3821  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Silver Wallets a new kind of physical storage for your bitcoin on: April 30, 2014, 04:37:29 AM
I can't afford it at this time, but I do think this would make a beautiful gift for someone you know who's into bitcoins.  Oh, and there's also the fact that I'm the only one I know who's into bitcoins... Sad
3822  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Bitcoin Keychains available at CryptoMemorabilia.com on: April 30, 2014, 04:34:02 AM
Agree, a nice looking keychain.  If I may ask, what's the material?  And where is this manufactured?  (also, you didn't mention the price)
3823  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.01 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE on: April 30, 2014, 04:28:15 AM
Is this still active? Smiley
Wouldn't bother, 0.01 per week might be one of the worst offers on this forum atm.
Yes now OP do some work and increase the pays then hope some peoples came and work for this campaign

It was quite convenient with the auto-payouts and the lack of requirement for fresh posts, however yes, the pay-rates at other campaigns were too hard to beat.  Nonetheless, I have nothing bad to say about bitmixer.io.  As far as my dealing with them, it was straight-ahead and honest.
3824  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinAverage.com - bitcoin price index on: April 30, 2014, 04:25:32 AM
I get a redirect-loop warning (in google chrome) on the charts page as of early this morning (just now, 27th) when clicking either "Charts" link or the small chart on the main page, when GBP selected and shown as the currency. Not used the site for several days but I normally use the charts.

As above thankyou for pointing this out, my error!
As for the charts, we never set out to be a charting site, the API was always our focus. However, we would like to improve them a little. We don't have any intention of developing something like bitcoinwisdom, but what small/basic features are we missing that you would appreciate?

Like I already said, a log. scale of the charts. This would be the ONLY chart in the web
that can tell the WHOLE price story of the Bitcoin (2010-now). Can't wait to see it!!!
https://bitcoinaverage.com/charts.htm#USD-averages-all

Yes! I'd like to see that log scale too, if it looks like a straight diagonal line, we are in-the-money!  Smiley
3825  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Replace bitcoin addresses with friendly names on: April 30, 2014, 04:24:21 AM
It's neat... Like personal Bitcoin DNS. Very neat idea.

So when the op got 'price.bitwhatever.com' did he also get 'spend.bitwhatever.com'.  That is, does this service respect the hierarchy or is it just string hashing the pseudo-urls.

Also, I'd like to know if OP is an owner or intersted party in these services.

Price is the owner / founder https://price.bitcoinwallet.com

Aha, this explains it a bit.  I didn't even realize that they were all subdomains of bitcoinwallet.com.  Given the second post, I thought any domain was up for grabs and this guy just happened to be using bitcoinwallet.com (thus my 'bitwhatever.com' example).  Pardonez-moi.  I think I see what's going on here now.
3826  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for beta testers on: April 30, 2014, 12:47:56 AM
Would anyone actually download and install a binary on windows without looking through the source first?  I'm only using GNU/Linux these days because of all the security issues on a windows machine (ok, for some other reasons too).  Still, it's hard to believe the op asks for people with C# skills and then says, here' install this binary (or did I miss something?).
3827  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CoinRPG! A Bitcoin RPG Game! on: April 30, 2014, 12:46:01 AM
The game looks very crisp, to be honest, and awesome. I do believe Unity 3D games which are played via the browser are automatically Sandboxed by the Unity Webplayer, as well, so it should be safe.

EDIT: We are now mirroring CoinRPG on our website! http://freebitcoins.pw/CoinRPG/

May I ask how you will give away 0.001 BTC to each person, however? No BTC address is provided, so I guess you ask for them to PM you on the forums?

Thanks for Supporting CoinRPG! = )

Giveway of 0.001 BTC is easy! We are using Coinbase, which has a Send BTC via Email Option. Basically you will get an invitation email to signup for a Coinbase Wallet that includes the 0.001 BTC, but you can easily Transfer the BTC from Coinbase to your Preferred Wallet of coarse. This makes things much easier for Gamers that are new to Bitcoin and don't have Bitcoin Wallets, also much easier for use because we don't need to store Bitcoin Wallets Address in our Database. Instead just send a Coinbase Wallet invite with BTC included to the Registered Email assigned to the Top 8 Winning Player.

However, I think it makes things harder for folks that don't have a coinbase wallet and don't want to give their email address to coinbase.  Just my opinion.

AWESOME COIN!! I'VE ALREADY STARTED MINING Smiley

lol, gotta be an alt account of the OP.  it's hard to believe that someone on this forum would have already been called 'bunnycoinluver'.  pretty cute coin but i don't think i'm into it.

New one from luckybit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=586817.0

Minimum of 50 posts:
Maximum of 15 hero/senior members @ 0.1 each!!
Maximum of 40 full members/members @ 0.05 each!!

The user has paid out on his previous sig campaigns.
Its strange OP is running a signature campaign but he is personally Marketing for PD  Wink

It is a bit weird, luckybit doesn't seem to care

The 2casinos are very different but they are still competitors

Yah, good on lb not to refuse to work with him just cos he's obviously got a deal with someone else.  I think this is honorable.  However, if I was LB, maybe I'd try to make an offer he couldn't refuse.
3831  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: April 30, 2014, 12:34:37 AM
Fast cashouts my ass. It's all manual processing. I enjoy the experience and the popularity of the site but the 12 hour cashouts really put a bad taste in my mouth.  I'd never go to a casino if I knew the payout would be anything over 3 minutes.

Good site, fun to play, just bad cashout speeds...

Well, most people prefer manual cashouts that take 12hours (most of the time more like 2-3 hours) compared to other shitty casinos that get hacked because of automated processes!

This is a good point.  I had griped (to myself, mainly) about slow cashouts from seals in the past.  I didn't realize you guys were doing it manually.  This not only explains the delay it gives the rationale (a pretty strong one IMHO).
3832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: THE INVESTOR'S CRYPTO | Cryptogenic Bullion | CGB on: April 29, 2014, 05:31:10 PM
By the way, is there a comprehensive list of cryptocurrency exchanges listed anywhere?  I'd love to take a look at it.  If it were sorted by volume or some other metric, even better.

Because every exchange likes to trade DOGE, that's a good guide to find. And sorted by volume too.
http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/#jump-doge-btc  Wink

Here's another on their new site, but not all trade much altcoins:
http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/markets/info

Nice man, thanks for the links.

On mining, I did some mining at cgb.minar.cc but the site is currently having problems processing payments, so I'm owed for what I figure is close to 1cgb but I'm waiting on admin to figure it out.  The web interface is currently in 'maintainance mode', which is probably a good sign, idk.
3833  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] Method to get ~0.04 BTC every day. on: April 29, 2014, 05:29:18 PM
my guess is using coinurl along with some ad promotion in a paid to click sites

btw coinurl is a nice way to make some extra if used in a right way  Wink

only thing, i don't know if they pay (haven't reached the payout limit yet)

Coinurl is paying pretty low, and I doubt you can get 0.04 btc a day with it...

This is a problem with CoinURL ...they pay pretty low and very few people have reached their threshold since Feb 2014. Should be avoided...

Getting 0.04/day from CoinURL with 0.001/30min is pretty difficult.

My guess is that secret takes your money then sends you some marketing materials about investing and whatnot.  Again, if this were a real 'secret' to free money, why sell it (and risk those people also selling it and risk it not working anymore)?  IMHO, logic says that this is a scam.
3834  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [Promo] Bitcointalk Forum Accounts for Sale - Not Hacked on: April 29, 2014, 05:26:41 PM
Ok, so I understand that your newbie accounts had some market value for the temporary period where no new users could register, but what's the deal currently?  I'm not interested in buying an account (which I can make for free) but is there anyone who is?  I'm pretty confused.
3835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Cold Storage Question before I jump in! on: April 29, 2014, 05:19:21 PM
There are a few places and threads here:

1. using dice
2. using camera pointed at the sky
3. using random input from keyboard

As for the camera part, just use a brand new memory card, and take videos and pictures as you walk all over town of anything in any angle.

By the end of the day, you have thousands. Pick a few dozen as input, then hash the entire file to get your new "random" number.

There's also another one, which is quite a good idea, which involves recording random sounds in the street and then hashing it.

I suppose that any sort of media file hashed would be a relatively good source of random bits, but I'm not an expert in this topic.  If it were me, I'd be sure to either use a whole file or some portion of it which is definitely not a header (first bytes of many filetypes are going to be the same for every file of that type).
3836  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: April 29, 2014, 05:17:06 PM
I don't think that Ritz does this, but it would be convenient and helpful for everyone asking about their rank and position in the campaign: some other campaigns publish a publically-viewable spreadsheet or table showing the details of name, rank, addy, etc for everyone in the campaign.  That way you can check that everything's looking right for yourself without bothering the campaign leader.
3837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where can i get $2 worth of btc via paypal? on: April 29, 2014, 05:13:54 PM
you can use http://www.bitcoininsanity.com/ for this ...

I looked at the site, and it's not clear how they avoid being ripped off with charge-backs.
Any idea how they actually control/avoid fraud?

They're limiting people to like 0.046 BTC / day for $25, which is actually like $20 worth of BTC..

So basically they're counting on the fact that there's not many ppl who are going to do chargeback fraud to make 20 bucks.

Interesting service, but 25% markup ? Dang!

I guess the high markup also relates to the risk of chargeback fraud they they're incurring.  I still haven't bought btc via credit card or paypal so it's interesting to me to hear about the state-of-affairs related to those kinds of purchases.  For btc to really thrive, at some point it will have to be easy for the common (wo)man to switch back and forth from fiat even for small amounts.

Have you guys put out an official android widget yet?  I never did get around to writing my own.  I find your api quite useful.
3839  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] Method to get ~0.04 BTC every day. on: April 29, 2014, 03:58:34 AM
I recently discovered an easy way to get between 0.03 and 0.06 BTC every day without any risks.

You probably will not believe me and call this bullshit (I would do the same), but it's really working. I already made over 0.20 BTC since 3 days, all you need is 1x 0.001 BTC and about 30 minutes per day. I'm not talking about hacking or phishing, this way is absolutely legal (but not really appreciated).

The price for this method is 0.33 BTC and it will be sold only 3 times. You'll get a completely walkthrough with screenshots and free support if you have any questions. And now the best: Escrow with a reputable member is possible!

A SHA256 hash for later purpose: 1cae2ff587f4ee7728eb7421ec9d91a8caa44c3038857c0f17c6e707223aa308

What do u mean by all you need is 1x 0.001 BTC and about 30 minutes per day ? Why u wrote 1x 0.001 instead of simple 0.001 ?

My query is not yet addressed. Looks like secret is secretly doing something Wink
Something secret, to be more precise Smiley

Seems to me like you're being more concise, but equally precise.  ....I hope that was funny Smiley  (but true)
3840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: THE INVESTOR'S CRYPTO | Cryptogenic Bullion | CGB on: April 29, 2014, 03:57:06 AM
Thanks, I'll double check on cryptsy, I cant recall which exchange I looked at recently where there was literally no volume.

Probably Allcrypt.

or Bittrex

Don't yet have an account on bittrex, I'll be sure to check it out though.

By the way, is there a comprehensive list of cryptocurrency exchanges listed anywhere?  I'd love to take a look at it.  If it were sorted by volume or some other metric, even better.
