I checked some of my 2014 posts and I don't see it? I do think it is a huge revolution. The impact of bitcoin on the banking industry is big and it will continue to evolve. But I'm not a HOOOOOLDer. I spend and use my bitcoin currency.
I definitely point out flawed claims like "Bitcoin is a Ponzi" or "21 million is not enough BTC". But I do not think it is wise to invest in like say... an investment. 

It was some months ago. Several people left for various reasons including that they felt the foundation was not transparent enough. At least a few ended up not leaving after all.

I think I go well out of my way to tell people not to "invest"(gamble) in bitcoin. It is a payment network and that is how I use it. I don't care about moons or price. There are no promises in bitcoin, good or bad.

I'll just echo what some others have said. Use BTC and tell retailers that they could have your business also if they accepted bitcoin. I have gotten several businesses to accept bitcoin because I wanted to shop there. I hold their hand a bit and volunteer to be their first BTC sale.  It's really not hard because they have ZERO downside in accepting them. All they need to do is set up an account at BitPay or Coinbase. It's free and any sales they get from BTC earn them an extra 3% without facing any market volatility. Even the businesses I helped that were skeptical at first love bitcoin once they see how easy it is.

What would the foundation have to do with that? The only way I could see this happening is if BTC were broken and required a hard fork. In that case we might all have to move to a 2.0.

But No. There are bitcoins and scamcoins. Well, ok, litecoin has shown it's staying power.

Because your 0.02BTC was the game. Once the scammer has some money there is little incentive to do anything except go shopping. In a real ponzi you are paying out initial "investors". But why even do that?

The evil part of me wants to start a dialog with them and play along until the day I take their precious and use it to fund a crypto class for cops.  

Is it though? I would want to ask; "Who made the promises?" Was it bitcoin? Of course not, bitcoin is a computer protocol. If "Tim" believed the hype put out by completely unqualified trolls and thought it was a promise, then he has a lot to learn.  

I liked your suggestion of Angkor Wat! That may be on my list next. Like you, I don't think space is affordable. But if bitcoin goes to 10K per coin... Maybe I should buy a Virgin Galactic ticket? Sir Richard takes BTC.

Sorry OP, but if we had a way to get your coins back then we would have a way to steal your coins. It will be up to the cloud mining company to do the right thing. Unfortunately I see some red flags, including the fact that they are a cloud mining company.

Ok I found that interpretation. Man, there are a lot of ideas about Gog and Magog. I had no idea how contested it is. The Russia theory really gains traction during the cold war. There is no evidence of it other than some thought the words sounded a little like Russian place names and the references to Magog being "north".  What is not known is if it's northern Israel, Persia, the black sea region?

To further confuse things the writers and Roman editors of the Bible used Gog and or Magog for battles and events that took place over many centuries. It's really just not known what they meant. Interesting stuff.

That is not what the Bible says. The war was with Magog or Gog. Some scholars think they mean the Babylonians while most interpret it to mean Lydia (if I remember correctly).

As far as world order, I think the world is becoming less ordered over time.

It's just another example of the bitcoin economy maturing and expanding. Nothing unexpected here, although welcomed.

Your just an unfair early adopter... from last week.

I don't use BTC-E, but most exchanges work like this:

1. Set up a wallet like CORE on your computer. It will take days to sync and will take up huge space on your computer. Make sure your computer is secure, wallets are computer files and are only as safe as your computer. DONE

2. Set up an account at an exchange in your country. Use real information. Because you are mixing dollars with BTC, when something goes wrong you will have less recourse if you are deceptive. DONE

3. Fund the account. You could link it to your bank account or use a money order, it depends on the options at your exchange. It takes days to weeks to move dollars, so there will be a wait. Once the funds are credited to your exchange account you can start buying. You can set a price you will pay, or pay the asking price. WAITING

4. Withdraw BTC to your wallet after buying. Your funds are secure once you have moved them to your wallet on your computer. Online wallets and exchanges come with a small chance that the owners will abscond with your BTC. It may be worth the risk for small amounts since wallet apps are so useful for cell phones. But for any substantial amount I would advise you to store that wallet offline.  WAITING
