3841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Affiliates (Paid Streamers) - Fair or Not to other non-paid gamblers? on: September 01, 2021, 07:54:19 PM
When you watch a Streamer like "Trainwreckstv" .... and you see him betting $1000 per bet, you distance yourself from betting like that. Nobody in his right mind will drop $1000 per bet on a Slot.... if it was their own money.

The other side of the coin is this... he is betting on these Slots and he is feeding those Slots for other people too, so if he does not hit the big wins on those Slots he was feeding... then those Slots are filled for other gamblers to win. (Remember : He is filling those Slots with the casinos money too)  Wink

Question to the Stake "Plinko" experts out there?

People are saying you will hit the 1000x multiplier on Stake "Plinko" after more or less 32 000 bets, so if this is true.. does it mean that you can bet 31 999 bets at say $0.10 and then switch to $10 per bet and then win the 1000x ....surely it cannot be that easy?

I for one do not believe that Stake is counting all the individual bets to see when you are due for a "Plinko" win.... if it was, then the Provably fair (Client Seed + Server Seed) will not count for shit.  Roll Eyes

Anyone tried this before?
3843  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 01, 2021, 12:32:50 PM
I actually think Online casinos must adapt a variable KYC verification system, where they require you to verify in different levels. So let's say you only wager say, $1000 per week.. then no verification is necessary, but when you wager say $5000 per week you have to verify on level 1 (ID) and a photo where you pose with the ID ..... and level 2 = $10 000 per week = ID / Proof of address / Bank Statements etc. etc..

The object of this is to prevent money laundering.. right, well why will a serious money launderer go through all the trouble to create multiple Alt accounts to launder say +/- $50 per account per week.  Roll Eyes  (If it is even possible to wager $1000 with $50)  Tongue
3844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase Sponsors New MrBeast YouTube Video! on: September 01, 2021, 10:45:43 AM
It is a pity that the $500 000 prize in this video was not done in Bitcoin payments, because it was sponsored by a Crypto exchange. They could have just given the person a hardware wallet with that amount of bitcoin on. (Wink wink ==> A good opportunity for an advertisement for hardware wallets too)  Wink

Youtube sponsors will only pay you through Youtube's interface, on the condition that you display their ads on the video. They (usually) don't influence your video content, that would be the creator's job to do that.

The video can still have the ads and be like any of the other videos, but instead of giving Dollar bills, they could just hand out random hardware wallets with bitcoin on them or transfer the bitcoins from their wallet to the receivers wallet. (If the receiver does not have a wallet, they can give them Paper wallets with bitcoins transferred onto it.

Just imagine Ledger or Treazor getting onboard and sponsoring hardware wallets for a mass giveaway (pre-loaded with $1000 worth of Crypto per wallet and 1 secret wallet with $100 000 on it) - They can get different color wallets or they simply mark them, so they will know when someone wins the $100 000 one.
3845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase Sponsors New MrBeast YouTube Video! on: September 01, 2021, 09:27:22 AM
I have been watching Mr Beast for months and I would love it if he also joined Bitcointalk and did some of his videos for Crypto enthusiasts. Bitcoin will allow him to take this global, without the boundaries and restrictions that cash and other payment methods offer him.

3846  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin assets cannot be blocked - is that helping terrorists? on: August 31, 2021, 08:19:27 PM
So, can anyone prove that Bitcoin is used to assist terrorism ..or are we blindly accepting the fear mongering that are blasted on popular media channels? The same media channels that selectively showing only pro "vaccine" content and refusing to show anti-vax content?

Terrorist use a lot of different things.... like Gold coins and Diamonds and Silver and US Dollars ....etc.. etc.. but that does not suit the "Media" agenda to show that. (Bitcoin and Crypto currencies must be the bad guy.. right?)  Roll Eyes
3847  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: August 31, 2021, 06:21:02 PM
actually from the current youtube/twitch scene .. which streamer are sponsored by Stake ?

almost every streamer i watched they claimed they playing with their own money

It is actually not that difficult to determine that.. just look at Eddie's Giveaway every Saturday and you will see who they are, because when their names are drawn.. they have to forfeit the win. Eddie and his team decided that paid Streamers are not eligible for the Giveaways. (Because they do not use their own money to gamble and to qualify for those tickets)

They might claim that they are using their own money, but I seriously doubt it and you can clearly see when they splash money and make huge bets... that it is not their own money. Some are not even upset when they lose that money, because it is not their own.  Roll Eyes
3848  Economy / Economics / Re: Enjoy communism (II): Venezuela to cut 6 zeros from its currency on: August 31, 2021, 04:00:36 PM
I feel really bad for the people who are living in Venezuela, but Capitalism cannot thrive.. if they cannot show that their system is better. The  capitalists brag about it's success, but it's success is built on a stack of cards called debt. It is only through tax bailouts and the clever manipulation of those economies that they portrait a smoke screen of wealth.

The sad fact is that the majority of capitalists are a small number of people compared to the rest of the population. There are a huge gap between the rich and the middle class and the poor people in these economies. (The Covid epidemic showed the cracks in this debt driven capitalist economies, with a lot of these people losing their businesses within a month of lockdowns)
3849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next US president pro-bitcoin? on: August 31, 2021, 11:57:43 AM
One thing I have learned from politicians is this.... "They will say any bullshit to get into power" and prior to the election, they will make huge promises and when they get into power... they forget about all those promises and they just do the opposite.

During the "Trump" elections.. a lot of people that were pro-Bitcoin got into key positions and we all thought that it will stay that way. Those people quickly turned to conform to the ruling party agendas and some of them even turned against Crypto currencies. So do not get your hopes up!
3850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Affiliates (Paid Streamers) - Fair or Not to other non-paid gamblers? on: August 31, 2021, 08:53:25 AM
Ok, there seems to be a lot of people who are in favor of Streamers being paid to stream by the casinos. Now I wonder if these people are actually just in favor of that, because these Streamers are doing "giveaways" and if this is stopped... then these "Giveaways" will also dry up.  Roll Eyes

Also, Syztmz is not the target here... he is just an example of someone that are not being paid by the casinos... and you see "raw" gambling and emotions with him, that you will not see with paid gamblers. (Your emotions are totally different when you play with your own money)

The question has not been answered yet... "Do the paid gamblers/streamers, suck out all the winnings with casino money?)  Huh Huh Huh

3851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Affiliates (Paid Streamers) - Fair or Not to other non-paid gamblers? on: August 30, 2021, 02:20:06 PM
So, we know there are a lot of people out there, that are getting money from casinos to gamble and to Stream that online. It is no secret and widely known and a lot of discussion is currently happening, since Twitch has clamped down on some of them.

https://www.wired.com/story/twitch-streamers-crypto-gambling-boom/

https://logincasino.org/article/how-much-do-twitch-streamers-make-on-casino-partnerships65068.html  <== Top Streamers make from $100 000 pm.

Now the question is this.... If Casino's give a lot of money to certain people to gamble and Slots are based on a combined "Pool" of money to make up the RTP for an individual Slot... are other non-paid gamblers not competing for wins against the "House"?

When you gamble on say, "Fruit Party" and your bets goes into a "Pool" for someone to win big, are you not funding the big wins seen on these Slots by gamblers that are being paid to play? (What risk do they have, if they play with the casinos money?)

Syztmz (Streamer not using Affiliate money) had a heated discussion on his last Stream about him having to compete with his own money, against Affiliate Streamers that are using Casino money. ( I think he lost something like $100 000 on his last 13 hour stream session )

So what do you think...? Is this fair or not... let's make this a good discussion. (Ps... I merit people for constructive posting)  Wink
3852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Domino's franchise offering salary to employees in bitcoin!! on: August 30, 2021, 11:17:50 AM
My employer gave us a choice.... You tell them what percentage of your salary ..they should pay out to you in Bitcoin (No other coins) ... and I prefer it that way, because I buy bitcoins every month.. so if I do it or they do it... it stay just the same.  Wink

This actually stimulated a lot of interesting stories of people who never saved a single dime in their life ...and now with this incentive, they started saving for the first time. (Some even as small as $50 to $100 per month)  Cool

Some of these people have been using their bitcoins to buy lunch at the Cafeteria, because the employer has also started accepting Bitcoin as a payment method for the Cafeteria. (Lightning Network payments)  Wink

-snip-
I just read, is not only a link but also "code" referral.

So, right now all gambling streamers can't put any link or code of their referral everywhere. They need to steam without all of that, but I guess people is really smart ~XD just like DarkStar say, probably they're gonna to change put a link discord and get the link referral/code from there.

If you looked at Eddie's previous Stream, you would have seen him .. editing or obscuring the Stake.com banner that were displayed in the bottom left of the screen... but he forgot to do that or to remove the Banner, so someone (probably a competitor streamer) reported him and they banned his account.

I think he should have asked Dusan or Steve to stream on their accounts and they could have edited the forum with the new link and pushed it out on Telegram and in the Stake chat.

Well, looking forward to see what they are going to do for the "Giveaway" for next Saturday!  Wink
3854  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Top Urgent-Bilaxy exchange Hacked Notice!! on: August 29, 2021, 12:12:51 PM
The past few months has been bad for several exchanges as hackers continue making them the target, this is sad news for the exchange, hope they can coordinate with other exchanges so that if hackers try exchanging those coins for other coins they can be confisticated and returned to the true owners. But is it possible to move a large amount of coins without someone authorizing the transfer of coins.

What other Crypto wallet providers and Exchanges has been hacked in the last couple of months? You cannot identify coins that was hacked, because the hackers push those coins through Mixer services.

Also, who is going to "authorize" coin transfers? Have you ever seen anyone complaining that their coin transfer has been "waiting for approval" ....or are you just sucking things out of thin air to pump your post count? (Bitcoin has no centralized authority like a Bank that "authorize" coin transfers... it only happens when you use centralized (regulated) third parties.)  Wink

"you do not need millions of tickets to win something"
Thats true, however those who have more tickets has a great chance to win compared to those who have less. But overall when it comes to lottery its all about luck. Currently I prefer to save all my free spins, I think its much better to increase the chances of hitting nice rewards although it seems not related at all, but still, I like it that way.

I like to check lottery winners and to see how many tickets winners have! In round 304 1 place was 0.1 BTC and the guy had only 12 tickets! So yes, there's no need for many tickets, just a stroke of big luck! I didn't win any lottery place in +5 years! And I had over 10k tickets many times... I still didn't lose the will to collect them, this week I got a lot of tickets from WoF spins and I have 17k tickets!

I have been here a lot longer and I also have not won anything with way more tickets than 17 000 tickets, but hey.... if you think that will help...sure ...buy more tickets. My view on this is quite simple... if you keep on buying more and more tickets.. you increase your chances to win something, but you also increase the expense on the Lotto. (Spend more, profit less when you Win)

What would you have accumulated if you simply left the Satoshi's in your account at 4% compound interest over 5 years? I use my interest to buy tickets.... so it is costing me nothing.  Cheesy
3856  Economy / Economics / Re: Bullish? Bankers Issue ‘Seismic’ Warning: crypto could replace USD in 5 years on: August 28, 2021, 07:44:55 PM
The Banking sector rely very heavily on the "controlled" system of governments and Reserve Banks.... so why would they now abandon that shield and protection of the Fiat financial system being manipulated to protect them?

We know the governments use tax payers money to bail out Banks, when they are reckless with their customers money and the Reserve Banks manipulate the supply of money to the Banks and also interest rates to control the value of the Fiat currencies.

The Banks might adopt a "GovCoin" that are controlled by governments, but not something that are controlled by the open markets. (Supply & Demand)  Wink
3857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online sexy casinos on: August 28, 2021, 03:40:08 PM
What do you think of sexy casinos? Do you think it's a good thing? Have you ever tried any? What is your favorite one?

I have not tried it both online and offline and I think will not even think of trying it I could lose my concentration when it comes to betting for me I need 100% of my attention and listen to my hunch on what number is the best to bet, with those sexy girls in front me my mind will wander on something else besides there are hardly sexy casinos that you can find online. but there are offline casinos that cater to players who wants sexy dealers.

You are talking as if you have control over what the outcome of your bets will be..... it does not matter if a fully clothed host is out there or if they are totally naked.... the bet outcome will still be the same. Why not spice it up and have naked hosts ... so that you forget about your losses and it will be less painful to see your money going down the drain.

It does not matter what you do.... the games where there are a live hosts are all rigged to make the house win. (rigged is actually not the right word... just "configured" to favor the house)  Cheesy
3858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay with Bitcoin on: August 28, 2021, 12:25:55 PM
I am so glad someone is opting for the Lightning Network and not the original Bitcoin (BTC) payment option. I personally feel people are put off from the concept of paying with Bitcoin, when they have to wait for transactions on the Blockchain to confirm. (Some of these transactions during congested periods, can take a few hours)  Roll Eyes

The Lightning Network is fast and perfect for use, when you want to use Bitcoin as a payment option. OP, thank you for doing this.... I hope you are going to implement some kind of incentive to encourage people to use this. (Example : 10% discount for people paying with the Lightning Network)  Wink

I think Freebitco.in must change the "History of Freebitco.in" a bit to also reflect the actual history of this site. ==>https://freebitco.in/site/faucet/
and not the history of faucets in general. (The start of Freebitco.in was rooted in faucets, but the whole business model has changed to a gambling site now)

Can we not have a timeline of the evolution of this site, because it is a very interesting story that has to be preserved. Freebitco.in has evolved from a faucet to an industry giant in the gambling world.  Wink
3860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers/Public will have Access to Quantum Computers in 5-10 years? on: August 28, 2021, 08:27:47 AM
OP, tell me something.....

You are saying that there are a few quantum computers in existence today... So tell us, how many of these quantum computers have successfully acquired even 1 Private Key? This would have been blasted on all news media platforms ..if that was true.... but it is not true. It is not as if it is not productive to do this, because 1 000 000 of Satoshi's coins are still out there... so if they can do this, then they can cash in on a major treasure.

Even if they are successful ..some time in the future, then developers will fork to a new coin with stronger encryption and people will just shift their coins or use the new forked coins. (Full nodes will just be too happy to allow this, because it will protect their coins)  Wink
