3801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, true deletable blockchain [WHITEPAPER V2] on: June 19, 2017, 03:55:07 PM
Polo PASC wallet is currently disabled. That's why recent deposits are not showing yet. Once the wallet is back online and synced, the deposits should show. For those like me missing withdrawals from almost 2 weeks ago, hopefully they're fixing it now.

So should we temporarily stop sending deposits until it's enabled, or will deposits still make it through but just won't show up until it's enabled?

so far polo pasc depo function is enabled so u may send pasc to polo.

not true.

i've made a deposit just few hours ago and it's already pending on polo.

I sent about 15 hours ago 2 transactions sent to Poloniex and none has arrived!
Are there problems again? Should I still wait or report to the support?

did u set the right payload?

yes i set. here the OpHash:

BE9C0100AF5B0100170000003046433942353639313435373431324237334544

report to the support cause we can't help from the polo's side.

I am ready to listen to your opinion and even to agree with you, but do you have arguments ? What makes you say this coin is a scam?

It seems this coin finished their developments!  - Incorrect. V2 release is imminent and the team has a new dev on for V3. See the V2 whitepaper's last page for road map. https://github.com/PascalCoin/PascalCoin/blob/master/PascalCoinWhitePaperV2.pdf

And there are a lot of problems with wallets and etc. - China has a problem with syncing, but I myself never had a problem and I've been running it for 5 months.

Market is dead on this coin!  - People are learning about this coin more and more every day. The number of users and accounts sold at pascwallet.com has been increasing.

Also there is a high risk to be delisted from polo in few weeks! - This is a risk for all coins. No one knows what polo might do.

ok, soon we will see who was right!

extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

and ur words are empty and unsubstantiated.

so either bring arguments or be silent and don't disgrace urself.

if there are some problems with wallet starting at this time → just delete all files inside the data folder C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\PascalCoin\Data (Win10) and start wallet again.
3808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, true deletable blockchain [WHITEPAPER V2] on: June 18, 2017, 10:45:02 AM
Hi  Wink

1- Do you know how many PASCs are created on average each day?

2- Do you think PASC is a sleeping giant that solves many problems related to blockchain saturation and transactions time and fees? (Bitcoin problem)

3- Does anyone know how many transactions can be made each day?

4- How do the exchanges manage to have wallets/accounts for people who buy PASC via their platform? Do they buy accounts/wallets too? This is a limitation for the number of potential buyers in the markets?

Thank you all  Wink

1.

2. quite possible.

3. over 1000 TPS per one block.

4. they need at least 1 account, all depo/withdrawals are divided via payloads.
3809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, true deletable blockchain [WHITEPAPER V2] on: June 17, 2017, 10:21:41 PM
Question for the developer or anyone else.. 1. what do the last 2 digits in an account number signify? 2. Can you have accounts where the first digits are the same but only the last ones are different? Example...

291366-37
291366-38

If not, what purpose do those last 2 numbers serve?

I stumbled upon an account where the first digits are my zip code which was pretty sweet and I got it cheap.. I have no desire at this point for any other account numbers... though I don't off hand remember what the last 2 numbers of the account are.

1. checksum.

2. no.
3810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, true deletable blockchain [WHITEPAPER V2] on: June 17, 2017, 07:36:32 PM
Currently my coins are still on the exchange, but I'd like to put them in a wallet. On pascalcoin.org I read that in order to receive coins I need an account that needs to be generated. When I download the PascalCoinWallet however, I can generate a private/public key. From pascalcoin.org I think I cannot use this pair. What am I missing?

Edit: So when I start mining, I get 5 accounts whenever I find a block, so they are fundamentally different in comparison to the private/public key pair. Are these accounts linked to the private/public key under which I mine them? So I can send funds to one of these 5 accounts?

Edit 2: The blockchain is up to date now, but I cannot seem to mine (which I suppose should be possible from the "Pascal Coin Wallet JSON-RPC Miner & Explorer" as I cannot find the PascalMiner0.2 software anywhere. I do notice that I have no clients. Is this the problem?

u should mine inside the pool that gives u an account for every mined 20 pasc.

solo mining is pointless.

Awesome, appreciate it!

Edit: I've bought myself an account on the marketplace. I guess one of the following two is theoretically sufficient to store my coins, right?

1. Safe the WalletKeys.dat file
2. Export the private key whom's corresponding public key is connected to the account

right.

Ok, so i had a good look at the wallet, what a letdown. Let me tell you. It was the most shitty, chaotic and crappy mess of a wallet I have ever seen. Good look getting that garbage out to the common man in the street.
 Shocked Shocked Shocked

so u suck at the wallets.

just get lost with ur delusions.
3814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I sent ETH to ETC address. Solved on: June 14, 2017, 11:04:03 PM
hello everyone.

i sent eht to the etc address...

it seemed that the problem wouldn't be solved, but there was a solution.

all u need is the key/pass to ur etc address (with 0 balance).

if u need such kind of help → let me know and we'll try to solve the problem.

Announcement

PascalCoin V2 will be released next week along with a revised white-paper. The absolute latest release time will be Jun 23 Friday, but could be anytime from Tuesday the 20th. Features now include:

  • In-protocol account exchange: allows users to buy/sell accounts directly from the wallet
  • Account Names & Types: accounts can now register unique names much like domain-name system
  • Infinite-scaling upgrade: allows true deletable blockchain without impacting new nodes
  • Checkpointing: nodes only need to keep 100 latest blocks
  • Improved difficulty adjustment algorithm: provides more stable block times
  • Many bug-fixes and enhancements: Linux memory-leak, orphaned transaction fix, and much more

Hard-Fork activation block number will be announced on release, and be around 14 days to allow infrastructure providers time to upgrade.

We should try to buy more pascalcoin at this time as after 23rd the price will go up IMO.

i think down not up, 20k!

it's foolish to think so.

more improvements → higher the coin price.

long live the dev. Smiley

I see but how were these account numbers distributed or how are they created now ?

each block creates 5 accounts.

pool gives u an account for every mined 20 pasc.

u may buy an account at pasa market.

Hey guys, I'm new to this, last time I saw pascalcoin there was a problem with wallet addresses, it wasn't free and infinite like in all other wallet clients meaning..you had to buy an address for btc ? I remember something like that. Is this still happening now ? Also, how was the initial distribution made ? fully PoW or something else ?

In most cryptos, the address is a hashed public key.  In PascalCoin, the public key is not the address, but rather the public key is attached to an account number in the blockchain.

The issuance is PoW with the same inflation curve as Bitcoin.

1. How do you mine account numbers? 2. The sites I've seen sells account for 50++ PASC, how is that 1$? that's like 50$ now for the ability to have an address to store pasc ?

1. pasc.nanopool.org/help

2. take a look at pascwallet.com

u should read the whitepaper first before asking such questions.

there are no problems with accounts, cause u can buy an account for $ 1.

u'll understand the reason for the limited number of accounts after you read the whitepaper.

I like this project because this is the only project which is using pascal language.V 2  looks better and good I hope it will take pascal coin to the next stage.

anyway, it's not the reason of success. Smiley

And how to buy an address actually? Sombody sent me the website but I had to pay in PASC, and I can't buy PASC without an address..

You can buy PASC on an exchange and hold in their account with your payload and send to the account buying site from the exchange.
Oh jeez, am I stupid.
Gonna do that today, thanks!

What exchange do you recommend guys?

try polo.
