3821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies will be around in 10 years and why? on: March 12, 2021, 10:32:22 AM
Litecoin, Bitcoin, and possibly xrp.

Litecoin is much faster, cheaper to send, way undervalued, and will become scarce as institutions buy it up. It also is easier to evolve with a collaborating development team and foundation.

Litecoin will still be here as long as Bitcoin is on the crypto sphere. Remember that it acts as a sort of "guinea pig", as the code was fork of bitcoin.

Bitcoin, due to being the first one and recognizable, being used as a store of value as insecurity with fiat increases, etc.

Prime mover, enough said.

XRP because if it is adopted by banks, despite having billions of coins, could become a mainstream tool for banks, etc.

They have one big hurdle in their plate, the case against SEC. If they can win then probably it will grow tremendously. But if they lose, the future is uncertain.
3822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: March 12, 2021, 09:32:32 AM
Any Update when this fight be on table?

No update meaning, chances are slim that we are going to see Pacquaio vs Crawford this year.

It has been month when Manny seems telling people in news that is is crawford is the next opponent but now becomes silent again.

I doubt that it is Manny who's making tweets, probably another person on his team, maybe Gibbons is the one teasing us boxing fans that this fight will happen. But still the final say is with Manny here. If Manny insists on fighting Crawford, then definitely this fight could materialised. And I think the ball right now is with Bob Arum and most probably if there is negotiations, that $40M is out of the table, that's why the fight will not push thorough.
3823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Trending ALTs on: March 12, 2021, 08:49:19 AM
Interesting to see that ADA is not on the list of searches though. The price has spike in the last 3-6 months, reaching a new all time high if I'm not mistaken.

The rest I'm not surprised though, usually dominated by Defi, but I expect that those projects hype will die soon? It's just the nature of it, hype then gradually going down as there might be new projects in the horizon trying to compete, and the cycle continues.
3824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 12, 2021, 08:17:03 AM
Anyone heard this news?

Miami Heat's Meyers Leonard fined $50,000, suspended for week for using anti-Semitic slur.

He forgot that Miami Heat, the team that he plays is own Micky Arison, born in Tel Aviv, LMAO. This is disaster for Leonard, and with that said, I don't think he will be renewed by the team.

What's your take on the Raptors vs Hawks on tonights game? ML is too enticing not to bet on them, it's 2.x above.

Sorry mate, it's a heartbreaking lost to the Raptors, I'm sure you are disappointed seeing that last three point shot.

I agree with the Nets win, good them they beat tonight, and Kyrie providing the spark with that big game. I guess we can say that they have blend it well right now. It's either Harden and Irving really pushing hard for this team to win.
3825  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC/USD Price Analysis - $72,000 will be the first target on: March 11, 2021, 10:55:54 AM
I will not trade on these current level price of Bitcoin.
I am afraid if Bitcoin will make a double top bearish pattern from its previous all-time-high.
But on the other hand, if it will manage to break the previous all-time-high I'll be more bullish, and $70,xxx region is gonna be the next level for Bitcoin. Btw, good spot for the ascending triangle pattern, which is a bullish pattern.

I saw the price reaching $57k, but it was short lived though. It was just the first attempt, and I will assume that there will be another one by the bulls within a week and see if we can break $58,300.

The $52k resistance was broken on the second attempt, and then after that the price goes up. It could make the same pattern again, so $70k is not that far. We are still in mid-March, let's see and hope that the bullish pattern will still build and continue.
3826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: celsius going list in major ex on: March 11, 2021, 10:08:20 AM
Clickbait title, Lol, but I do agree that Celsius seem to be a good project but under the radar and didn't have the support of the community yet.

And as per their tweet, surpassing $10 billion is no joke, it takes a lot of hard work from them to project. So it is going to be interesting to see what the price movement will be in they are going to be listed on such top exchange, i.e. Binance.
3827  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN CORRECTION: PERFECT BUY TIME on: March 11, 2021, 09:41:42 AM
When there is a clear uptrend in the market, buying at any correction (no matter how big it is) should pay off very well. This can be a problem only when we make a mistake and it will not be a correction, but the beginning of a long bear market Wink

Of course, timing the correction by looking at the charts should pay off handsomely. That is if you have the expertise to do so. But for noobs, they just listen to these so called influencer and market analyst to buy and then get REKT overtime because of wrong timing.

Well if it is the beginning of long bear market, then so be it, no might not make the money you dream of. But you can still stack up those coins and wait for the next cycle to occur.  Grin
3828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Estrada vs Chocolatito WBC, WBA & Ring Magazine Unification Fight on: March 11, 2021, 09:19:26 AM
^^ Thanks for this, now we are seeing some attractive and juicy odds.

I'm all for Estrada here by decision, but I will probably chase "Draw" or bet at least two rounds for Estrada to win 11 and 12, just to make it more exciting watching the fight.

Although this fight is still 50:50 to me, been checking some analysis and predictions and most of them are divided.

The juicier odds will be on Chocolatito here.

Yes, I agree that it will be a 50:50, but you have to look at Chocolatito winning the first fight and maybe he can go back in time and perform his old and vintage self to upset the now favourite Estrada. And that is why some analysis is still divided because they know that Chocolatito might surprise us. 33 years old, but he still still fight it out.
3829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 50 Gwei Transaction on: March 10, 2021, 09:52:49 AM
Does anyone think a 50 gwei ETH fee transaction might work?

I'm not having enough in the wallet and thinking if the transaction will go through or will it get stuck.

Nah, at this point, the higher the gwei the better for your transaction to be confirmed quicker.

And obviously it will be stuck for days and you will be frustrated, so it's better to put enough ethereum on your wallet as gwei. Best of luck.
3830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 Postponed 21 on: March 10, 2021, 09:10:11 AM
By the end of the month, we maybe will have the official statement but the idea is to do the summer games with no foreign spectators

What do you think?

I think is a bad idea for them but hey their vaccine's plan is so bad, right now they vaccinated only 0.05% of the population.
This seems like a terrible idea to me, the Olympic Games are very expensive as the number of facilities that need to be built is very high due to the number of sports and athletes that go to compete, this is not like the soccer world cup in which if the country already has a decent league they could make do by building just one or two stadiums and modernize the rest, for what I have read most Olympic games from an economic standpoint are a loss and that is with spectators, if they are really thinking of going through without spectators I do not even want to imagine the size of their losses.

Japan has already build the stadium and 99% ready to go prior to the pandemic, so they have invested billions of dollars already and they need to recoup that. Perhaps not with the full capacity of spectators, but at least 50% could be a good bench mark to at least recover from the high cost of hosting an Olympic games. So they need fans definitely, Olympics games without spectators? that's unprecedented.
3831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders - May 8 on: March 10, 2021, 08:34:03 AM
Canelo Alvarez-Billy Joe Saunders Fight Officially Announced, May 8 At Site TBD

Quote
Now that Canelo Alvarez has torn through the WBC’s mandatory challenger for his 168-pound championship, he can fully focus on the first of two title unification fights he hopes to win later this year.

As expected, Matchroom Boxing announced after Alvarez’s three-round demolition of Avni Yildirim on Saturday night that he’ll battle unbeaten WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders on May 8. The site of the Alvarez-Saunders bout wasn’t announced, but promoter Eddie Hearn informed BoxingScene.com before Alvarez defeated Yildirim that Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, are the two venues under serious consideration.

OK, this is the fight that we all have been waiting for Canelo, another legit challenger in Billy Joe Saunders. BJS is solid in all area, well rounded, technically sound and I think he will give Canelo one hell of a fight here, more competitive obviously against Avni Yildirim. Canelo himself admitted that Saunders will be a difficult fight for him.

But I will still give the edge to Canelo here, probably by decision.
This is what we have been waiting for, Canelo is going for the reunification of all the tittles so he had no choice but to face the mandatory opponent he was given, it was a waste of time but at least it will serve as a warm up to the real fight, this is not going to be easy for Canelo but I see him winning this fight as long as he does not become overconfident and trains as hard as he should as I expect this fight to go all the way to the end, and with this in mind the overall physical shape of both fighters will be critical in order to decide a winner.

He has fulfilled his mandatory, beat him by quitting in his stool and then said,  I didn't break a sweat, lets make it more challenging by going on the supposedly next tougher guy in the division, a champion and that is Billy Joe Saunders.

And again, on paper, the match has some hype, Saunders is the champion and supposedly has the perfect game plan to beat Canelo. But if you inspect closely, we see that this is not a big challenge . No disrespect to Saunders, but Canelo is invincible right now and the stronger one and could unify the belts at super middle weight.
3832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 10, 2021, 08:12:46 AM
This nets team will be showing the retirement of some older stars like Lebron who will realize they can’t beat a team like this one anytime soon.

Lebron will not retire, he can still play and if his team can't make it to the finals or can't beat the Nets, he can still continue to achieve on individual success as he is breaking record in points, and assists of all time. Nets looks good on paper but until proven, I would not expect a lot though.

They've at least proven, at least at this point, second in Eastern Conference with just .5 games separating them from the top seed which is 76ers. But the big test to hurdle is the playoffs, but with Durant and Irving with playoff and championship experience, I think they can go as far as the finals and then we will see if they are going to choke or with Durant as the leader, will show poise in close out games.

So let's see we have like 20 more games for the regular season and then playoff time.
3833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if the bear market starts next month on: March 08, 2021, 05:13:14 PM
It is always possible, none can know what will happen. If the bear market starts next month and BTC starts getting down, there are some altcoins that will be affected by this movement. Maybe top altcoins like BNB and ETH can survive but l can not say the same thing about other altcoins. But l can not imagine BTC at 20k, which means BTC has lost 60% of this current price, maybe more than that. If this will happen, all altcoins will be affected, but as l mentioned top altcoins have more chance to survive than others.

The thing though is that I will say that we are still very much in the bullish phase, we haven't touch the top yet at least for bitcoin. So fundamentals say that we shouldn't panic, we might see the price going down, but it's just part of the ecosystem.

After ETH and BNB reaches it's all time high, the price suddenly drops together with bitcoin. But we are slowly gaining some traction again and this month might be slow by eventually we will see a good bounce, probably in the range of the last top price.
3834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Estrada vs Chocolatito WBC, WBA & Ring Magazine Unification Fight on: March 08, 2021, 10:58:03 AM
I rewatched the first fight a few days ago and the fight was much closer than what the scorecards suggested. Estrada fought really well at a distance but Gonzalez was able to chase him down and force him to exchange. The 12th round was an absolute war and both guys were trying to win by knockout because they knew how close it was.

It was a back and forth war, really hard to judge because the rounds are very close, except for a few that can with Estrada and then obviously on Gonzalez side. But the majority of rounds, either Estrada will start very strong, then Gonzalez coming back, or when you think that Gonzalez is winning, comes Estrada closing the round with a flurry of punches. Although it doesn't have the power to knock down Gonzalez, but even to bother and touch him up.

In that first fight Estrada had to go down a weight class but in the rematch they will be fighting two weights above at super flyweight. This should be Estrada's biggest advantage because he is naturally the bigger man.

And with that said, that's why Estrada seems to be the favourite and for sure their could be power as he will be fighting in his natural weight.
3835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it bearish season yet? on: March 07, 2021, 03:55:28 PM
Hello guys, the cryptocurrency world have witnessed an rise in fortune in the last one month or so, turning a market cap of 2 trillion USD. Now suddenly we are witnessing red candles. What's going on? Is it a massive correction or are the dreaded bears coming upon us?

Are you afraid of big crash coming due to bear season? Well there's nothing to afraid off since by now we have big whales(investors) supports bitcoin and they will never let bitcoin fall since this is how those people earn with, also there are so many bitcoin supporters has been gather which adopt bitcoin so we'll so if you find those red candles striking up meaning it's perfect time to buy and earn when market goes green again.

Amazing to see bitcoin going on green again and so is the rest of crypto market.

So there's no red candle, we are on the recovery stage again, $50k-$52k again in the next couple of days and it we get lucky and we sustained this run, we might see $57k so we are out of the bears hand. And with that said, correction is over, the usual every month of like three weeks of good phase then followed by a week of selling off/taking profits, the usual run.
3836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee charged with fraud over cryptocurrency on: March 07, 2021, 03:01:57 PM
Good riddance.

He fooled everyone during the ICO hype, made a lot of money for himself, being paid handsomely just to shill from some shit and scam projects. Now, he has to face the music, brilliant mind, genius, but borderline psychotic.

He is high profile that's why he was targeted by the US government, probably sending the message again to the would be large scale personality scammers out there that their days are going to come to an end.
3837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Services of betting on your behalf on: March 07, 2021, 12:38:40 PM
Hi everyone, I read some rumours of companies or groups offering services of betting on your behalf on matches in which the betting house got, for whatever reason, their odds wrong. A friend told me that he was successful in doubling his money, although the houses obviously close any account that looks suspicious. Do you guys know any of these services?

Yeah it sounds like betting brokers, but I don't understand what the meaning of getting the odds wrong, maybe what you meant is giving you the best odds that you can find about sport bookies. Of course it has it's pros, but I would rather place my own bets though, and there could be services that are legit but there's a possibility that some of them might be running a scam, just saying. And yes, your account can be close anytime if they deem it suspicious, just like any casinos out there.

3839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about RSK? on: March 06, 2021, 10:07:20 AM

It it not new, been in the market since 2018, but it doesn't have the traction so far.
I've been thinking of reasons why projects like this didn't gain traction and this somehow explains it. They entered the market at a wrong time and they probably didn't have the popular figure in their team that makes people stick with them.

Another possible reason is associating the project to Bitcoin blockchain. Around 2017, there were so many projects that says they are the next bitcoin or bitcoin killer which ended up as scam/dead projects. People got tired of that.

As far as I can remember, they never sell themselves as a bitcoin killer, it's a sidechain.

Nevertheless, I can't see their social presence and they seems to be quiet as compare to the rest of cryptos who's currently been pump. And maybe there are really projects that can't seems to gain the needed traction and consensus from crypto communities even though if you look at it, the project is very good and the potential is really there. Sad to say, no one is supporting it right now except maybe hard core fanboys.
3840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 06, 2021, 09:27:21 AM
To be fair, Houston has given him a lot of opportunity to win as well, getting Dwight Howard, Chris Paul (which is the closest they get) and then Westbrook.

Another reason as well is that they are competing against a prime Golden State Warriors, led by Curry and then later with Durant. So it's hard to go against a dynasty that time. Similar to the 90's when Jordan and the Bulls are dominating, a lot of good teams in the East, New York Knicks, Pacers and no matter how the management built their teams, it's hard to beat the Bulls.
But all those opportunities end up short.
Dwight in his comedian year then CP3 getting injured in WCF.
I bet they can win it if only CP3 was healthy on that moment.

Harden is like Steve Nash now on his prime (although he's really old that time) in Phoenix Suns.
Average mostly with double figures of assists and points.
He's just better since he can also gain rebounds.

There's still some pieces missing when Harden was still in Houston.

But this time it is different with the Nets, again, he seems to gain more confidence with his new team mates around. Specially that he have Kyrie and Kevin who both has championship experience. Unlike with Houston, yes CP3 is good but he doesn't have that championship experience.

So let's see how far the Nets can go this time with Harden looking for his 1st championship ring.
