Updated list to include FSC (fusioncoin):

To help other p2pool ops that may be interested in sharing their merged mining income, I have dedicated addresses you can send to that I'll then convert to BTC and feed back into the pool:

DVC: 1f56VqR9ajX3K42qSaDezvKXFmruSDg1B
IXC: xaNQ54gxowcwHyxqGtFM4vwCfS84V6fmKF
NMC: N1XhWNmvGhFL145zmQGQv7Vug6mThNh1iQ
I0C: jMDtRnMAk2WxaoAw8HUceMaxPPqAuZ8AEN
FSC: Fjhv8Sk8iC7AF76CTJbKo1zkHLUbTTTBs2

(I haven't given up on this yet... despite the fact that it doesn't seem be going anywhere.)

M

I checked out some of the exchanges and there's pretty much no activity on any of them for FSC.  Not sure if you even could convert to BTC.  I've currently got 139,000 FSC (well, that is the balance in my wallet, not all of it's confirmed yet) that I can send if you want to combine them with whatever you've got.

I've got about 100,000 or so here.  I'll keep them stashed away until/if the day comes they have some value.

M

Just fired 150,000 over to your donation address.  Transaction ID: 6351b47af29579dcbdac7fc8a7d042534a9ddde1684a87e4b99f08088595b4f6

Holy crap!  My node is reporting a total hash rate of the p2pool network of just over 1PH/s!

Anybody besides me actually merge-mining FSC on their node?  I've found 102 blocks in the past 24 hours... lol.  Pretty sure that coin is dead in the water.

Despite that difficulty seems to be dropping.

M

Yeah... if the block explorer is to be believed, I am currently about 20% of the entire hashing rate of the network.  135 blocks so far now... it sure is nice to see at least one of my coin wallets with a significant balance, even if it doesn't mean anything Smiley

jpass022, have you worked with the SP-Tech guys to tweak your settings?  I don't know enough about the settings to recommend something to you.  I used the settings that Zvi put on the tech blog on spondoolies site and played around to get where I am now.  By increasing my max voltage to 0.75 - which I did after sending that initial screenshot, I am now getting about 1.34TH/s, so a bit of an increase there.

As you can see, I'm still playing around with settings to try to find the best values for my setup Smiley

I'm running 3 OC to 200GH/s off of a AX1200i, It's weird how they only pull 1180 total. More than enough room on that one.

393 each... pretty close to 400.  Man, you guys running your PSUs full out at damn-near 100% capacity are braver than I am Smiley.  Although, I'd trust that AX1200i to handle it better than I would the CX750.  That 1200i is really nice.

There's a thread for mupool.com here already: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483856.0

Pool is run by a member named scratchy (at least according to his signature in the posts in that thread).
3848  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 2 S1 180 GH/s with 1 Corsair CX750M or 2 S1 OC 200 GH/s with 2 Corsair CX750M? on: June 03, 2014, 08:50:01 PM
You're not going to get 2 S1s running on a CX750.  Doesn't matter if they're overclocked or stock.  You'll need to either get a better PSU if you want to run both S1s off the same power, or a similar PSU and use one on each.

In other words, no matter which you choose, you're going to need another PSU Smiley

Yeah u are right:

http://cryptomining-blog.com/1027-how-much-power-does-the-bitmain-antminer-s1-asic-use/

looks like it consumes around 407W without OC, so yeah... i must buy another Corsair. Ok thx!

Thats 407 at the wall not the device. The antminer uses 360 watts OCd so 720W for 2 OCd. At the wall your PSU could be anywhere from 800 to 900 but it is still under the rated value of 750. The 720W the antminer uses doesn't change just the efficiency of the PSU. Test it for yourself and you will see it works fine.

S1 is rated to consume 360W stock, not over-clocked.  It's a 2W/GH/s power rating... so over-clocked it's 800W for 2.

I ran mine with 120V and 15A plugins for a week while I was waiting for my 208V 30A plugins installed.. not much changed since I plugged them in to the 208.
My first machine gets close to 1.32TH/s while my second machine has been near 1.18TH/s with slight jumps into the 1.2's every once in awhile.

What are you guys' settings that are getting close to 1.4TH/s? I'm usually running about 30 degrees in the front so I'm fine losing a little bit of hash power.. but the 1.18 could definitely use some tweaking.

Here are the settings I use:

Gets me solid 1.32TH/s at 22C/75C

I tried assigning a reservation at the router for my sp10 ip address but when it resets it still gets a new ip address for the sp10.  Is there a reason the saved button doesn't work on the UI.  Thanks.

Please let us know what happens. I have to statically configure a couple SP10's tomorrow for someone and would need that function to work.
Thanks.

Also, what is the default root password when logging in with an SSH client? I know the webUI you use admin/admin but I may need to log into the shell.

Congrats on selling out of the SP10's. I was a too slow on the draw! Smiley

ssh is root/root

Why not assign the IP based on MAC address?

That's a very cool little setup you've created.
3853  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio - Shipping from stock on: June 03, 2014, 02:24:53 PM
So a lot of people are asking about the noise of the SP10.

I made a quick video of SP10 doing its magic. That's bitcoin sound you are listening to:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__crNsd7GEM

It's not that bad if you're not running full out Smiley.  I have mine running in my basement with fans at 50%, getting ~1.34 TH/s (120V power here, so that's the best hashing rate I've been able to achieve).  It's still loud, but not the screaming banshee it was on "turbo" mode.

EDIT:

All in stock SP10 were ordered.
Next production run is mid June.

If there will be cancellation or non paying, we'll open "immediate delivery" stock.
Congratulations on your success!  I'm very satisfied with my SP-10, and am looking forward to great new innovations from you in the future (SP-15, SP-30, and perhaps the next-generation SP-50 - a 10TH/s beast on 20nm chips with the same power draw as the SP-30)

EDIT: The SP-50 is a fictitious product that I have made up (but hope sees the light of day) and in no way represents Spondoolies-Tech product pipeline Smiley

Congrats SP-Tech!

Jonnybravo0311 there won't be an SP-15 I'm afraid. It seems that people aren't interested in small miners anymore. As for the SP50 I expect at least 4x more hashrate than the SP30 and at least same power as SP30. The hashrate jump would equal the one from SP10 to SP30.

Yeah... that's too bad.  I got back from Tokyo, saw your group buy and thought, "OK... I just purchased the SP-10, let's scrape together the funds for the SP-15... let's see how this buy progresses and I'll jump on it in a day or so."  Unfortunately as of this morning, there's still exactly 1 confirmation, so I'm pretty confident you won't hit that 400 mark.  Guess I'll just have to either a) install some decent power at my house or b) think about hosting options in September.

A 4x increase in hash rate from the SP-30... 24TH/s at the same power draw?  Now that WOULD be a miracle... I'll take two please Smiley

3855  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: bitcoind on separate server to p2pool on: June 03, 2014, 02:04:46 PM
Good idea, i guess the *coind wallets are only there to getwork from the network. Makes it simpler than creating separate VM's for each.

Are you planning to merge mine with BTC?  If you are, then those wallets would all be on the server as well, and there is no option to not send coins to them.  Assuming you're setting up multiple coins/p2pool nodes, then you can start each like this:

./run_p2pool.py -a SOMEWALLETADDRESS ...

Where SOMEWALLETADDRESS is a wallet that lives somewhere else.

However, if you are merge-mining NMC, IXC, etc with your BTC p2pool, then the payouts for each of those coins would go directly into the server's wallet.  There is no option to make payouts to other locations.

You could probably write a simple script to periodically check the balance of those wallets, and transfer funds to an off-server wallet.

Tumbleweeds, where are the blocks?

I'd be interested still in updating my copy of p2pool stats. If anyone could assist with updating the db so it is useful it'd be much appreciated.

3858  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio - Shipping from stock on: June 03, 2014, 12:32:41 AM
How many watts do you pull with that config? May batch?

Well, if the stats aren't lying it's 1100 watts.  Late May purchase through RoadStress' group buy.  Running it on the default "low" settings, I get about 1.23TH/s at about 900W.  So, I effectively gained about 90GH/s for 200 watts - which is why I'm asking if there are some better ways to tweak things.  I'm hoping to pull about 1.4 - 1.45TH/s at 1100 watts.
3859  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio - Shipping from stock on: June 02, 2014, 10:39:58 PM
Thank you!

No problem.  By the way, with those voltage settings, I'm getting 1.23TH/s steady for the past 24 hours.  The ASIC Stats page shows it's using 929 watts.  Temps are 21 in front and 71 in back.  Oh, and it doesn't sound like I've got a small jet trying to take off in my basement now, either.  So, I lose about 100GH/s from the "turbo" settings, but I gain not having the little lady complaining about that damn thing screeching like a banshee.

You can turn up the voltage a little-bit and aim at ~80C at the back. 71 in the back is cold Smiley
(still on holiday)
Thanks for the advice!  I'll try playing around with the voltages to see if I can get things to warm up a bit Smiley  I took a look at your over clocking guide for the "slow corner" and have entered those values... let's see where that brings it.

Doing anything fun for your well-deserved holiday?

So I played around some with the voltages and ended up with the following:

Start voltage: 0.66
Max voltage: 0.73
Max Power: 1260
DC2DC Current Limit: 63
Fan: 40

This gets me:

Temp front - 23
Temp rear - 79
AC2DC power - 1100
Hash rate - 1.32 TH/s

Are there any other suggestions for possibly squeezing some more hashing out of this rig?  I know there's more room, but am I running into the power constraints of my 120V/15A circuit?  Technically, that circuit can provide 1440 watts continuously, so I could potentially get another 300 watts out of it.

Any suggestions on what to further tweak?
3860  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Question re USB hubs and mining on: June 02, 2014, 07:47:54 PM
I'm going to start off by saying that I *know* a dedicated rig would be better than the solution I am trying to cobble together. Believe me, I would much rather have a couple of gridseeds or a titan or any of the other powerhouse rigs that are coming out. I can't afford one right now and with Bitcoin values rising and altcoins coming out of the woodwork every day, it isn't profitable to rent rigs anymore (if it ever even was to begin with!).

It's my birthday today (go me!) and my husband has asked me what I want. I don't want flowers or candy or clothes or jewelry. I want MOAR HASHING POWER.

My question is this - if I were to buy several of the 4 - 6 GHs USB ASIC miners, how would I "chain" them together so that they would all mine the same coin @ the same pool?

I would need a USB hub, right? Could I just tell the husband to head on down to our local Best Buy and pick up any old hub or does it have to have specific features?

Any advice would be appreciated Smiley

Thanks in advance,

Cynthia

Tell that husband of yours to pick you up a nice S1 Smiley.  Those 4 - 6 GH/s USB miners are power hungry and typically go well above spec for USB2.0 and even USB3.0.  If you're really stuck on stick mining, you can grab some Antminer U2s for about $10 each.  Throw 5 of them into a powered USB hub and hash away.  And yes, you can pick up a powered USB hub at your local Best Buy.

Happy birthday, by the way!
