Michael Jordan helped Kobe as much as he can to improve Kobe's game and wanted him to move the game forward, and Kobe's last tweet was about how Lebron should move the game forward, and Lebron should want players after him to move the game forward. I do not think that players would want others to be like them, I think players will want younger generation to be better than them.

Merit for the optimism.  Wink
I like that and great players should do those kind of acts. Or all the veterans should be like this.
Teach the younger ones and not step on them.

If I will buy the story that LeBron is afraid of making clutch shots, then it's better not to take those. It's a good idea if he passes the ball instead. That's a great decision. What matters here is his overall performance on that game.
This is also why I like players who can do clutch assists.  Wink
How can you afford to still pass the ball when the clock is going red.
A strong mentality is a gift, but if he did learn it he may had trained so hard.
3822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling issues? Read this! on: May 15, 2020, 04:47:15 PM
I thought it was going to be gambling sites issues thread.
Never mind.  Grin

This could help some of the people here.
But I am guessing 50 percent are also in control of their gambling lifestyles.
I don't know why I said it, just my own basis.
3823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving , and its Effects on: May 15, 2020, 03:32:28 PM
possibly the biggest fundamental event

What could this be?
Me? I am not sure what is going to happen.
I stay with the present. I want to see more events that will make difference to the world. Financially or in technology.

There are so much flaws in different payment system like Paypal, etc.
I still prefer bitcoin if only the fees were a little cheaper. So I just keep it for now.
But, I still have hopes that soon it won't be like that anymore.
Low or high amount transactions should be the same in fees.
3824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 15, 2020, 02:21:14 PM
They are both wanted the ball in the most crucial seconds of the game.

True, that separates these two from Lebron James because Lebron though has a very impressive stats but he is not a clutch player, sometimes it leads him to pass the last shot instead of taking the shot because I don't know maybe he is afraid to put the blame on him, and also his FT is not reliable, more on the crucial situation of the game.

That may be the reason behind it. The freethrow percentage. If he gets fouled then there is a high chance that the opponent can make a lead on the next ball possession.
But I do believe he have his moments too.
That fading to the sideline glass shot and a another fade away from the three point line where he almost stepped in the line.
If we break it all down, I think Kobe have the most clutch shots.
He had more years playing the game vs Jordan.
3825  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans hoarding cash doing more harm to their economy? on: May 15, 2020, 01:17:52 PM
I forgot what country it is.
But the event happened like the President states to the people that they need to spend more than keeping their cash.

There is also a solution for this.
Save it in a bank.
Cash will still circulate that way. While you still have numbers in banks.
3826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 delays thread on: May 15, 2020, 12:35:49 PM
@Reid. It might be because the roadmap they had might have changed during the interview hehehe. It might only be bad timing hehe.

I am not defending Vitalik. I am only trying to be fair. However, yes his tweet telling everyone that he did not hear July made him appear dishonest.

Yeah, but let us also be fair to those who heard it and expecting something in just a couple of months.

I will understand if he will use the pandemic reasoning.
Looks to me like every project now is using that kind of statement which is acceptable to a lot of investors.
Who won't? We are all in the same page now.
3827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 15, 2020, 11:07:15 AM

Thoughts?

My rank for them when we talk about clutch is according on how you write it.
Michael at first, Kobe then Lebron.

They have their own strengths though.
Lebron could start the game already in fire while MJ and Kobe needs a little time to heat their engines.
But we are talking about a fourth quarter game. It needs a lot of confidence.
I vote for MJ. He can shoot or he can pass, it's difficult to defend those kind of players.
3828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 14, 2020, 03:23:28 PM
Being optimistic about it.

About the format.
Quote
A few ideas have reportedly been floated, such as having a play-in tournament to give more teams a chance to make the playoffs, but it’s hard to even consider ideas for playoff formats when the basics are still undecided. Wojnarowski reported that the NBA has yet to figure out if all 30 teams will return when the NBA restarts, or if any of the remaining regular-season games will be played at all. Teams have 15-20 games left to play this season.

They are still not mentioning anything if there is a plan or changes in the format.
There is no time frame into when they could resume the league so there must be something there.
Like in case they go back July, how can they squeeze the remaining games in it?
What if August or September?

#2 It's like Joe doesn't really know what is happening until dynamites are coming out.  Grin
When you see it in slow motion you will observe, shock, shocked and what the heck happened emotions.
Then, I am going to the bathroom but no wait I will lay in front of it for now and sink it all in.  Grin

But, sadly I will need to pick #5.
Man, that was all natural happiness and disbelief to what is happening.  Grin
Also, he look like my little step brother.

Now, gotta go and make a Twitch account and make a video.
They inspired me.

At what gambling site are they playing?
3830  Economy / Economics / Re: The Coronavirus as A Means of Financial Reset on: May 14, 2020, 08:14:36 AM
My guts also tells me that is what really happened.

Who gets sickness from eating bats that had been boiled?
No, I don't think so. Even if that is the dirtiest or all the animals in the world.
Once boiled you took out all the germs in it. Plus, there is your stomach who will also help from heating it up and digesting it.
Then you have your own resistance to fight it.
So, where did it really come from?

If there will proofs that this was meant to attack other countries to lose their balance we might see more countries fighting each other.
Is China really hurt about this pandemic with their countrymen or is this just a way to lessen their population?
But this are still speculations. I hope they will find the real answers.
3831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 delays thread on: May 14, 2020, 04:42:10 AM
Misheard. How could he miss that important question?
We all want the date so I think he didn't really misheard it.

He could've just used the Covid19 pandemic as the reason behind the delay of everything.
That's more reasonable.  Grin
3832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 14, 2020, 03:14:43 AM
There is just too much tension and a lot had been revealed in it.
He also considered what will others feel if the film will go out.
I knew that there was some tension between Jordan, Pippen and Krause, but I had no idea  it was that complicated. Back then we didn't get many news from NBA here in Europe, all we had were newspapers and that NBA Inside Stuff show. When you think that Bulls could have won few more titles, if there was more consideration. Like when Kobe and Shaq split, if they stayed  together they could have won few more titles together.
It's like of those locker room stories. But this one is something big.
Didn't even expect that either.
What good timing too, people are in lock down and like waiting for an episode of GOT.  Grin
I just hope that last 2 episodes of The Last Dance won't be as bad as last season of GOT Wink.
Wahahaha
You don't like good endings? Something dramatic or happily ever after?  Grin
The other reason, is I hate buffering. I might break my television when I throw the TV remote.  Grin
Dunno, but in general Netflix is not that demanding when it comes to bandwidth so if you have at least 10 mb DL, you shouldn't have issues.  Well, unless you are streaming 4k HDR stuff. Only issue is if The Last Dance is not available in your country, but even that can be sorted with good VPN.
No, I think it is my android black box which is having problems.
It ain't the new stuff out there that can use 4k.
Also, I think it has issues with its WIFI connection. It's slow but when I use my smartphone I can read a stable connection.
Yeah, VPN might really help.
3833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 13, 2020, 02:20:05 PM

I guess Kobe's wife has loss her love to basketball if there is because he loss her daughter and her husband in a tragic incident.
Maybe anything related to basketball, she will try to forget it so they can move on... I wonder who will get the award once time comes that Kobe will be honored again in the NBA. ... respect,, yes that is what they need as it's hard to move on with what happen.
They're in grieve, I hope they could pass that difficult time.
It will heal, but it will take time.
Hell! Even us are still affected by such loss.
How hard could it be for a mother grieving for her daughter and as a wife losing her husband.
That's just too much to handle and it was so sudden.

They all want peace. Maybe they could  find it with this kind of ways.  Cry

Here's some news about our Idol Kobe the Mamba.

Mamba Sports Academy To Remove "Mamba" From Its Name

Quote
Madelyn Burke: The Mamba Sports Academy is "Mamba" no more. The organization announced Tuesday it was retiring Mamba from the name and will be known as Sports Academy going forward. I'm joined now by SI NBA writer Rohan Nadkarni. Rohan, Sports Academy says the move is meant to be made with respect to the Mamba name. What do you make of this announcement?

was it a good move or not?

I do respect the decision.
It is not about the name. It is about their motto which is going forward which Mamba also says a lot and believes in.
He will be remembered for that. The strength to keep on going even at the hardest time of his career.

Quote
Madelyn Burke: Now, the Academy, of course, added the nickname to its title in 2018 after Kobe Bryant and Sports Academy CEO Chad Faulkner joined forces. Sports Academy, though, says their mission remains unchanged. Rohan Nadkarni, thanks so much for the time.

Their mission is to make players reach their higher potentials and as said, it will not change.
3835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Platform for playing Teen Patti with BTC on: May 13, 2020, 09:05:28 AM
First time I heard about that game.
Even with reading in wikipedia and all the explanation I can't still fully embrace the flow of the game.
My bad, even with those images that Ryker1 shared, I don't have any idea.

I am better watching others play it. I learn faster with that.
Like how I did learn mahjong and poker. I watched people play live and did learn everything.  Grin
You know, we all ought to get bored with our games, maybe this could be a good suggestion to our gambling site owners here in the forum. Wink
3836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you view an ICO project if it was launched by an accredited lawyer? on: May 13, 2020, 06:11:49 AM
First, proof of authenticity.
We need that. There had been a bad event before where students used the profile of their professors to create the team of an ICO.
Forgot its name. But it got viral here.

Next, legitimacy. How can we be sure? Where should we check it? What if there is privacy control in their country?
He could show papers but I could also make one to be a fake lawyer.

If he passed that all, the project.
Even if you are the most tweeted guy in Twitter, the project could still fail.
It is not just about the name or position. Investors are getting careful now.
3837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 13, 2020, 03:14:12 AM
Must... resist... the... urge...

Sorry, I don't watch GOT but I replaced it for a pretty good one. Alex Caruso the GOAT

Haha. That's hilarious.

As for me, I would like to watch some of the full episodes when everything is finished. Hopefully can find some source where I can download it with no problem. if they released it in amazon or any other stores would be great, that could be added to some of my collections.seeing some preview in the Facebook advertisement of the documentary the Last Dance, makes me feel excited to watch the full episode at once.

If you knew how to download on torrent, you can find it there. If you don't, send me a message I'll give you a link. You can watch all episodes by May 17 where the last 2 episodes would be publish.
I don't like torrents. I got bad history with it. Too much virus cannot be handled by my anti-virus.  Grin
This is also why it's taking a lot of time for me to watch the episodes.
I am trying to download them all just so I could watch them again when I miss it.
The other reason, is I hate buffering. I might break my television when I throw the TV remote.  Grin
3838  Economy / Speculation / Re: The excitement is over, what's next? on: May 12, 2020, 05:04:54 PM
Here we go the much anticipated price of BTC Halving is over, there were lot of speculations on this but the majority failed, however I guess it still remain stable Even in this tough situation.
The hype is still out there and even BBC news made an effort to make an article about it.  Grin
https://www.bbc.com/news/business-52628034
Oh! and this forum is also filled with it.
Sadly most of it is about when the price hike will be.

So what's next? Will the price go down or it will remain stable or it will pump? In my opinion the price may go down as this COVID-19 has affected very very badly which may cause investors to sell their assets.. kindly share your opinion guys.
Yeah, it will go down to $3k. With all this hype we can expect that.  Grin
Maybe it will or maybe not. We are all unsure of what the future will bring.
This stability may happen to be because of COVID19 which is still out there.
We should focus on that more. It will be happier if we are all still alive to see bitcoin grew as an adult.
3839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 12, 2020, 03:11:30 PM
Every bit of episodes in Last Dance was superb. I enjoyed all the documentary.

Now, I wonder what would be the last two episodes left.  Cheesy
Hey, hey, please do calm down or you will spoil it all.  Wink
Yeah, I am loving it.
We now know why MJ is trying so hard to not let it go streaming worldwide.
There is just too much tension and a lot had been revealed in it.
He also considered what will others feel if the film will go out.

What good timing too, people are in lock down and like waiting for an episode of GOT.  Grin
3840  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of BTC after halving on: May 12, 2020, 01:21:58 PM
It's bad for people who have too much expectation.

This is for the best.
Patience is what we needed.
Just try to calculate everything for now or use this time to be the opportunity to buy more.
Do always keep in mind that it could go anywhere.
It doesn't always mean that the value should go up after a halving happens.
