3821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: February 03, 2021, 09:31:17 PM
I haven't entered the heart attack stage yet. Every time my basebet is high, it gets cold and my heart moves fast. The dangers of gambling are indeed high enough for the mind or health.
Do what you think is better for you, for your satisfaction and for your own health. It's not just about hitting the jackpot but what happens often is about losing. It will give you more stress than hitting the jackpot so if you think that you're not good anymore in the former game that you're playing with or if you're betting with a high base amount, you need to change or replace it.

right now I better switch to sportbet because I can enjoy enjoying ball / basketball.
I also find sports betting is enjoyable and fun. You get to analyze the games you're about to bet and there's no regret whether they win or lose because you can watch how the game will end and it's not a quick game. There are news that you can use if there's a change within a roster or handicap which you can use. And that's totally going to help you avoid having a stress or heart attack.

3823  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami Mayor Will Allow Employee salaries in Bitcoin on: February 03, 2021, 06:30:08 PM
Jack and Tyler were to be bitcoin investors and supporters so any city that shall do this, they'll praise it and say smart idea. And the same as us, we like each time we hear news such as this because it's embracing bitcoin which we've been waiting for a long time.

I've heard of the taxation paid in bitcoin before and paying salaries in bitcoin is another good initiative for them. But it shouldn't be a forced payment in bitcoin and would just be an option and the employees still has freedom to choose it.

If I'm one of the employees, I'll take 50:50. 50% of my salary shall be paid in bitcoin which is already a good deal or 70:30. 30% in btc.
3824  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Balance not showing in Blockchain.com on: February 03, 2021, 05:29:10 PM
That's just a bug that they can't fix for other accounts. If it's not yet fixed, try to re-login again and again. But if that doesn't fix anything again, download their app and try accessing it there.

Based on my experience, one time that when it happened to me, I emailed them and suggested to download their app and it worked. It's been a long problem of blockchain.com. It is existing since they're still .info.

Or you might try logging in through incognito, just give it a try.
3825  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: February 02, 2021, 10:16:30 PM
Hey, just want to update you guys that a phishing site with your gambling site name(bustabit.cam) is still active and is visible above your original website when searching bustabit or bustabit.com through google. it might help remove the phishing site that has your name if you reported it for trademark infringement to google or the domain provider so the website could be taken down.
It is still existing. I hope that google will take them down as soon as they receive a report from an authorized bustabit representative.

The simplest remedy here are adblockers. If I search for Bustabit in the Brave browser, the scam page is not displayed at all, because they usually buy advertising slots and are therefore ranked at the top:
I've done it on Brave and you're right, it's not appearing. But for the other browsers, it shows.
3826  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is anyone else not able to reach coinbase tech suppport? on: February 02, 2021, 08:03:42 PM
Does Binance do fiat?
Yes, they have it.

Whats a reputable trustworthy exchange like coin base?
Are you from US? if you're from US, it's Binance.us that fits you. But if not, you can use the .com domain. These days, the support of Coinbase has been hard to reach and they keep reminding that because of the flood of queries into their system from a lot of customers, they are having hard time reaching each and everyone of you.
3827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice games on: February 02, 2021, 05:53:15 PM
The only strategy that I did before is martingale but it's been a long time and found it not effective on me. Truly, dice games are luck-based games and I can't find a way that you can beat it unless you have moments of winnings.

I do think we just need to find the right one , that's why I made this post honestly. Other than that maybe you can double book on the site , maybe go with your family ? Friends ? Then it would be like in the worst case scenario you won't lose.
Maybe but strategies that we find don't really last. It's either you're lucky at the start and it will give you a streak of wins but it wouldn't stay at a very long time.

It would be okay for me to go with my friends but I don't think someone from my family will take a shot. But it is no guarantee that I won't lose because it's always there.

For me, its hard to find a winning strategy on Dice game because the nature of its system, even if we try many strategies, it is still not proven and its hard to tell if you are really winning or just losing big money in long term.

Well, you can find winning strategies in moments but it won't last long. You just can't beat them even if you discoveries a lot of strategies.
3829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops/bounty/giveaways centralized resource on: February 01, 2021, 11:34:10 AM
You're already in the forum on the second child board of the section of Marketplace Altcoins which you'll see too many airdrops and bounties.

Just get back a little to the third one which is the Bounties (Altcoins).
3830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price correction btc 6-12 months on: February 01, 2021, 09:43:41 AM
If the 2017-2018 bulls and bears are your basis then, you're probably haven't looked at its correlation about the halving before those years and the halving that we've got just last year.

But taking into account that we're comparing it with those years, January 2021 is like January 2017. And if you have understood by that means, your expectation could change but it's all on you and we'll see until this year ends but I'm bullish.

Peter Brandt pointed out the same fractal similarity, but like me, he doesn't think it's predictive of a crash like 2017. He still expects parabolic upside from here: https://twitter.com/PeterLBrandt/status/1356037338057601025
Just want to point out that I like this guy and been following him when he had forecasted a good prediction last year around June about bitcoin.
3831  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Faketoshi CSW vs Cøbra Bitcoin on: February 01, 2021, 08:04:54 AM
It's going to be so much fun when he finally runs out of money and ends up in some psych ward.
I only see this as no use for him but trying hard just to take the attention and wants to fool some of the people who don't have any idea who he really is.

We're in the bull market and he needs some boost for his BSV that doesn't move ever since we've entered into bitcoin's bull run.
3832  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bears did that just kill? on: January 31, 2021, 02:51:31 PM
I think only a few or probably just one exchange I've seen that had said they'll be limiting users' buy order for bitcoin. But for the biggest exchanges, I haven't heard them saying that warning and caution to their users.

I believe that most of them have the biggest reserve which might be in use if they ever get short in bitcoin for sale. If they ever use fBTC for the orders as you've said, they'll be backing it up with the actual BTC for withdrawals which I think, instead of using fbtc just for the sake of show balance, they don't have to do it but instead use actual BTC.
3833  Economy / Economics / Re: Great reset is done on: January 31, 2021, 01:36:58 PM
Its done and covid will be forgotten
That's wishful thinking. The reality is that covid isn't yet done although vaccines are on their way mostly in different countries it will take time maybe for a year or two until everyone gets vaccinated. And there are those people who don't want to take but that's okay because some countries have already stated that it's not forceful vaccination.

The key years ... for people to waiting new things are
2025 and 2030
Key years for bitcoin.

What you think what we will see then ?
Will it be war ? Another economic chaos ?
Sure they gona have some new circus
We're just going through an economic instability but after that, we'll see the recovery and most countries will do.
3834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Past experience could help the future on: January 31, 2021, 11:45:36 AM
What's on your list? Which project fulfill their promise and which doesn't ?
None. No idea with most of them and not paying attention to any of them.

5. Oikos round one
What does this project mean? does it mean that it has a round two or another next round after it's been launched? or it's just part of the name?

In 2020, Bounty and Airdoropes brought me little benefit. Maybe I chose the wrong projects. But in my opinion, Bounty and Airdrop are now not a very productive form of earning. I prefer to invest in Bitcoin on it, I really managed to make some decent money in 2020.
Good decision and right choice. It's better to invest in bitcoin for real rather than spend that much time looking for a good bounty which you have no idea if it will play well or not after you spent your time working on it.
3835  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KRAKEN - COINBASE down!!! on: January 30, 2021, 09:25:15 AM
Always in Coinbase when there's a sudden pump but I don't know with Kraken.

Lets move to Binance exchange for your trading or investing because there always running well not care how billion traffic coming every day during have coin suddenly pump, looks when DOGE raise higher price above 0.08$ many trader opening Binance on the same time but website running well without any problem, you can trade without exchange site is close or maintance, maybe if you have any well running site exchange why do you still use other exchange for your trading?

I can't understand your english sorry, not to be rude... What is your point?
In my understanding, he's point is suggesting you to move in Binance and just use them. Because when there are sudden pumps, Binance seems to be reliable and don't experience this problem. Although before, they've gone with the same issue when the market was flooded with many traders but as CZ said, they've probably added more servers and upgraded it to avoid such issues.
3836  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to make Bitcoin reach $400k on: January 30, 2021, 08:12:46 AM
You don't have to do anything, just wait a few more years. This year we'll break the $100,000 barrier and after that anything is possible.
I would agree on this, there's nothing we can do but to keep holding it and let bitcoin be adopted naturally by those companies and let them buy as much as they want. Just what Grayscale is doing, they're in the buying zone no matter what price we have.

But regards to the price of OP which is $400k, I'd be happy to wait for the $100k first before speculating more than that. $250k, $300k and $400k.
3837  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2 BTC Binance limit on: January 30, 2021, 02:41:39 AM
Once a government regulatory entity notices that limit, they are about to change it before they'll be pressured. For now, those who can enjoy the limits without having to go through a verification (KYC), there's no need to worry about it. But be not surprised if they'll make some adjustments, huge or small.

It would be great to hear someone who's enjoying entirely the daily 2 BTC limit on Binance.
3838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: January 29, 2021, 10:42:55 AM
No I haven't tried it and I don't have a plan on using it.
It is just the same as stock broker why do some people use it?
They need assistance and they couldn't manage their funds properly so they seek assistance from the professional.
I thought of it that it's no use to use them if we can do it on our own. But it was explained to me how the betting broker works. Read the explanation that was said in the quote below.

There are gamblers, especially those hardcore sports bettors, who are strict in terms of choosing odds that even .5 to 1% increase matters. In fiat gambling, that was necessary. If you will look into odds comparison sites, they like to bet on the best odds they can get. It's not comfortable if they will sign up at different websites just to get the best odds. These gamblers want to have a sports betting account that can bet at the best odds in one click.

That's where using the broker is an advantage as right in front of their screen, they can choose from various websites offering a good deal.

For us, who are not used to use a betting broker, it will be easy to say that why do we need this if we can bet for ourselves.
3839  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is up $4500 in 30 munites? on: January 29, 2021, 09:22:15 AM
I have caught the price a few hours ago that it became $34k and then dropped a bit in $32k.

It is surprising and shocking to see it pump. I wouldn't notice it pumped until I've seen your update.

The dogecoins pump is probably done and people are taking their bitcoins back.
3840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you don't know or understand what happened today with cryto read this. on: January 29, 2021, 07:21:37 AM
OK, it's really helpful, DOGE have increased 400%~
I see it with 800%+ gains within less than a day.

Maybe the question is how is this going to affect crypto currency or bitcoin itself.
Well, just as what we've been thinking before about manipulation. When most of the retail investors join hands in buying bitcoin, that's the same as gamestop's pump.

But it seems to be not new to us when we see bitcoin pump it's greater than Gamestop's recent pump. The idea is that new money would come in to bitcoin if those retail investors get in to bitcoin or if majority of the altcoin investors do the same.
