I can't give away too much info right now about the next big stake update, I will say there are certainly games in the works. As far as that data, I can't share this at this time but I will say that Stake is bigger than Primedice, I'd comfortably say stake is the most popular crypto casino right now.

Thanks for that information. Very impressive statistics  Smiley

And we appreciate Member's feedback. Thank you once again.
3848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of gambling? Yes - it exists! on: October 04, 2018, 11:39:05 PM
Winning in gambling is not a benefit. Why can I tell? Well it is common for gamblers to hope that they will be winning the big prize whenever they gamble and if they do, it is obvious that they will be going back to gamble hoping to get more or get back to what they had lost in the past in which, they don't really get back because they are continuously losing.

Still you're controversial....

Winning in gambling is not a benefit. I can win in gambling and still benefit by leaving the Casino when i left with a positive profit...
3849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: October 04, 2018, 11:36:54 PM
It is good to play online games instead of gambling but the problem is that some people want to earn money in easy way and for that they always gamble but the results are always against their well. Online gambling is just a waste of time and money because I have never seen that till date I never heard that anybody won big money in online gambling.

Just by playing online games you won't be winning anything, unless you get some goodies to trade to someone else inside that specific game.
3850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes enough is enough on: October 04, 2018, 11:31:24 PM
When you go gambling, only bring enough money with you. Bring only those that you plan to play. Leave those plastic ATM cards at home to avoid temptation of withdrawing from machines and if online make sure its out of reach. Also leave those credit cards too, sometimes we are tempted to use the cash advance function.
It is good idea to limit yourself, but the best thing is being able to control yourself during the gambling.

Well if you just want to show off i wouldnt try as much as he explained at his topic.

Just because his friends going to some Casino doesnt mean he needs to forcefully start betting like crazy.
3851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest lost you have made as gambler? on: October 04, 2018, 11:29:55 PM
One of my friends has just lost $10,000 in football gambling and I have been trying to encourage him.  I will like to find out how much you have lose in gambling and how did you manage the loses. I know many has makes some profits from gambling and some has lost significant amounts of money as this market is a very risky one.

That amount is nothing to sneeze at but I know gamblers that have lost millions.  The gambling industry generates billions in profits each year so that 10k is a drop in the bucket.  I recently watched a youtube video about the biggest gambling losses and the amounts some of these whales lose like it's nothing makes me feel like a complete beginner.

I prefer to focus on my biggest wins instead of my biggest losses Smiley
I think, the idea that to focus on biggest wins could cause big losses. You could lose more while you'r trying to reach big amounts.

Ye that's what being addicted to cover up your mistakes means.

Just learn from your mistakes and you will be fine.
3852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break from gambling on: October 04, 2018, 11:27:10 PM
Same with mine too.I do take a break especially when i felt that i am overspending my time and money to some casinos which is not supposed to happen.I just make quality time with my family and friends since i have not been physically present in some of the family activities because i was focused more in gambling.

Well that was odd Cheesy

I guess that's what i would call being addicted to it =/
3853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: October 04, 2018, 09:54:41 PM
I was just thinking how much time people spend on gambling sites on a daily basis? I bounce back and forth between work

and household activities, but in my spare time, I like to chill with a beer in hand and doing some casual gambling. I do this

while watching TV, so it is part of my entertainment time.  Wink  Do you think, time spend on gambling is linked to gambling

addiction? Let's discuss this.  Wink

Edit : If you spend less than 1 hour on gambling, please chose option 1.  Wink

Based on my experience, I only soend 1 to 2 hrs of playing time in gambling because I believe that gambling isn't the best way to earn profit. Yes, it gives us earnings but ofcourse it also take it back when we lose. Gambling is a good tool for past time and killing time only. But ofcourse, make sure that you didn't abusing it.

That's not real an answer why u just play 1 or 2 hours. I believe it's because you lose in your long run and you dont find a better strategy to not bust Smiley
3854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: October 04, 2018, 09:50:34 PM
The chances of winning in a lottery is very low. The more numbers you need to pick means lower chance of winning. In sports betting you have higher chance of winning, there's even odds that can help you pick which team to place your bet and which one has a higher chance of winning. I would rather place a bet on sports betting than lottery.
So do I, the chances of winning is low not only in lottery but also the other casino games, especially luck based games, that's why I generally prefer sports betting, because you have some information about that, it is not about pure luck.

And Sport Casinos have their own odds against some specific teams.

In which you have a more stronger feedback in terms of your bets fate.

Off course it would not been possible according with those facts.
3856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: October 04, 2018, 09:47:55 PM
I don't think age has any effect on gambling addiction. Personally, I have an opinion that, people who have more free time are prone to gambling addiction. They just start playing for fun and eventually finds difficult to get rid of it.

P.S: Don't post for merits. Do contribute more meaningful contents and the merit will follow.
I think it is because of the online gambling. Young people use smart phones in the streets, shopping malls, schools and colleges and their houses they use both, cell phone and computer. It means that now they can gamble from anywhere. No time limit, no certain place, 24 hours and everywhere. This is the main reason that young people are addicting of gambling.
I agree on you. With online gambling, young people are very free to gamble even how many hours they will play for it.As long as they have their own money to gamble, then they will not stop from gambling.Addiction will really develop afterwards knowing that you can't hardly get rid already from gambling.
It could be related to accessibility of online gambling, they can gamble wherever/whenever they want and also young people's money generally come from their parents, they don't know the value of money.

Also agree, specially a more sort of staying outside home for parents not to know about it as you say
3857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: October 04, 2018, 09:46:39 PM
Well i think both for loneliness and dissatisfaction is due to some specific time events.

Not always but mostly if you lose hard and want to try getting those greens again.
3858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: October 04, 2018, 09:45:36 PM
Defeat, it has become part of the gambling game. I think all gamblers have experienced it. For me personally I have never walked shy about my defeat, because I know this is the risk of gambling.

Well but you walk shamelly even when Playing home? Cheesy
Or just if outside with some friends?
3859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: October 04, 2018, 09:44:14 PM
I gamble most of the times from Home PC, im not a big fan of playing at some Portable device, doesn't feel ok / safe to me.

Either way is good to have such ways.
I can gamble at any device because I don't usually play a lot of time in a day, not a poker player or a dice player, what I love
is sports betting. The trick I learn in sports betting in order to win is betting based on quality not on quantity, it's what they called, looking for value.

And by that you mean? Strategy? Specific Bet types or?
If you are a sports bettor you will see a lot of games available for the day, but you just need to choose only few games or 1 game is better
in order for you to analyze the game carefully, you will have a better chance if you put your passion in sports and you are good in managing your emotion as well.

I see and agree with you in every aspect. That's how these games should be taken in first place
3860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: October 04, 2018, 09:41:29 PM
Convincing people in a gambling place is not probably wrong, but a surely too it is not good. Because you're making a wrong move to a put your own self into a things that people have there own decisions to make than to convinced them.

Only way is let your friends know some worst experiences about people how they have lost everything if they continue gambling for winning the money and not playing and enjoying the best of the times from it. This might help them the seriousness of the cause and they may not be gambling that frequently if they understood it.
Letting know them about bad experiences is okay but they are adults and probably they can decide what is good what is not for themselves. I think, we should avoid talking about gambling with a person who has a potential about being a gambling addicted.

Or we simply help him out as well.
We should be able (us more experienced ones) guide new ones to gambling and in a way they do not start getting addicted even when it's not their destinys (to become gamblers).
