Can I replace this user? That user wasn't enrolled in the campaign. Yes, you are right, I see he was on the GH paid spots. Thanks anyway ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

We have already been blackmailed. We will never pay any ransom to a DDoS though. We know the downtime is very inconvenient especially to those with coins in the site and those waiting on withdrawals. Including wang_yan and nothingnew
We have been working closely with the service provider and just got an update. Unfortunately they have told me it will be another 12+ hours while they set up the proper protections, things are happening slower than I hoped. I hope everyone understands I am just as eager to get the service back online as you are. I will keep everyone updated as soon as I receive new information.
Thanks for the update ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Is there a way to see how many CLAMS one is elligble to without doing the privkey stunt?
Ya come to the Just-dice troll box and type: If you don't want to trust the client you can trust dooglus, but you should move the coins off before getting clams (better safe than sorry!!!!) Dooglus doesn't store the info anyways, but still cover your ass. An important note to users:
The majority of wallets contain what are know as "change" addresses. These are not created by the user, and most do not even know they exist. In order to claim the CLAMS associated with these addresses it is important that users download the client and utilize the File->Import mechanism. One can also run listaddressgroupings on their client ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

So why was this reopened with CLAM? Why wasn't the reopening announced? Why add only CLAM and not BTC?
BTC is able to be sold for USD directly, unlike CLAM. So that was the issue with BTC? That it could, eventually, be sold for USD? (If that was the issue, JD could have opened with many other coins...)

So basically I have to give up my private keys in order to use CLAM? I haven't quite understood that yet.
Just to be sure you understand. You do NOT have to give up your private keys to USE clams. It's just a regular old alt coin as far as usage goes. You DO have to provide your private keys in order to DIG any clams. This is the processes you use to claim your clams from the initial distribution. Yes, I understood that. The problems remains: private keys have to be used.

You have to import your private key (that held coins at the time of the snapshot) into the CLAMs wallet. I haven't done this yet, but from what I understand it should be safe, however, best practice would be to transfer your btc/ltc/doge to a new wallet, and then you can import your private keys with no fear of anything fishy (clammy?) going on, since all your coins are in a different wallet. It should be safe, how? I'm not doubting CLAM. probably someone already probed their code and found nothing malicious... But having to give your private keys isn't really a good thing. Nevertheless, I'll try this with old addresses when my wallet finishes syncing

Testing keyconv... everything goes good until I try to generate the final address with the privkey+part privkey... it just says unrecognized key format. Any workarounds?
The way it's setup is that it only combines WIF key's. Not the ECSDA private key's. Ok, thank you, I think I've got it working! Awesome job, very handy tool ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Just added and testing first mod for the next release, let's you just check a box for return change, so you do not have go copy and paste a address for custom change address. --o Very handy ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
