Ah, doesn't 0-0 bring you back to the "good old days"? Lazio at least I thought should have scored, but maybe a starring lineup of Salernitana, Udinese and Torino shouldn't surprise me, neither should 11 yellows and 1 red, huh?
No one in the pool figured that would happen for either game too, is the only silver lining. GG guys.

Not your day so far and Conte was on touchline with players. Not sure how it works with manager bans, did he even got red card in last game? I sow the incident but did not see if they got carded after that.
First game on my ticket passed with this hard fought Spurs victory, 5 more to go today. Now it becomes time for some both to score games.
It looks like they both got red cards after the skirmish at the end of the game. But the punishment in the form of a ban was imposed later after the consideration of the case by the football association of England. It is interesting that Tuchel is found to be the main culprit and will pay a fine of 35 thousand pounds, and Conte only 15 thousand pounds. I don't know if this was the reason, but today's game turned out to be unexpectedly difficult for Tottenham. Yeah cause apparently Tuchel was the one who clenched at Conte's hand when they "shook"... not that I paid much attention. They both got red carded, that's what the reports I remember reading said, so assumed they'd both be banned, so I guess I don't know the rules so much, if Conte was with the players. Shouldn't have assumed. BTW I was toying with Werder Bremen, but decided against it only because 8/1 odds didn't come. Shame!

Except for Rodrigo, these are all guys who haven't actually hit gear yet (yes, not even Salah).
Lol. I had Kane but I changed my mind before confirming my picks to Son... No goal for him, just hit the wood work. :/ And I think the match should've been 2 - 0 for three points for an exact prediction in our pool. For the rest of my picks this weekend, they are Doucoure, Mitrovic, Zaha, Vardy, Sterling and Salah. I'm just playing it by ear as I really have no idea. Will prolly have a clearer picture of what's going on in the league by match day 6. Yeah, ouch. I honestly though it would be time for some of them -- Toney did score, but Vardy, Son not, Coutinho apparently not preferred, so I'm already well out of this edition. Trying to catch the last bits of Arsenal game, I see Odegaard's got a brace. Relegation favs Bournemouth, huh.

Damn me @boltz! I was eyeing Bremen to win today, but waited for odds to go to 8/1, thinking it wasn't great value below that... and then they stage a comeback win from 2-0 down at 89th minute... who on earth saw that coming?! Bet you odds were at least 100/1... missed opportunity doesn't get better defined than this. Sorry, BVB, you're doomed...

Wonder if any of these companies were involved in all these so-called new industrial zones geared towards mining/blockchain/crypto that many crypto media were talking up after the last ATH. Oblast this and oblast that supposedly putting up new nuclear energy with come-hither eyes to mining companies. Always wondered what happened to them. Even google's not showing me the results I remember used to propagate every coin news site.

@KTChampions indeed, if I weren't Liverpool-biased, I'd be putting United down all day any day for odds above 5/1 in the EPL. God knows I suckered myself into Manchester derbies (though I do remember a sweet 10/1 inspired win). They have never been this bad though... in my lifetime anyway. Might actually put a dollar on them for relegation if they lose heh.
@toma Yeah I'm doing a BB for sure!

^ Yeah, check out p2p, there are many others and I believe even on non-Bitcoin platforms there are wider options (but not deep liquidity). Simple guy that I am, I see Spurs could have a tiny chance of losing their way without Conte on the touchline? Who knows? Game in 30. 100 units at Sportsbet.io on Wolves to WIN vs Spurs @8.70. Other odds: 8.10 Units advantage: 60 Running advantage after 6 bets: +330 (+60) All-time cumulative: +83,454 Running units after 5 bets (2W|3L): +1,275 (-100)

I think this is the third season right? I only saw like 2 winners in all 3 seasons, that is like realizing how hard it is. The reward is that huge accordingly though, 10k dollars is not a small reward, it's huge and that is why it's normal for that few winners as well.
Fourth season. I remember when prizes were paid out in 100s of mBTC back when Bitcoin wasn't so crazy high in the first season. Managed to take some great wins too on freebet parlays in UCL. Didn't get much second season. Last season someone won $10,000 for 7 picks in the very first Match Day. My picks (yes, guys I finally am in): Son, DCL, Toney, Coutinho, Vardy, Rodrigo, Salah. Except for Rodrigo, these are all guys who haven't actually hit gear yet (yes, not even Salah).

Is Trofo going to make an appearance this weekend or Monday? I think I might finally be able to come into chat, didn't think I'd say it but I actually miss you guys ha!
Southampton and Arsenal play tonight, so my first games look fun already. Don't forget to look out for the specials later, am sure there's something nice for the partner teams!

Liverpool over 1.6 to beat United, value odds for me, so I placed something a bit silly, might even top it up on Monday itself.
Surely they can't NOT win for 3 games in a row, but surely United would say they can't lose 3 opening games in a row... something has to give. Football drama is just so wonderful isn't it guys?
Ronaldo, Sancho, Varane, Casemiro now... if that doesn't strike fear into our hearts, what will? Like Welsh says, he's brought in to stabilise the ship, much in sync with every buy thus far. But the ship's missing a rudder, don't matter how many great sailors you put on it.
Long live Glazers =D

^ Only bad news if we don't retain levels + volume, and test 20k (which looks to be the case right now) before Monday. But that's only bad news for the short term. It's been some legs up on recovery and was bound to have some profittaking, which is my feeling about this dip. I know Fed numbers have been blamed but I thought that had all been priced in anyway -- and Fed actually said we're likely to see hard rate hikes by end of year, so don't think that's what tipped the tumble.

That said, I'd be really confident of a terrific bounce up if we do touch 1000!
Bouncing up wont be a guarantee because after seeing 69k and dropped on $1k then it would really be showing off different story where it cant really be avoided that you would be thinking that this might be the end of bitcoin since it is really just too low if we do consider on whats the ATH and it do ends up on dropping that low which even experienced or old timers of this market will really panic if this time happens. Some might be still considering on buying up on these prices since its pretty cheap but as long the price wont really go to zero then there's always the probability of recovery or huge pump ups and this is where those buyers been hoping for for it to happen. Yeah I know there are no guarantees -- that's one of the literal guarantees of crypto markets (or any other type of speculative activity really!). I'd just be really confident, in a space where my confidence is rarely peaked ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Zero is as likely to me as $1 million, so yeah, I'd definitely take my chances.

I had Benfica ML, so it went well for my multi but I must admit I was quite scared for my bet in first half between the goals from Benfica, Kiev had some excellent chances, few were saved by the keeper and few passed very close to posts. Should have scored at least one goal.
So many pools this season, really curious how much I'll manage to get from them. I believe excel sheet is needed this time around to track all of them + all the free bets we can get.
Ah, so Kiev were a bit unlucky huh. Seems like a good bet again away if they play the same? Odds should be even higher and they have to score 2 goals so BTTS anyway is something good for that tie next week. Based on my performance right now, in prize spots for 2 pools but not the one I'd like to be in (EPL heh heh), but way too early to judge anything... I think you're right about needing to track, although I foresee myself getting incredibly busy this season I may have to "abandon" some of the pools along the way (which is really bad as I hate throwing away like that). @logfiles welcome and glad someone convinced you! How did you miss pools, you been away? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Cool that you think and do the way you do, less cool you're confident anyone buying now will see "big profit very soon". We're barely a year out from ATH, and next ATHs don't tend to come along so soon after the previous. I know, I know, past history nothing to do with future performance, but given the present conditions all around the world, would take something beyond optimism to expect "big profit very soon".
It... isn't that simple.
What is simple? Bitcoin a good buy for the long term.

^ Nope, you weren't alone. I put a small bet against Benfica myself... that didn't turn out well. Was really expecting Kyiv to at least score but I suppose I overestimated their patriotism (if that's what I can call it). On a semi-related note, was also surprised to learn Zivchenko had switched teams...
Anyway. Just a daily reminder to please spread the word on this pool, and that there are 2 free slots to claim, for anyone who can't make the payment on time!

Almost back to normal service here, just need recovery but hope to watch my first few matches this weekend... seems like I missed some amazing football from Betis, amazing skill to kill the ball landing from so high with sneakers (hint: it wasn't even from a player haha). How's everyone doing? And don't look at the pool table, still way too soon haha!

Won't lie, will be feeling not-so-mild panic. But I've held on when BTC dropped below $4k and I do remember feeling pretty panicky, but that didn't last long. Of course, that was "only" a 80% dip from ATH... would be a different feeling holding at $1k after seeing $67k!
That said, I'd be really confident of a terrific bounce up if we do touch 1000!

The Water Project has, indeed, received a lot of Bitcoin support (donations). First came across it when interviewing the Pineapple Fund back in 2017, the anon founder donated $1 million (65+ BTC at the time) -- will have to refer to Water Project themselves to see which exact fund made that particular water pump installation. Nice to see it still has support 5 years down the line =)
