I would say that the two Chelsea wins have been lucky. because, as far as my observation. the system that Potter implemented, did not go according to what he implemented. seriously, this is the problem. plus, the front line players they have are barren in terms of scoring goals. Chelsea's victory over Dortmund was a fortune, especially the second goal that Chelsea created. Kai Harvertz was only able to score goals through penalty kicks. Potter should have given more opportunities to other strikers, like Auba for example and that is the problem for Chelsea's front line. unfortunately, Auba was not included by Potter in the list of teams playing in the Champions League.
next Chelsea will visit Leicester headquarters, we will see how Chelsea's consistency is in the next match. however, don't get your hopes up if Chelsea will win the game with a landslide score.
Not really luck, but the hard fight was from every single Chelsea player on the pitch yesterday night. In my opinion, this is a fairly even pairing, with almost equal chances of victory for each team. Tottenham are playing at home in their own stadium, but Milan have the advantage in terms of goal difference and can play on the counter-attack. I think this game will be difficult and will not decide the winner. The teams will play to a 1-1 or 0-0 draw.
If the match end in draw, it's mean Milan will qualify for the next round. Chelsea has a bloated squad right now. It's actually quite incredible that they managed to get themselves into this situation, considering that even Abramovich knew the limit. They should not be buying any more players until they sell some deadwood (and not stars who actually play well), or they are never going to get anywhere near the top 4 again.
E.g. instead of wasting money sacking managers routinely like Watford and selling academy players (because club management is only interested in cheap money), get rid of some of the fringe foreign players, especially the ones on loan.

I had this thought because Liverpool does not give Farmimo enough playing time, despite the fact that he always gives an outstanding performance whenever he is on the peach.
Klopp didn't even need him anymore. That was the main reason why firmino has chosen to leave from the club rather than stay even longer in liverpool. As far as i know that if klopp was also trying to held a new talk with him about extending his contract but since firmino knows that if his place already gone in the club caused by it has been taken by the new player and then firmino has no choice other than leaving from the club or always sitting on the bench. that's very sad for firmino to leave from his favorite club. Whenever you see Farmimo play, you see greatness because he is a world-class striker who has so many records in football history; therefore, him working out as a free agent is a great idea that will actually help his football career.
Firmino has been making more than one hundred goals with liverpool since he was starting his career in liverpool. I hope that if firmino will be getting a good club that can give him a regular time to play. Firmino is still wanna playing in the professional football club. Imo, playing at home may not give a difference. It may only boost the mentality of liverpool caused by it got more supporters to support it. Seeing the result from last year when MU got beaten by liverpool 5-0 as the final score was making bookies feel so bad about MU but since MU is slowly climbing to what it must be and i do believe if liverpool may not perform the same like when liverpool was destroying MU last year. We do know how nunez and gakpo have not found its best performance.
MU is having rashford as a very talented winger and at the same time, almost all of the problems in the team are already solved. MU will be enjoying the game compared with the previous match when MU had many problems that have not solved.

I would not go to Manchester United if I was Osimhen. That can put a lot of unnecessary pressure on him. Manchester United need a striker that is not only a good goal scorer but also technical. A striker that can drop deep to the midfield when the game is hard and support his teammates. Osimhen is kind of like a traditional top striker, just like Halland. Those kind of players require special kind of management before they could perform well at top level. Ten Hag does not play with those kind of strikers, he loves everybody to be involved in the build up of the game. Manchester United should go all out for Harry Kane. Why do you think Victor Osimhen is unfit for Manchester United, I think he has something good to be the striker Ten Hag needs instead of Wout Weghorst. Osimhen is a player with pace and good positioning, he is one of the best so far and I think he is as good as Haaland at Manchester City. You can't be Osimhen if you reject Manchester United. You know what I mean, but every player has the desire to play for the team he wants to play the most. Manchester United are a big team, so when an offer comes in for a player like Osimhen it will be hard to turn down especially if the value is reached. Victor Oshime is not unfit for the job at Manchester United as the Central Attacking Player, There's no need for the comparison between Wout Weghorst and Victor Oshime. Wout Weghorst has been instrumental to Manchester United tactically, he doesn't score goals but then when you check his work rate for United, he's been making huge sacrifice along side Bruno Fernandez. I don't like the fact that nobody seems to see all that and give them the credit they deserve. Quite alright everybody wants a big club as United, but when was the last time a black player, do so well for them Odion Igalo did and didn't play so long. Black players are well settled at Chelsea and not Manchester United. Manchester city whom I thought was going to have an easy qualification to the next phase is giving me cold feet on their ability. The more difficult circumstance is chelsea who will have nothing to talk if successfully sent away by Borussia Dortmund. With Dortmund current form, it will be so difficult for Chelsea to turn things round.
Chelsea has had a good record in the Champions League for a long time, but their current record is nothing to be proud of and have confidence in doing well in the Champions League this season. Dortmund are in fantastic form, and I wouldn't be surprised if they knock Chelsea out of the Champions League in the second leg. I believe the Chelsea team knows what they should do; the sooner they re-strategize, the better for the entire team. Rumoured that Zidane is around London just if Graham Potter gets sacked to finalize a deal with Chelsea for thr management of the club, he can't handle a team like Chelsea but what would be best would be Paris St Germans. They had a win today but can they also do same against Borrussia Dortmund of Germany, they might hold them down during the first half but they're to pray same luck they have against Leeds United stay with them still next week during the champions league. I have a big beef with Liverpool for letting Sadio Mane go, if they've foresight, they'd have seen the potential Sadio Mane has and work rate he brings at a longer-term to Liverpool than, Chamberlain, Firmino and Curtis Jones. These are players they offered contract but refused the upgrade of his salary, that was disappointing. They don't know what they've got till it's gone, now thru miss him so damn bad. They've finally come to realize that Mo Salah wasn't them best player but Sadio Mane. Milan have made a really nice level of progress recently. This started making me doubt Tottenham's making a comeback and eliminating them truthfully.
Because Milan don't seem weak at defending anymore. Especially their performance against Atalanta in the Serie A was mesmerizing. They didn't let their opponent have any proper chance to score. They need to keep the same motivation against Tottenham in the rematch. Tottenham have also made improvement in their recent matches actually. They are also effective in the attacking line as much as Milan these days. I will be expecting an attacking football from both sides in the second leg. Kane can play a key role for the victory in the name of his team here but let's see.
Tottenham Hotspur ?  Tottenham Hotspur is a God damn side that couldn't defeat a small side they are far better than during the FA Cup clash midweek against Sheffield United. Missing the chance of moving and proceeding to the next level by a single goal. Arsenal will face Sporting in this round of 16, and I think they will be able to advance to the next round by beating Sporting. I'm not trying to put Sporting in a weak team, but with what Arsenal can show this season Arsenal are more convincing than Sporting. Arteta definitely realizes they are under a lot of pressure in the Premier League, so it is likely that Arteta will be able to maximize in the 2 competitions they are currently participating in.
It's true that Arsenal are much better than Sporting, in their respective leagues they have different standings but indeed Arsenal must remain vigilant even though their chances of winning are very big, but Sporting is not a weak club because they were often in the highest UCL competition before this season they must go down to the European league competition. The two coaches Mikel Arteta and Ruben Amorim will definitely provide the best strategy for their players to get maximum results in the round of 16 match in the European league later. Arsenal will have to take the heat to Bournemouth inorder to make sure they win the game as fast as they can, Bournemouth would want to also attack because they'll want to leave the relegation zone. Xavi has learned from the defeat of Manchester United and Almeria, defense has been the priority of Xavi due to conceding three goals in his last two matches. I hear rumors about Erik Ten Hag wanting to buy Harry Cane(or Victor Osimhen) as a central striker and Franky De Jong and/or Jude Bellingham in the midfield. Bellingham, on the other hand, wants to join Real Madrid. The are offers to the Glaser family coming from different sides and I guess that Manchester United will have a new owner by the summer of 2023. This means a bigger budget and more money for new players.
Perhaps United will return to the "sir Alex" era of competing for the Premier League and the Champions League cups every year.
I also hear rumors about Arsenal wanting to buy Ducan Vlahovic from Juventus. Vlahovic doesn't fit the Arsenal style. I don't know why Mikel Arteta would want to buy a heavy striker. Arsenal is doing just fine in attacking and scoring goals.
Erik Ten Hag is doing a decent job with the squad, I doubt the deal for Victor Oshime, he deserves Chelsea, that's only if they sign a top manager. ( Zidane or Enrique ). Harry Kane might be the best option but I don't want the repetition of history, especially how Van Persie had just a good season and Injury crises for the rest. In the group stage they competed with Real Sociedad and had to share the victory so they had to be in the play-off round, in the play-off round they met again with the La Liga team, Barcelona and they showed a good game and managed to get rid of Barcelona. In this round of 16 their opponent is Real Betis which is a La Liga team as well. Manchester United have good experience of how they play, so they should be able to anticipate what they are going to do in this round.
Manchester United found it difficult to beat Real Sociedad during the group stage of the Europa League Competition winning Manchester United by just a single goal at Old Trafford but Manchester United did the reverse. That said, they faced Cadiz for a friendly game and the yougins still didn't give as Ten Hag expected. Much emphasis are on Barcelona, Ten Hag gave in into Xavi Hernandez tactics during the first half, but the second half was a remarkable one I can't forget. With few minutes of having Kylian Mbappe, we had one of the most active and interesting game which saw two goals cancelled by var.

Having both Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe at least might do the trick even if Neymar Junior will be absent. The earlier th better they should not slow down this time, Bayern Munich did all they could to stop Parisans that night and it did worked. That's right. Mbappe is a player that can change the game alone. He shows that in a lot of critical games. Neymar's absence might be more tolerable than him. Having both Mbappe and Messi on the field from the start is PSG's biggest weapon. I think Arsenal mean business this season. This trophy means a lot to them. Everton thought they could shame them again for the second time. One of their challenges this season has been unable to unlock low block teams but Arsenal have done very well at exploiting those tight spaces. Everton’s game plan failed. I’m impressed with the team performance. The second half was a training session. I think the revenge was overboard, Arsenal took it personal.
Would be so stupid of Mikel Arteta to lose twice to Everton at such a crucial moment when they need every single point to win the premier league. Unlocking those space ? They've been done in some games, but the first game against Everton, they found it difficult to do so because they was very compact. I think Jorginho blending gradually into the squad, I'd rate him a 6/10 for last night. Trossad also pleased he made it to gunner's. Zinchenko is a God damn beautiful footballer. Next match MU vs Westham,  we know who being favorite after look that odds. Man United are happy right now after getting their first title this season and this trophy could be their next target, especially since the manager has so far been able to manage his squad well, and also West Ham is not a tough opponent for them, so bookmakers favoring Man United to win is natural and I also thought that they would win easily. I'd lie if GOD did not take his precious time as he created Erik Ten Hag, it's really a good time to witness this and to be a Manchester United fan. Big game, too dull and slow in the first half but the second half,as usual the substitute came in and had the turn around. I didn't see the game but, seeing Fred scoring from the bench, that's one of the most amazing and sparkling turnaround for a player. I wasn't impressed with Soton at all, first lose for the new coach, the shameful part was this was right I'm front of the home fans, this is not just a good sign for the start. I hope he shuts the critics. I don't know how Vincent Company turned into such a great coach, go check the stats of burnley and see how they've improved from the previous season, good fight till the last minute. I don't even want to talk about Tottenham Hotspur, they need to sell the club to the Qataris so they can help fund the club, Tottenham Hotspur needs quality players. |
