3821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: April 25, 2018, 12:49:26 PM
I would suggest to check the potential of the new coin. You should check the project behind the coin and see if it would solve some problems or provide innovation in their target market.

A lot of people have gottem rich when they gambled on new coins and icos though most of the time, you have to be very careful because a new coin pumps only for a little while before dumping drastically. Unless it has a good roadmap and team behind it to consider it for long term holding
3822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CAUTION] MyEtherWallet(MEW) hijacked (April 24, 2018) on: April 25, 2018, 12:46:28 PM
thanks for this warning. this is really bad when something like this happens. hope not many people lost money thru this hijack, but as i have read, over 200k eth have been stolen.   Sad

But unfortunately that over 200k eth is a lot and for sure many traders are regretting for not using hardware wallet, yet this sundden attack should be a warning to all of us that there's nothing safe nowadays especially from hackers that don't know anything but to stole. They really did this on purpose like market is all green and people are selling their coins and that will be a perfect timing to their evil plan, good thing I didn't open my wallet yesterday and just checking my coins through etherscan.
Am I safe using a hardware wallet? And has the problem already been fixed? Can not find any official announcement that the problem has been resolved...

Well you're a whole lot safer if you're on a hardware wallet. Thus goes to show that if you really want to secure your assets, then it's best to invest in a hardware wallet. I had a few qualms when i made an account in mew and fortunately i only have a few tokens stored there. Though the tokens are still there last time i checked :p
3823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty is like a Box Chocolate on: April 25, 2018, 12:43:17 PM
Being on a bounty campaign is like a box of chocolate you never know what you're going to get.

conclusion:

You never know that a Token you're gonna get have some worth or no.

don't you agree guys?

"Forest Gump Movie Qoutes"
Life is Like a box of chocolate you never know what you're going to get.

Yeah that's pretty much how it is with bounty campaigns. Though you could at least do some research about the ico you'll be advertising like checking out their websites and the campaign manager. Though in the end, even if you get paid, the token isn't guaranteed to have value yet
3824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market has woken up on: April 25, 2018, 12:31:10 PM
Since April of this year, the market has begun to slowly pick up. Many people think that this is a market recovery, but I think this may be a trap and the market will plunge again in the near future. What I did was, during this time, do nothing and watch patiently the changes in the market.

Market cap already increasing more than 30% from 250billions dollar. Hopely that is a sign that investor gain more confident with crypto. But I am already make a plan holding my coin and token for long term untill end this years.

Well it seems to be that way dude and some people already expect a recovery after a bad 1st quarter. It's likely not a trap though i also wouldn't consider this a bull run as well. Of course expect a couple of corrections every now and then.
3825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion on token airdrops? on: April 25, 2018, 12:28:19 PM
I participate in airdrops and ICO projects with a reliable reputation, although sometimes some eventually turn out to be a scam. Therefore, it's hard to choose something worthwhile.
I think the token of airdrop is not always good,
because they give away for free without you work, this is difference with bounty.

What's not good with that? You don't lose anything with airdrops dude. Compared to bounties, if the token ends up as a bogus token, you didn't put in time and effort to it so feel regretful about the wasted time. It's simply free money.
3826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: April 25, 2018, 12:28:05 PM
what's your reason joining here in crypto?
the only reason why I join here is because I need money, and I want to know everything about cryptocurrency. since the first time I heard it, it hooks my interest, and that's when my adventure begin with crypto world.

If you're only for money, it's not going to take long before you realize the mistake made by those who had the same sentiment about crypto last december. Crypto is more than about money. It's technology can affect not only economics but pretty much everything in the future. Earning is just a thin outside layer in this market.
3827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your plans for the year 2018 on: April 25, 2018, 12:22:03 PM
I plan on doing as much bounties as I can.

Holding any coin I have too, hopng market will come around  Grin.

Well that's one way to acquire coins without having to shell out money. You just have to put in quite the time and effort though but who knows, these bounties are well worth it in the long run. For me i'm just going to hold out and sell sparingly this year. The coins i hold are meant for long term since i believe they'll really make a big difference a few years from now
3828  Economy / Economics / Re: You're not wealthy yet, so you're not allowed to be wealthy on: April 24, 2018, 01:19:29 PM
You are allowed to be wealthy even though you are rich or poor, you are wealthy or not. That is the simple rule, you are allowed in anything as long as it is for good and it will give benefits to you and also to others. Getting into the state of being wealthy is not easy but if you pay a lot of attention and put a lot of effort and focus then you can be wealthy.
True, we have the freedom and opportunity to be wealthy. All of us had the chance to become wealthy in our own way by doing effort, patience, and determined to achieve it. Therefore, in investing an Ico we have to make sure that everything we invest are legit and can give a profit.

Just do what you want and let the people say whatever they want to say and focus on your own goals. Because Crypto is for everyone who wants to get out of their poverty
only ourselves can change fate. for that as long as we are sure and willing to work, i think that is not impossible. many ico which have a small limit to be invested, which is important we have skill to analyze it

Well some people get more chances and opportunities than others so if ever you get an opportunity, better to waste it. Be diligent and learn how to handle your money. Probably in time you'll be wealthy that way. One thing that separates wealthy people from regular people is they know how to handle money and are not afraid to take risks once an opportunity presents itself
3829  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do ? on: April 24, 2018, 01:16:09 PM
First of all, if your country will have such rules as to fine people giving alms to beggars, they should have an effective method make lives better for these people. If not, then i think it's not right to have such rules. And giving money isn't a good idea as well. Better to just give them what they really need. Food, clothing, medicines, if i'm not allowed to give them money, i'd give them those
3830  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying a house with BTC on: April 24, 2018, 01:12:46 PM
Transactions using Bitcoin are banned in our country, even if someone wants to buy a house with Bitcoin, then is there anyone who would sell his house and receive Bitcoin as a means of payment ?!

I think we should fined an owner of the house who believe and have knowledge with bitcoin. Because if that is the situation, that is easy for us to buy. Nowadays many people with bitcoin but many also don't have a knowledge on it.

Well if the two parties have agreed on making a deal using btc, then i don't see why it can be a problem. I don't think governments would require to see the transaction taking place itself with fiat being exchanged. And btc p2p transactions are pretty much anonymous to track so i don't see why it can't happen
3831  Other / Off-topic / Re: Generation Screwed on: April 24, 2018, 12:59:52 PM
Our generation does not have the same opportunities as the previous generation; it is difficult not to be concerned about the future and angry about the past.

It is normal to see more Millennials living with their parents than with roommates. Marriage, having children and buying a house has to be delayed longer than before; according to the seniors, we are the ones to blame along with other things they say like lazy. No matter where you are, it seems this generation has to try harder to achieve less than any generation before. Rent/mortgage could consume half of the income; jobs are unstable if you can find one and probably you are overqualified for it.

In order to have a decent life, we have to live with DEBT, to study we have to take a student loan and probably many of us won’t be able to retire until we are 75. Salaries have declined and entire sectors have disappeared. At the same time, the cost of living has increased. It is clear that there are not enough opportunities for all of us.

Are we the ones to blame? Is the previous generation to blame? Do we have to adapt our lifestyle? Is the government capable to do something?

Completely , perfectly agreed. Millennials have more difficult lifestyle than past generations . But, today's generations are not the ones the blame. The only people to blame for this horrible situation is capitalist system which has been ruling the whole earth recently. Capitalism makes people have more debt to make their end's meet. Yes, of course, millenials have to adapt their lifestyle for this bloody horrible life.

Well the previous generation, having been able to experience more hardships, probably thought it best to take it easy on the newer generation which can really be a two edged sword. Technology made us lazy. Google, wikipedia, facebook and the internet probably made this generation reliant on technology
3832  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you explain terrorism to a child? on: April 24, 2018, 12:50:40 PM
I have come across watching Ms. Universe 2017 a while ago and have stumbled upon this question. Terrorism is rampant and a hot topic when it come to news and other media, being an elder or a parent, how would you exolain terrorism to a child?
when i was a child, terrorism is the one word that only myself identify its meaning.

i think there is no need for us to explain terrorism to children right now because actually, they will read about it all over the social media, paper, news and even in schools.

Well curiosity us one thing every child possess in abundance. Of course they'll see it but you have to be there to explain to them why it's happening. It's hard and as much as possible children shouldn't be exposed to violent and malicious acts but they also have to understand that this world isn't only made up of good people. Yin and yang. There will always be people who'll want to hurt others and they have to be aware to know what to do
3833  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When you are old, what stories will you tell children when they ask for stories? on: April 24, 2018, 12:45:35 PM
Recently in this new generation, we all focused on social media having lots of friends on social media and few trusted friends in the real world. when i was younger i do ask lots of question that sometime end with a long relating past experience/story from my parents and grandparents. Sometimes i do ask myself, if this was how they lived why is our different. What stories will i tell my offsprings about my life and life in general knowing i have little to talk about.
Though i came up with some answers like interacting with people face to face and always having this quote in mind

*knowledge comes with experience, experience comes with lesson learnt, lesson learned come with mistake. Ruskin Kwofie *

*Do not be afraid to start afresh*

Well even if most experiences are now shared through social media, there are probably a lot of stories behind every post and picture. It's easier to share past experiences now since you have records to look back on. Photos of my travels and the stories behind them would be an interesting share for my children
3834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 24, 2018, 12:25:09 PM
Looks like a bye now for the San Antonio Spurs and better luck next playoffs. But who knows if they can still extend the series even in front of the big Golden State Warriors. Looks like the disappearance of Gregg Popovich making them play hard and want to prove that they can still win even without the presense of their coach . This Game 5, their first assistant coach will again act as their head coach.

I must say that it is indeed a great game for the Spurs as they literally bounced back for a win. But, Given the situation warriors might be in a little pressure as the momentum is shifted to Spurs. As I see, Everyone steps up in that game especially Manu, The spurs are truly making things work out up until coach pop returns but nonetheless they are facing Warriors (Home court) which is an additional factor for the GS to seal the series. Steve Kerr will surely adjust this time.
If the Spurs will beat the warriors in game 5, then I would say that we might see a good series, but I would not expect
now because the warriors are really playing well at home and they will do everything to finish the series so they can rest and welcome curry back
in the 2nd round.

Indeed. They really needed to beat the San Antonio Spurs so that they will get a rest instead of having a extended series that might affect some key players. This is the first round, and it should be expected that they will win against Spurs. I don't know if they are pressure though, they just had a bad game and Spurs doesn't want a to sweep in the series. Of course Manu had always at least one big game in a playoff series and definitely he step up for the Spurs to take a win and live another day. Maybe its the last time we are going to see him play.  Sad

I hope not but it's obvious that the spurs are for now, past their dominant selves as in the timmy era. And add the absence of kawhi, not much has been expected from this team. But game 4 showed you why the haven't missed a post season for the longest time. Its about heart. And there's no better example of the spurs' fighting heart than old man manu
3835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: Culture on: April 24, 2018, 12:21:56 PM
The gambling and culture I think it is related, because the gambling had such a culture in the people who are already in considers as part of their lives, in all the country in a variety of the of rich until the poor surely they are gambled than gambled small to gambled millions of

Gambling has been around even before society learned to be civilized. A lot of culture have their own forms of gambling probably same as having their own beliefs and religion. So yeah with the evolution of civilization, gambling has always been a part of it
3836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: April 24, 2018, 12:19:00 PM
Some people think that strong feeling affect the outcome of your bet. But for me its all about luck., what do you think guys.

Positive thinking may help you maintain your composure and patience which is very important when youre gambling to avoid a massive loss. Because once your upset, your mindset will be filled with negative thoughts and thus you will recklessly bet all your money.
Thats why I shall say positive thinking will affect the outcome not only with your bet, but in general.
If someone is facing losses on gambling then he need to stop gambling on that day and continue on some other day,if he continue to chase the lost money with the positive mind set also will result in the losses again. But literally the mind set doen't affect the gambling because it is just a luck based so the positive or bad mind set may not have any effect on games.
Agree with you, when we bet who will determine winning and losing just on luck. Like playing dice, there is no special strategy to win it. But for your income, positive thinking or our mindset will help you get a lot of income. The main factor to lose in gambling is greed, we are not satisfied with what we get and that's the bad thinking and make our income before will lose.
The world of faith is totally different from the world of logics and I am also more of a logical person than a blind believer. Gambling is a game of luck and it cannot be expected to be in favor of gambler if he starts thinking positively. If a person stays positive then there are chances that he might play more than he should and loses more amount than he can afford to. That’s dangerous.

The thing is, you tend to make better decisions when you're confident and positive than when you're down and desperate. It's easier to let it go and leave to fight another day when you're not feeling any regret pulling you back to try and run after losses. I don't know but for me i does have an effect
3837  Economy / Economics / Re: will next decade be the bitcoin era ?? on: April 24, 2018, 12:14:27 PM
As by seeing the usage graph and profiting graph i can easily assume that in next decade of 2020 people will mainly relay on bitcoin and the main thing to survive in the next era will be bitcoin and it will be frequently used by everyone and that will help many regions to boost their economy as well so hope for the best, many people are eagerly waiting for the btc system to be implemented.

Bitcoin will not be easily erased on the market especially right now that many people continuously discovering bitcoin and investing on it. So in the following years it will be great if bitcoin will be develop as it is always connected to technology as technology continuously developing.

And the more btc and crypto features become mainstream and people realize it, there probably will be a transfer of money banks to online wallets. So it's very likely that crypto will indeed be a major player in the economy for any country in the next 10years
3838  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to invest more of what I don't have (money) on: April 24, 2018, 12:12:00 PM
I want to invest a few more thousands into eos, iota, and aion for the win. Too bad it will take me a few more weeks. I am so drained lol. Anyone else thinking like this? So motivated to invest. But lacking the funds.

If you are really interested on investing an altcoin then i highly prefer that you place your money on ethereum coins because it already showed its potential in this past months ago because the growth has tremendously increase more than any other altcoins in the market.

Well it can wait. Better to just wait for your funds to be available than opting to borrow other people's money just so you could buy in. Many have had the mistake of investing loaned money and most of the time it doesn't go well for them in the end.
3839  Economy / Economics / Re: market refresh or just a pump ? on: April 24, 2018, 12:09:52 PM
Hi today market goes green
as you can see in 1 houre perfomance everything changed is it the comeback or just a pump ? what you think about it what is going on ?

Now the pump of bitcoin is really green and i am very happy to see it because it has been long time, that we couldn't see bitcoin above $9000. Now bitcoin is $9323 so it is good pump for us. But i think it is not a selling time, if we do long term trade with bitcoin, then must hold your bitcoins, after it we will get more pump, i will hold my bitcoins till the bitcoin will reach at $25000
Well we've been in a long decline for the past few months so this run that we're seeing is definitely a welcome sight. But let's not get too excited about it. With the pace it's taking it's more on a steady recovery stage than a mere pump.
3840  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Reasons Why Many Families Are Feeling Extreme Financial Stress on: April 24, 2018, 12:07:32 PM
This is caused When we spend more than the amount that we earn, inevitably this will end badly. We can blame the "bad" government, which don't give us jobs or keep rising the taxes and charges, but our financial health must be managed by ourselves. Trying to keep a lifestyle that our pockets can't support is the best way to get overstressed.

It's going to be as simple as living within your means. Especially if you have a family. Spend on what you can afford and as much as possible don't spend on luxuries if you don't have a lot to spare. The problem with today's society is that many people give too much importance about how others will see their financial status.
