3841  Other / Meta / Re: Do you check the merit history of users before meriting them? on: July 24, 2020, 03:04:42 AM
I pretty much send merits out as soon as I get them.  Increasingly I'll utilise Loyce's merit stats pages for the recipient and also my own to ensure they either haven't received merits previously, or, the ones I have sent don't surpass just two merits.  My early merit giving hadn't considered merits would run out (not sure why but I thought after time _everyone's_ merits restocked - always read the label).  Typically, the merits I gave out were usually to people who don't really need them (given it turns out they are merit fonts or some other reason).

I saw also that post when he requested to ask for deletion and that is only few days since someone posted this observations means he managed to delete that so fast.

Another option would be if the UID in question had contributed numerous times to a mega thread that has since been removed taking a fair chunk of their posts in the process.

Hello again;

I was wondering if I could get a loan from you:

Code:

Amount: 0.01 BTC
Loan duration: 10 days
BTC address: 3MbgTnmcU5mzL35rFGCCb9tBMRnsmKRVNC

Thanks in advance.
3844  Other / Meta / Re: This member has weird stats. on: July 21, 2020, 12:35:53 PM
People peddling in account sales would advertise that an account had "potential" activity.  One of our mods/admin even had a website where you could calculate said potential activity.
I remembered that recent months there is a member user post another lively sheet but I don't know who he is and where it is.

That one is an old one: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/edit#gid=1012758442. I get if from TIL Activity does not work on precisely 2 week intervals + interval timings

There's a few too many blanks on that Google Spread Sheet so I can't decipher it.  I haven't seen it before, or anything quite like it I'm sorry to say.

At least that would be helpful, I think it's more important than any kind of medicine as that's what vaccine do, to get rid of getting infected.
people who got sick can still be treated, in fact, we have a lot of people who were still able to recover after getting infected with the covid-19.

In the early weeks of the Covid-19 pandemic the fatality rate was up to 21% of those infected (Source: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ ) now that fatality rate is down to just 6% which is more the earlier case's statistics' dragging down the overall case numbers.  Subsequently, Doctors have been able to study cases and can see trends and patterns, more specialised care can be given which is keeping the fatality rates down.

...

Has anyone gone through and looked to see if the posts are one every fortnight?  If that's true then as a sold account a new user could just rank up by posting via the potential activity - a typical ploy that was around a few years ago.

People peddling in account sales would advertise that an account had "potential" activity.  One of our mods/admin even had a website where you could calculate said potential activity.

...

There are other instances I've seen where a user's rank has gone backwards after posts of theirs were deleted.

You know and I know that Op is lying, simple as that.

True.  But we're letting the OP know every aspect of their story just doesn't check out.

Btw a spot in a sig is not locked and you can lose it especially if you get a negative or see your account banned. Cry

I'm sure you're meaning the OP - like all scammers they'll get the message eventually.

Since I joined the SigCamp band wagons, my merit scores have gone up from ~50 per 120 days to ~100 merits per 100 days, I've picked up a sixth flag against me (feel free to support it or oppose it here).  With the bitcoin I've earned I've been able to open numerous lightning network channels via both Eclair and Zap Technologies while researching their usefulness - I have no idea what others are using their payments for...

The BTC 0.0071 I earned last week works out to be $ 66 US$ or in terms of Euros is € 58.00 - more than enough to feed the OP for ten days - each week.
3848  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: July 21, 2020, 12:02:07 PM
Next error I've found,

Dude, there were only six days left of being the 20th day in the 20th year.   You just wasted one...

 Tongue

Quite the contrary - I've been quite active out and about.  Check my posts over the last week, I've barely checked in to post a half dozen times.

Neither owner of the site will respond, so I'm flattered you've wasted your own Canadian 20/20 day to reply on their behalf.

My door is always open to anyone who wants to talk.
3849  Other / Meta / Re: This member has weird stats. on: July 21, 2020, 11:59:53 AM
It is what you meant: [SAD] I delete your account.

That looks to be the thread yes - it seems some people just want to leave the Forum and be "forgotten" just like the EU's laws that they (the EU) are enforcing.
3850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 21, 2020, 11:38:11 AM
in about 36 hours time in the Greater Melbourne City and the Mitchell Shires to the north east of Melbourne it will be mandatory for all persons to wear facemasks in public places so it'd be interesting what people would be expected to do at the Crown Casino Melbourne (or any banks for that matter) if they were open instead of in a six week lockdown (week two so far) due to a second wave of infections due to unacceptable security breaches of recent arrivals/persons in lockdown.

Las Vegas will be hit hard with a second and third waves of Covid-19 through a lack of social distancing as well as PPE (facemasks etc).  The USA is edging closer to 100,000 new cases per day.  It isn't a sustainable number - think in terms of critical mass.
3851  Other / Meta / Re: Hope that karma gets you on: July 21, 2020, 11:21:29 AM
The OP's car must be parked out in the suburbs to avoid any congestion taxes or inner city parking fees - then there's fuel (petrol or diesel) costs - not sure what the going rate of either in African Nations or continental Europe where the Euro is accepted.  Then there's recharging the cell phone/portable device.  Either a solar panel, or the car battery (which would mean burning fuel to recharge the phone).

Then as suchmoon and others have pointed out, this isn't a charity.  Joining a SigCamp will bring in some bitcoin and you have the minimum five merits in the last six months most require.
3852  Other / Meta / Re: This member has weird stats. on: July 21, 2020, 11:16:15 AM
Not sure what to make of all of this (other than my previous post in this thread) but I have seen a couple of users asking about ways to delete their accounts.  I do recall that shorena had a "service" where they would "clean" a UID - quite literally by deleting each and every post.  I'm not sure how shorena was able to delete any threads a user would start (unless they were a mod/had help from a mod) but that would be a sticking point for anyone wanting to self delete rather than be nuked.

As to sabotage, that would be a possibility if a connection were made to the recipients of the merits handed out recently.
3853  Other / Meta / Re: This member has weird stats. on: July 20, 2020, 10:37:48 PM
This is their last post after a few hours have passed:

BobLawblaw is showered with merits quite easily.

The very next post:

<merit dump>
Well that was unexpected and generous.
Thank you kindly, Bob. I will endeavor to pay forward to worthy posts.
Cheers and good luck.

Over the last few days they've given away quite a few of their earned merits:

which occurred *before* they changed their password:

BPIP still hasn't even picked up the email change has occurred:

https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?id=569455

Can't find it on seclog either:

https://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php?all

Try https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5249591.0

Conclusion:  UID hasn't changed hands.

Greetings and welcome to the forum.

I was just wondering if you have a clear website address, or is it just the onion one?
3856  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] 🔶 MyCryptoMixer.com - Mixing made simple! ✅ Mix BTC Instantly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ on: July 20, 2020, 12:12:11 PM
Hello,
As our service is growing in popularity there have been some cases of phishing sites appearing with our branding.
1. Our only domain is MyCryptoMixer.com and mymixerxtukle6mo.onion - If you are on another site you are being scammed
Make sure to download the Letter of Guarantee and verify it via PGP + check the domain you are on before sending any coins.

Current list of phishing sites:
mycryptomixer.app

You'd be better off adding this information to your OP where it'll be seen more readily be passing foot traffic.

Am sorry to hear the scammers have caught up with your site.
3857  Other / Meta / Re: Hope that karma gets you on: July 20, 2020, 12:07:13 PM
I probably should have checked this out first before I first replied:

Your last posts shows you came back on, posted once, then a week later posted again, then ten days after that are pulling this.  This is probably an alt you're prepared to burn for a quick exit scam.
3858  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2020 Q3) on: July 19, 2020, 11:12:30 PM
@Yoshi & @lovesmayfamilis

Can we possibly modify saying "breaking the company's bounty rules" to something slightly more clear as in "breaking the Signature Campaign/Bounty rules" or even "breaking the Forum's rules" when discussing banned alts rejoining the Forum to carry on where their previous alt left off?

Thanks.
3859  Other / Meta / Re: BTC 0.05 is the equivalent of € 400 on: July 19, 2020, 11:57:17 AM

No collateral, no loan. This isn’t a charity website.

Agreed.

At the time of writing BTC 0.05 is the equivalent of € 400 so...

The next day I almost fainted and collapsed on the streets, mostly due to heat but wouldn't happened while being fed.

Yesterday was day 4 without food and luckily someone at midnight saw me walk around and asked me what's wrong, you seem troubled ( me being unaware )

I said I've not eaten for 4 days and he gave 5€ ( bought 500g of chicken and 250g yoghurt) which I'm very grateful for because it saved the night and today.

My body couldn't retain heat while sleeping outside on day 3 and day 4 would of been a lot worse.

Food helps you retain body heat and much more than that.

Euro's are used in some African Nations as well as most European countries.  € 200 would buy you 20kg of Chicken and 10kg of yoghurt.  You'd still have € 200 for water, smokes and what else?  I'm curious if you're on the streets, then where's the money to repay coming from?  And, what else do you plan to spend the other € 200 on?

With your five merits earned, you could join a signature campaign and earn your bitcoins like the rest of us.
3860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting biggest winners. on: July 19, 2020, 11:15:44 AM
I like hearing about the ones where someone at the start of a government's term in power places a bet for or against them winning the next election.  Other similar ones are who will be the next Prime Minister, President, Governor etc.  Even baby names for Royals can pay out big (who'd've though "Archie" would be the name Harry & Meghan would choose for their child's name).
