Hey traders, we are all familiar with the spot market and to some extend the futures market with BitMEX and Binance Futures. Out of curiosity, do anyone here trade actively in the Options market? There are a couple of exchanges offering options, the popular ones are Deribit, FTX, and Sparrow. Options are basically those PUTS and CALLS that you can use to hedge your exposure to crypto. Some traders also use it for speculative purposes. For those of you who are unfamiliar with options, we also have a guide on How to trade Crypto Options in collaboration with FTX. I didn't use this option trade. Because I know how much risk lies behind it. I traded binary option for a few years. And the experience I've had is so bad. option trading is like gambling. It's hard to win here. But if you have good knowledge about trading and money management then maybe you can take profit here. So it is for those who are experienced in trading and can control emotions.

What happened: Recently many telegram channels that share airdrop referrals from gramfree even almost every group I follow must have shared those airdrops, is the airdrop legitimate or scam I have searched for information on google but have not found in detail even the gramfree social media did not there.
lot of scammers are trying to scam using telegram names. I have already expose many fake telegram ico websites. It is a scammer group that runs this scamming mission together. There is currently no telegram ico and airdrop running. So newbies beware of like these websites.

Hey I have noticed a few projects that developed a deflation system for their coins/tokens called burning. They burn their tokens on a special occasion or simply when someone pays their product with the native token. They burn few percent of the price. What do you think about this? Imo, if people actually buy the produc then it can really reflect the price of a coin? Let me know what you think.
Reduce supply and increase demand through token burning. However, this does not apply to all projects. There are huge quantities of coins / tokens, there are some serious projects that have the potential to increase the market price if token burn. And the rest of the useless projects want to create hype in the market by burning their unsold token.

Last week the United kingdom's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued a warning that the coronavirus out real might be providing criminals with the opportunity to swindle investors out of their crypto assets, you've been warned
Scammers are sophisticated, opportunistic and will surely try many things.
Do not trust any one or organization asking for donations to combat the outbreak, it's not real
Scammers always want to exploit opportunities. The current situation is that people in the world are scared and people want to help each other. And scammers are taking advantage of this opportunity to make money. If we think of the ico scam then we can understand how scammers are scamming innocent people. Now the days of ico are over so scammers are waiting for new opportunities.

It seems many scammers are now aware that people run away from too good to be real investment plans nowadays, now they are ready to give fair percentages too just like legit projects
It came to my attention today that many Nigerians fall victim to a crypto fund company in Nigeria where thy are promised 2% daily and 14% weekly, according to my source she never knew the offer was scam because the offer was fair enough, she made a big mistake to have invest a whooping thousand and half dollar in the project, to me this sounds like another MMM stuff but the returns are really fair, well there you have it, this is enough to confuse those who thinks fair returns means project is legit, you are damn wrong
How do they give 2% Daily Return? What is their earning source? If they return 2% Daily then annual return is 730%! Now you judge how this is possible. This is a ponzi. No large company can provide such returns. The legit company will never promise to give such a big return. They might pay 2% a year.

Please be careful with this and similar fake sites. We ask you to be very cautious with sending the funds to sources you are not confident about. Also, be kindly notified that CEX.IO is in no way related to 'Bitcomion'.
We are already being taken the necessary actions to report it.
Thanks for your quick response. I hope you take action against the scammers. In the future, scammers should not use your template to mislead people. If I find more websites like this, of course I will post on Bitcointalk. Keep eye on Scam accusations board for more fake website like this.

And also you forgot to add the activity status of the exchange, most likely it shows fake numbers of total active users and trade orders which was copied from other exchange's data or completely some randoms shits.
These fake exchanges do not have any trading terminal. If you click on the trading options of their website, they will bring back you home again. Only registration options work on their website. If you register on their website, you will get the deposit address. You have to give the address back to the scammer, he will transfer the fake funds to your account! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

By creating fake exchanges, scamming people is a known tactic of scammers. We have seen many fake websites before and now. It is actually that scammers use human greed. Where people see little profit, they jump there without any proper verification. They lost their money and realized that it was a scam website. I will try to discuss how these scam websites are promoted by scammers. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2FWFhhcwN%2Fdownload-1.jpg&t=663&c=jndzALsuXCRhKw) These websites often use Telegram to promote. If you are in the Telegram group of a major exchange, and are an active member on the group. So here is 90% chance you will get private message from scammer. Scammers will politely chat with you. He would say it as if you really believed he was in trouble. He will offer you a good amount of money, if you help him. This is a trap. He'll say you create an account on this exchange. I am transferring funds from my account. He will transfer some fake funds to your account. Whenever you go for withdraw, they will ask you to deposit 0.02 BTC for verification. If you asked the scammer about this deposit, he will tell you to deposit and verify, then I will give you more money if you success! If you deposit any fund will never get your money back. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2F6YQbcSX%2Ffake-ex.png&t=663&c=mNbZZzWuaVwQfQ) Most fake exchanges use the template of CEX.io most of the time. This is one of their most used techniques. If you find a link to such a website, then it is 100% scam website (except CEX.io). I have already posted on Bitcointalk many time about such scam website. You can check.[SCAM Alert] Briefcrypt.com offer 0.8 BTC . Beware...... [SCAM Alert] Bitani.org scam exchange.... [SCAM Alert] Bitcomion.com scam exchange.

They are still active. They have been promoting this scam in various popular tweets. Where more and more people respond. Telegram has no official ico ongoing. So beware of such scams. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2FNYDLDBC%2F20200321-155139.jpg&t=663&c=_Wh4v-KQzdb6Ig)

No coins are safe heaven. However, if you buy top coins, your losses will be slightly lower if the market goes bad. I would say it would be good to buy eth now. It is cheap now. When the market starts to recover, of course eth will recover also. I kept my BTC and eth hold. I think now Trading is risky.

People have learned from their past mistakes. This is because such influencer has been cheating investors by promoting various scam ICO's. Now people don't trust them anymore. Their words do not affect the market. So no one will listen to them anymore. People are smart enough now, they know where to invest.

I think I just got scammed as well by Bituary. If there is a Bituary mediator on here, I would greatly appreciate your help. I put USDT and ETH into my bituary account and then I got locked out. I tried the forgot password process and it tells me that my email doesn't exist? What happened, I really need to get my money back.
You provide your proofs here. Which will be easy for everyone to understand. How you became a scam victim on this exchange. Why they locked your account? If you have any conversation with them, please post a screenshot here. Without proof, no one will take action.

The market have withstood a lot in the past but what is happening right now is something unexpected, because of this the market crashed by over 50% do you think the market can recover if this scenario worsen and last for several months, what could be the possible solution here in the market.
Yes. The market will recover in the coming months. If we think about 2018 then we can understand how long it takes to recover the market. The dump of 2018 was larger than the previous market dump. So no need to be too panic here. From now on, the preparations for the next market up.

It's a great time to enter the crypto market. When everyone is panic selling whales buying more. But many do not understand what is happening in the market. Many people are trying to find the bottom, but they not able to find real bottom. Market will go up again and they will buy again at the top. The market does not always offer opportunities. You have to use the right time opportunities.

I like long-term investments. Because I don't have good trading knowledge. Many times I lost my fund by Swing and day trade. Long-term investment will relieve you of a stressful life. Because swing and trade is very stressful work. All day you have to sit in front of the pc. I tried and did not get good results so now I am looking for long term investment.

After recent dump is it still safe to hodl on to our existing bitcoin or convert it to USDT? I have just converted my bitcoin into USDT and I will be monitoring the market closely with multiple reminders to buy back when the value starts increasing so that I don't use my existing balance and eventually buyback more than I have right now? How many of you agree with my idea? Kindly share your suggestions.
It all depends on you, how do you feel safe. If you have good knowledge of trading you can convert. However, I prefer to HODL. Because now the market situation very confusing no one know how to react market in the coming days. So holding on at this time seems to be a good option.
