It may be a strange question, but who can see that badge? I'm asking this because I don't see anything shown in the @mprep profile, and I see that @twiki posted a sample screen that clearly shows a blue star under @mprep name.

You also had a badge under your name. I make ss for you with a hint  Wink

3842  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Santacoin.io didn't pay the bounty hunters! on: February 01, 2022, 04:23:29 PM
How much money did the investors gain from this campaign? and how is the project progress  ?
If they got a zero cents through their campaign then this logic seems reasonable but if they have gained some money because of the hard work of the remaining honest participants, they should have reward the serious bounty hunters.
I am not on the side of the investors and I have never communicated with the investors and also I have not researched about the project. I have given my opinion base on the post and the post of the alt account. Investors my collect fund by others way too, so it will be difficult to know either the campaign was successful or not. But they may say the issue of the alt account. I never think there was no positive result. There must have positive result for the campaign.

I was part of the campaign and I thought this one even though paying in alt will respect the participants as it is handled by reputable manager in the forum. However, this is a testament that even the BM has no clue if the dev team will respect the agreements or not. We have no idea if they collected funds for this project. But I already have the feeling that this may possibly fall to crap token because of weak foundation. In the end, it is indeed the bounty hunter's choice to accept all the terms as presented by the campaign.

Well, certainly a bad thing if the team refuses to pay for something they promised. if they were already dissatisfied they should have stopped the bounty program immediately.

But let, to be honest, how much bounty hunters really help the project? by that, I mean to introduce the already well-established method for bounty campaigns. here I am now going into that thread and randomly looking at a few reports. and what I find for example

short post quote (plus they added some hashtags, probably defined by campaign manager and campaign rules)
Quote
Wonderful project. This project is top listed. This project is perfect from every angle. I recommend you to see their announcement and work.
Quote
I think there is a demand, draft want growth. Immediately seen a cool project, a tough team that knows what to do for the success of the company!
Quote
The project has a clear development plan, An experienced team does everything to make the project the best.

or following their #santa_coin hashtag https://twitter.com/hashtag/santa_coin?src=hashtag_click

So, can anyone say this is a promotion worth paying for? This is pure spam.
I personally have at least 3000 such posts reported to the moderator here on Bitcointalk forum and all of them are deleted.
3843  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for ways to monetize my crypto traffic on: February 01, 2022, 03:50:59 PM
Affiliate links and referrals to other crypto sites would probably earn a decent amount so long as people are clicking on them.

This is right, Affiliate links are a great option to monetize the site, they could be casinos links or exchange links. And if you design some nice banners that will be the right way to get those clicks.

it is questionable how effective it is to promote a casino on a faucet page. Even nice banner design, faucet visitors come there just to claim and move on, probably they visit a lot of the same faucet in the row.
He needs some pay per impression program.
3844  Economy / Services / Re: Crypto Tokens as a share reward of Affiliate Networking Market on: February 01, 2022, 03:46:52 PM
whenever I see a promotion of MLM business, the first thing I think of is that it's a pyramid scam. now you are here offering each user to create their own pyramid scheme in just a few clicks. nice.

why I can't see anywhere on the site who is behind them? Anything about team members, company or whatever? The support page is blank... everything looks like another shady business. Unfortunately, even sounds like an idea with solid potential.
3845  Economy / Reputation / Re: abuse of trust Bounty Manager joeperry on: February 01, 2022, 10:16:15 AM
If plagiarism of medium articles is not allowed, then why would you go ahead and do it.
only 1 time i made that mistake bro #!@#1>,

I will understand this as admitting that you plagiarized. here ends every story of your innocence in this case.

Unfortunately I didn't ask the participants to report on the forum and only asked them to fill up the google form to submit their article/s. But that was a good idea to ask them to report their article in the forum.

No, you actually did a great work choosing not to post weekly reports on the forum but in a google spreadsheet, more campaign managers should follow this approach. This takes off the slack of the forum traffic and it's less likely to create "Legendarily newbies" like those.
I just added you to my trust list Smiley

many managers present themselves as anti-spam fighters and then set such a rule like weekly reports on the bounty thread. thus they themselves are responsible for generating spam. i'm even very suspicious that most even check all links on report to validate it.

btw. nice work joeperry
3846  Other / Archival / Re: Should the link to the source be visible or should it be present? on: February 01, 2022, 09:46:30 AM
I guess number 3 is the hardest to decide but yes this is plagiarism. I saw a couple of such posts on the forum, I guess it's a smart way to avoid the ban. There is no clear citation of sources and this type of writing is used in paid posts to create a backlink.
the context in which the quoted text is cited is also important. if it is presented as one's own opinion, then it is definitely for a penalty while if it is clearly indicated as an example or representation of a different opinion, then it could be considered acceptable.
3847  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Crypto to fiat withdrawal on: January 31, 2022, 12:52:17 PM
This sounds like dropshipping business, or maybe I'm wrong. with every buy/sell transaction, you have to use a payment gateway but I doubt any of them have the option of transferring funds from one trade to two different receivers.
maybe you should consider a system like escrow service, where you will be an escrow and hold 10% of each transaction

Yeah it operates like dropshipping business, exactly

conversion Bitcoin to fiat can be a very tangible thing for a dropshipping business.
just as a suggestion, maybe check on Best_Change (I wear their signature), there you will find a lot of verified exchangers which provide BTC-fiat exchange on different payment processors. Also, many of them have API to implement it on your website.
Or ask them through his ANN thread or PM to help with the choice.

Why not Royse777?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5328445.0
You'll be satisfied!  Wink

I don't think he expressed himself well in the subject. they are looking for a community manager who will essentially be part of the team. Handling discussion over their media channels like discord, tw, FB...
Royse777 is fine but as I know he does running bounty campaigns. or maybe I'm wrong.
3849  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Nasterxchange 26000 euro on: January 31, 2022, 11:15:42 AM
OP sent funds to this account knowingly or unknowingly that it is Naster partner account which means Naster is fully responsible for the funds. There is no way to chargeback these funds. (At least if it was in € and SEPA bank transfer)

I understand. But, since Naster Claims that the fund wasn't released from OP's bank. OP can provide proof that the fund was released. I know that the bank will never keep the funds. Either they will ask for some proof from the receiver or they will return the fund where it comes from.

I know Naster is lying, but, I guess this is the only way to prove that the OP has released the fund from his bank. Also, OP can ask his bank to make sure if the fund was released or not. I guess he already did. But, I am saying in case he didn't.

I think I've seen it on several occasions he confirms this scenario and promises to pay the disputed amount partially, ie from his earnings in future transactions. Naster confirms that on the aspkin.com forum (forum admin verify) also their discussion on the telegram.
he never even tried to dispute, but only complained that it was not his fault for the disappearance of money.

it is still unclear to me. whether that money went to a regular and legal bank? if everything is legal, that shouldn't be a problem to ask for a refund from the bank.
Also, is it legal or illegal money?
3850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: January 30, 2022, 10:47:28 PM
Manchester United have made a statement: "Mason Greenwood will not return to training or play matches until further notice" and they said they will not comment further while police investigations are pending but they "do not condone violence of any kind"

Greenwood was valued at £104 million in November by ranking which made him the 5th valuable young player in the world. He was also second on the list of most valuable teenagers (he was 19 at the time).

I can't believe that he is such an idiot. If this is true, Mason is probably finished his career as a professional football player and has enormous talent.
things like this happen when you give people a salary of 100k per week, especially a 19-year-old kid.
what a loss for the club, they haven't player even they have invested so much in it. I see on the social networks that he has already aroused the anger of the public and it will be very difficult for him to play again.
I just loved that guy, really disappointing.
3851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 30, 2022, 10:07:51 PM
I'm really looking forward to see Djoko get in he next GS

Well... potentially more drama to come. I believe France are cracking down on the unvaccinated, they said a couple of weeks ago that "all athletes have to be vaccinated"... so unless that changes, in a few months' time we could be watching Rafa win his 22nd (22nd Slam I mean, not 22nd French open... although he's not far off!).

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2022/jan/17/djokovics-french-open-title-defence-in-doubt-over-covid-pass-ruling

it would practically mean that he gives up tennis.
I really don't believe he's Djokovic going to throw away his great career because he does not want to be vaccinated. Wimbledon will certainly not be able to play without the vaccine there the rules are even more rigorous and clear. US open probably will do the same rule.

3853  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for ways to monetize my crypto traffic on: January 30, 2022, 09:19:33 PM
I saw you use only Bitmedia ads network. have you tried with anyone else? Also are you limited with crypto ads networks or you are eligible to work with fiat only related? I would try with some more ad networks. Bitmedia is okay, but they are not the most generous payers (based on my experience a few years ago, maybe is now changed). Also, it's questionable how are attractive their advertiser, and whether they can attract clicks.
have you thought to sell ad space directly? Present some of your traffic data you may find someone who wants to place an ad on your site.
If you have solid daily unique traffic, don't forget about affiliate and referral programs. have you tried to collect referrals on another faucet by promoting them on your site?

Don't forget, faucet traffic quality is at a low level. You can't expect a high conversion rate, but constantly and persistently, you can get the result. also, don't overload the page with ads. you will get a counter effect.
3854  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal about transferring accounts (username change) on: January 30, 2022, 09:03:31 PM
Would you like to be able to request an account transfer by paying the margin and registering an account in advance with the desired name?

Main provisions:

1. The transfer of accounts is carried out by exchanging the names of two accounts with each other.
2. Passwords, ID and message history, feedback are not transferred.

this seems to me like reputation laundering. even if there were a registry that would handle all username changes, this would complicate the checking of each user before the trade. which can only cause more fraud on the forum. Even many new users ignore checking reputation history before making any trade.

4. You can reserve and use the name of someone else's account if it has not been active for many years and is a new account with no post history.

yes, this could be cleaning inactive users/usernames. a couple of times I did some username search I found many of them were never used after the registration time. there could probably be cleaning up one year old or more and never active accounts.
3855  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance & Nigerian; Most recent development on frozen funds without prior notice on: January 30, 2022, 02:42:38 PM
I am not sure about  Nigeria vs. Binance case, but I remember two years ago my country is also suspended on Binance and Kucoin due to some government law and potential economic sanctions against my country. it lasted a couple of months and in that time I had full access to my funds on Binance but only what I can do is withdraw it from there.
it is also interesting when I provided the document which corrects the error and where certain prohibitions against my state are lifted, they unsuspend my account till the next 24h. (The same thing happened with Kucoin.)
3856  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Alert phishing website www.bitz-global.com on: January 29, 2022, 04:38:09 PM
Scam website, fake trading
You have created a scam accusation but you have not posted any proof and you have provided no information. If you do not know how to create a scam accusation then you may follow this format. You should atleast tell why you think the site is scam and also provide some information about the scam.

This is his third topic about the same thing and bitz-global.com scam. He lost a lot of money on there, it is obvious that it is so painful for him and he finds it difficult to accept the factual situation. this is understandable, but it is slowly becoming tedious because we open the same discussion in different places at the same time there are no changes in the case itself.
it reminds me of divorced people who want to talk about a failed marriage.

OP you really need to move on. You learned a lesson, an expensive lesson but life is going on. Forget about it, in the end, it's your fault for a good part you sent a huge amount of money to unknown and suspicious people without any research.
Sorry but that is true.
3857  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Nasterxchange 26000 euro on: January 28, 2022, 08:21:25 PM
I am not able to post on his thread, but i badly want to post on his sales thread, there is no option for me to post there, (may be because i am new on this forum?)

or can someone pls post on his thread about how he scammed me? with a link to my thread, I have left all evidence here.

No one can write in that thread because OP (Naster) locked it. You can see the lock icon at the top of the thread
that's probably because they didn't want unwanted comments in his thread that can derail his business.

If you are scammed, you can create flag 3 on his profile, so you will mark the whole thread with a red warning.
Also, don't forget to post a flag link on here to get support.

My Vote  Smiley [...]
Guys, your votes will not be counted. Please make sure you read the contest rules!

I don't care about the Prize,it's only my voice and Nothing more. But if this becomes a problem, then I'm happy to withdraw my vote. That is all and thank you Smiley
Look at this?
Is there something wrong with my vote?

Well, the initiator of the action icopress he set certain rules, among others that only active members and those with higher rank can vote. there are certain reasons and I would not go into details now.
To be clear, this is not official Bitcointalk yearly awards, and if the initiator of the action ignored the rules why then do they exist?
So, your vote is not deleted because you were rude, you just didn’t have enough activity.

3860  Economy / Reputation / Re: Abuse of rank in Bitcointalk from TwitchySeal and Sportsbet.io on: January 28, 2022, 11:05:51 AM
the only clue i find he might have a reason to attack me is he works for Sportsbet.io and maybe i supported a memeber here who have a problem with sportbet.io before thats why he tries to abuse his rank .

i will wait this user TwitchySeal or Sportbet.io to bring a proof of his accusasion against me  untill then i believe he is a spammer and he use his rank to abuse others and maybe thats the way Sportbet.io do to blackmail others who doesnt like them or expose them

So, you accuse Sportsbet just because someone TwitchySeal who wears their signature leaves the negative tag on you? And now you expect from Sportsbet to get involved in your paranoid theory? Are you serious?

Why you do not complain to other two negative tags on your profile before TwitchySeal tag you?

edit:

i never scammed anybody or intended to scam anybody if he have a proof he should present it already sent him a message

isn't this the message?
