something that happens in every casino, you guys were top. You have enemy? Good. You have enemies? - Better. This is the worst time and I hope you guys will soon continue regularly.
Seems devans give a hand, will others do the same? No one requests it, I just asked.
And take note, they host one of the longest signature campaign in this forum that pays significant amount of reward on a weekly basis. Their success in their sector is very clear and maybe, just maybe, that's the reason why they're getting DDoSed right now.

...During this time Bitsler will be down but we will continue to read your messages and will try to answer as many questions as possible. Everything will be done with the utmost transparency and we will communicate on all decisions that could be taken in the following days or weeks.

We want to thank you all for your understanding, patience, and support that some of you always shown us which was amazing. We will do our best to deserve it again once we get through this initial phase.

The bitsler's team
We all know that you are doing your best to overcome this hurdle and we all know that you'll be able to surpass it. It would be great if you could provide us a daily update on what's happening to calm those folks who are quite panicking right now. A simple update (just a few important words) would suffice and will be greatly appreciated by this community.  Wink
C'mon man, everyone runs signature and it's success sector for PD, FJ and more but seems Bitsler gets massive DDOS and it's not a first.
Since they decided to refund members, seems working on website and discussion on future is taken very seriously and there possibly may be sad decisions. It's just a pity to see how a trustworthy website has such a bad situation, we have to keep healthy competitiveness and such actions against Bitsler is very dark and possibly danger against other casinos.
3814  Economy / Economics / Re: Currency Ban. 91 people died in queues outside ATMs and banks on: September 05, 2018, 09:05:39 PM
It's shame, such things were happening in late 90's in some post soviet states,
Eh, OK.  I'd like to see a reference or something here for the claim.  How did they die?  Isn't this old news?

The first thing I thought of is all the violence I've read about on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving in the US.  People line up outside big box retailers, and there have been people trampled in the ensuing rushes.  People die everywhere for all sorts of reasons, and 91 or even 300+ is not a large number--tragic, yes, but it's not like a massacre (and I'd still like to hear how they died).

I've always been a fan of keeping some cash at home, locked up in a safe.  I think that's always a good idea, whether you're anticipating a financial collapse or not.  You never know when you're going to lose your debit & credit cards or when local businesses suddenly lose the ability to take electronic payments.  That happened in my neighborhood back in 2011 when we got hit by an early blizzard and the whole town was in the dark for about 4 days.  It was a nightmare, but I was able to buy some food at the local Walgreens because I had cash.

If you live in an economically unstable country, I think keeping fiat on hand is a must.  If you can afford it, that is.  It's not always easy to put money aside.
Sorry for late answer, that happened in 2016 and here is the link for reference: http://www.india.com/news/india/demonetisation-33-dead-due-to-ban-on-rs-500-and-rs-1000-1649501/
Of course we have to keep some cash at home, Personally I will never demand fully on 3rd party. These days I needed to withdraw money from ATM, however black line on card got scratched and ATM couldn't read card, didn't want to pay extra fees for paywave withdraw. Needed money and had some cash, this escaped me from embarrassing situation. This example is nothing compared to your but still in 2018, it's not a good idea to avoid having some extra cash for bad days or moments.
3815  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How many coins does Satoshi Hold? on: September 05, 2018, 08:22:30 PM
No one can tell you who is satoshi (is satoshi a man or group of developers?) but it's claimed he owns 980,000 bitcoin. How is it claimed? Well, Sergio Lerner traced first mined bitcoins, he found a single mining source and discovered someone mined 19,600 block but never sold/move any of them. Who would do this and trust bitcoin so far? Logically this person can only be Satoshi.

3818  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How good of a business is the "Crypto Casino" business? on: September 04, 2018, 08:34:13 PM
There is a very high competition in casino business but not so high in crypto casino. But we can proudly say that there are major players which are so competitive that it's very hard to beat them. All you need when you enter in market is Great template, great support and amazing promotions. This last one plays a huge role to attract customers. When others play regularly on top website and then see you offer something exciting and attractive, why not to play on your website? And when I play, as time goes, if I like your website, I won't only play for the sake of promotions but I'll continue playing because I like it, it attracts me and gives me comfort during my gambling.
P.S Don't buy any script, hire devs and keep team.
3819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FreeCash - the first casino that has a winners-only policy! on: September 04, 2018, 07:02:23 PM
I really like the idea but at the same time, didn't like the mining part (partly):
- In a way, you're encouraging users to mine using their cell phone devices (regardless of the fact that they can choose its rate, it's not safe [especially if you have a Samsung device Wink]).
It's dangerous especially if you have samsung galaxy note 7.
OP anyone can mine and directly send on any gambling website's wallet, so what's difference? Being in your pool?
What you promise people may sound well for them who are looking for a ways to become rich in seconds or by gambling but finally, you create this to make yourself rich and remember that  people are poor because other people are rich.
3820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: It's time to sell the old GPU ? on: September 04, 2018, 03:49:20 PM
I still wouldn't sell them, there is a massive talk about GPU rentals for mining and it's related ICOs. And everyone knows rx 580 and etc are great for mining, so who will buy 24/7 used GPUs ? Personally I wouldn't, prefer to pay more and get more (You get what you pay for, not always but usually).
Also don't forget that you can mine not only ether but other coins too, for this reason I would keep Nvidia cards and maybe sell RX series, you know there are already ASIC miners for ethereum.
